Tension High
Chapter 10: Tension High
Author’s Note: Sorry it took so long for me to update this fiction; I have not given up on it. I have several new ideas for the story, so it’s becoming more difficult to integrate them without changing the premise of this story. I have finally decided what to do about the baby’s situation. Sorry, you won’t find that out until later. The only spoiler that I will give you is that the baby’s situation changes drastically. I’d like to thank MidnightIcePrincess for helping me with this chapter! This is a very long chapter, so if you don’t have the endurance, skip over this one; the next one may or may not be a bit shorter. I can’t make any promises because I keep having epiphanies; and from those new ideas emerge. I will tell you this ahead of time (as a penance for being so late with my update); I’ve already decided that there will be a least four books in the “Coming Home” story. While I was waiting for my partner-in-crime’s ideas, I started working on the last book(weird I know) and I’ve come to the conclusion that it will be about either two or three chapters long. The web speak makes it bit easier for me to write the story; once I have one line, I can write two pages or more; please don’t think I’m trying be funny; you don’t even have to read it. I just like to include it because it reminds me of how I got started. Enough of me; it’s time to read the fiction.
Amy
cathaine@yahoo.com: Thank you for seeing the humor in Yuki’s rapping!
Nameless: Do I make you Randy?
GravitationInnocence: I’ll admit; it was weird for me to write it, but for this next chapter it’s perfect (well, that’s what Greg the Bunny thinks).
Jack Anonymous: You should definitely try it. I thought it was weird, but now I love it!
Em-chan15: Thanks so much for the review!
KagomeGirl021: Glad to have a new fan!
Ashen Phoenix: It’s not negative; I asked for constructive criticism didn’t I? In the future I will be sure to try and do that.
FioreSayonie: (sorry if it’s spelled wrong): Thanks so much for the mad love on Gurabiteshiyon! I hope that you will enjoy story even more!
SamuraiRin63: I appreciate your insights and I will take them into consideration; I love constructive criticism.
Patpat: Thank you for your support and bon chance avec French and Japanese!
fuzzybunnytoo: Thanks so much! This is my first story and you’ve probably seen it on Media miner, before my account was deleted or AdultFanficiton, or even Gurabiteshiyon.
Dark: I think that Murad made your skin beautiful.
Yuki; Shuichi; K: Aren’t you in the wrong story? This isn’t DNAngel. Go home because you’re not welcomed here!!
Dark: Fine; I’ll leave, but I’m taking her with me. You’ll be the laughing stock of Gravitation, Yuki. Krystle does not own any of us, or the song “Not Ready to Make Nice.” That song belongs to the Dixie Chicks. The only thing she owns is the idea for the story and all 12 volumes of the Gravitation manga. She also owns a copy of Gravitation Ex on her computer.
K: Hey! That’s my line!
“Shuichi, you are my life; the wind beneath my wings; and my escape. Will you marry me?”
“Is that a yes or a no?”
“Why is my head cold”, thought as he opened his amethyst eyes.
“I see you’ve finally decided to return to the land of the living,” the blonde remarked in an almost sardonic tone which betrayed the worry he felt.
“What are you talking about,” the petite vocalist asked as he shifted to a sitting position and pulled the cold (well, warm now thanks to his fever) off of his head.
“You’ve been out of it for two hours,” the novelist responded blankly.
“What? When did… Why did I…,’ the hyperactive teen responded frantically.
“Calm down. Now, in a more eloquent manner, ask your question or questions.”
“What happened and why have I been asleep?”
“Before I answer, let me ask you something. What is the last thing you recall doing?”
“Let’s see; I remember eating and afterwards, I attempted to get you to sing karaoke with me and then nothing.”
“Allow me to add color to your canvas. While you were trying to do that, you reached in my pocket and pulled out a small box and then you collapsed.”
“What was in the box?”
“That’s a secret. Anyway, I-,” started before he was cutoff again.
“I wanna know what was in the box!”
“That’s classified, so shut up and go back to sleep punk!”
“If you don’t feel like telling me that’s fine; but could you at least tell me what else happened,” Shindou asked bitterly.
“I won’t tell you because it’s obvious.”
“Well color me oblivious; for all I know, it could be the blue pill from the Matrix,” practically shouted.
(A/N: Those mood swings can be such a bitch or is it just Shindou acting like he normally does?)
“Where does he get this stuff?”
“Take this damn box since you’re so impatient,” clearly pissed off by Shuichi’s nagging.
“I’m not sure I wanna open it now,” Shuichi fired back as he turned his back on his lover.
“Why not,” the blonde shot back; curious to know why he suddenly changed his mind. That was the first thing he wanted to know when he first heard about it. He didn’t even care what caused him to pass out.
“Because….,”
He really didn’t have a reason; he was just being stubborn and acting childish about the matter. Most people (after bitching about something) are satisfied when they get their way, but not Shindou.
“Do you honestly believe that I would give you something that would endanger your life or the baby’s?”
Great, now his lover doesn’t trust him; that’s the last thing Eiri needed. He didn’t trust himself, especially after what happened with his first love: Yuki Kitazwa (A/N: If I have to tell you, then you are not a loyal Gravi fan.) And now Shuichi thought he was trying to hurt him too; what’s that all about?
“I didn’t say that.”
“That’s what you were implying.”
“Yuki, I-,”
Shuichi had tried to apologize for his actions, but Eiri cut him off before he could finish.
“Save it; I don’t want to hear any of your bull-shit! As a matter of fact, you’re sleeping alone tonight! Don’t bother me for the rest of the night!”
Eiri slammed the bedroom door and stormed into the living room and crashed on the sofa. Eiri’s hasty departure filled Shuichi with shame. How could he have so little trust in the man he loves?
“I might as well open it now.”
When he opened it, his guilt skyrocketed ten-fold. Inside the black box stat one of the most exquisite rings Shuichi had ever seen. It was a 24 carat white gold ring accentuated with three stones: a sapphire one the left; a ruby on the right; and in the middle sat an amethyst. Crystal diamonds poured from his eyes until he eventually fell asleep. While he was sleeping all he could think of was the fight he and Eiri had and that prevented him from having a peaceful night’s sleep. It was watching SuperBowl 41; especially with all the replays his mind played.
8 hours later, Shuichi woke up; took a shower; got dressed; and prepared to leave for work. Before leaving, he wrote a letter for Eiri to read and sent a text message to Hiro.
“Hey, Hiro, guess what? Yuki & I r getting engaged! ^_^”
“That’s gr8, Shu! Want 2 go shopping 4 ur wedding?”
“Yea! Let’s go b4 work! Where do u want 2 meet?”
“Macy’s n Shibuya.”
“That’s a bit far doncha think?”
“I understand ur concern; but u won’t b swamped w/ fans & we could shop n peace.”
“Good point. I’m on my way right now. C ya n an hr. ^_^”
“K bye. Hurry and get out here because I can’t wait to see the look of horror on your face as I take you down.”
30 minutes later, novelist Eiri Yuki arose; took a shower and began to work on a new book entitled, “Storming Seas.”(1) Before he started typing he picked up a letter that Shuichi had left on his laptop.
Dear Yuki,
I am sorry for the way I behaved last night. I didn’t mean to accuse you of such horrible things. You were right; anyone with half a brain could have figured out what was in that box. I am an idiot; but I hope that you will find it in your heart to forgive me. If you were asking, I gladly accept. I love you and I always will.
Love,
Shuichi
Forgive, sounds good
Forget, I'm not sure I could
They say time heals everything
But I'm still waiting
I'm through with doubt
There's nothing left for me to figure out
I've paid a price
And I'll keep paying
I'm not ready to make nice
I'm not ready to back down
I'm still mad as hell and
I don't have time to go round and round and round
It's too late to make it right
I probably wouldn't if I could
'Cause I'm mad as hell
“That was the most pathetic apology that I’ve ever read. If he thinks he’s off the hook; he’s got another thing coming. I don’t have time for this bull shit right now. I need to finish this next novel in three week. I have no time for his foolishness.”
With that in mind, Eiri began typing immediately because he didn’t want that screeching banshee (Téa) pestering or rushing him. 30 minutes later, Shindou arrived at the designated location, but he didn’t see Hiro around; so he decided to call him and let him know that he had arrived.
“Hey Hiro, it’s me Shuichi; where are you?”
“I’m at the studio, why?”
“You said you’d meet me here in Shibuya.”
“What are you talking about,” Hiro asked clearly confused by what his band mate had just stated.
“Don’t act dumb. I sent you several text messages this morning and you responded to all of them.”
“I’m not. I have no record of any from you or anyone else.”
“I know I sent you a message or two.”
“Check the number you sent it to.”
“Opps! Sorry man; I sent those to an unknown number.”
“You idiot! You didn’t take the time to make sure the number was correct?”
“I already feel like a moron; please don’t make it worse. But if I wasn’t talking to you…then who was…,” the vocalist was cutoff by a mysterious voice before he could complete his last sentence.
“After three long years of waiting and planning, I, Taki Aizawa, former lead singer of ASK, will extract my revenge,” came a sinister response which almost caused Shindou to jump out of his skin.
“Ai--…,” was all Shuichi managed to stammer out before Aizawa punched him. The force of the blow caused Shindou to fall on his knees clutching his stomach.
“That’s it; bow before your new master,” Aizawa spat in a menacing tone.
“Shuichi! What’s going on? Are you okay,” the redhead asked with a touch of fear in his voice.
“You won’t need this anymore,” the tall and lanky man stated as he slammed the pink haired vocalist’s phone down on the concrete.
Crackle…crackle…crackle.
Before Shuichi could catch his breath to speak, Aizawa took out some duct tape and rope. First he taped the young pop star’s mouth (in order to prevent him from screaming for help.) Then he tied him to the inside of a car he had waiting for him. After fastening Shindou’s seatbelt, Aizawa took off in his cobalt blue Escalade.
“Hello; are you there?”
Hiro attempted to draw some kind of response from the now dead line, but to no avail. Suguru came in a few seconds later and noticed that Hiro was shaken up about something and so he decided to ask what was bothering him. It scared him a little because normally Hiro is the calm, and collected one in the band.
“What’s wrong love?”
“I think Shuichi’s been kidnapped.”
“By whom?”
“I’m not sure; I couldn’t make out the last thing he said before the phone went dead; but I have a sneaky suspicion that he’s in serious trouble.”
“How are we going to explain this to K and Sakano?”
“We can’t inform Sakano of this development or he’ll try to hang himself again (1); or he might even have a heart attack. I think it would be wise to alert K because he’s on his way to retrieve Shuichi as we speak.”
“Good idea; I’ll get on that right away.”
Meanwhile, Aizawa began to make his getaway since he had his target restrained and he was sure that no one had seen him. He had taken some extra precautions in order to ensure he was not seen or heard; one of those methods included having his long-time friend (actually he was more of a pawn in this stage of his plan) drive them to a remote location that only Aizawa and Ernie knew about. I bet you’re wondering how these two met right?
Well, after being pushed in front of a moving car(by Tohma) and ending up in the hospital, Taki decided that one day he would have his revenge on all the people who worked for N-G, especially a certain pink-haired singer. However, he would have to allow some time to pass before he attempted to strike again, or his plan would fail before it began. Within 10 days he was released from that hospital; after he left he began searching for a new place to live since he couldn’t afford to live in the house he bought when he was famous.
He walked for three blocks and he came across a building that was both classy and discreet (it was similar to the Marriot), so he decided to check it out. When he entered the building, he saw an old man passed out on the floor. No one thought much of him; in their eyes he was just some drunkard who’d just passed out on the floor of the Tabitha Hotel. Unbeknownst to them, the old man had a fever and needed to be treated immediately. Normally, Taki would have just walked by, but he figured that he could have some use for this man in the future. So, he posed as his nephew and went to check in. The woman at the reception desk looked at him rather oddly; she had no idea that “Old Man” Ernie (that’s what everyone called him aback then) had any living relatives.
“Hello, miss,” Taki stated innocently, “my Uncle Ernie isn’t feeling too well today and I was wondering if you could tell me which room he stays in. I’m on vacation and I wished to see him one last time before I go.”
It’s a good thing that the receptionist was too dim to figure out that she’d just been feed a plate of horse manure; otherwise Aizawa would’ve been screwed(to say the very least). She handed him a copy of the key his “uncle” had and directed him to the penthouse suite. Aizawa thanked her and headed upstairs carrying the old man on his shoulders (A/N: the old guy is very petite).
When he entered the suite, he was in awe; this wasn’t the type of place you’d typically find an older person living in, unless they rich. The place had two bedrooms; two bathrooms; and a balcony which provided a magnificent view of the city. Marble floors; a Jacuzzi tub; and a cherry wood fireplace; and the size of the room made this place seem like a Hollywood mansion. The kitchen was furnished with everything a person could possibly fit in. It came with a microwave; stove; coffeemaker; garbage disposal; dishwasher; and a top of the line refrigerator with all the trimmings; it even had an ice maker.
The front room (or living room; whatever you wanna call it) had a 20’’ Plasma television mounted on the wall and a Playstation 3 hooked into it. One marble table sat in between the couch and the tube; it was adorned with a 100 glass figurines of anime and video game characters. His favorites were Usagi Tsukino (aka Sailor Moon) and Daxter (from Jak and Daxter for the PS2 console); that was easy to see because they were the biggest.
“So, this old geezer is loaded? One day that wealth will belong to me,” Taki thought greedily.
Until that time came, Aizawa decided to nurse the elderly man back to normal. Aizawa took him into one of the bedrooms and laid him in the bed; then he checked his temperature. Ernie had a fever of 103.5 degrees according to the thermometer. He knew he had to act fast or the old coot would be in a world of trouble, so he prepared a cold bath for the gentleman in the hopes of bringing down his temperature. Ernie began to stir while Aizawa was running the water; he could hear the tub filling with water and wondered if he’d left the water on again. With this in mind, he rose and went to shut off the water, but what he saw when he entered the bathroom, shocked him. He became a little scared, because he didn’t know what this mysterious man wanted with him.
“Who are you and what do you want?”
“Oh so, you’re awake are you? My name is Taki Aizawa and I have been taking care of you ever since you collapsed in the hotel lobby. You’re running a fever and so, I decided to run you a bath so that your fever would break.”
“There’s no need for that; I have some Tylenol in my pocket. My job requires that I carry at least one with me.”
“What do you do?”
“I’m a chauffer and sometimes those clients give me migraines, so I make sure to bring alone some kind of aspirin. If you would be so kind as to fetch me a cup of water so that I can swallow this pill; I would be grateful.”
The young man did what was asked and soon found himself being questioned once more by this stranger that he helped.
“So, tell me, where are you from and what are you doing in a place like this?”
The younger man knew however, he could not tell the old man the truth because then his plans would fall apart; so he decided to deceive Ernie. Wouldn’t be anything new for Aizawa; his life is built on deception. The only honest thing he’d done is telling people his name.
“I had come to visit my sister Serena, because the last time I saw her was when we were children. Our parents got into a drunken brawl one night and each took one child with them. A drunk driver ran into me and I ended up in the hospital; I had to stay for a total of 10 ten days. Today was my final day; so, I decided to stay in a hotel since my car had been totaled in the wreck.”
“My, that sounds absolutely horrible; I’m glad you’re still in one piece,” the old coot responded before swallowing the pill,” say, young blood, would you like to stay with me for a while? It’s the least I could do for you.”
“Well, since I’ll be stuck here for a while, why not?”
“Make yourself at home; and if you ever need something, please don’t hesitate to ask me.”
“Thanks.”
Every since that day; Ernie and Taki had been like tow peas in a pod; you could almost say they were father and son. In fact, they even bought a home to spend quality time together during the winter and that’s where Aizawa was taking his victim (A/N: let’s you know how much he cared about that house doesn’t it?).
“Take me and my guest to Blue Ridge Manor; my good man.”
“Right away sir; but might I ask you a question,” somehow Ernie felt that this was unnecessary; when he looked over at Shindou.
“What’s on your mind?”
“I noticed you have restraints on this young man; why have you done such a deplorable thing?”
“His sister and I are very close and we thought that since his birthday was coming up, we should throw him a party.”
“That didn’t answer my question.”
“You didn’t let me finish,” Aizawa quickly spat.
“A thousand pardons, sir.”
“Shuichi never comes to see us because he believes his sister made a mistake marrying me. Therefore; he can’t stand the sight of me. By doing this, my wife and I hope he will become more comfortable around me and visit us more often.”
“That explains a lot,” Ernie thought as he looked over at the boy straining to get free.
“Foolish old man; you’d believe anything I say; and that’s precisely why I keep you around.”
“You dumbass! How could you buy that bogus story? He doesn’t even know what my sister’s name is. If I weren’t tied up, I’d break the window just so, that I could take that broken glass and split you from head to toe and gut you. Yuki; please help me.”
“Here we are gentlemen; have a nice day.”
“We will; see ya later Ernie.”
While Aizawa was saying his goodbyes to Ernie, Shindou attempted to make a break for it. Unfortunately, he tripped and fell; so he sat there wincing in pain because whatever caused him to fall also caused him to twist his ankle. When Ernie was out of sight, Aizawa turned to the vocalist and noticed Shindou’s pained expression.
“You weren’t trying to run away were ya princess? Tough luck; you have shackles around your feet. Surely you didn’t think it would be that easy to escape me did you?”
“So that’s what these things are; damn I wish that he was stupid enough to let me loose.”
“I expected that you might try something like this, so while I was untying you, I slipped these on to prevent your premature escape; because you attempted it anyway; I think that I’ll have to punish you a little before we go inside.”
“He must be an even bigger idiot than me; even if I can’t scream, someone will see this and report it.”
“Why do your eyes reflect such a cool demeanor? Is it because you think someone will see me? Sorry, that’s not the case junior.”
“Junior; and what does he mean by that?”
“This is an abandoned neighborhood; no one has lived in this area for several decades.”
Shindou’s eyes widened at that remark and within a matter of seconds he found himself hunched over desperately trying to catch his breath. It seemed his ribcage was Aizawa’s favorite target. The psychopath didn’t stop there. His blood lust wouldn’t allow him to do so; he couldn’t wait to inflict irreversible damage on his young target. This was the beginning of the end for the young vocalist and there was nothing he could do except take the pain and hope that his tormenter would grow tired of him and release him.
Sharp pain coursed through his head as he was pulled up by his hair. Meeting Aizawa’s gaze he felt sick, the bastard was enjoying it and it was clearly showing. The hand harshly gripping his hair moved so that it was gripping his shoulder. Before Shindou had a chance to question what he was doing Aizawa slammed his fist into the pink haired boy’s ribcage again. He was rewarded with a pained grunt and expression from his prey. This was going to be wonderful and it was only just beginning. Aizawa looked down at Shuichi and smiled, he was so hopeless it was almost too easy.
Aizawa then hoisted him over his shoulder and walked into the building. “You and I are going to have some fun tonight.” Aizawa chuckled to himself. “Well, I will anyway.” The pink haired boy struggled as Aizawa started walking further into the building. It began to rain as Aizawa’s dragged Shuichi around the cold, desolate house. It was almost as if the heavens were weeping for the fate that lay ahead for the unfortunate vocalist and unborn child and from what Shuichi could see, Aizawa had told the truth; the place was abandoned.
Suddenly he was dropped, falling backward from Aizawa’s shoulder. Trying to sit up his eyes widened with fear when he saw the way his captor was looking at him. This was not good. What was he going to do? He’d have to fight; the worse that could happen would be him lying in a hospital right? Thoughts of the baby came into his mind and he felt fear that made every other time he’d felt afraid pale in comparison. His and Yuki's baby, he couldn’t let anything happen to it.
Aizawa surveyed his little captive, enjoying his struggling; and then watching the fear pass over his eyes. He was glad to see fear however his joy diminished when the look on the younger boys face changed. Fear was still clearly written on his face but this was different; this was more intense. Turning around Aizawa walked back to the door to lock it; even though he knew that it was unnecessary. The whole time he walked to the door and back to the makeshift bed he was thinking of ways to find out what had caused that such strong trepidation within Shindou.
'Hm what should I do? Rape? Beat? Torture?' all good options in his opinion but that was mostly what he already had planned. He didn’t know why he cared so much; it wasn’t like he needed to know how to ruin Shindou’s life; he was already going to do that. Stopping back next to the "bed”; he looked down into his prey’s eyes.
"What? Am I not your type?"
Without warning he pulled Shindou up to meet him halfway and glared at the boy.
"Shall we get started Mr. Shindou?"
Pulling the gag away from his lips and crushed his lips against the others; forcing his tongue inside his mouth. He couldn’t help but feel a bit disappointed when the boy below him didn’t fight back.
Tears streamed down Shindou’s face as Aizawa entered him roughly. Pain racked his body. He pulled out and slammed back inside, quickly putting on a rhythmic pounding. It didn't take long for Aizawa to find his release and he pulled out his member, not caring if the pink haired boy came, or if he was in pain. Shindou cried silently grateful when the other walked out of the room.
“Yuki,” he whimpered softly, hoping the other would come find him. His hand trailed down to his stomach lightly caressing it through his shirt. Slowly his eyes drifted shut. Shindou opened his eyes and was met with Aizawa’s hard member.
"It’s time to put that pretty little mouth of yours to work," he hissed roughly shoving his erection in Shindou’s face. Hesitantly he did as he was told; hating that he couldn’t do much more then comply. Aizawa let out a harsh groan as he came into Shuichi's mouth causing the other to gag. After he finished cumming in Shuichi’s mouth, he went into the bathroom to get cleaned up. Shindou, on the other hand, attempted to escape, but every time he tried to sit up, razor like pain shot through him.
Those shots to his abdomen had finally taken their toll on the petite singer; this however, did not discourage him. He knew he had to escape for the baby’s sake at least. After the fifth time of trying to rise, he was successful. Unfortunately, Aizawa had just come out of the lavatory and prevented his escape by jabbing him in ribs again. This time, a cracking noise was heard.
“Looks, like I broke one of your ribs; sorry,” Aizawa spat sarcastically.
Once again the pink-haired vocalist collapsed; he coughed up blood several times. Inside, he wondered what else the crazy lunatic had in store for him; but at the same time, he didn’t want to know. Like Hitomi from Escaflowne, he wished that he could just fade away; so that he could break away from this hell-hole. Sadly, what the tall, psychotic, fiend heard wasn’t the sound of a bone breaking; it was actually three ribs cracking. Now Shindou was in real trouble; one false move and he could pierce one of his lungs. If he bit the bullet, the baby was doomed.
It seemed as though Fate had fun torturing the vocalist on this particular day, because Aizawa was not finished with him yet. Taki was determined to force the vocalist to beg for mercy; though Shindou would not be granted any. The sound of Shindou’s bones-breaking had suddenly become appealing to him, so he stopped to think about which one he would sever next. In a matter of seconds he decided to do like the woman from his favorite movie Misery (2). He went searching for a wood block and a sledgehammer; but to no avail. Since he couldn’t find either one, he elected to beat the daylights out of Shindou. He pounded the petite singer’s face until his hands hurt. When he got through; the vocalist was nothing more than a blue and black bloody mess. Shuichi was totally messed up; his nose was broken and his jaws were swollen. He couldn’t breathe out of his nose due to the fracture and when he tried to get some air into his lungs, he just coughed up blood again. It continued to rain, with thunder and lightning joining in.
The heavens must have had enough, because a strange sound echoed throughout the house prompting the insane man to halt. He wanted to know what that sound was; Taki had been here one week ago plotting this revenge and he knew that there was no one around for miles. But, why then, was he hearing a voice? Had someone followed him without his knowledge? Shuichi would have breathed a sigh of relief if it didn’t cause him so much pain to do so.
“Don’t go anywhere princess,” Aizawa said smugly as he left the room.
With every step Taki took forward, the sound increased in volume. The path he walked down the house seemed to be the same as the one he took on the way in. Pretty soon, he was close enough to recognize the sound.
“Shuichi, are you there? Please respond; this is Hiro.”
He realized that sound might have been coming from the Kumagoro backpack that that pink-haired nuisance was wearing. Then it hit him, Shuichi’s friends might be tracking him. He knew that he had to flee, but he was reluctant to leave because he felt his revenge was still incomplete. However, he knew that if he was found in the same room with the victim, K would kill him on the spot; then he’d never be able to finish exacting his vengeance. Before leaving, he went back into the room containing his victim and left him with one final message.
“Hey princess,” Aizawa said in a sadistically sweet voice,” I have to go, but this is far from over.”
Aizawa kissed his prey and then made his departure. Rather than using the front door, he elected to break one of the windows and jump out because he felt that exiting out the front was too obvious. Five minutes later, He saw a stocky-gun toting American; a tall, crimson haired man; and a short, but petite man running toward the building confirming his suspicions. Figuring that he didn’t have long before he was being pursed by these individuals, Aizawa fled to the nearest town and called Ernie. There was no way he could escape those three on his own and he needed somewhere to stay until this all blew over.
K; Hiro; and Suguru, on the other hand, went exploring the house; according to Shuichi’s tracker he was inside, but in which room? They followed the marker in on the radar hoping to find him, but when they came upon the Kumagoro backpack he wore daily, they knew something was wrong. Since he wasn’t in the living room like the radar indicated, they split up and began searching the house for the petite vocalist. Hiro found the ill-fated pop star and nearly hurled. The room was filled with the smell of sex and there inside laid a black and blue, bloody mess. Hiro wasted no time in alerting the others of his discovery. When K and Suguru entered the room, they were disgusted at the sight before them, but they realized that Shindou required treatment or he might die here. Therefore, K sent for one of his most dependable colleagues, Ark, in order to ensure Shindou was taken to the nearest hospital without the press finding out; then he called Tohma to inform him of this crisis.
“Hello, Tohma; this is K; we’ve got a situation.”
“Have the guys been over run with fans,” Tohma teased.
“Boss this is serious,” K responded in a more serious, yet worried tone of voice.
“What’s the problem,” Tohma asked with a touch of worry filling his voice. He never received calls from K, unless it was about publicity and so for him to call frightened the president.
“I don’t know how to say this, but Shuichi was kidnapped and his abductor left him in very bad condition. At this point, I can’t say whether he will live or die. I don’t even have a clue as to who would want to harm him like this. He can barely breathe; his entire face is swollen; his right ankle his twisted; and I believe he might have some broken bones. If we’d been any later, he would have been dead. I have instructed Ark to take him to the hospital; so at this moment he’s being looked at.”
“This is most troubling, but I have a guess as to who might have committed such unspeakable actions. Can I call you back later? I have to take care of something.”
After chatting with his employee, it was obvious what Tohma had to do and as much as it pained him to do so, he took out his cell and called his brother-in-law. He deserved to know right? Besides, if he’d found out any other way; Eiri would kill Tohma for not informing him of this the moment he found out. Eiri was just about to finish the last page of his book, when the phone rang and broke his concentration. The novelist checked the caller id and it read Seguchi, Tohma; so, he picked up the receiver secretly praying that he hadn’t called to mess around like he normally does.
“Seguchi, what do you want now? I was on the last page of my new book!”
“I’ve some bad news concerning your other half.”
“What’s he done this time,” Eiri asked sarcastically. He probably did something annoying (like usual) and ticked off Tohma.
“I don’t know how to say this but…Shindou’s been…,” Tohma could barely speak; this had shaken him up more than he’d care to admit. He’d never admit this, but Shindou had grown on him.
“What? Out with it man! What happened to him?”
Eiri’s patience was dwindling by the second and he just wanted to know what was so dreadful that Tohma couldn’t speak without sounding like he had a speech impediment. It took a minute for the president to muster up the courage to inform his brother-in-law of the news that he’d received from K.
“Shindou was kidnapped and the perpetrator had their way with him and due to the rough treatment that was inflicted upon him, he’s on his way to the hospital as we speak. Before, you ask, this is not a joke.”
Silence emitted after Tohma spoke and after a couple of minutes Eiri made it known that he was still on the other line.
“Tohma,” Eiri responded in an eerily calm and controlled tone,” take me to him.”
“I’ll be over in a minute.”
Meanwhile, Ark, had just arrived at Blue Trinity United Hospital and rushed (he went as fast he could without jostling the boy too much) to the reception desk. An elderly woman sat at the front and she noticed the muscular gentleman carrying a near death man. When Ark got close enough, she immediately summoned doctors from the intensive care department to take care of the petite individual. Once the vocalist taken care of, the woman asked Ark several questions like: who was the young man and what happened to him; also, what was his relationship with the other guy.
“Good evening ma’am; my name is Ark. I’m a friend of the patient, but I can’t tell you what happened to him due to the fact that I found him in this condition only 30 minutes earlier.”
“And where did you find him?”
“In an abandoned house called Blue Ridge Manor.”
“I see. Do you have any ideas as to who might have done this?”
“No ma’am.”
“Okay; thank you for the information you provided us with; I’m going to have to remain in the waiting room until the patient has been stabilized.”
The first thing the doctors did was clean up the vocalist and changed him into a hospital gown. Next they took him into another room where he had an x-ray done on him; this way the physicians could see exactly how much damage had been done to Shindou. What they discovered as a result of the x-ray worried them. Three of his ribs were broken and so was his nose; one of his lungs had been pierced; which explains why it pained him to breathe. Within a period of four hours, Shindou was patched up and hooked up to a respirator in order to make it easier for him to breathe. After the surgery was complete, one of the doctors noticed something strange on the x-ray scan; there was a small lump (or so they thought) was near his abdomen. None of these doctors had seen anything like this before, so they called the most experienced doctor in the business: Dr. Andrew.
Luckily for those guys, he’d just completed his last operation for the night and was free. Dr. Andrew came in to check out the cause of the commotion and to figure out what this mysterious lump was, but he was not prepared for the sight before him. Before he went into the x-ray room, he wanted to see who the patient was and if they were familiar to him. However, he never expected to see his friend lying there; but maybe the “lump” that appeared on the scans was the life growing inside of the vocalist. The doc was convinced that the unborn child was causing the problem for the other doctors; so he decided to do a sonogram scan on the patient. It showed that the unborn child had survived the beating that Shindou received. However, something had to been done if the child was to survive. It couldn’t grow properly without causing complications for the petite vocalist. The doc had considered abortion, but he wouldn’t go through with it unless Eiri (since Shindou’s out of commission) approved of it.
Dr. Andrew left the patient’s room and headed towards the waiting room with the hopes of seeing his other favorite patient so that he could discuss the future of the unborn attempting to grow in the vocalist’s battered corpse. No one he recognized was in the room; only a big muscular guy with short black hair (it was similar to Jesse McCartney’s; sorry I don’t know much about hairstyles; makeup; etc.) wearing business attire.
“Maybe the others haven’t arrived yet,” thought the good doc.
He went back in the room and kept a close watch over Shindou while he awaited others’ arrival. In the back of his mind he wondered who did this and what their motivation was. Sure, Shindou can be annoying at times, but did he really deserve such treatment? A small mumble caught Andrew’s attention.
“Ai---…Aizawa; y…you son of a bitch,” the singer managed to utter before he passed out.
“Aizawa? Is he the one responsible for Shuichi’s injuries?”
While the doctor pondered this, a group of people rushed to the reception desk and asked for Shuichi Shindou. Within five minutes they were allowed into his room. Everyone except Yuki entered and when they saw the condition of their friend, tears poured out of their eyes. Eiri, didn’t want to anyone to see him crying and plus he was emotionally unstable which could have been a problem for the others. Therefore, he made for the exit, but before he got to the exit; Andrew pulled him to the side.
“I know you’re in pain, but I need to ask you a serious question.”
“Shoot.”
“Well, as you’ve heard Shuichi’s in bad condition, but that’s the least of my worries since he’s been taken care of.”
“So, what’s the problem?”
“I’m worried about the safety of the unborn child; it can’t stay inside of Shindou while he’s healing.”
“Why not?”
“The baby’s going to be growing constantly, but Shindou will have to stay here for a month if his injuries are to heal properly; and his body may or may not be able to accommodate for the child. With that being said, what do you want to do?”
Before he could ask or answer any more questions, Tohma pulled him aside to discuss some news that he’d just received from his publisher.
“Eiri, I have more bad news.”
Krystle: I have to cut it off here because it’s getting to be too long and I’m running low on fuel. Leave helpful reviews; flames will be used to barbeque chicken for my bunny and I. I should be back with the next chapter next week; and yes, you can pelt me with tomatoes. I’ve kept you guys waiting long enough and now it’s time for you all to take revenge on my pathetic soul. That’s all folks! I’m about to listen to one of my favorite songs: “Falling Apart” by Zebrahead, so that I can come up with more new ideas concerning future chapters. *This next sentence applies to Gurabiteshiyon fans only.* I can't figure out how to use italics for this sight and the same goes for the bold feature. Sorry if you get thoughts mixed up with spoken dialogue.
(1)Does anyone know where that name came from? Hint: Storming_______
(2)You need to see this movie!
