Three years Later...

They will see you now." Yelan said to her son.
"Good, this will be the last time." Lee stated and heads towards their chambers.
"I wish you would tell me what you have planned." Yelan asked once again. Lee stopped and turned to answer his mother.
"For the last three years they have been using every dirty trick in the book to get Meilin and myself back home. I'm tired of it mother. Today it ends." he vowed. He feels someone embrace him and he hugs his other half back.
"Be careful, Lee the last time you stood before them," Sakura began but Lee silenced her with a kiss.
"It won't happen again. Remember, once I'm done we leave right away. They won't be happy about what I'm about to do and I wish not to stick around afterwards." he finished and kissed her again before heading on.
"What is he about to do?" Yelan questioned Sakura who bit her lip.
"I think he is going to dissolve them." she answered.
"Well now," Yelan began in surprise, "he'll be finishing what his father started. I hope it doesn't end the same way though."
"What happened to Lee's father?"
"The medical records will say that he died of natural causes, but I've always believed that he was murdered by the elders for my beloved's inability to produce more than one son. Those old men want security and now Lee is going to make them pay for their actions.

"Where's Meilin Rae?" the first asked.
"She's where she belongs, back in Readington." Lee answered defiantly.
"What!? Our summons demanded that you both come back!" a seconded shouted.
"I'm tired of this. My mother can run things in my stead. As of right now, I hereby dissolve the council of elders! All matters pertaining to this family will be handled directly by my mother and me." Lee announced to the shock of the others.
"You can't do that!" a third cried out.
"I am now 18 and head of this family. I can do what I wish and as of right now, you have no authority! You have tried everything you can think of to either bring Meilin and me home or split us up with our loved ones. No more! I will not have you hurt Sakura again! this is the end! You have no more authority over the family or me!" he finished and left the chamber slamming the door on his way out.

"Yes! Just as I wanted it to be." a shadowy figure celebrated seeing the actions of Clow Reed's descendent. "Now, I'll be free and I shall drain the magic out of those fools."

"Master?" Spinner asked seeing his master shiver.
"I just had a premonition, Spinner. We better prepare."
"Prepare for what?"
"To return to Readington, I believe that another ghost from my past life is about to awaken."

"Is it done?" Yelan asked and Lee nods.
"It is, mother. "Sakura, call Josh, tell him we're ready to jump." he said to Sakura who pulled out her phone and started dialing.

"Well?" Meilin asked with her hands on her hips glaring at Lee.
"It's over. I've dissolved the elders." Lee said.
"Oh my," Wei said shocked.
"Finally!" Meilin said throwing her hands up in the air. "If I had to put up with another one of their hair brained schemes I was going to kill them."
"Well, that will not be necessary now." Lee said with a smirk.

Yelan looked down at the bodies. They appeared to look fine, but they were definitely dead. This concerned Yelan for they hadn't poisoned themselves as punishment for losing the authority they held so dear.
"Well?" she asked.
"Their magic and life force has been drained from each and every single one of them. That's how they died." the doctor answered.
"How is that possible?" she asked.
"Only one with the abilities of Clow Reed could have done this. Not even Lee can do this."
'Another past enemy? Is that even possible? I thought all of them were dead...unless.." 'I will be in the archives." she said and turned to head for the family's record keeping room down in the basement.

"I don't understand...all of Clow's enemies are dead. How could there be another one living?" Spinner asked watching his master frantically pack.
"There was one that was sealed up and if I'm right, then what Lee went through with the elders was premeditated." Eli explained.
"Huh?"
"Someone wants Lee to dissolve the elders and take full control of the family. That way that person can end the line forever."
"Who would...?"
"Not yet, Spinner. I dare not say his name yet. I must make sure Lee hasn't done what I think he's about to do." Eli finished and the two leave to go back to Readington.

"At last...I may not be at full strength, but I am no longer bond nor so weak that I can only cast a night light spell. Clow Reed, I shall destroy your legacy and I shall take what should have been mine! I Var Chokal(1) shall finished what I started so long ago!" the figure wearing black robes with red runes on it laughed out. He draws out a black rectangle and gazes at it lovingly. "You thought my counter card was an impossibility...well, I shall use it to destroy those that use your precious cards."

"Eli, what are you doing back?" Sakura asked seeing him quickly heading for her and Lee.
"Lee, please tell me you didn't dissolve the elder council."
"I did...wait a minute...how did you know..." Lee began but Eli closed.
"You've been played...Var has been pulling the strings with the elders." Eli said solemnly.
"Var? Do you mean...?" Lee began and Eli nodded.
"Yes. I hope you two are ready for you are about to face my worst foe ever, and he knows more about the cards than any other person in the world."
"What are you talking about?" Sakura asked now becoming concerned.
"Are you going to run?" Lee asked.
"No. Var would hunt me down. Better to face him now than to wait for him to kill me."
"Kill you? Lee?" she asked now very concerned.
"We'll explain every later." Lee stated "Let just say we're in more trouble than when we faced Fey."
