Chapter Nine.

Terra and Shawn were sitting next to Alantas and Solace. Terra still couldn�t help but to blush at the comments made by the other Soldier Senshi. Even the cold stoic Kafir smiled softly at her.

~ ~ ~ ~ Flashback ~ ~ ~ ~

The great doors to the great hall were opened as Shawn, wearing formal dress armor with a greenish-blue split skirt. Standing next to her, Terra was wearing a pale bluish-green dress that stopped just a little past her feet, Terra had to lift some of her dress so she would not step on it and fall.

The first Soldier Senshi, Terra saw was Ares, Soldier Mars. He came up to her wearing a red with purple edging around the armor that was a bit more formal than his normal armor that he wore.

The other Soldier Senshi followed Ares� move. Zeus, Soldier Jupiter came up and kissed her hand. He was wearing a dark green with a darker edging around the armor.

Kafir stepped forward and greeted her. He was wearing a black armor with purple edging around it.

Hermes stepped forward and greeted her. He and his fellow Soldiers were all were wearing more formal version of their usual armor in their respective planetary colors.

Solace-san was the last to greet her as he smiled towards her. �I�m pleased that you were able to make it to dinner, Terra.�

�I was rushing figuring out what to wear as all I had here was my bloodied school uniform and I doubt that Alantas would want to see me in that,� Terra said. �But his mate helped me with finding a suitable formal dress.�

Solace led her to the table where he motioned to her seat which was placed next to Alantas, as she was the Sailor Senshi of Earth. It was going to be announced there and then that she is the Sailor Senshi of Earth. Solace spoke, on seeing the look of expecting an announcement about Terra�s status. �It will not be announced tonight. This is a formal gathering of all Soldiers to celebrate the survival of one very lucky young Senshi.�

Solace smiled towards Terra as the others quickly grabbed their goblets and raised them towards Terra as they all cheered her. Alantas bent to her and gave her a peck on the cheek and whispered, �I�m glad we found you, Terra. I�m proud to be your cousin.�

�I�m glad you did, Alantas and found me before it was too late,� she whispered, as she returned the peck to his cheek.

�Hey! What about us? Don�t we get a peck on the cheek?� yelled Eros.

�I don�t know what you guys would think of Alantas giving you a peck on the cheek,� teased Terra.

�You know what I mean, Terra! You give us a peck on the cheek!� whined Eros, but he was smiling since she got his meaning.

Solace smiled at the young men. �Now, now, gentlemen, if she�s able to after dinner you will get that peck on the cheek. We need to start our meal.�

�Promise?� asked Eros, looking at Solace and then to Terra.

�Promise,� spoke Solace.

Alantas looked over the dishes that were placed on the table. There was Sushi with shrimp, eel, raw tuna and some egg roe, Domburi with some egg and chicken (oyakodon), tonkatsu (katsudon) and beef (gyudon) on top, Onigiri with umeboshi (pickled Japanese apricot), katsuobushi (dried bonito shavings), tuna or salmon, Yakizakana (grilled fish), hot and cold Soba noodles, Yakitori, Tonkatsu, Agedashi Tofu, different types of Tempura, different types of Gyoza, and miso shiru (Miso soup).

~ ~ ~ ~ End flashback ~ ~ ~ ~

Everyone watched as Solace looked at all the food that was on the table and then bowed his head towards the food and then with his chopstick proceeded to bring some of the food over onto his rice dish. It was the signal that Alantas waited for as he started to grab dishes and pushing them towards Terra and himself as he started to eat some cold Soba noodles. He noticed that Terra grabbed some rice and using her chopsticks put some into the soup. Soon, she was feasting on the miso shiru as Alantas and Ryoken dug into their third plates.

It was close to the end of the feast, when Alantas noticed that she had pushed her plate away about four plates full of food ago. �Are you feeling okay, Terra?�

�Yes�,� spoke Terra.

�Good!� he chimed happily, as he grabbed a ladle and poured more miso shiru into her soup bowl and pushed it towards her. �Eat up!� then, he turned towards the Agedashi Tofu and started to eat more of it.

�But I�m not hungry for more,� spoke Terra, as she pushed the bowl away from her.

�Oh come now, cousin. You are hungry, you are an Earth Senshi and we�re always hungry.� Alantas said, as he pushed the miso shiru towards her.

Solace noticed the look on her face. �Alantas, I suggest not pushing her. You do not want to get her sick.�

Alantas turned to stare at Solace. Green met piercing gold and for a span of a few seconds, there was a battle of wills before Alantas nodded jerkily and turned away. He turned towards his own meal and started to eat. Soon, the dinner was over and the other Senshi all walked with Terra as she gave them their promised kiss on the cheek.

Solace watched as they walked away before turning towards Alantas who remained behind. �Now, what is wrong, Alantas?� Solace asked, gently.

Alantas stated, �Solace, I�m worried about her lack of appetite. Since she is an Earth Senshi, we generally eat more then the normal Senshi,�

�Do not worry about her, Alantas. She�s slowly getting her stomach to accept how much food she can eat now. Do remember she been starved for food for a long time.� Solace said gently.

�I do remember, Solace. But shouldn�t she be eating more now?� he asked.

�No, it will make her ill, if she eats more than her stomach can handle for now. Can you sense if she�s bonding with Earth yet?� asked Solace.

�I can tell she is starting to utilize her powers in small ways. But I�m not sure about the bonding,� Alantas said.

�That�s not good, which means the bonding is going to take longer for her than the others did with their planets.� Solace whispered.

�What would happen if the bonding between Senshi and the planet didn't go smoothly?� asked Alantas.

�It could destroy the planet and the Senshi.� Solace said, sadly.

Alantas�s eyes grew big at this. �Is it possible that because of her abuse, it is taking longer?�

Solace turned away from Alantas and walked back to his chair and sat down. �It was something that I didn�t even consider. It may be possible that the bonding is taking longer as she was fighting to survive and the bonding was slowed by the abuse she was taking.�

�So it could be possible that the bonding was hindered by the abuse?� asked Alantas.

�It sounds reasonable, Alantas. Terra may have been so battered that the bonding between her and Earth was hindered,� Solace said.

�But now she should be speeding up with the bonding right?� asked Alantas.

�The bond between Terra and Earth will strengthen as she heals emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally, Alantas. All we can do is support her as she heals her wounds that �he� had inflicted upon her.� Solace said.

�But it may take months for them all to heal!� Alantas said.

�And it may take only a matter of a few weeks for her to heal. Now off to bed, you need your sleep if you are to help train Terra how to wield her powers, Alantas.� Solace said, with a smile on his face.

�Yes, sire,� Alantas bowed his head to him and headed for his chambers when he felt a hand on his shoulder and felt a woman�s lip on his. �Shawn?�

"Yes, love," whispered Shawn, as she pushed him into his chambers, closed his door and pushed him onto his bed. In fact, he was walking backwards and willingly allowing his mate to push him onto his bed.

A few minutes later, the sounds of them making love was heard before silence came from the room. If someone happened to peek within the room, they would find Alantas and Shawn curled up next to each other sound asleep.
