Attack On Drama

I was fazing out as the mission was about to begin. They had just explained the plan and soldiers were freaking out... Fucking cowards... They shouldn't have become soldiers if they weren't prepared to die... They even started to leave! That's a capital crime... Suddenly the captain began screaming... He's always so noisy...

Captain: I hope you  said your prayers traitors! I will hack you down where you stand!

That probably made it worse...

Commander: Heed my command! Those who desert us now will be pardoned! Once a man surrenders to his fear of the titans he is no longer fit for battle! Those who have experienced that fear may leave! Furthermore those who want your parents, siblings and loved ones to also experience that fear may also leave! 

That makes everyone stop and head back.

Commander: Let us think back to 4 years ago! Recall the plan to recapture Wall Maria. Though I presume you all know this without me telling you. The plan itself sounded glorious but in essence it was a way to rid ourselves of the unemployed that the government was unable to support! The only way everyone maintained their silence was because we managed to survive within these confined walls thanks to their sacrifices. All of mankind bears that sin and that includes me! Because the inhabitants of Wall Maria were few, conflict did not escalate! But what about now? If Wall Rose is breached reducing the mouths to feed by a fifth won't suffice! Not even half of the population can be supported within only Wall Sina! If mankind would cease to exist, it would not be because we were all devoured by Titans! We would be our own end! We mustn't die within these narrow walls. I will implore you! Die where you stand!

I really hope Eren can do this... If not... I... I will do it. If she fails I will do it for her. This mission mustn't fail! She will have to make it... I'm to weak... I... I wouldn't even be able to stand if it wasn't for her. I wouldn't even be alive if it was for her. Without her i'm nothing but a empty shell. I'm already shallow enough...

Later we are standing on the wall. Eren is looking at the Commander and his men.

Armin: Eren I'm sorry... In the end i made you carry all responsibility.

Eren: Remember what i said? You have the ability to seek out the right answers. I'll bet on that.

Mikasa: Eren I will-

Eren: Don't say your coming with me. You were assigned in the luring unit right?

Mikasa: But i can't leave you behind. If you go alone you will die.

Eren: Cut it out already! I'm not your little sister and i'm not a kid! I have said this so many times.

A officer call out to us.

Officer: Ackerman, Eberhardt. You two will be part of the elite squad guarding Jaeger.

I smile and sigh with relief. So does Mikasa.

Officer: We need your skill. Time to move out!

As we move out i partly zone out. I can't think of anything else than to get to kill titans. I feel more pumped than ever. We swing around and Eren transforms. I stand in front of her in awe. For a normal human this would be impossible. But a titan is much stronger... And it's Eren after all. She walks towards the rock but then suddenly turn around. She tries to hit Mikasa but i get her out of the way and take the hit straight on... 

Me: Guuuh...

Blood is everywhere... I try to not faint. Suddenly I hear a loud sound. I see that Eren has knocked herself out cold. I bite my thumb. Determined to finish this... Everything goes dark.... It's like a dream but then i snap out of it.

Me: Raaaaaawrg.

It seems i cannot speak.

Me: Ergggggggggggggaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

I move towards the rock. I lay Eren leaning against a building.

Me: Raaaaaaaaaarwg!

I pick up the rock. I feels lighter than i expected. I start to head towards the hole. Several titans approach me but i hit them with the rock.

Me: Raaaaaaaawgh

It's hard to speak. It feels like my tongue is twisted in all kinds of ways.

I suddenly feel weaker but continue. More and more titans appear but i crush all their skulls.

I start to zone out... But i snap back immediately. I refuse to stop now. I'm so close! I start to run and titans are swarming me from behind but i manage to place the rock in the hole.

Me: Grraaaaaaaaaawgh!

I fight them but i'm starting to feel tired. A titan eat my arm.

Me: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaraaaaaaaaaaaaaawg!

They start to tear me apart.

Me: Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh!

Me: *Heavy Breathing*

I fall to my knees... I start to melt away and i slowly faint... 

Eren... Mikasa... Armin...

I observe my surroundings... I'm in a cell. In the cell in front of me i can see Eren lay unconscious.

Me: Who? Did this?

I hear a voice... Levi?

Levi: So you seem to have gotten into trouble kid.

Erwin: You know something we would find valuable don't you?

Me: I can tell you everything i know but... What do you want to know?

Erwin: Everything.

Me: I remember... There is a basement. It holds all the secrets but besides that i don't know much.... Oh right there's a key but i don't know where it is.

That's a lie but i don't want them to hurt Eren or anything.

Levi shows the key.

Levi: It seems your girlfriend had it.

I start to get angry.

Me: Did you hurt her!?

Levi: No. 

Me: *Sigh* That's a relief.

Levi: I heard you had quite the temperament. Could a person like that really qualify as a soldier?

Me: But Captain. I never question orders.

Levi: Drop the act. I already know. But you really have to let her go.

Me: Why?

Levi: Because if you keep on like you do you will question orders whenever anything happens to her or she is involved you WILL die. So let me ask you this... What is more important? Following orders or Jaeger?

Me: ... I see... These mistakes will not be repeated... I will completely separate any private matters from my duties.

Levi: Can you really promise that?

Me: Yes.

Levi: If you break that promise... I will punish you... If you go way to far... I will not hesitate to kill you.

Me: *Gulp* I understand.

Levi: I heard that you posses the same powers as Jaeger. Is this true?

Me: ... Yes.

Levi: Then under these circumstances you will be allowed to join The Scout Regement.

Me: Ttthank you sir. I am very grateful of your decision!

Levi: But we have one more thing to deal with... Tomorrow you will be taken to court. We will try to decide if you will join us or if you will be executed.

Me: I see...

Levi: We will meet again.

He walks off along with the others.

I go to sleep.
