They were sitting in Kagome's home, all drinking hot chocolate or tea. None of them spoke, not sure what to say. At first they thought it had been a dream, but it didn't explain why they were older and how Kagome had suddenly grown a pair of black ears. Rei was still a Phoenix, no longer Sailor Mars, and Serenity was finally free from the persona of Sailor Moon.
Tran had taken over the role, already knowing her next mission in life. She was exhausted, mostly from the past several months. Tranquility, despite her dark past, found she couldn't hate the humans. Serenity wasn't sure how to approach the other Sailor Senshi or Mamoru, but the quieter woman knew things couldn't continue the way they had been.
Her destiny no longer intertwined with Crystal Tokyo, nor did she want it to. Artemis was sitting beside her, almost appearing human. Occasionally he would find his arm around her waist, but she didn't seem to mind. None of them were ready to face the world as of yet.
There were a lot of complications. They had no money, no school or job. Rei and Kagome would be able to return because of their demon qualities, while Serena simply didn't want to bother catching up. Tranquility had decided to drop out long before she met Sesshomaru, but it still left them all with the uncertainty of their future.
Midriko had promised all of them happiness, but how could that be possible when they were separated from the people they wanted most. Kagome missed InuYasha, Rei longed for the freedom of the skies with Koga running below her, while Tran regretted never telling Sesshomaru how wrong she had been for running away.
"What now?" Serenity finally asked, breaking the silence.
"I think we should return home for now, and think about this in the morning," Rei said.
Everyone agreed, bidding Kagome good night as Serenity, Rei and Artemis went to their respective homes. "Are you going back to Minako?"
Artemis smiled, seeing past her hidden question. "I have no intentions of becoming a house cat again. Luna drives me crazy and Minako doesn't take anything I say seriously."
Serena giggled, knowing how flighty her friend could be. "I miss them, but I don't want to pretend anymore. I'm glad that I'm not Sailor Moon anymore; is that wrong?"
"You were never meant to be Sailor Moon, and for that I apologize."
"It wasn't your fault anymore than it was Luna's. If she had only known what mother was trying to tell her, she would have found Tranquility. Only you had knowledge of my sister."
"What of your boyfriend?" Artemis asked her, a bite in his voice.
She glanced at him from her side vision, unsure of how to take his question. Was he jealous of Mamoru? Is that why he always chose to stay with Minako and rarely stayed around after a battle? "I can't marry him."
He should have left it at that, but Artemis couldn't help himself. For two life times he had watched and guarded this woman. He had been closer to her than he could have ever been to Tranquility. "Why?"
"I'm not sure," she whispered, as if in a daze. Turning her head, the color of her eyes sparkling, Artemis thought her the most beautiful creature in the world. "Once I thought I had all the answers, all my dreams figured out. Now, I realize that some dreams change. Love should be the reason I marry, not because of a memory or an obligation."
The city was empty, the lights from the lamps dancing on the pavement in a display of colors. "You turn eighteen soon," he said, trapped in the spell of the moment.
"Everything seems so different now."
Artemis stepped up behind her, sifting her golden hair through his fingers. "Is it?"
Slowly she turned, finding herself incredibly close. His eyes were an intriguing silver, his fingers feather light against her skin. He stepped closer, pressing her against the wall of a building. "I've never allowed myself these feelings before," he said, almost curious.
"Feelings," she asked, repeating his words. With a twist of his hand, her hair fell free, falling to the ground like a golden carpet. He liked her hair down, for her to be different than what tradition demanded of them.
"I should probably wait, but..." he breathed.
"Wait..." Artemis chuckled. She was trembling, but it wasn't from fear or the cold. He was having a powerful affect on her, having the chance to follow his instincts. His youkai had longed for a mate, but had given up the hope.
"I want to kiss you," he asked. His arms circled her waist, holding her close as he slowly lowered his head. Artemis took his time, wanting to taste her. It was like an explosion of fireworks. Serenity had kissed Mamoru, but it had never been anything like this.
Soon he would have to return them to the real world, but for these few moments, she was completely his. Artemis led them down the sidewalks of Tokyo, enjoying the night. Serenity, long after he had released her from their kiss, was clue less. He smiled in affection, knowing he had a few months before he could rightfully claim her. Artemis just prayed that she didn't take quite as long as it did her sister.
That night, they simply walked and held each others hands, Artemis returning her home that morning. Serenity had decided that she would prefer it this way, knowing her adoptive parents would take her reappearance in storm of tears and questions. Artemis promised to wait for her at Rei's shrine, disappearing into the morning shadows.
The reunion was like she had expected, Serenity unable to say anything as her parents wept, hugged and cried some more. They thought something had happened, blaming themselves for her disappearance. Sammy was the biggest shock, offering her his comic books and favorite deserts. All he wanted was for her not to vanish again.
She wanted to tell them what happened, but Serenity knew they would never believe her, with the exception of Sammy. Serenity decided to tell him the truth, watching his eyes widen in shock. "You were really Sailor Moon? I should have figured it out, but you always acted so ditzy compared to her."
"Sammy, being Sailor Moon was the saddest responsibility anyone should ever have to bare. I hated it, but mostly I hated the secrets I had to keep from everyone. It turns out, that I was never meant to carry that burden."
"What happened?"
"My older sister, as a result of Luna, ended up never being found until a few months ago. We almost lost her."
"You're different, not as... I don't know how to describe it."
"The past few months changed a lot of us, seeing a side of ourselves that none of us liked. It took the love and sacrifice from Tran for us to see how divided and selfish we really were. I hated being Sailor Moon because it took away my freedom to hang out with my friends the way I wanted."
"What I didn't realize is that I still had my friends, and all my parents wanted from me was to try? I resented school, but it was the responsibility I hated more. Tran never asked for anything; she just took life the way it was given to her."
"Can I meet the others?"
"Sure. I think there's a little boy that you'll like. He's about your age and his name is Souta. Like Tran, he goes to a private school and apparently doesn't have a lot of friends."
"What about Tran? Does Mom and Dad know?"
"I haven't the heart to tell them."
"Why not...?"
"Tran is dealing with the past, but the important thing is that she's not alone anymore. She has her friends now."
"Can Artemis, that white cat, really change into a panther? I like to see it!"
Serenity laughed, telling her parents they would return home soon. They gave Sammy permission to spend time with his sister, realizing that she was beyond the point of telling her to go to school or needing guidance from them. They too had noticed the change in their rebellious daughter, her motions regale. She reminded them of a Princess.
"Your friends never stopped looking for you," Sammy said, following her to the High School. He was curious, why did she want to go there. It was before hours, and most of the students had yet to arrive.
"Mamoru?"
"He took your disappearance the hardest, but I think he has a new girl friend now? I think he finally accepted that you weren't coming back."
Serenity was glad that he had been able to move on, and hoped that he would be able to forgive her. As she had expected, he was the first to run by, dressed in his familiar t-shirt and jogging pants. For a moment, she thought he would keep going, but then he suddenly skidded to a halt, his blue eyes slowly turning to face her.
She could read a thousand emotions in them; shock, confusion and most of all relief. Serenity offered him a reassuring smile, not surprised to find herself wrapped in a tight embrace two seconds later. "Dear God Usagi, what the hell happened?"
"It's a long story, one I'm willing to tell if everyone is willing to listen."
"Usagi?" They turned, seeing three girls standing behind them with tears streaking down their face. "It is you!" Again she found herself suffocating in a group hug, unable to break free for several minutes. Sammy laughed at the scene, the girls pulling away reluctantly.
"Who's up for skipping school?" She asked them, already knowing the answer. All of them followed her to their favorite hangout, Andrew surprisingly joining their table as she explained everything that had happened.
"You were in another time? Is that even possible?" Ami asked, already trying to type in the equation. Serenity gently took the computer away from her, shaking her head sadly.
"The past is where it needs to be, in the past."
"You changed your hair," Minako approved. "I like it."
"I think it was time for a change. Mother always wanted us to lead lives that were never our own. It was a fate that killed my sister."
"My mother told me about Tran once, but the memory was too sad for her," Makoto whispered. "Was she really the strongest warrior in the Terran system?"
"Tran would laugh if you told her that. Actually, Artemis or Sesshomaru would have to take that position."
"Artemis?" They all shouted in surprise. "Where is that fur ball?" Minako growled. "At least he knew where the enemy was and how to deal with. Luna only knows how to lecture us about responsibility and our destiny as future leaders of Crystal Tokyo."
Serenity's eyes flashed an angry silver, the hair on her forehead rising before she forced herself to calm. "Your destiny is not for Luna to decide!" All eyes stared at Serenity in surprise, truly seeing the leader she had become for the first time. She didn't whine and she didn't scream. "As far as I'm concerned, you're free to lead a normal life. Crystal Tokyo can never happen now, and Luna will have learn to deal with it."
"Besides, I think that talk between her and Artemis is long over due. She's bullied him for far to long."
Mamoru shifted in his seat, looking slightly uncomfortable. The girls looked away, not knowing how Serenity was going to take his news. They remembered the last time he had tried to break up with her and had nearly cost them her life. Serenity laughed, touching his hand in a calming gesture. "I already know."
"Huh?"
"Sorry," Sammy said. "She wanted to know how your were and it kind of slipped out."
Mamoru searched for signs that she was angry, but all he saw was a hidden laughter in her eyes. "You're in love with someone else," he finally realized. Mamoru returned her smile, glad that he didn't have to worry about her any longer. "Should I have a talk with this guy. We may be friends now, but I'm still your protector."
"No offense, Mamoru, I don't think you'd last two seconds."
"I think I remember your sister. Left one hell of a black eye for months."
"You fought her?" Serenity gasped.
"It was in a martial arts tournament."
"You lost?" Makoto asked in wonder. "There go my hopes of beating her." Everyone laughed, knowing the lightning senshi's love for a challenge.
"Who's the lucky person?"
Mamoru coughed, blushing bright red. "Well... After you left, we were faced with a slight problem. The senshi were having trouble fighting their battles and a week ago, they all ceased being able to transform. Her name is Setsuna."
Serenity laughed, having a feeling Tran knew what would happen when she reclaimed the silver crystal's power. "There is no longer a need for the sailor senshi. Strange how you would fall for the former Time Senshi."
"But what about...?"
"Tran wanted you to be happy, and has restored things to the way everything was meant to be. Sailor Moon was her burden and her burden alone."
"She can't fight future monsters alone."
"That's just it; we're not alone. I just don't think she's figured that part out yet. We may be back in the modern era; but the people we left behind don't age and die."
"It explains a lot about our pasts," Mamoru said. "There was still a good portion that was missing."
For the rest of the morning, the friends stayed at the arcade, discussing future dreams. Ami had continued on to high school, while Minako had begun her acting career. Makoto was working on her restaurant and already had high reviews from one of the most critical corporations in the city.
"Western Corporation? Who's in charge?"
"I think it's a three way partnership. It's said they have a monk for a body guard." Ami tapped her chin, trying to recall their names. "I think their names were Sesshomaru, InuYasha and Koga."
"Come on," Serenity shouted, racing out of the arcade. Her friends followed, wondering why she was suddenly so excited. "This is going to be great!"
"What is?"
Turning, she whispered her plan, everyone breaking apart and going in their separate directions. It was the perfect idea, and if she knew her friends, they loved playing match maker and a happy ending.
Serenity couldn't believe how big the office was, her feet sinking into the plush carpet. Artemis was beside her, calmly staring out the window. At first he had thought her plan insane, but after a few minutes, he had to agree it was the perfect way to get back at Tran.
Kagome and Rei were helping to maintain the Hikawana shrine, having seen an increase in visitors, while Tran had surprised them all by joining a special forces unit for the police department. She had passed through their training with ease and could easily take on the cockier males that had tried to make her life difficult.
In a single day, she had already busted up one drug ring and a slave trade that was capturing teen girls and sailing them to the middle east. She was making a lot of allies, but too many enemies for the feline's comfort. Thankfully, no one knew of her family connections, Tran having made it clear that she wanted to keep Serenity's blood relation a secret.
She was aware of the danger she represented to her friends, therefore asking Artemis to keep an eye on them, while Rei watched over the former senshi. Serenity was admiring a picture of the Western Lands, somehow unaffected by the changes of the modern era.
The door opened, and to their pleasant surprise, they were greeted by two familiar faces. "Sango, Miroku!" Serenity cried, greeting both with a smile.
"It's been awhile, at least for us anyway," Sango laughed, hugging the blond. "Is she really fighting the drug lords?"
"Hai, but I think she's truly happy. People are suffering and she's giving hope back to the parents around the world as she tracks down missing children. It's so sad to see how they were treated."
"Humanity has a way of showing its uglier side," Miroku agreed. "Sesshomaru is giving her 100 percent financial support, cutting off any potential problems. Drug Lords have connections in every department in the city, their arms reaching around the world."
"I think she's already gained the attention of the United States and Mexico. They seem to be having the biggest problem with drugs and missing girls."
"What brings you here?"
"We're here to shake things up a bit," Serenity smiled. "Tran is used to being alone, so she can deal with the separation from Sesshomaru. It's Kagome and Rei that are having a harder time. I don't think any of them have realized how close their soul mates are."
"What did you have in mind?" All eyes turned to the three males standing in the doorway, their auras intimidating. Sesshomaru looked no less scary than he did before they left Feudal Japan.
"Close the door," Artemis said. "This may take awhile."
Serenity again told them of her plan, Sesshomaru unable to hide his smirk. He had to admit, he liked the idea and Tran wouldn't be expecting it. After setting the time and place, the group sprang into action, ensuring that everything would be perfect.
Rei watched her friends with suspicious eyes. She knew they were up to something, but Serenity was blocking their minds from being scanned. They were sending the last of their customers home, and locking up when a pair of arms grabbed and covered her mouth with a cloth.
She couldn't scream, losing consciousness. He made sure that she was completely asleep before he lifted and carried her out of the house. Scanning the darkness, and ensuring himself that everything was clear, he took Rei and ran. Waiting near the main part of the shrine, another shadow snuck into Kagome's room and snatched the woman before she had a chance to wipe the water from her face.
Tran tensed. For a moment, she thought Rei had cried out, but it had been cut off. She was on the way out of the office when the phone rang, another officer taking the call. A knock on the door, and he poked his head in. "Tran, you may want to take this?"
"What's up Rick?"
"Did anyone know that you were friends with Kagome or Rei?"
"Only yourself and a few others that I trust; why?"
"Take the call."
Tran couldn't believe this was happening. Who could have found out? Taking a deep breath, she answered the phone, listening to Rei's grandfather frantically tell her that both Kagome and Rei were missing, a message on their pillows.
"I'll get them back," she promised, keeping her voice cool of all emotion. Rick was the only one who saw the rage in her eyes, the way her fingers clenched together. Tran slammed down the phone, already heading out the door. Rick shook his head, not wanting to be in the kidnappers' shoes.
Tran was an excellent cop, the best any of them had ever seen. What surprised them the most was how she never carried a gun. "Should you be going alone?"
"Everyone's already gone for the day," she said.
"But..."
"Don't interfere, Rick. Attacking me is one thing, but to involve my friends..." Rick was truly terrified of this woman, surprised at how quickly her personality could change. Tran was always so confident and calm, but apparently when her friends were threatened she showed a side that left people scattering in all directions.
Rei woke with a headache, finding herself in a large bed with a warm fire crackling a few feet away. There were no marks on her and the door to her room was unlocked. What kind of kidnapper would give her free access to his house?
The mansion was huge, taking Rei nearly an hour before she found the stairwell to the first floor. Male laughter echoed in her ear, warm breath against her ear. Rei struck with her elbow, but her kidnapper caught it and shoved her against the rail of the stairs. "You have a lot to learn still," he taunted.
Her eyes widened. She never thought... Turning her head, Rei glanced over her shoulder and gasped. Blue eyes sparkled with mischief, a familiar grin on his face. "Tran should have known better."
"She wasn't expecting a demon to kidnap me!" Rei growled. She hated how easily he had caught her. "Humans weren't consider a threat."
"Rei," he snarled, his teeth snapping together, "Never assume that humans are to be taken lightly! Besides, just because this era hasn't seen demons in a long time, doesn't mean that they don't exist."
Koga led her to the main guest room, a servant bringing them a cup of hot tea. "Sesshomaru barely managed to bring the demons and humans into the modern century." Rei slowly relaxed, strangely comfortable in the wolf demon's presence. "There are still those on either side that wish to see the fragile alliance fall apart, to re-start the bloody wars again."
"Why did you kidnap me?"
"Tran tends to forget that she's still young and vulnerable by our standards. She's stirred up a hornets nest, and eventually she'll be killed for it. None of us are going to allow it."
"You're setting her up," Rei snapped. Slamming down her cup, she headed for the front door. Koga easily snatched her arm and slammed the door shut.
"She'll not be harmed, Rei. Tran can't keep fighting all her battles alone! Artemis even agreed that she's placing herself in a lot of danger. Besides, I think she'll like the surprise in the end."
"You promise she'll be ok?"
"Sesshomaru may end up with a nasty fight for this, but it wouldn't be the first time."
Rei allowed Koga to lead her back towards the couch, the wolf demon placing her next to him. "Who's the kid that follows you like a puppy?"
"Chad? He's a wanna be rock star."
"I don't like him."
"You're just jealous," Rei giggled. Koga could be so obvious and cute at times, but knew better than to say so. "How do you know so much about Tranquility? She's barely been at her job a month."
"We're a big anti-terrorist organization, Rei. With the publicity she's gained, who doesn't know about her? At least she was smart enough to keep her family connections out of it. Everyone assumes she's an orphan still."
"Isn't your job dangerous?" She asked, worried that he may get hurt or killed.
Koga smiled at her concern, wrapping a strand of hair around his finger. He loved her hair. "The danger is when our enemies don't comprehend what they're fighting. InuYasha and I are bad enough, but tangle with Sesshomaru and you have more than a few million dollars to worry about. Entire organizations have been know to vanish, and no one seems to be able to pin point it on the Western Lord."
"He's that powerful?"
"Sesshomaru never drops his guard, and he has everything to lose. He knew Tranquility was around, but we also knew that we couldn't interact while our past selves continued to travel back and forth here. Now that the well has been destroyed, Sesshomaru can finally have what he's always wanted."
"Tran isn't going to like this," Rei sighed.
"It's good for her. Sesshomaru doesn't like her job, but he won't try to stop her either. He's a lethal enemy, but a powerful fighting companion. Tran isn't a lone anymore and she needs to realize this."
Rei grew silent, tired from a long day working at the shrine. "Can I stay kidnapped for a few days?" Koga laughed, letting her snuggle against him. He found that he liked it, forgetting how much he had enjoyed their company during their six month search for Tran.
"What's wrong?" His breath was a soft whisper against her skin, but she was too exhausted too realize how her body responded.
"Need a vacation," she mumbled. "Haven't had one since I returned from your time."
"Has it really only been a month for you?"
"Yeah," she yawned, her eyes closed.
Koga, after she had fallen asleep, couldn't help himself and pulled the Phoenix into his lap. He had often wondered what it would have felt like to do this, to stroke her hair, to sniff her hair, and sit comfortably as she rested. Koga wasn't sure about how she felt, but it felt good to pretend. Finding a more comfortable position on the couch, he held her for the remainder of the night.
He found it impossible to sleep, his mind deep in thought. Rei inched closer, shivering slightly. Koga smiled, providing her with the warmth from his body. Rei, unlike the other girls, had never been looking for love, scarred by the neglect from her father.
Rei had told him of the way her father had abandoned her, and he still hadn't been able to comprehend the logic of it. Wolves protected their young, even when the pup wasn't their own. Koga would never truly understand the nature of humans, or why they did the things that they did.
Koga had sensed her sadness in the past, but she never cried or complained about it. If he hadn't asked her, she probably would have never told him. As the Phoenix, she would fly for hours, letting all her thoughts drift with the wind. He pulled her closer, wrapping his legs around her thigh.
It suddenly dawned on him that he missed the beautiful Phoenix, an often silent companion as they searched for Tranquility. She asked for so little of him, but Koga had seen hints that she was simply content to be in his presence. It was a comforting thought. Koga was used to the females of his pack relying on him; Rei only wanted him for the company he provided. She could hunt, most of the time better because of her excellent eye sight.
Koga gave a wolfish grin. He wondered if she would object to him keeping her for several days, if not forever? The thought was tempting. What kind of kidnapper would he be if he simply let her go without a fight? Rei slept through the night, not waking until long after the sun had risen. Koga hovered above her trembling mouth, waiting and watching for her eye lashes to move. Upon her first waking breath, he claimed her mouth.
Rei was immediately awake, surprised that she was kissing him back. He didn't want to, but Koga stopped to allow her to breathe. She touched her lips, still feeling the affects. "Koga..."
Koga was impossibly handsome, able to attract all the female attention he desired. They both knew this, yet Rei couldn't recall a time when he had spent time with one. He gave her a wolfish grin, the one she had become familiar with. She loved this side of him. Koga, by nature seemed very childish, never taking anything seriously unless he had to.
Tranquility always had him on edge, never taking the word danger into consideration. She probably didn't even understand the concept, ready to fight until her last dying breath. Rei on the other hand, preferred to stay out of trouble, fighting if and when it was necessary. She had changed in the past several months, becoming more patient and wise as the Phoenix.
Rei laughed, knowing Koga was far from childish. It was just that look, the pretense of innocence, that fooled those around him. Koga was an impossible tease, but very deadly, masculine and sexy. She blinked, Why would she think that? Rei was not the type to normally think about men in that aspect, and it slightly frightened her.
Koga had been watching the emotions play in her eyes for several moments, knowing the minute she started to resist what was happening. All too familiar with Tranquility's habits, he rolled Rei further beneath him. "Something wrong?"
She couldn't remember why she was trying to get away, distracted by the intensity of his gaze. His eyes were so blue, taking on a predatory gleam, glowing from the fire in the fireplace. Why was she running? What was she trying to avoid? Rei was having difficulty remembering as Koga calmly waited for her reply.
His smile widened, revealing very white and sharp teeth. Was this normal for a wolf? Koga was confusing her and he damn well knew it. He smelled her fear and the need to run, growling a warning as he licked at the soft curve of her neck. "Stay..." Rei jerked, feeling his teeth nip at her ear, stopping to nibble at the tip. "...already a part of my pack... The others like you."
Rei suddenly wanted everything he had to offer; a home, a family that would keep her safe and his love. She shook her head. How could she possibly risk her heart? Koga chuckled, lifting his head enough for her to look at him. She was instantly lost, forever a slave to his desire and heart.
"It just occurred to me," he purred, "that a captive is at the mercy of her kidnapper. I thought of letting you go, but I think I'd rather keep you."
"Koga..."
She yelped in surprise, feeling his teeth on her skin. "Wolves are very predatory and possessive animals. If we want a mate, then it's generally up to the female to fight off the male. There's only two things I take very seriously in my life; the safety of my pack and my mate." The last was released with a vicious snarl, Koga biting and licking her jaw. He avoided her lips intentionally.
"Mate..." She had never considered that he had wanted her, let alone to become his mate.
"My mate is whom I choose it to be, and you're more than acceptable for that role. To ensure the safety of my mate, she'll be where I can protect her; in my arms! Unlike Sesshomaru, I'm not as comfortable at leaving you in the path of danger."
"But..."
"Tranquility proved last night she can't always be around to stop someone from hurting you. No, her enemies aren't aware of Kagome or yourself, but given time they will."
Everything was happening so fast. Rei swallowed the wave of terror and struggled to break free. Koga tightened his grip, his body trapping her to the couch. His arms caged her in, their noses almost touching. She could barely move, Koga powerful beyond imagining. He was a demon with over four thousand years of experience, his power only surpassed by Artemis and Sesshomaru.
Koga wanted her, and he had all night to think about it. She knew he wouldn't change his mind; wolves were undeniably stubborn. "You're already mine, Rei. All that remains is for me to finish the claim." His voice was soft and gentle, yet determined. She knew he would do it, and nothing she did or said would convince him otherwise. Koga was aware that her fears were based off the past, and that wasn't good enough for her to refuse him.
"You know why this is impossible," she whispered, not wishing him to see the pain in her eyes. It was unavoidable, the salty liquid sliding down her cheeks. These were the first since her father had left her so very long ago, to meet a grandfather for the first time.
"Don't you dare compare me to a human!" Rei was startled by the ferocity in his voice, Koga literally trembling in rage. "He was simply a man, a human man at that! Your real parents died during the Silver Millennium. Wolves never abandon their own and I won't ever make my mate feel unloved or unwanted! You're mine and I'll be damned if you try to fight this comparing my actions to..." Koga couldn't finish, unable to see beyond the red.
He had learned to tolerate the humans, but the knowledge of what they had done to Tran was still too fresh in all their minds. Damn Rei for thinking he'd leave her and damn if he was going to allow it to continue. Koga kissed her with a savagery that cleared all thoughts from her mind, demanding that she see him and not a man that wasn't worth remembering.
Gradually the anger lessened, Rei wrapping her arms around his neck. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
"Don't shut me out, Rei. Tran refused to allow anyone close to her, not until the end. By then, we couldn't help her. I taught her everything; we were raised as brother and sister, never once bringing up the fact that she was Solarian. She was only a child when we found her, a vicious one, but a child nonetheless."
Koga continued to stroke her cheek, a sadness in his gaze that he seldom showed anyone. "Tran was so alone in the end. Even as Sesshomaru's mate, she was alone, both always away fighting some kind of battle. You'll never understand how much he regrets the time he could have spent with her but didn't because of duty and responsibilities. Rei, I promise to kill anyone that comes close to either of you again. Rei, do you fear to be loved, or to love in return?"
"They left me!" Rei cried. "I was ten, and my father wanted a divorce. He said I was a freak, but mother wouldn't give me away. She committed suicide and he sent me away to live with a man I had never met. Father said he wanted nothing to do with a girl child, especially one that had evil powers. I promised to never make a child of mine feel the same way. Dammit, I can't! I won't!"
"Rei, you're not the only one to feel a sense of betrayal, afraid to allow yourself to love again. It took time to forgive Tran for leaving us; I think Sesshomaru still blames her. Tran blocked her pain and mind from us; it was her way of protecting us. To Artemis, she was like a daughter. She was my sister and too Sesshomaru he was his laughter and smile. He forgot how after she died, and even now you seldom see him do either and only around Rin."
She felt the loneliness he felt after she died, wanting to take it away. It was something she understood. "She was the only family you had."
Koga nodded; "Father was always too busy with the pack, leaving me to wander and fend for myself after I was old enough. I met Tran when she was ten. By then I was already a thousand, taught to kill Solarians on sight. They were our enemies. I had never met one before, and thought nothing of it at the time. Nothing ever prepared me for such a fight."
"I can imagine," Rei laughed. "Kagome told me about the first time she saw Tran. She nearly killed the gang members that tried to hurt Kagome."
Koga smiled. "She's a feline and everyone knows what happens when you corner one. Tran had no real experience in battle, but her fear of dying and being captured more than made up for it. All she had to go off of, were a few training sessions with Artemis."
"Tran fell in love with the woods, and the freedom she never would have had on Solaria. I taught her to hunt and fight, and within a few short years she was completely wild. She didn't want to go back to the way things had been, wishing to stay in the open freedom of the forest and wolf pack."
"Father never approved of her, but didn't have much of a say when I threatened to challenge him for the pack. She became my responsibility, and I never regretted a moment of it." Koga sighed; "After she died, I swore to never let anyone get close like that again. I loved her like a sister, and to lose her was devastating. I don't even want to know what Sesshomaru felt. He killed everything in his path for over a century, becoming known as the Ice Lord."
"Rei, choosing you as a mate is not a decision that I make lightly. We live in a violent world, despite the illusions of safety. For now, we're given a chance at happiness and we shouldn't turn it away. Will you allow fear to keep you from that happiness?"
She touched his lips with the tips of her fingers, starting to believe that he could love her. "You could have anyone..."
Koga nipped at her fingers, moving towards her tempting mouth. He was tired of talking, licking and nipping for her to invite him in. "I think I've figured out how to handle my captive," he teased.
Rei blushed, squirming as his hands slid under her Kimono. He revealed her shoulders, ensuring that he kiss every inch of her flesh. Koga moved them to the fur rug in front of the fire place, the glow dancing on her skin. He wanted her to scream his name for hours, to plead for him to allow her release. This was going to be fun.
Never having read books on the actions between a man and woman, Rei could only lie helplessly as Koga bent her legs and pulled down her pants enough to expose black curls. She started to hide it, but Koga grabbed her hands and held them down. With his arms curled beneath her legs, propping them upon his shoulders, she was unable to stop him from tasting her.
She jerked at the whisper of his touch, his tongue lightly stroking the sensitive flesh. He only touched the part between her clit and opening, drawing out her climax. Koga wouldn't allow her until he was ready for it to happen.
"Koga," she whimpered. Rei was so incredibly hot, with no signs of his strange torture ending. His tongue circled around her clit, flicking across the swollen flesh. Her body jumped off the ground. He felt the build up, and Koga would stop before she fell over the edge, starting back up when she started to process what was happening.
Rei forgot the time, never realizing when Koga discarded his clothes and was untying her belt. His hands parted her Kimono, peeling it away as if she were a christmas gift. Koga never stopped lapping at her clit, enjoying her soft pleas and whimpers.
He released her hands, still keeping her legs in the same position as he began to massage her breasts. Rei's mind exploded in pleasure, always on the verge of something that Koga wouldn't allow her to have. "Koga!"
Her scent was all around him, a powerful drug to the demon lord. He wanted more, to bury his throbbing cock into her tight warmth. It was so painfully tight, but he had enough patience to wait awhile longer. He wanted to wait until all she would want was the powerful drive of him pounding into her. Koga was a wolf and mating could at times be brutal. She would enjoy every damn minute of it, but be deliciously sore by the time he was through.
Koga tickled the entrance of her womanhood with his fingers, inserting two fingers. His eyes widened. She was so incredibly tight that he almost came on the spot. Koga released a savage snarl, his youkai quickly taking control of the Demon Lord. It was growing impatient with waiting, wanting Koga to take her in the way a wolf was meant to take his mate.
She thrust her hips against his hand, wanting more. Adding a third, Koga started to lick her clit again, shocked by the intensity of her reaction. There was no way to stop the liquid that covered his hand, but Koga built the fire to even bigger heights. Rei was clawing at the rug, and he was thankful that she couldn't reach his shoulders.
Koga suddenly stopped, smiling at Rei's loud protest. She was breathing in short gasps, beads of sweat rolling down her belly. Koga kissed up her stomach, finding a breast and latching on to a nipple with his teeth. With his fingers, he would pinch and stroke the other, driving her into a sexual frenzy. He wanted her ready for him, to not think about him slamming himself into her.
He continued to her lips, working her into a position that had her sitting in his lap, her back to his chest. Her breasts fit into the palm of his hands, the perfect size for him to stroke and pinch her hard nipples. "Koga..." she pleaded. Every inch of her body was on fire, and only Koga was capable of putting it out.
His only response was another snarl, giving full control to his youkai. Koga pushed her forward, placing her on all fours, her knees slightly parted and her hips raised off the ground. Koga was in a crouching position, his hands holding her in place. His grip would leave marks, but Rei was too far gone for her to feel it.
She couldn't see the red of his eyes, the pure desire that roared to be released. Koga stroked her clit with his tail, watching her become wild and excited. Rei wanted the release, and screamed in pure pleasure as he took her in a powerful stroke. Rei was too far gone to feel the ripping of her innocence, coating him in her fluids.
Koga hesitated briefly, but Rei voiced such a protest of rage that he could do none other than to continue the frantic pace he had started. Their bodies were a sheen of sweat, and it didn't help that Rei had surrounded them in a blaze of fire.
Thankfully it didn't burn his house down, only licking at their skin, building their sexual pleasure until all Koga could do was growl, bite and thrust even harder. She felt it wash over her, again and again until she came with a shattering cry. Koga was close behind, filling her until it slid down her thighs.
He was so damn tired, but Koga knew he needed to wash both of them off. Reluctantly he pulled out of her, lifting the almost catatonic woman into his arms. She had a lazy smile on her face, content to allow him to do as he pleased. As much as he felt like obliging her, he didn't think either of them would survive another session until they were rested first.
Koga had a feeling he would never tire of his fire bird, wondering if every time he took her would be better than the last. "I'm reading your thoughts," she teased. "And don't think I'll let you get away with earlier."
"You're threats are suppose to frighten me," he laughed, turning on the shower. Rei was in pure heaven, feeling the spray wash over her skin. She gave him a look of smoldering fire, and to his complete shock, he wanted her again. Rei caught an image in his head, and decided to show him how powerful she could be.
Without warning, she knelt and took his entire length in her mouth, sucking and nipping until he was hard. Koga howled, his fingers digging into her shoulders. Rei would flick her tongue over the head, keeping him on the edge before she would drive down all the way. Koga was quickly losing control, but he was far too old to let this little Vixen have her way. Snatching her thick hair, he yanked her up and claimed her mouth.
In one move, she was pinned against the wall, her legs wrapped around his waist. "You're going to kill us both," he growled, suckling on her breasts. Rei cried out when he took her, the wall giving him the extra support to thrust with deep and long strokes.
Slow and fast, he loved to draw out their final moment, each screaming with a shattering release. Thankfully he had no neighbors and the servants were in a completely other wing. Koga would probably wait to tell her she was pregnant, knowing his kind were very fertile. It didn't help that a Phoenix could have twins, possibly even triplets. As for that matter, so could wolves. The thought almost made him laugh, but he had a feeling Rei was still getting use to the idea of just being his mate. He'll wait a month before she was too far along to object at the idea.
InuYasha didn't know if he should respect Kagome's vicious nature, or smack her all too available ass. She was too frightened to recognize his mane of silver hair, clawing and biting his arm. The last straw was Kagome biting his tail. "Dammit, Kagome!" he roared, slamming her down onto the street.
Kagome could only stare up at him, her mouth hanging open. She started to say something, but the look in InuYasha's eyes quickly changed her mind. He was more than furious; his eyes completely red. Kagome scrambled back, but InuYasha was quicker, yanking her up and holding her arms down.
"If I had been anyone else... Do you not know that kidnappers kill their captives?"
"Did you want me to go quietly?" She shouted back, her temper quickly getting the better of her.
"That's what most people would do, not piss of their kidnappers!"
"Why the hell are you kidnapping me anyway?"
InuYasha laughed, already picking Kagome back up and carrying her to an isolated cabin. They were at the edge of the forest, far out of the reach of curious eyes and ears. "That feline friend of yours forgets how dangerous her world can be. She thinks Rei and yourself safe from harm, we decided to show her how wrong she can be."
"Have you lost your mind, InuYasha? Tran isn't going to take this kindly! Dammit, I doubt that I'll be able to stop her from killing you before she calms down!"
"By the time she figures it out, she won't care."
"InuYasha, what are you up to?" Kagome growled, not wanting to see her friend hurt.
"Calm down. Serenity wanted to surprise her, but Sesshomaru decided this would be more appropriate."
"And you agreed with him?"
Kagome thought the world would end before InuYasha and Sesshomaru would ever agree on anything, yet it appeared the two even worked together. "Sesshomaru's right. She thinks by keeping her friends and family a secret, that all of you are safe. Perhaps for a time, she'll be right. You and I both know how much these drugs and slaves cost to the buyers and owners. In a single month, she's managed to anger people that now have a contract out on her life."
"Tranquility can protect herself, but eventually they'll find out about her two closest friends and sister."
Kagome had to admit, InuYasha made a lot of since. She had worried about Tranquility, never once thinking about the consequences to Rei or herself. "Sesshomaru won't hurt her, will he?"
"No, at least not enough that she'll hate him for it. She's a fighter, and a damn good one. Thankfully she's still a kitten."
"I wouldn't tell her that," Kagome warned. "InuYasha, if the humans captured and killed her once, can't they do it again?"
"That's exactly why Sesshomaru is doing this. Serenity was worried that Tranquility won't care if something should happen to her."
"I'm sorry about your tail," Kagome apologized. "When did you get it?"
"The same time you four left. Midriko transformed me into a full fledged demon, minus the insanity that went with it."
"Does that mean..." Kagome touched her velvet ears, turning over the implications in her head.
"You're exactly what Sesshomaru and I are," he confirmed, stroking the sensitive ears. They twitched, Kagome's eyes closing shut in pleasure. "She knew the only way for you and I to be happy was for you to change. You're not upset about it, are you?"
"I was a bit surprised at first, but I like it. I'm stronger, and Tran doesn't have to spend as much time worrying about protecting Rei or myself. Artemis keeps a close watch over Serenity, knowing how dangerous it is until she goes through her first transformation."
"Have you made the change yet?" He asked.
"I wasn't sure how to do it."
"I'll teach you later."
His home was small but comfortable, InuYasha needing very little to survive. He was never one to want material things, living his life from moment to moment. "Is teaching Tran a lesson the only reason you kidnapped me?" Kagome asked, a tinge of hurt in her voice.
InuYasha laughed, grasping her chin. "You should know better. Kidnapping you was merely an excuse. Serenity meant only to set us up, but we called and told her to make sure that you two were finally alone. Sesshomaru can be insensitive at times, but no one ever faulted him for a lack of imagination. His plan was pure genius, and quite fun."
"I'll bet. You scared the hell out of me."
"I am a bit disappointed. Aren't you supposed to be able to sense demons when they're close by?"
Kagome blushed a deep crimson. She had felt their presence, but passed it off as Serenity and Artemis being close by. InuYasha stared at her in pure disbelief. "Don't you dare tell me you ignored your instincts!"
"Ok," she quickly agreed, already looking for an escape route.
InuYasha snatched and set her on his kitchen table. "Dammit, Kagome. What if I had been someone else and my intentions were to hurt you!" Kagome stared at the former Hanyou, seeing the pure terror in his eyes. "Hasn't fighting Naraku taught you anything! You can't take anything for granted. God Kagome, I can't leave you alone for a five seconds, let alone five hundred years!"
Trembling with emotion, InuYasha crushed her in a tight embrace, fighting back the tears. How the hell was he supposed to function if Kagome was always getting into trouble? He couldn't blame it all on Tranquility. She was depending on Rei and Kagome to be paying attention.
Kagome returned the embrace, wanting to tell him everything would be ok. However, she knew he was right. Kagome was far too trusting, and it would get her or someone else killed. InuYasha sighed, "I think we're going to have to fix this little habit of yours."
She shuddered at the tone of his voice, the sound a pure velvet of seduction. His clawed nails slid down her back, slicing her shirt in half. She wasn't even aware, not until the pads of his fingers snapped her bra apart. "InuYasha..." she gasped, attempting to pull away.
"Yep," he growled, "way too damn trusting."
"We can't..." she weakly protested, tilting back her throat in submission. InuYasha chuckled, already moving in to her tempting offer.
"Why not? I did kidnap you..."
"You're impossible!"
"I'm not doing anything I wouldn't have if you had stayed," he growled.
"That's not my fault!" she shouted.
"Do you want me to stop?" Perhaps he had misunderstood her intentions back then. InuYasha pulled away, but Kagome quickly threw her arms around him and bit down on his shoulder, surprising them both. Unable to keep his balance, he fell, taking both of them crashing to the floor.
InuYasha flipped her over, but Kagome wasn't giving up so easily. She was attempting to display her dominance of the relationship, and InuYasha was loving it. The moment she released his neck, he was on her back, pressing her against the wooden floor.
He nuzzled her neck, calming her before he bit down into her neck. Kagome yelped, but InuYasha kept her pressed against the floor, lapping at his mark with his tongue. It was difficult to describe; InuYasha was being possessive, yet gentle at the same time. "InuYasha?"
"What?"
"You're not going to regret this are you?"
"Why should I?"
"I thought you liked..."
"I haven't wanted Kikyo since she tried to kill you." Worried that he would crush her with his heavier weight, InuYasha carried her to his room and gently placed her on the custom made bed. It was so soft, that she could find herself never wanting to leave it. He was so quiet, staring at her with a wonder that left her speechless. "Thank you," he finally whispered. Kagome was so startled that all she could do was stare at him. He couldn't have possibly said what she thought he did.
She knew he had been acting strange before she had returned to the future, but this was more than her mind could take at one moment. Where was her InuYasha, the one that never tired of taunting her? He rarely had a kind thing to say unless she was near death, yet here he was thanking her. "I didn't..." He touched her lips with a finger, tempted to kiss her senseless. Perhaps he would anyway.
"You accepted me. Kikyo would have never done that for me. Don't get me wrong, I love being a demon, but you would have accepted me for who I was regardless. As long as I have you to protect, I will never stop fighting. Do you regret loving me, Kagome? I know I haven't exactly deserved it, but you were always there for me."
Kagome smiled, "I'll never regret freeing you from that tree." She lifted her face, capturing his lips in a shy kiss. InuYasha let her set the pace, opening his mouth when her tongue asked for entrance. She had only seen this kind of thing in movies, and hoped that she was doing it right. He sensed her hesitation, purring his pleasure for reassurance.
She reluctantly pulled away, shyly watching him for signs of disgust or disappointment. InuYasha licked his lips, wanting more than the few seconds she had just given him. He'll never get over the kindness and love she had freely given to him, a mere half-demon deprived of both worlds.
Growling, InuYasha rolled over to his back, settling Kagome on top of him. She stared at him in shock, unsure of what to do. Cupping the back of her neck, he pulled her head down and took possession of her mouth, teaching and coaxing her. Her ears twitched, a signal that she was excited. "I love you," he finally whispered.
InuYasha held her hips, but did nothing further. She would choose, and he would teach her how to perfect the technique. Kagome never imagined he would take her feelings into consideration, and appreciated it. To be honest, she had no clue how to continue. "Inu..."
"Shhh..." he said, soothing her fears. "I want you to repeat everything I do, Kagome. Do you trust me?"
"Hai," she whispered. InuYasha took his clawed finger and did the same to the front of her shirt that he had done to the back. Kagome felt a strange warmth creep to a point between her legs. She was slightly afraid of the feeling, but couldn't find it in herself to stop.
The tattered remains of her shirt slipped to the bed, InuYasha tossing it away. The bra quickly found the same fate, InuYasha lowering his hands to the bed. He longed to touch her, but he would follow through with his initial plan. Kagome was frightened, and he was giving her the chance to accept what was happening. This was all her choice, and she knew it.
She met his golden gaze, a shy smile her thanks. Thankfully he didn't have his fire rat robe on, or she might have had second thoughts about what she did next. Grasping his shirt, she looked at him for reassurance, that this was what he wanted her to do. He made no objections and with a jerk, she shredded the thin material into several pieces.
InuYasha gaped at Kagome, surprised by the suddenness of her action. If he hadn't promised to let her set the pace, he would have taken her on the spot. InuYasha calmed his desire, seeing the fear build in her eyes. "Kagome, I'm not going to hurt you. Why do you fear this?"
"I heard stories."
"Tell me," he gently asked her, wanting to calm any fear she had. It was this approach that had her relaxing, allowing her to trust him to be gentle with her. "Kagome, you have nothing to fear from me. Talk to me."
"I heard girls mention that sex hurt."
"Why?"
"They didn't say why. I've heard some guys laugh at how easy they were, taking what they want and then discarding them." InuYasha's eyes flashed in rage, wanting to find these males and teach them what was and wasn't appropriate.
"Kagome, look at me." She did as he asked, melting on the spot. "I am not them, nor will I allow you to be hurt. Even if it were just sex, I'd get nothing out of it unless you were enjoying it as well."
A tear slipped down her face, InuYasha wiping it away with the pad of his thumb. "I'm being as gentle as I can, at least for your first time." He gave her a knowing smile, "I know for a fact that you'll want the rougher side as well."
Kagome couldn't help it, but she blushed. He made sex sound enjoyable, going against what she had been taught. Watching her reaction, InuYasha slowly lifted his hands, brushing his fingers against her neck. He stroked her quivering flesh, moving his hands up and down her sides. InuYasha did nothing else, simply stroking her. Kagome relaxed even further, surprised that she was still willing to continue.
Girls never talked about how enjoyable sex was; she had only heard how painful it had been, some ending up with an unwanted pregnancy. Would InuYasha still love her if she carried his child? She instantly knew he would, having a strong feeling he would spoil the child rotten.
Kagome didn't realize her ears were twitching wildly, but InuYasha chose not to point it out just yet. Her eyes held a speck of gold in them, glazed over with arousal. As promised, he lowered his hands to the bed again, allowing her to repeat the action.
His muscles rippled beneath her feather light touch, InuYasha hissing. His hips bucked beyond his control, and to his pleasure Kagome didn't cower back. She seemed to like her affect on him, and he fought not to growl. His youkai was confused by his willingness to allow Kagome control, but he would play the dominant male later. This was for Kagome, and his way of showing her how he felt.
Kagome felt something hard pressing against the inside of her thigh. She shifted her weight, surprised to here InuYasha cry out in surprise. This time he couldn't hold back the snarl of desire, his claws digging into the mattress. He was sweating, struggling to keep control of his need to reverse their position.
She paused, wondering if InuYasha would be able to keep his promise or not. Kagome started to back away, but he quickly snatched her hips and held her. He wasn't hurting her, his eyes a combination of red and gold. "Kagome, why do you fear me? I may be showing signs of aggression, but I will not act on it! Unless of course that's what you want me to do?"
"Am I hurting you?"
"Kagome, it's hurts like hell to hold back. Males of our race aren't known to allow the female control like this. We can't help it."
"Why are you?"
"You aren't ready to handle that kind of aggression. Born and raised as a human, I'm all too familiar with how brutal your kind is toward their woman and the stories you would have heard. Tran can handle that kind of aggression. Hell, I think she'd give Sesshomaru a run for his money before he managed to take her. She's a feline and their vicious from what I heard. It's a game to them, and pure instinct. Don't be surprised if you don't see a lot of red marks on Sesshomaru the next time you see him."
"Artemis won't do that to Serenity, will he?" Kagome gasped in horror. She couldn't imagine the gentle girl being able to take it.
InuYasha laughed. "Male felines are no where like the females. They're extremely territorial and possessive, but females are designed to be the way they are because they refuse to just accept any male for a partner. It's instinctive. If the Male can't force the female to submit, she'll simply walk away and refuse any further contact."
"Did Tran do that to Sesshomaru?"
InuYasha smiled, "Koga said Sesshomaru was constantly fighting her the first year they met. She refused to submit, but he finally managed to win her trust and eventually her heart." He tugged on her hips, encouraging her to move forward until he had her where he wanted. "I won't deny that you'll try every ounce of my patience, but I'll keep my promise not to take you until you're ready for it."
Kagome glanced down at him curiously, her hands on the bed above his head. She had no idea what he was about to do, but waited patiently. While holding her hips with one hand, he shredded her shorts with the other, taking her panties with them. She felt vulnerable, but Kagome trusted InuYasha. He simply waited, his hands trembling against her hips. This was killing him, his teeth clamped down on his lip.
Kagome shifted until she was turned around, still in the same spot where InuYasha had moved her. She had tried to move, but his grip refused to let her. He wasn't hurting her, and decided that he intended to show her something as soon as she had finished copying his actions.
His fingers clenched and unclenched at her hips, InuYasha constantly growling. Still, he kept his word and waited. Kagome slowly slid his pants off, completely opposite of what he had done to her shirt. She gasped at the surprise underneath, staring at twelve inches of hard flesh.
Curious, she touched it, startled to hear InuYasha scream in pain and pleasure. "Dear god, Kagome! Are you trying to kill me?"
"I'm sorry!"
"Don't you dare apologize, Kagome! I'm just warning you not to do that unless you're prepared for me to take you now!"
Kagome heard the warning, suddenly not so afraid of him anymore. He was trying so hard not to hurt her. "What now?"
InuYasha lifted his head, blowing on her moist nether lips. She jerked, but InuYasha held her in place. He repeated the action, driving her slowly insane. Kagome followed his lead, wondering what it would be like if she licked it with her tongue. He hadn't told her to, but he had seemed to like the feel of her hand a moment before. How far would it push him over the edge?
Lowering her head, she slowly flicked her tongue across the swollen tip of his flesh, feeling him freeze in total shock. "Kagome," he growled. She continued, ignoring his growing frustration, swirling her tongue around and around. Her hair tickled his skin, and InuYasha decided two could play this game.
Tugging on her hips, he lowered them until he clamped onto her clit, stroking the small nub with his tongue. Kagome bucked and wailed, feeling a wave of heat slam into her. His hands were on her rear, holding her firmly against his lips, his tongue darting in out of her tight sheath, stroking her clit again and again.
Kagome took her hand and slowly stroked the hard length, watching it get bigger as she picked up the pace. She added her lips and mouth, sliding her teeth along the edges. It was pure heaven and hell for both of them, Kagome's fluid gushing out like a river.
InuYasha didn't want to come this way, but suddenly she took all of him, sending him over with a howl of pure pleasure. He couldn't stop trembling, his cock getting even bigger as she sucked him clean. A bare thread of control remained, but it was enough to turn her back around to reclaim her mouth. She could taste herself on him, his lips and teeth moving to her breasts.
Kagome whimpered, driven by a powerful need. He knew she was ready for him, no longer afraid. InuYasha slowly guided her hips to his throbbing cock, inch-by-inch guiding her onto him. Kagome wanted all of him, but InuYasha refused to allow her to slam onto him. He had made a promise, and he'd be damn if he was going to break it.
InuYasha felt the barrier to her virginity, pausing long enough for her to accept what he was about to do. Kagome bared her teeth, wanting InuYasha to stop holding back. She leaned forward, kissing and nipping his neck before she bit the same mark she had made earlier. InuYasha snarled, unable to stop the thrusting of his hips. Kagome froze, pain hitting every nerve of her body.
He didn't move, nor did he let her pull away. Gradually the pain faded, and still he waited. His tongue flicked across her still hard nipples, building her arousal until the point she was rocking on his cock, wanting him to move. She suddenly didn't want him to be so gentle, testing the friction a few times before she pulled up and slammed back down.
InuYasha bared his fangs, daring her to do it again. He had not wanted to take her this way, but if she was up to it, he was more than willing to play the game. He circled her waist, holding her impossibly still as his other hand played with her clit.
Kagome begged and cried for him to allow her to move, but she wasn't strong enough to fight his grip. "You will not force me to break my promise," he snarled.
He felt her clench around him, but still he wouldn't move. Kagome was quivering with unrestrained sexual desire, and InuYasha was the cause of it. "INUYASHA!" she shrieked.
"Do you want it?" he asked, his voice pure seduction. InuYasha wasn't playing fair and he knew it. Kagome was too far gone to want him to be gentle, her nails digging into his shoulders. The brown of her eyes were completely golden now, and with a ferocity that startled him, she snatched his wrists and held them down.
With a powerful up and down motion, she slammed all her weight down on top of him. InuYasha struggled to break her grip, but not before she did it again, each downward thrust stronger than the last. Curse Midriko for giving Kagome the strength of his race.
"Kagome..." Their was nothing gentle left in his voice, Kagome having sent him over the edge of his control. "Stop if you don't want the consequences."
"Is that a threat," she purred. "You and I both know you'd never hurt me."
"No," he snarled, reversing their positions. "However, that doesn't mean I can't have you begging in a matter of seconds." He slammed into her with all his strength, watching her face for signs of pain or fear. InuYasha paused, waited several seconds before he did it again.
"Stop playing with me!" Kagome shouted, prepared to bite his arm in frustration. His neck was too far for her to reach.
"Say it!"
"I want you to stop holding back! It's not what you want and we both damn well know it!"
"I refuse to hurt you!"
"We're beyond that point! Please, I want you to screw the hell out of me!"
His mouth gaped open, surprised that she even knew what the term meant. Her ears were laid back, irritated that he was deliberately torturing her. He had kept his promise, now she wanted him to take her the way he truly wanted, the way they both needed him to. Her entire body was consumed in fire.
He pinned her hips to the bed, fully holding her gaze. "Tell me exactly what you want, Kagome. This is your decision and once you make it, I will not stop!"
"I want you to hold me down, and fuck me." InuYasha had no idea she even knew words like she was using, and doubted that she was even aware she was using them. He had intended to push her over the edge, but this was more than he had expected for their first time.
Doing as she wanted, InuYasha yanked her to the edge of the bed and positioned his feet on the floor. Throwing her legs over his shoulders, and bending them almost to her chest, he began a pace that had her screaming and snarling in pleasure. She was shredding his bed, but neither of them cared.
Kagome was in pure bliss, wanting more. She whimpered, InuYasha giving her what she wanted. He lost count of the times he made her orgasm, and it wasn't enough. InuYasha wanted her unable to move by the time he was through, to sleep for the next month as far as he was concerned. He pulled out, laughing at her angry snarl. She almost bit him, but he was quicker and flipped her over.
"Close your legs together," he growled. She did as she was told, pleading for him not to stop. "Stretch out your arms and reach for the bed rails." Doing as he said, her breasts flattened on the bed, her hips slightly raised. InuYasha climbed on the bed, straddling her hips before he slammed into her. The position was designed to make him go deep, making her orgasm with each thrust.
She was losing consciousness, and with a roar he exploded inside of her, unable to stop pumping for several minutes. InuYasha couldn't move, completely drained. Kagome had fallen asleep in her position, finally sated. He couldn't believe her sexual appetite, already thinking of ways to torture her beautiful body. Apparently she liked it rough, and bondage sounded like a really good idea at the moment.
As he had predicted, Kagome was perfectly happy to stay with him for the next month, finding new ways to drive her mate crazy. It was the perfect honeymoon before the marriage, and neither of them seemed to mind that it was out of order.
