Note: Today marks the third anniversary of Drogons, and I wish we can start things off on a happy note, but seeing how the previous chapter ended, that is almost impossible. It's time for me to acknowledge the elephant in the room. I know that by acknowledging the elephant, it could affect my relationship with Prime, as I have been getting a lot of messages regarding the previous chapter, asking me what the hell was I thinking of making the chapter the way it was. As you all know by now, the previous chapter of Drogons has left a bad taste in everyone's mouth, regarding the cop-out ending of Drogons. As many of you already guessed, Lewamus Prime had an iron grip on the arc and how it was written.
As many of you also this, the Crimson Darkness arc was supposed to be completely different, but all the ideas that I pitched to Prime were all shot down. Although I told him that his idea wouldn't work, he was hell-bent on making the arc the way it was. Eventually, I gave up trying to convince Prime and gave in to his demands for the arc, something that I now regret doing.
I am terribly sorry for how the arc ended, and that it has left a bad taste in everyone's mouths. This story is my baby, and I don't want it to die because someone doesn't share the same thought process that I do. Again, posting this might affect my relationship with Prime, but the truth had to come out. I'm tired pretending that the previous chapter was perfect when really, it wasn't far from perfect. Okay, it was a trainwreck.
So, what happens to Drogons from this point on. Well, obviously, we are going to push forward from this. I've already made a handful of chapters in advance that is waiting to be launched. The one question that I always kept getting asked was if I didn't like how the arc was made, why not just rewrite it. Well, the reason why I'm not going to rewrite the ark is because I've already written future chapters that center around the last chapter, which will be a plot device for a future arc for the story. If I were to rewrite the arc now, I would have to rewrite all the future chapters that I have written up till now, as they wouldn't make sense if I rewrote the Crimson Darkness Arc.
Now, it's time to answer the question that has been dreading on everyone's mind, Koan is going to replace Brad and Xyaqom as the main character and will Brad and Xyaqom become side characters? Originally, Koan was planned on becoming the third main male alongside with Brad and Xyaqom. However, after the previous chapter of Drogons launched, everyone went from loving Koan to hating him. I don't want to add any more fuel to the fire by continuing what we originally planned, so for this, Koan will be written - I mean, he will become a supporting character after chapter 90.
Why chapter 90? Well, the next five chapters of Drogons have already been written long before The first part of the Crimson Darkness Arc reached its end. The next five chapters will center around Koan. But fear not, by chapter 87, things will start getting... Interesting for Koan.
And for those that may be wondering why didn't I acknowledge this in my other stories? Why only this one? Well, I didn't want to swear the mood for those stories by acknowledging my mistake for Drogons. I want to keep my stories separate from each other as possible. So that's why I waited to acknowledge the trainwreck of the previous chapter as long as I did.
