DarkCrusnikMagician: LOL! :3 *hands you some tissues to dab your chin wif* Yeah, Tres has undergone a major overhaul. It's been forty years TOTAL since the day Alex gave him his lesson on the usage of "okay" vs. "affirmative". So, I figured he's grown a little since then. And I'm sorry, but if I had a hotbot, I would program dancing and sex. That's about it. Glad you enjoyed, you should hopefully enjoy this one just as much! Oh and don't worry about the bettas, they only live about 2-3 years and by the time you buy them in the store, they're already about a year old, so about a year is all you'll get! I got a female that matched Alucard >_< I have 15girls and 5 boys
Darkephoenix: Yeah I thought the dance moves might be kinda fun to work in. So wish I could dance. SOOOOOO wish I had a drool enducing hotbot. MmMmMmMmmmmm... talking thinking sextoy mmmMmMMmm... Anyway! That's for the praise! I'm having a little trouble writing Alucard because I'm not egotistical enough lately to write him >_< Hopefully I didn't burn too horribly this chapter enjoy!
Min: *dances with you* welcome back! I was wondering where you went *sniff* I will indeed be looking forward to your reveiws! Yeah, the kids are going to be adorable, but the Little One is the cutest yet. We haven't really heard much about the youngest child, so.... I'm going to have SUCH A FREAKING BLAST introing that character. Read and enjoy!
winterfrau: Nothing makes a good chapter like mayhem and sex, hmm? ;) I figured since Cain got rid of Alex and hasn't truly persued her for forty years, Isaak should prolly be kissing some ass, eh? So, I made him a needy little bitch because it amused me. He's not that way all around, of course. But, like he said, anything for Mein Herr ;) yeah, their first fight scene is coming up next and I'm going to have SO much fun writing it. Alucard's going to like... bathe, unnecessarily, in enemy blood. It's going to be harrowing. lol enjoy!
Retro Lamb: very nice! I haven't gotten any replies on the songs yet and I almost forgot about them! Yes, Pretty Baby by VC. Thanks for the compliments. read and enjoy!
The other songs were Time by Sarah McLachlan and Save Yourself by Stabbing Westward, neither of which I own or profit from, I dare you to sue me, I have $8 to my name :P
Chapter 8: Garden Party
Hugue had finished showering and walked into the bedroom wearing a simple pair of black pants, drying his long hair. He smiled at her, a weary look painting his features as he sat on the edge of the bed.
“Where are the boys?”
“Asleep down the hall.”
“Good. I suppose we should get to bed too. It’s rather late.” Hugue leaned in to give Alex her customary kiss on the cheek before bed, but Alex turned at the last moment, so their lips met in a soft kiss. When Hugue pulled away he looked at her quizzically, noting the flush that painted Alex’s cheeks.
“What is it, Chérie? Why are you flushed?” Hugue raised a hand to cup her cheek, a note of concern in his voice. Alex closed her eyes and leaned into his hand. Hugue’s expression shifted, becoming a little hungry as he watched his wife’s reaction.
“Hugue.” Alex turned and kissed his open palm, moving to his wrist, up his forearm.
“Yes, Chérie?”
“You have been so patient with me.” Hugue drew in a shaky breath and watched as Alex’s fingers danced up his arm, continuing the path her lips started, coming to rest on his chest. His wife scooted closer to him, pushing the sheets aside.
“Chérie, you don’t have to do this. I would be patient as long as you needed it.” Hugue closed his eyes, struggling to maintain his calm as her fingers began drifting again, tracing the jagged lines of his scars.
“We have been married almost a year and you have not asked me to be intimate. Do you... not want to be together?”
“Oh, Chérie.” Hugue pulled her close, nuzzling into her hair. “I have ached for you every night since our wedding day, since we left the Vatican, but I will not push you before you’re ready. We’ve got the rest of our lives, I can wait as long as you need.”
“You are... better than I deserve, Hugue.” Alex nuzzled into Hugue’s shoulder, sighing softly as she inhaled his scent.
“My love, you deserve the very best. I try my hardest to be the very best for you, Alexandra.”
“You have succeeded, Hugue.” Alex kissed him and Hugue abandoned himself to his kiss. It was quiet, yearning, tender, just like their first kiss. Alex threw her arms around his neck and had to remind herself not to crush him too hard. When Hugue pulled away for air, she almost chased after his lips. Alex leaned her forehead against his, trembling, tears burning the back of her eyes.
“I have wasted so much of our precious time dwelling on the pain caused by someone else. I punished the both of us for something that wasn’t our fault. I love you, Hugue. I want to be with you.”
“Alexandra.” Hugue made some small desperate noise as Alex slipped into his lap, her arms braced against their headboard. Hugue pulled her close, covering her collar bone in kisses, covering the tops of her breasts in kisses until he met the edge if her silk nighty. He slipped his hands up her thighs, lifting the fabric as he went, shuddering blissfully. Alex gasped softly as Hugue’s hands roamed over her sides, her abdomen, finally lifting the nighty over her head. She closed her eyes, her face burning as his hands caressed her breasts, her nipples hardening under his attentive fingers. Alex wrapped her arms around his neck, cradling his head against her chest. The blonde eagerly covered her breasts in kisses, his tongue caressing each nipple in turn.
“Hugue.” Alex moaned softly into his ear as his need bubbled to the surface, his ministrations becoming more heated. Sliding her out of his lap, Hugue laid her back on the bed, leaning over her to continue his treatment of her breasts, moving slowly down over her abdomen, her sides. Hugue got bolder as he moved along, nipping her skin, sucking softly until her muscles twitched under his lips. Alex threaded her fingers into his hair, her fingertips pressing gently into his scalp. As Hugue drew close to her sex, he covered her thighs with loving kisses, sitting up onto his knees, taking her with him. Alex wiggled a little until she found a comfortable way to settle, watching Hugue as he drew the flat of his tongue over her slick folds. She moaned outright at the delicious contact, the vulnerability of half dangling from his strong arms only adding to her growing desire.
Alex cried out as he rolled his tongue repeatedly over her clit, her years of disuse heightening her sensitivity amazingly. Hugue ate at her ravenously, plunging his tongue into her depths, only stopping when she cried out for him to stop. His green eyes focused on her own, glittering almost ferally in the low light of the room. Her thighs trembled as he held her, having been on the cusp of her completion when he pulled away. Alex sighed and melted into the mattress as Hugue set her hips back down. Alex smiled, taking hold of his painfully rigid sex, stroking him lovingly. Hugue moaned, thrusting into her hand. Alex repositioned herself, leaning over him, kissing his neck as she stroked him.
Alex kept her gaze locked on his face as she traced his scars with her tongue, her hand keeping its motion with his sex. Hugue closed his eyes, groaning softly as she continued, his skin flushing under her care. When Alex herself couldn’t take it anymore, she took his sex into her mouth in one smooth movement. Hugue moaned through gritted teeth, gathering a fistful of her hair. Alex whimpered softly against his sex, stoked by the sounds of pleasure that tumbled so freely from his lips. She moved against Hugue’s sex, sucking as she withdrew, running her tongue along the underside. Hugue let his head fall back, overcome with the pleasure of finally having his wife.
“Alexandra, please.” Hugue gasped, sitting up, attempting to cup her cheek with his hand.
“My love.” Alex pulled away and closed her eyes, nuzzling into his hand.
“Come here, Alexandra.” Hugue smiled at her and beckoned her to straddle him. She climbed over him, a heated gleam in her eyes. Bracing her hands against his chest, Alex lifted herself, sliding slowly, easily onto Hugue’s sex. Alex whimpered softly in mild discomfort, but soon forgot all about it in light of Hugue’s tight grip on her hips. Hugue looked up at her with a mixed expression, a curious combination of lust and love. Alex shuddered and began moving, watching his face contort in utter rapture as she moved against him. Hugue’s fingers danced up her spine, coaxing her to lean forward so he could bring her in for a searing kiss.
Alex was swept with another wave of disquiet, their love making causing familiar feelings of ecstacy to rise. Try as she might, she couldn’t dispel the memories of Cain and their gentle pairings, nor could she erase the tenderness his brother had shown her. As her anxiety peaked, so did her pleasure, and Alex found herself caught up in a dizzying cycle of unease and elation that ebbed and flowed with every thrust. Hugue, completely ignorant of the struggle in Alex’s mind, sought to please her in any way he could. He played her spine, watching her arch her back and groan piteously against his chest. When she sat up and braced herself against his chest once more, he fondled her breasts, paying special attention to her nipples. Alex moaned outright, sitting up straighter, feeling more in control, the farther she got from Hugue’s loving embrace.
The anxiety began to lessen as she slid into the final throws of her passion. Her movements steadied and she slipped into a tense silence, her face flushing beautifully. Hugue watched her curiously, slipping his fingers between their bodies to rub her clit gently. Alex gasped and loosed a loud sex cry, her muscles rhythmically gripping his sex as she climaxed. Hugue gripped her hips tightly, letting loose a cry of his own as he released deep within her wet warmth. Alex smiled languidly at her lover as she came down from her high. She slipped off to his side, playing with his loose curls, her nerves curiously electrified. She felt a great swell of love for her husband, though she couldn’t help but feel guilty for the feelings she still harbored for a silver haired priest.
Alex nuzzled into Hugue’s chest, her warm tears wetting his skin. He held her close, combing his fingers through her raven hair.
“Chérie, what’s wrong?”
“I’m just... overwhelmed.” Alex hadn’t lied, but she hadn’t divulged the entire truth, and as her thoughts dwelled on others, she cringed inwardly, hating herself for her own wandering emotions. She was devoted to Hugue, she would be forever loyal to Hugue, but she couldn’t erase Abel from her heart, nor his brother from her thoughts; one held an aching affection, the other a burning anger that festered into hatred. She wanted Hugue to be the only man that warranted her emotions, but he wasn’t, and Alex bit back the shame in secret, listening to Hugue’s deep even breathing as he drifted off to sleep, his arms wrapped protectively around her.
It had only been a couple of hours since Alex left their training session, and her arm still ached. She’d left, fully intending to feed, but found herself utterly unmotivated to hunt, and so took to the gardens, her favorite haunt. She’d let her thoughts drift back to the first night she’d been with Hugue, their overdue honeymoon. Even now, she was riddled with guilt over making him wait, for letting her lingering feelings for Abel keep her from her rightful husband. She could hear footsteps along the circular corridor that surrounded the massive garden, but didn’t bother to turn and see who it was. When the footsteps left the corridor and became a soft crunch on the grass at her back, she knew she had an audience. Alexandra still refused to acknowledge the presence at her back. She’d perched herself atop the gazebo, her knees drawn up to her chest, and the last thing she wanted was to entertain anyone.
“Not very hospitable, to ignore your guests.” Alucard had materialized at her right side and Alex didn’t even flinch.
“Your parlor tricks will not frighten me, Vampire.” Alucard grinned at her, leaning into her, closing the space between them.
“Oh no? Am I wrong to think you’re uncomfortable?”
“You flatter yourself. I couldn’t care less that you were here. You’re a minor annoyance at best.” Alucard scoffed.
“Based on the train of thought I broke, you must be more than a little annoyed.” Alex looked him full in the face, her eyes glittering angrily.
“You can’t bluff with me, you and I both know damn well that you couldn’t read my thoughts just now.”
“I don’t need to read them outright to know what you were thinking about. Or should I say who?” Alex considered him quietly, taking in his stance, trying to find a weakness.
“And just who do you think I was thinking about?” He leaned in, his lips brushing her ear, his cool breath caressing her ear. Alex kept her cool, refusing to acknowledge his teasing.
“It wouldn’t happen to be that silver haired priest, would it? Abel, was that his name?” Alex could hear the confidence in his reply, that insufferable grin on his face. Alex was quiet, and showed no outward signs of annoyance. Alucard quickly changed tactics. “Or perhaps it’s the android that catches your eye?” Alexandra laughed outright, standing, nearly knocking Alucard over.
“You’re out of your element here, D. You don’t know as much as you think you do.”
“Don’t I?” Alucard stood, again closing the gap, invading her space. He sought to push her closer to the edge, but Alex stood her ground. I know that there’s tension between you two. I know that, while you keep him at bay, you don’t seek to be rid of him altogether.”
“So, you’re observant and you want me to be frightened? You want me to start whimpering, my knees to start knocking together? I’m not some pathetic mortal here to entertain you, and I have dealt with far more frightening things than you.”
“Is that so? You think I’m here to frighten you?”
“You’re here to push my buttons, to get a rise out of me, because you get off on being invasive in any way you can.”
“Do go on.” Alucard grinned and Alex narrowed her eyes at him, scoffing under her breath.
“I know you’re type. You’re always looking for a fight, always looking for some glorious way to prove that you’re more powerful than previously thought.” Alex jumped off the gazebo, walking away as soon as she landed. Alucard materialized in front of her, cutting off her exit.
“Not very polite to turn cheek and run in the middle of a conversation. We’ll have to work on your manners.” Alex’s face remained cold, hard, but they both knew he was starting to win.
“There is nothing you can teach me.” In the next breath, Alucard had her pinned against a pillar of the gazebo, his nose tracing a line up her throat as he inhaled the scent of her blood.
“I’d wager I could teach you a thing or two.” Alucard’s tongue snaked out, bathing her skin in cold. Alex refused to shiver, turning her face away from his. “What is that exotic smell in your blood. I cannot discern what you are and it drives me mad.” Alex laughed outright and Alucard pulled away to look into her face.
“Want a taste?” Alucard narrowed his eyes at her, letting them glow a little in the dark of the garden. The hungry grin that spread across his face, exposing his fangs, reminded Alex all too keenly of a wolf.
“I thought you’d never ask.” Alucard gripped the nape of her neck, forcing her to bend and expose her throat. Alucard was struck by the smooth cold feeling of her skin, the paleness giving the impression of marble. He drew close to her slowly, inhaling her scent once more. The sound of her heartbeat was muted, her smell muted. Curiously, cautiously, he bit into her neck, only to find his progress impeded by the solidity of her flesh, the tips of his fangs barely making an impression. He drew away, baffled, though he grinned at her as though he’d expected it.
“So, we have a witch among us.”
“Not a witch, just another monster named Alex.”
“Ah, so you know Father Anderson.”
“I know of him. He is no more. He perished long before my time at the Vatican began.”
“So, where did you learn your tricks from? Some long line of witches and sorcerers?” Alucard considered her, a wonderful jibe coming to mind. “Or was that who you were out here thinking about, the one who taught you such lovely tricks? The one who made you what you are?”
Alex pulled her sais from their strapping at her back, tacking Alucard to the ground, a sai through each shoulder blade. Her face mere inches from his, she bared her dull teeth at him, almost growling in her anger. Alucard was caught off guard by speed, but far from hurt by her little attack, his face still cracked by a grin.
“You have no idea what you’re walking into. Don’t presume anything about anyone here, dear Count. That’s a likely way to find yourself utterly defeated by the foe that seeks to end the world.”
“Ah, how quaint. We still have evil geniuses that seek world domination.” Alucard resumed his usual mocking façade.
“Not world domination, world ruination. Contra Mundi created me, made me the curiosity that I am today. He was not to me what you are to Seras. I didn’t get the choice she got, however weak a choice it was. There was no warning, there was no teaching. He delivered unto me a curse and abandoned me to the rising sun.” Alucard looked at her, examining her features for the barest hint of a lie.
“Then you are a Vampire.”
“No.”
“A Methuselah.”
“No.”
“Then what are you?” Alucard grinned, imagining he had her logically cornered.
“An abomination. I am... an ‘other’.” Alex stood, removing her sais from his shoulder blades. She swiped her sais clean, catching a whiff of Alucard’s old, powerful blood. She holstered her weapons and began walking away in the opposite direction. Alex was immediately wrapped in misty shadows, Alucard’s deep chuckle in her ear, tendrils of darkness snaking around her body.
“Ignore me, stab me, and then get a thrill from smelling my blood. I take back what I said about being a poor hostess. You’re the best damn hostess I’ve ever had.”
“Tell me, D. How long has it been since you had your head cut off and a stake run through your black little heart?” Alucard’s only reply was a slightly maniacal chuckle. “You’d better be careful, I might have to turn that record over and make you start counting the years all over again.” Alex’s tone was venomous and biting.
Alucard’s crazed cackle echoed through the corridors as she felt his presence melt away. Finally alone again, Alex took to wandering the hallways again, thinking about Cain and her own special classification. The truth of the matter was, she didn’t really know what she was, how she would be classified. As Alex wandered on, her thoughts fell back into swirling around three men: Hugue, Cain, and Abel. Meanwhile, Alucard had returned to his designated room, sitting in a comfortable chair with his feet propped on a table, contemplating the nickname Alex had given him: ‘D’. So, she knew the story then. This was shaping up to be an interesting visit to the Vatican after all. Alucard grinned at the ceiling, his thoughts wandering back in time to the night he watched Seras change.
