(A Saiyuki Fanfic)

Eight

Tejas walked through
the town Goku walking along side her and she stopped at the stall and looked at
the food piling on the front. "Ooooooh look at all that food."� She grinned.

Goku let out a sigh.
"But what can we do about it? Raido and Sanzo have the money."�

"I think I have some."�
Tejas opened up a pink purse and she grinned happily seeing she had some money.
"Ooooh I do have money! I wonder where that came from."�

Goku looked at her.
"You have money? Ooooh can you get me a meat bun?"� He asked.

Tejas smiled at him.
"Sure cause I want one too."� She paid the vendor and got two meat buns and the
two smiled as they walking along munching on their meat buns.

They stopped hearing music
coming form an oncoming club and the door opened as a man was thrown out the
door in a drunken stupor. "And stay out until you can pay your bill!"� The
bouncer shouted.

Tejas blinked and he
stopped looking at her. "Oh I'm so sorry miss, you didn't need to see that."�

She just smiled at him.
"It's okay, normally it's me, Vayu and Raido doing the throwing men out the
door."�

He just smiled at her.
"So what's a pretty thing like you doing wandering around this late?"�

"I got hungry."� She
smiled. "Do you know if the chocolate store is still open?"�

He just laughed. "Sure
is take a left at the next intersection there's an all night bakery and candy
store."�

"Ooooh thank you
mister!"� She squealed. "C'mon Goku!"� She grabbed him by the wrist making the
teenager blush as she pulled him along.

"Such a cute couple."�
He smiled and walked back inside and looked at the three demons standing
inside. "That's the last of the humans cleared out Lord Kougaiji."� The bouncer
bowed.

Kougaiji nodded.
"They'll be leaving tomorrow, I'm just going to alter their map destination
just a little bit, I have someone in the next town over I'd like them to meet."�

"Kou you think that's
wise?"� Dokugakuji asked. "Tejas is with them."�

"I have direct orders
for them to leave Tejas alone, I don't want her getting hurt."� He looked out
the window watching her as she was running down the road dragging Goku after
her.

"It seems she's getting
a bit to close to the Sanzo party."� Doku mused. "An unexpected turn if you ask
me."�

"I know that, but I
thought that priestess would have separated from them by now, when they split
up then it'll be best that I have a nice word with that female Sanzo regarding
her scripture. No one seems to know what scripture it is that she carries and I
for one am interested."�

"I know my younger
brother has seen it but that idiot probably wouldn't know what scripture it is
anyway."� Doku replied.

"Why don't you allow me
to go and investigate?"� Yaone asked.

"No, not this time
Yaone."� Kougaiji looked at her. "I'll be seeing her personally tomorrow. "We're
going to have a nice little chat."�

Sanzo lit up the
cigarette and he looked at Cyran, as she sat by the window looking out it, he
tuned the page in his newspaper.

"I sense Kougaiji out
there."� Cyran remarked. "He's watching Tejas."� She sighed.

"Let him watch his
pet."� Sanzo replied.

Cyran turned round and
looked at Sanzo. "Aren't you worried Goku is with her?"�

"Hmph that monkey can
take care of himself."� Sanzo replied and pushed his glasses up his nose before
taking a drag of his cigarette.

Cyran let out a sigh.
"You're impossible you know that."�

"Do I look like I
care?"�

"You didn't back then
either, but in your own way you did."� Cyran replied and she stood up
stretching. She walked over to Sanzo and looked at the paper and she smiled.
"Oh Sanzo"�"� She ran a finger over his shoulder.

"Do you want me to kick
you out again?"� He warned.

"You're just never in
the mood are you?"� She sighed. "I thought a virgin would have at least a little
interest in something"�"�

Sanzo looked at her
glaring. "Don't you have someone to go annoy"� I don't know like Gojyo? I heard
you two last night."�

Cyran grinned. "Well
that was my thanks for helping me out. I really wish you'd let me thank you."�

"And what thanks did
you give Hakkai then?"�

"Oh I bought the supplies
for you guys, that was enough besides he's too busy tying to cheer up the
antisocial one."� Cyran replied.

"Then the supplies are
enough thanks for me too."� Sanzo replied.

Cyran let out a
defeated sigh. "Man."� She complained.

~*~*~*~

Hakkai yanked the jeep
in to the curb and he looked up, Vayu looked at him and looked up also at the
hotel.

"Sorry to drag you out
with me."� He gave her a smiled.

Vayu just smiled back.
"No it's okay, I don't mind at all, gives me something to do."�

Hakkai smiled again as
he saw the glint of her eyes, she seemed happy to just be with him, even it was
going around the town asking about the local demon contingency.

"Are you hungry?"�
Hakkai asked with a smile. "I can get us some dinner if you want?"�

"That would be nice."� Vayu
smiled before blushing and looking down.

"Would you like to go
to a restaurant or just a street vendor?"� Hakkai asked.

"A restaurant would be
nice."� Vayu smiled.

"I thought so, lets go
then. We passed this nice looking one on the way back."� He stepped out of the
jeep and walked round to Vayu's side and helped her out of the jeep and she
found herself blushing again.

"Hakaryu can come too
if he's hungry."� Vayu remarked.

Hakkai just smiled.
"You hear that old friend are you hungry?"�

The jeep just squawked
and in a flash of light transformed back in to his dragon form before settling
on Hakkai's shoulder and Vayu gave the little dragon a pat on the head and
smiled at him. "He's such a cute dragon."�

Hakaryu squawked at her
before rubbing his little dragon head up against her hand.

"Looks like he likes
you."� Hakkai smiled.

"I'm glad."� Vayu
smiled.

Hakkai offered Vayu his
arm. "Shall we go?"�

Vayu blushed as she
hooked her arm through Hakkai's and the two with the cute little white dragon
headed off down the road towards the restaurant.

The field was a
peaceful place of meditation for her. As she sat in the middle of the field
letting the element of air surround her as she took in a deep relaxing breath.
Air to breathe, to blow about her giving her a sense of peace, something she
hadn't felt in a long time.

She let her eyes open
as she saw a figure standing at the fence surrounding the meadow of her
mediation place. She blinked for a moment catching the red hair and eyes
looking at her and he lent on the fence.

"Gojyo"� what are you
doing here?"� Raido stood up and walked up to the fence.

He just waved his hand
about as he looked at her. "Just checking up on you honey, I'll leave you alone
now."� She watching him walk off to the darkness that surrounded her mediation
spot and she blinked.

"Gojyo"� wait you don't
have to-"� She began but he was gone. "Damnit, you asshole, do you always have
to make this so frustrating."� Raido opened the gate and walked out of her spot
and she walked down the path she'd seen him walk down. "Gojyo"� Oiy you
asshole!"� She raced down the path and noticed how dark the area became, she
felt the pathway get smaller as she hurried down it till it was just a dirt
trail with overgrown grass brushing up against her legs as she pushed through
the shrubbery and she entered a clearing and looked round the filed and she
stopped seeing him leaning against the tree his hands in his pockets as normal
and a cigarette in his mouth.

"Gojyo"�"� She entered
the beginning of the clearing then stopped seeing a shadowy figure coming up
behind him. "BEHIND YOU!"� She found herself cry out.

He blinked before
spinning round and his Jakujou appeared in his hand and he blocked the attack
before falling backwards and she raced up to him he looked up at her.

"Gojyo are you
alright?"� She asked.

He just smiled. "I'll
be alright"�"�

She looked up at the
shadowy figure and the darkness seemed to settle around them till it was
darkness and she could feel the grass underneath her scratching at her knees
with the breeze of the wind.

Gojyo looked at her and
she blinked as he touched the side of her face, her cheeks heated up suddenly
and she looked down at him.

"You're a confusing
woman priestess"�"� He spoke.

She looked down. "It's
so hard to let people inside, I can never let anyone fully inside. I'm sorry
for that."� She felt his hand touch her shoulder and she blinked for a moment as
he leaned in close and she felt him kiss her, her hand just touched the side of
his face.

"�What am I doing?' She
found herself thinking before pulling back slightly. "Gojyo"�"� She warned. "Even
here you try this shit on-"� She began.

She was suddenly
stopped mid sentence as his body jerked and she gasped seeing the blood and she
found herself watching as the red light shot back in to the darkness.

She placed her hand
over the wound. "Gojyo"�"� She looked on at him worriedly.

"It's okay priestess,
you get out of here. I'll hold him off."� He stood up picking up his Jakujou off
the ground and looked at the shady figure as it emerged out of the shrubbery.

She blinked seeing his
face, a familiar face and dark hair and eyes. "Oh no"�"� She looked at the figure
as he stepped up to them and Gojyo stood in front of her.

"You know this man
priestess?"� he asked one hand on his Jakujou and the other over his wound, she
then noticed then from behind him it had pierced him through.

"He's my step father."�

"Guess he doesn't like
me then, that"�ll make a date a bit harder then eh honey?"�

"He doesn't like me
either."� She replied. Before placing her hand over the back of his wound.
"You're hurt, it went right through."�

"I'll survive."� He
looked over his shoulder at her and he smiled her way.

She blinked for a
moment seeing his face. "�He really is attractive, why do I keep running from
him?'

She let out a cry as
the red energy stream shot out again and he pushed her to the ground the beam
narrowly avoiding them.

Raido looked up at him
and she turned her head to the side to try to hide the blush when she found
herself staring in to the face of a dead demon, blood caked on the side of his
face. She let out a scream and Gojyo pulled her up and she looked at him.
"C'mon priestess we have to move and now!"� He pulled her along as they pushed
through the clearing that had turned in to hundreds of demon bodies piling upon
each other.

"I don't know half of
these demons"�"� She felt a hand flick at her hair and she grabbed on to Gojyo
tighter not willing to let go.

"These are my kills."�
She heard the voice of her stepfather.

They pushed through the
trees and they both stopped seeing the pathway and grass no more just bodies
and more bodies of murdered demons, even families of them children included.

"Gojyo"�"� She looked at
him.

"This guy is a monster,
there has to be over a thousand here for sure"�"� He looked at her.

"And your next!"� The
voice called.

Gojyo pushed her to the
ground and she watched as the beam shot through his chest and she let out a
scream as he fell forward, she looked at him and he placed his hand on hers.
"Get out of here priestess"� go."�

"Gojyo."�

"GO!"� He shouted.

She jumped back
startled and began pushing her way through the bodies and she felt some of them
moving their hands scraping against her legs cutting her and tearing at her
skin begging and crying to release from their pain.

"I can't"� I can't."� She
looked over her shoulder to see her stepfather pushing through the bodies and
he grinned at her. "Damnit"�"�

She saw it in the
distance the gate of her meadow and she continued to shove towards the area of
safety.

"I'm nearly there"� this
is just a dream I get there I can wake up and he'll be okay. Gojyo will be
fine."� She told herself and she touched the handle of the gate pulling it open
then running inside shutting the gate her step father appearing at the gate
door.

"You think this will
stop me?"� He asked.

"Leave me alone!"� She
screamed at him and spun round to have him appear right in front of her, he
grabbed her by the arms and she looked up at him. "You're a demon you've become
that which you hate!"�

"Die."� he breathed.

"Hey priestess"�
priestess"�"�

She blinked for a moment
shocked, before her entire body jolted awake. She looked round the room and
Gojyo was sitting there on her bed looking at her worriedly and she wrapped her
arms round him startling him. "You're okay."�

Gojyo blinked and he
looked down at her. "You were having a nightmare priestess. You mentioned my
name in your dream honey, am I that scary?"�

Raido looked up at him.
"No your not, it was my step father, he was hunting"�"� She trailed off.

Gojyo just held her,
"He's not here priestess."�

"He killed you, and he was
about to kill me"�"�

Gojyo shook his head.
"Not on my shift priestess."�

She let out a sigh.

"You got some serious
demons in your closet honey, you gotta fight them sooner or later, or they
won't leave you alone."�

"I know"�"� She let her
headrest on his shoulder.

Gojyo pulled a
cigarette packet out of his pocket before placing one in his mouth and he
looked at her offering her one, she took it and he lit her smoke first then his
own.

"Listen I know you
don't want it, but I'll help you anyway possible."�

She pulled back from
him for a moment. "Any bet at a price though."� He just grinned at her she let
her head drop and she just sighed. "I knew it."�

"C'mon it won't be that
bad."�

"You once said you
wouldn't take a women whose heart wasn't in it."� She looked at him.

"Trust me honey if you
were worried about me in your dream it means what you and I know both, your
heart is in it."� Gojyo pushed some fringe from her face.

"�I guess he has got
a point, but I can't get to close to anyone, it's to dangerous they just end up
getting hurt.' She thought to herself.

"I know you mean well
Gojyo, but I can't it's for your safety that you don't get to close."� Raido
remarked.

He just touched the
side of her face. "Trust me honey Sanzo said the same thing and I don't listen
to his advice so what makes you think I'll listen to yours?"�

She blinked for a
moment and he leaned in close her face heated up suddenly and she closed her
eyes turning her head away and she felt the kiss on the side of her neck before
she pushed him back lightly. "Don't you make this really hard for me."�

Gojyo sat back and he
looked at her and she looked back at him. "Honey trust me I'm the one that
suppose to get hard."�

*WHACK*

"OW! Hey what was that
for?!"�

"I don't believe you!
You're as bad as Cyran you have no verbal decency what so ever!"� She snapped
waving her fan at him angrily.

"Man."� He rubbed his
head looking at her.

~*~*~*~

Cyran lent on the
windowsill looking outside at the dark night sky that had greeting them, and
she looked over at Sanzo, he was a lot more antisocial than he'd been in heaven
she remembered that, but reincarnation had done that to people, she'd seen the
changes in Dagas to Raido, they sort of still looked the same given the darker
red tone of Raido's hair to her counterpart, and the demon ears on Tejas and
long calf length pink hair from the waist length pink hair and friendly nature
to cute and cuddly. Kana to Vayu hadn't changed too much at all, she was still
as violent and as antisocial as ever, Cyran had to mentally agree with Vayu
though, the only thing that had changed about her was the respect she once had
for Homura.

"�It must have been
nice to restart life again, a whole new clean slate, nothing to worry about, no
being hunted down like she'd been for so long.' Cyran placed her head down
in her arm and her hand on the glass, the familiar pang that, they would still
come for her, seemed to cause her a great unease in her chest and she stood up
suddenly and looked at Sanzo.

"I know you don't want
my thanks but you're going to have it, because trust me, more will come for me
to drag me back up there, my family's friends are Gods who don't quit when it
came to the whims of my granfather."� Cyran stood over Sanzo and he looked up at
her.

He just gave her a
flat-eyed look. "You never give up do you?"�

She flicked her long
hair over her shoulder and Sanzo watched her wearily to see what she would pull
when she just smiled at him and placed a hand on his shoulder before crouching
to his sitting height.

"Konzen, I want to
thank you for helping me in heaven and I want to thank you for the Gods before.
If you're not like Gojyo or Hakkai, then this will just have to do."� She looked
him directly in his purple eyes. "Thank you, and I mean it."� She stood up and
walked to the door. "I'll leave you alone now, I'm going to drag the pixie and
her monkey boyfriend back here before they get lost."� She walked out of the
room shutting the door after her.

Sanzo just blinked for
a moment then the shock of her not pulling anything sexual on him settled in,
and then he just went back to reading his paper like nothing had ever happened.

Cyran walked down the
street and she passed the tavern and looked in the window. The trio inside
looked at her, and she smiled and winked at them. Before walking round the corner
to the candy store and walked inside. The man behind the counter was tying up a
plastic bag for Tejas and he handed her the bag and she smiled happily.

"Thank you mister!"� She
remarked.

"It's no problem young
lady, it's good to see that there is always someone out there that likes my
chocolate, even if you are just passing through."�

Tejas beamed at him
while Cyran just stood in the doorway. "You two ready to come back to the
hotel?"�

Goku turned round and
he smiled. "Yeah I think I'm getting tired."� He stretched.

Tejas blinked for a
moment and she just smiled. "Hokay Cyran."� She skipped from the store Goku
running out after her.

"Hey Tejas wait for
me!"�

"Catch me if you can!"�
She giggled.

Cyran smiled to the man
running the store this late and night and she gave him a bow. "Thank you for
putting up with them, I'm sorry if they troubled you."�

"It's no worries at
all, they're both still very young, and it's a pleasure to have such pleasant
people come through my store."�

Cyran just smiled.
"Well thank you again."� She left closing the door after her.

Cyran watched Tejas and
Goku chasing each other up and down and round in circles in the street and she
shook her head.

"�I'm going to miss
this Tejas, she's so carefree and innocent, and to have Laguz back will feel
extremely weird especially when there are slight physical differences too.'
She thought to herself.

Tejas let out a squeal
as Goku tackled her and she laughed waving at Cyran. "C'mon Cyran we'll race
you back to the hotel."�

Cyran laughed. "I can
get there before you blink so it's not a wise idea."�

"Ooooh you mean you're
really fast too?"� Goku asked. "Wow that's cool!"�

Cyran smiled. "Off you
two go, I'll catch up."�

"Hokay!"� Tejas smiled
and she looked at Goku. "Race you!"� She called out before jumping out from
under his tackle and racing off down the road. Goku laughed as he jumped up
giving chase after her.

Cyran stopped by the
tavern and she looked as the door opened and she smiled at Kougaiji. "At least
I still know you care."�

He glared at her. "What's
that suppose to mean?"�

"You gave her the money
for the chocolate didn't you?"� Cyran smiled at him.

"It's none of your
business."� Kougaiji replied.

Cyran waved her hand
about. "It's okay."�

"Let the Sanzo you
travel with know, that her and me have something to discuss, the next town
over."� Kougaiji replied.

Cyran just nodded.
"That's fine."� She lent up against a pillar and looked at Doku, "You got a
message for Gojyo, he is after all your younger brother?"� She asked.

"No message."� Doku
replied.

"I'll tell Hakkai hi
from you Yaone."� Cyran smiled.

Yaone blinked for a
moment then she smiled. "That's fine."�

Cyran waved to them as
she walked off.

~*~*~*~

The
Next Day

Hakkai finished packing
up Hakaryu and the jeep squawked as Fafnir pulled up. Tejas stuck her hands on
her hips.

"And where have you
been huh?"� She scolded her dragon.

"You really need to
train that thing."� Vayu remarked

"Raido's not driving
again is she?"� Cyran asked worriedly.

Raido just smiled. "You
don't like my driving?"�

"Oh hellllllll no."�
Cyran remarked.

"We're used to it."�
Tejas smiled. "Though there was that time she drove us off a cliff. That was
scary."�

"Hey well it was fogs
fault I couldn't see a thing."� Raido defended.

Gojyo slung an arm
round her shoulder. "Honey may I suggest you get your licence okay?"�

Raido looked at him and
smiled. "Well I will"� one day."�

Cyran face faulted.
"That makes me feel soooooo much better."�

Raido jumped behind the
driver's side. "Get in we're moving out."� She smiled.

Cyran let her head
drop. "Man."� She complained.

The two parties packed
up and headed out of the town finally after the three-day stop off.

~*~*~*~

Sunset"�

Cyran lent in between
the seats where Raido and Vayu sat in the front of their four-wheel drive and
she looked at Raido. "Hey can you pull up next to Hakkai for a moment I need to
ask him something?"�

Vayu shot her the
nastiest glare she could muster and it was nasty. "Oh relax you old prune I'm
not going to steal your man."� Cyran huffed.

Raido just smiled.
"Sure."� She replied as they pulled up next to Hakkai and he looked over at
them.

"Hey Hakkai I forgot to
ask before we left how far is it to the next town?"� Cyran called out.

Hakkai just smiled.
"Well when I checked a couple of days ago, it was three days away."�

"Oh man, so we're
camping out again?"� Gojyo let out a sigh.

"I'm afraid so."� Hakkai
replied.

"But I'm out of
chocolate."� Tejas whined.

"What you ate
everything you bought last night?"� Cyran looked at her.

"I was hungry."� Tejas
complained. "And I'm hungry."�

"Will you shut the hell
up about being hungry we're sick of it?!"� Vayu went to whack Tejas with the
mace when she dove behind Cyran.

"Hey don't hide behind
me!"� Cyran protested.

Raido caught the handle
of the mace and she smiled at Vayu. "Now don't shift the weight of the jeep we
don't want it to topple over."�

Vayu just grumbled
something incoherent to the rest of them.

"She's so mean, make
her stop Raido."� Tejas sniffed.

Raido blinked for a
moment and she sighed. "You shouldn't have eaten all of that chocolate you'll
make yourself sick, I feel sick just thinking about it."�

"No chocolate for three
days will make me sick."� Tejas complained curling up on the backseat in to a
tight little ball.

"Maybe she'll die and
we can travel partially in peace."� Vayu offered.

Cyran looked as they
cleared the top of the mountain and at the bottom were a set of lights, like
that of a village.

"Hey hey hey!"� She
pointed. "Look!"�

Hakkai blinked for a
moment. "How odd, I'm sure there wasn't a village or town for three days."�

Raido looked at the
village confused for a moment. "Well I say we get there ask a few questions and
find out where we are. Unless the men don't want to admit we're lost and have
been side tracked somehow."�

Gojyo looked at Raido
unimpressed. "Hey we're been doing this a little longer than you honey."�

"Actually technically
Gojyo, Raido has been travelling longer than we have, she's been travelling
since before we first saw her."� Hakkai pointed out.

"Maybe you got us lost
then honey."� Gojyo teased.

"Doubt it."� She smiled.
"I've been following you guys."�

"Lets just find out
where the hell we are okay?"� Vayu interrupted.

~*~*~*~

"Chocolate!"� Tejas
raced from the jeep and Raido sighed before looking at the other two of their
travelling party.

"Hey I chased her last
time."� Cyran remarked.

"If you even hint it,
I'll kill you."� Vayu added.

Raido rubbed the back
of her neck. "Fine I guess it's my turn."�

"You want any company?"�
Goku asked.

Raido blinked at the
offer. "Goku I'm pretty much flat broke I can't afford to get you anything to
eat."�

He just smiled. "No
although now you mention it I am hungry. But Tejas is my friend, so we can
bring her back together okay?"�

Raido shrugged. "Can't
hurt."�

"Vayu get us some rooms
for the night and send Fafnir our way once you have and let us know what room
and hotel it is."� Raido remarked.

"Yeah sure. But you
better pay me back."� Vayu remarked.

"I will"� just give me a
few years."� Raido smiled as she headed off Goku following.

Cyran looked at Vayu,
then to Gojyo, Hakkai and Sanzo. "Well lead the way boys since your soooooo
good at directions."� She drawled.

"Don't test me."� Sanzo
warned.

"Oh baby I'd like to."�
Cyran grinned.

*WHOMP*

"Shut
up will you!"� Vayu snapped.

Gojyo looked at her as
she put her tonfa's away and Cyran rubbed her head. "You are such a grouch."�

"Do you wanna die,
because I'm a Goddess and you're a Goddess and trust me I know how to kill
you."� Vayu warned.

Cyran just huffed.
"Just keep that to yourself will you."�

Hakkai just smiled.
"Well then I think over there looks like it's a good place to start asking
about rooms for the night."�

~*~*~*~

Several figures watched
the two parties as they were split up in to three parts from the shadows.

"Excellent they've been
separated for now, someone's got to get Goku away from Raido so Lord Kougaiji
can have a word with her"�"�

"Be careful now, my
younger brother can sense our kind, any bet he knows we're here."� A familiar
voice spoke from within the group.

"Dokugakuji how do you
know?"� One of the demons asked.

"I know my younger
brother."� He just replied.

~*~*~*~

Raido stepped round the
corner and she let out a sigh as a pink flash zipped round the next corner.
"I'm getting to old to be chasing her like a child."� She complained.

Goku looked at her and
he just smiled. "She's pretty fast isn't she? Tomorrow night we get to spar for
the first time and I'm really excited."�

"It'll be interesting
for me too, I've never seen her fight until she came to help me out, but I know
even then that wasn't even a quarter of her power."� Raido replied.

"Oh wow so she's even
stronger than that?! I can't wait!!"� Goku exclaimed.

Raido rubbed the back
of her neck. "Oh boy you're sure excited easily."�

Goku just grinned. "I
love a good fight. I can't help it."�

"Gets the juices
flowing and the blood pumped huh?"� She smiled.

Goku looked at Raido
again. "It's more than that, I'm not sure you'd understand."�

"I believe it's called
adrenaline."� She smiled. "I've spent my entire life fighting demons, after a
while it grows old and boring, I like peace and quiet gives the mind time to

Goku just blinked. "So
you don't want to get stronger?"�

"I'm three quarters
human, I don't think there is a stronger for me, my demon part is so deeply
dormant that I wouldn't have a clue how to access it, and if I did I'm worried
about how powerful it is."� She looked at him before tapping the beaded bracelet
on her wrist. "Like you and Hakkai I wear this, it's my power limiter, without
it, my grandfather was afraid that the scripture he carried before passing it
on to me would kill me."�

A Sanzo priest with a
power limiter, that's so cool, can you take it off?"� He asked.

Raido smiled and she
nodded. "Oh yeah, but I don't because it was a gift from my grandfather, the
closest thing he ever gave me that resembled any proper sort of family
heirloom, even if it is plastic jewellery."�

"SON GOKU!!! PREPARE
YOURSELF!!!"� A voice cried.

Goku blinked and three
or four demons jumped out from four corners surrounding them. Raido raised an
unimpressed eyebrow.

"Doesn't this get
boring for you?"� She asked.

"Oh hell no, it's my
training, it helps me become stronger, and that's what I'm going to get, so
just stand back and watch me kick some demon ass!"�

Raido shrugged before
diving in to her robes and pulling out her cigarette packet and a lighter,
flipping a cigarette out of the pack and in to her mouth she lit it up and
watched as Goku began to fight the demons.

Cyran sat at the table
of the room the mah jong game in front of her she was playing against the three
guys, while Vayu sat off to the side lounging sideways over a chair, the back
of her forearm covering her eyes and a cigarette in her mouth.

"Do you guys always
play mah jong?"� Cyran asked.

"It appears that ways."�
Vayu replied. "I prefer cards."�

"That cause you cheat."�
Gojyo remarked.

"Well you shouldn't
think so loud how many times do I have to tell you that."� Vayu replied.

Hakkai just smiled.
"You sure you don't want to join us Vayu."�

"Oh I suck at mah jong,
I have no idea where to start."� Vayu replied.

"How about you sit with
me and I show you?"� Hakkai offered.

Cyran snickered as she
saw Vayu blush red. "What's the matter? Scared?"�

"Ooooooh that's it I'm
not scared!!!"� Vayu jumped up and stalked over.

"Honey I give this to
you, you know how to push her buttons."� Gojyo chuckled.

"All the wrong ones
which means I'll give her the smack down if she doesn't shut up."�
