Reneguade

Ragdoll: Indeed. Just you wait though....Lol...

Silentwriter: Poor Gary, loves Angel to bits, finally realizes it, then other shit starts happening and he gets side-lined in Angel\'s heart. Poor guy. And about the executives; don\'t worry, something will be done. And yes, I added the Lucario comment expressly for those dirty thoughts. :D Gotta give you guys SOMETHING amidst my ceaseless plot. The Lucario has now found himself a better home. And, I know you commented; if you go back a chapter or two, I DID comment on your review dear. :)

"So, in other words, we are waiting for George to get here, just to go back in and set straight a few executives who\'re deciding they\'re better in control than me?" Angel commented, reaching into her bag.

"I uh, I guess so, if that\'s what you want to do. I figured we\'d let them tire each other out, then go in and smarten them up..." Gary replied, feeling rather sheepish. Angel wasn\'t the Angel she used to be, and he kept noticing it. It was almost beyond ignorance, now.

"No. You\'re waiting here for George, and I\'m going in to destroy them, one by one. Last time I checked, I\'m in command here, and they\'re MY underlings. They all got the email."

"To be fair, you haven\'t even shown up to take command. How are they supposed to know anyone has taken over?"

"That\'s if they even have nothing to do with Giovanni\'s disappearance. We won\'t know that until we get there and confront them. Whether their Pokemon are tired or not, I\'ll have to set them straight." Angel began cladding herself in her Rocket robes, nodding to Gary once she was done. "Just follow behind me when you have the chance. Amelio, stay here, just in case." without another word, Angel left the room, leaving a curious Gary, and a silent, stoic Amelio. Moonlight perked up his ears from his sleep, and trailed behind his Angel - she wasn\'t getting away from him THAT easily.

"Well, I guess we wait..."

* * * * *

Angel and Moonlight slipped silently through the little old lady\'s shop, whom was reading a rather large-print novel, and deep into the Rocket Hideout. A few grunts glanced at her, but took no notice - she was after all wearing high-ranking rocket duds, and frankly knew better. Just because they didn\'t really recognize her didn\'t mean she wasn\'t high ranking. Moonlight casted angry glares at a few of the ones that eyes her thighs, as the skirt she was in didn\'t cover quite enough for his liking. Onward she traveled, quite easily following the shouting. The four executives were arguing in the middle of a nearby hallway.

"But I am and always have been the right-hand man!" Archer barked, directing his anger towards Petrel. She sneered, and grasped a fist.

"Because I\'VE kept everyone else in LINE! Without me you\'d NEVER have been so successful!"

"And the two of you were allowed to run about like that because I let you." Archer put in, facing however towards a silent Proton.

"How long have you morons been arguing like this?" Angel put forth, as Moonlight stood before her, the hair on his neck standing up as he snarled at them. They all cast their attention towards her.

"Well, if it isn\'t our little glory whore! Where did you stash Giovanni, huh?" Arianna replied, ignoring her commentary.

"Me? Oh that\'s rich..."

"Hey, that\'s right! Giovanni disappears just as YOU appear, and then we all get some email from Giovanni saying YOU\'RE in command..." Proton finally piped up.

"Now listen here. I know most of you don\'t know SHIT about what really happened, but I guarantee the wonder-twins had inside people on this, and I KNOW one of you had to be involved. Now I\'ll give you all a chance to pack your shit and get out quietly, or you\'ll ALL be fighting me and will be given your place. If you chose not to stand up to me, then you\'ll simply keep your positions. Otherwise, on your feet; if I discover any of you had anything to do with Giovanni\'s kidnapping, you will be killed. No harem for you; no mercy. Run to your little covert operation, and never come back. You have ten minutes to pack your shit and be gone, or simply be back here for your beating, or stand in line. Now get out of my face."

When no one left, and they stood there staring, Angel snarled. "I said, GET OUT OF MY FACE!" she screamed, making even Arianna jump in surprise. Slowly, they scuttled off, vanishing around the corner. Angel patiently took a spot on the nearby wall, and waited for any one of them to return. Would any of them have the guts? She smirked as the time ticked past, and several Rockets walked by her line of sight, almost scared of her. Was it finally setting in that she was boss, here? Did it finally sink in to their tiny minds?

Then, finally, the first one back, was Archer. She flicked her cold eyes to him, and crossed her hands over her chest.

"Well. First one back for a beating?"

"Don\'t get me wrong-" he started, raising his hands to show he had no pokeballs with him. "I\'m not here to challenge you, and I\'m not going to leave - I honestly had nothing to do with this, and I wonder if any of us did. He was kidnapped way back in Kanto, wasn\'t he? How could ANY of us have anything to do with it?"

"Don\'t you think they would have had a group in EVERY rocket hide-out there is, just to keep an eye on the masses, and to convert others into their plan? I\'m CERTAIN one of you nitwits has an ear in, and they\'re now talking to their uplines about what I\'m doing here. It\'s exactly what I want. You though, you\'re not about to challenge me, correct?"

"No - I\'ve seen your pokemon. I know when I\'m out-classed. Burns my ass, but I don\'t stand a chance. The money is far too good to blow off like that and take the risk."

"And that\'s exactly why someone involved will come challenge me - they have nothing to lose, and have an entire base to win. Get back to your desk, Archer. Question me ever again, and you\'re out on your ass."

"Yess\'m." he replied, thankfully, and scuttled off back down the hall. Angel didn\'t fully trust Archer, but perhaps it was simply his ease to let go and let be, or maybe it was the oddly natural bright blue hair, or the WHITE outfit he chose to wear. She\'d keep a close eye on that one.

"Step up, or SHUT up." came a familiar female voice from the end of the hall. Angel lifted her eyes to spot Arianna standing there with her Vileplume.

"I knew you would be back, Arianna. I don\'t suppose you\'re going to tell me what you\'ve all done with Giovanni, hmm? Do you know where that Helicopter took him?"

"I\'m not saying shit because that\'s all I know. I have nothing to do with this, but I sure as hell am not letting you just waltz in and take over, just because of an informal email sent the same day that he went missing. I\'m also not planning on going anywhere, and even if I did, it would be to find out what I can on THEIR side, but even then I have nothing to do with them, and I don\'t give a SHIT if you don\'t believe me. Vileplume, Solar beam that Umbreon!"

Angel sneered; the bitch was lying through her teeth. "Moonlight, Psychic." Moonlight slammed the poor plant pokemon as it was still collecting light energy from the overhanging fixtures, and was sent flying down the hall and through a fake wall. Arianna growled and recalled the plant. "You should know better then to send a poison type against something that could possibly have Psychic moves."

"Grrr. Murkrow, get out there and destroy it with Brave Bird!"

"Moonlight, nail it with Hyper Beam! That thing has horrible Defense stats!"

Luckily for Moonlight, his speed was slightly higher than the quick little bird, and his powerful beam struck the black feathery beast first. The poor thing poofed into a puff of feathers flying everywhere, leaving the bird naked and swirly-eyed. Moonlight panted in exhaustion from the attack, and lowered his head a little as the sneering Arianna recalled her pokemon.

"Arbok, Bite! Make it flinch then go in for the kill!" she announced, casting out the snake pokemon.

"Moonlight, Psychic." The Arbok got his attack in first; but, only due to the hyper beam. However, Moonlight did not flinch as planned, and just as the snake\'s teeth set in, Moonlight barely felt it, and launched his slow-on-the-uptake psychic. The Arbok too flew way down the hall like the Vileplume did, and hit the same wall.

"Get out, Ariana. Get out of here and never come back. Run to the other hide out, tell them it will not be long before they\'re discovered. GET HER OUT OF HERE." Angel spoke, pointing to the failed Arianna as she recalled the fainted Arbok. A few grunts scuttled over, and began to drag her out.

"YOU WON\'T SEE THE LAST OF ME, WOMAN!" she shouted, as they carried her up the stairs and tore her badge off her chest.

"Sure, sure..." Angel muttered. Out of the corner of her eye, she caught the shadowy figure of Petrel slipping out behind her. "Curious. The quiet one. I never would have guessed..." she thought aloud, stepping closer to the trash bin near the door. Arianna\'s and Petrel\'s badges lay in the bag, ironically face down. "Burn these. Make sure they can\'t come and get them while no one is paying attention." she didn\'t care who listened - someone would.

Onward she stepped, aiming towards the office of the only one she had not seen yet - Proton. The executives all had their offices in the same area, like they did at the hideout in Kanto. Where, though, would take some wandering.

"Or, not..." she muttered, as she rounded a corner, and a golden sign on a door almost smacked her in the brain. Proton in capital silver letters. She moved to push the door open, but caught wind of his voice. She halted, pressed her ear to the door, and listened.

"...don\'t care. She\'ll be on to you in no time. If you take my advice, you\'ll get him right out of wherever you have him and give him up. Otherwise, just quietly start to vanish...its only a matter of time before she gets enough swing to find you, and him along with you. I won\'t keep telling you these things for long before she finds out and makes me leave." the click of the phone told her he was done his conversation. Wasting no time, Angel opened his door, and stood there with arms crossed.

"Been informing the other side, have you? Give me one good reason why I shouldn\'t kill you where you sit."

Proton slowly turned his chair around to look at her, his hands poised tips together.

"Because, there is nothing saying I cannot start feeding them false information, or even gain information from them to give to you. It seems a double agent is exactly what you\'re going to need."

"And how do you expect me to be able to trust you, since I just overheard you telling them about me, hmm?"

"Because, you have no other choice. Sure, you can make me leave; but then, I\'ll have nowhere to go but over to them, and help their efforts. The fact is, I want Giovanni back as much as everyone else here does, but if I must help the other side to stay alive, then by all means, I will. I have far greater interests helping this side of things."

After a moment of silence, Angel frowned. "Rally everyone where you can fit them, then come get me. I need to make an announcement."
