Chapter 8

Seeing her again after a week made tokiya realized just how painfully he had missed her, he hurried into the bed and removed her dextrose, and caressed her cheeks, placing alight kiss on her lips, she stirred, and opened her eyes. Miki’s vision was blurry and her head is pounding, she also felt that she hasn’t eaten for a week, she began to panic.

“w…what happened where am i?” she asked, “baby I’m here” tokiya said holding her while she sat on the bed, “tokiya?” she blinked and her vision adjusted, she looked around and realization hit her, that’s right she’s been kidnapped with her nephew her eyes widened, “kaoru” she squeaked and looked around, and relaxed when she saw the boy next to her stirring as recca and the others help him.

“kaoru” she said shaking the boy gently, tokiya felt jealous of the boy, and frowned, but quickly realized how silly he was, he shook it off, miki then turned back to tokiya, and hugged him fiercely, and kissed him passionately, which was interrupted by a loud cough. The 2 broke apart tokiya annoyed, “sorry to disturb you love birds, but we have 10 minutes to get out.” Recca said rudely, miki nodded, and tokiya just gave his usual “hn”

Tokiya took miki’s hands, and lead her but miki tugged it back, he looked at her with raised eyebrows, she didn’t answer but reached out her free left hand and clasp the 6 year old boys hand, “hn” tokiya said annoyed, he doesn’t really like kids. Miki rolled her eyes.

They made their way silently down the stairs, and out the back, but the boy was tired and kept resting, tokiya bit his lip to keep from scolding the boy, but miki looked at him sternly. Domon noticing, this took the boy and carried him, tokiya sighed in relief, and miki whacked his head. “really tokiya” she muttered he shrugged.

Just as they were getting out the back mori’s men about 20 of them where there, and mori appeared in the back, tokiya instinctly pushed miki to his back and wrapped an arm around her protectively.

“are you really that stupid to think I would not notice what you are up to” mori said sarcastically, “well I don’t know that, but I think you’re the stupid one” tokiya said just as sarcastic. “well mr mikagami, I will ask you this let go of the boy and girl and we can arrange for you to die easily” tokiya let out a fake laugh, “you’re gonna have to kill me first to get to her and the boy.”

“very well then” mori said and he asked his men to start and they charged at tokiya and the gang, “miki take kaoru and hide in the counter,” tokiya hissed to her miki nodded and took kaoru and did as tokiya instructed. Tokiya then let out his ensui and fought 4 men at a time, easily defeating them without even a gash.

Recca raiha and domon, was doing the same, finally when the last men fell down tokiya heard a scream that made his blood boil and his heart race. “TOKIYA” it was miki, and a gun was pointing at her head, mori was smiling like a maniac, “let her go you fucking bastard” tokiya said, his ensui gripped tight in his hands, and why would I listen to you? Oh girlfriend?” and he laughed.

Kaoru, was sprawled on the floor unconscious, and domon picked him up, he was breathing, they exhaled in relief. “don’t worry mr. mikagami after I get what I want from her brother in law I’ll see to it that she’s taken care of,” he said looking at miki lustfully, miki struggled, “like hell” tokiya went to charged but mori clicked the gun, “now mr. mikagami, I don’t want to waste a beauty like her so step….” But he didn’t get to finish what he said.

He slumped forward and behind him was tomo holding a now dented pan, mori rubbed the back of his head that it allowed to loosen his grip on miki, miki ran to tokiya, but a gun fired and tokiya’s eyes widened as a bullet was going to hit miki, he grabbed her and spun her around, and instead of hitting her it hit his right arm, but not too deep, just a gash, miki screamed, “don’t worry baby it’s just a scratch” he smiled, and she caressed his face,

They look back at mori who was trying to reach his gun again but tokiya stood up his ensui on his left hand, and walked to him, murder in his eyes, he kicked the gun away and sliced mori’s arm leaving a big cut, and he kicked him to lay on his back, he then pushed the tip of his ensui on his neck. They were all shouting at him to stop but tokiya was not listening all he wants is for this guy to be dead. ‘For taking miki, for threatening miki, and for even thinking lewd thoughts of her’ this is all tokiya thought.

Then miki took hold of tokiya’s ensui hand, and he unconsciously let the force move his hand away, miki then placed her hands in his chin and tilted it to face her, “tokiya please, not like this, let him rot in prison” miki pleaded desperately, “m…miki” he said softly, his eyes softening. Miki kissed him but pulled back before he can respond. He then withdrew his ensui and it became short again, but he kicked mori so he won’t be able to get up.

They heard sirens, and tomo ushered them inside his limo, they left after they saw the police take mori and his men to the police car. “thanks tomo” miki murmured as they drove back, “no prob cutie, it’s the least I can do” tomo smiled at her, he bended over and hugged her, seeing tokiya’s annoyed jealous reaction he can’t help but taunt more as he kissed her cheek lingering long until tokiya roughly pushed him back on his seat, tomo laughed and so did everyone.

Miki laced her hands with tokiya, and laid her head in his shoulder, “I love you tokiya” she said as she closed her eyes, “I love you too” he murmured and miki smiled but did not sleep. Kaoru stirred again, and blinked, “mi-ba-chan” he murmured. Miki then lifted her head from tokiya’s shoulder and turned to her nephew, tokiya was nudging her back into his shoulders but miki slapped him in the arm playfully.

The kid went to miki and sat on her lap, “are you ok?” she asked pinching his nose, tokiya made a sound but miki ignored it. “hai, I’m strong to-chan said, mi-ba-chan who is he?” he pointed rudely to tokiya. “I’m miki’s boyfriend” tokiya said to kaoru annoyed, miki gave him a warning glare, recca and the others sniggered. But instead of crying kaoru just stared at him with narrowed eyes, and stuck out his tongue.

“I don’t like you for mi-ba-chan, you’re an ass” tokiya’s eyes widened and miki stifled a giggle, everybody just laughed, but still reprimanded kaoru, “kaoru language” miki said laughing, the kid turned to miki and smiled sheepishly, “why you little brat, I don’t care if you don’t like me, I don’t like you” tokiya said sticking out his own tongue.

“tokiya he’s a kid, what is wrong with you” raiha said, “yes stop fighting with him tokiya” miki stated, tokiya just crossed his arms on his chest looking at the other way, and biting his lips, “hn” kaoru did the same “hn” not looking at tokiya, miki shook his head, “I think I’m dating a child” miki said exasperatedly. “really you just figured that out now” raiha said and tokiya just “hn” more.

Miki’s left hand grabbed tokiya’s arm and pulled it tangling hers with his hand and tokiya relaxed, she then resumed and put her head back to tokiya’s shoulder. Kaouru cradled on her lap.

When they arrived home, kaoru ran to his mother and father, they crying as they hug him fiercely, neon then stood up and hugged miki tight, aki did the same and kurei, “thank you so much for saving them” kurei said bowing to tokiya, tomo, raiha, domon and recca. They all flushed in embarrassment as the prime minister bowed to them and they bowed back.

Yanagi, fuuko and soi were fussing over their boyfriends, “well we’ve prepared a feast, lets eat” neon said as she carry kaoru, tomo and soi politely declined because tomo had to go to their friends engagement the next day and had to sleep well.

Before eating miki ushered tokiya to her bedroom and got the first aid kit, and she treated his wound gently, tokiya was just staring at her lovingly, “stop staring tokiya” miki said as she cleans it with antiseptic, “I can’t, you’re so beautiful” he breathed, miki smiled, “thanks” he kept staring at her after a few moments of silence it was broken, “marry me miki”

Miki blinked and stared at him, ‘did he just?’ “yes I did,” apparently she thought out loud, “are you joking again?” she asked “no I’m not, I was so scared, I thought I would loose you, I love you miki, lets get married” he said seriously and pleadingly, and then he fished out a box in his pocket, and opened it, it was a white gold ring, with a sparkling ice bkue diamond in the middle, he got down on one knee and stared at her.

“miki uruha I love you so much, will you marry me?” he asked with lots of emotion, looking at her blue-violet eyes, decorated with unshed tears, her hand in her mouth to stifle her gasp and sniff, then after like an eternity, she nodded slowly, “yes, yes, yes” and she jumped on him, tokiya laughed, but was cut off by miki’s lips on his, hungrily, after about two minutes tokiya and miki both pulled away reluctantly to breath. He placed the ring on miki’s left hand ring finger.

They were about to kiss again when a cough interrupted them, it was aki, miki stood up from tokiya’s lap, and tokiya groaned, “I was just treating tokiya’s wound” miki explained, aki creased an amused eyebrow, “yes I’m sure you were, anyway go down you two” miki nodded, and plastered tokiya’s arm. “oh by the way congratulations on the engagement” aki winked as she turned around.

Miki smiled, “you can go down now tokiya, I’ll follow I’ll just take a quick shower,” miki said, giving him a quick peck and went to her bathroom, taking off her clothes, not even caring if he was still there or not, “such a tease” tokiya muttered, but he didn’t move from the bed, he laid down and closed his eyes.

After about 10 minutes, miki emerged from the bathroom in a yellow dress, now clean and fresh. She walked in her bedroom and stopped when she noticed tokiya, sleeping soundly on her bed, she smiled and walked over, and she observes his face, noting how handsome he is and hot, he looks so peaceful when he sleeps, she gently brushes his bangs, she kept staring until tokiya spoke, “now whose staring baby” she got startled

Tokiya smiled mischievously, and pulled her to him, kissing her, miki pulled away and giggled, she stood up and pulled tokiya, “let’s go I’m starving” she said, tokiya groaned but followed, they walked down the hallway to the stairs hand in hand, “hey tokiya, how did my sister found out about us,” tokiya smirked, “she told us she knows about us from day 1” miki cringed, “sometimes we underestimate my sister” miki said amused.

“took you long enough” neon said with eyebrows raised as they arrived at the dining area, “I took a shower, I told tokiya to go down but he waited for me” her brows creased higher, “are you sure he didn’t shower with you?” miki blushed and tokiya felt hot, “onee-san please” everyone chuckled, tokiya pulled a chair out for miki, and he was about to sit on his next to miki when he was roughly pushed by kaoru and sat beside miki.

Everyone laughed kaoru looked at tokiya and stuck out his tongue , tokiya did the same, “miki-ba-chan, why is he your boyfriend, he looks ugly” kaoru said, Tokiya choked, “excuse me I happened to be the hottest guy in our school,” tokiya said, annoyed at the kid, “we’ll I don’t see it” kaouru said indignantly, “why you little….besides I’m not you’re aunts boyfriend, I’m her fiancée” everybody gasped.

“is this true miki?” neon asked, miki grinned and showed her sister the ring, “ok, since tokiya is ok for us, we accept your engagement, but don’t go getting married behind our backs,” she looked at tokiya sternly, “do it right not a shotgun wedding, and after you graduate” tokiya nodded and bowed. Yanagi and fuuko, jumped in delight and went around congratulating miki, aki too hugged her sister, and soon the guys, kurei and neon.

“hmmm….if you make my mi-ba-chan happy then I guess you’re ok, but I still don’t like you” kaoru said matter of factly, “uh thanks” tokiya said rolling his eyes, “idiot” kaoru muttered “brat” tokiya muttered back sticking out his tongue, he carried kaoru off his chair and sat before the kid could protest. Kaouru stomped angrily to aki muttering darkly, he gave tokiya a dirty look and tokiya smirked smugly sticking out his tongue.

Miki whacked him in the head, “tokiya are you 5 years old, stop fighting with him” miki scolded him, “sorry baby” tokiya said as he kissed her cheeks, miki placed food in his plate. “but I do like that brat,” he smiled smiling slightly, “yeah I know you do and he likes you too” miki said matter of factly. “god I’m so hungry” she said as she stuffs her face with food but elegantly. Tokiya smiled at her. “I love you miki” she smiled “love you too” she replied after swallowing, and continued eating, he ate too.
