Scorpinac: Yeah, you're right. I just needed the opinion from the only reviewer that's bee reviewing my stuff since it all first started back in Heroes Saga. Yeah, Var will pay for this later.

"There it is!" Sakura called out.
"Are you sure you guys want to do this? That bond may be the only way the cards can be all controlled." Kero stated.
"Doesn't matter stuffed animal. We've got to seal that card." Lee said with grim determination. They open the link fully and Lee blasts the card with lightning. Void tries to pull the cards away from the pair, but Lee stops it with another lightning attack.
"Void card!" they both shouted slamming both wand and sword down upon it. "Return to your power confine, discard your former might and draw your strength from our bond!" The two held on as they felt the magic work through them in order to seal and transform the card. The two fall onto there knees from the strain and Sakura cries out in pain as Lee held the side of his head in pain.

"They did it, but I now must question your sanity. With that bond broken we might not be able to beat Var." Yue said to Eli as Josh and Madison checked over the unconscious Lee and Sakura. Wulf and Meilin were standing guard since they were still out in the open.
"I'd have to agree with Yue, what were you thinking creating that card!?" Ruby exploded and Eli winced.
"I am beginning to question myself on that decision." Eli mused.
"They are waking up." Josh reported. The moment their eyes opened, panicked set in and the two immediately clung on to each other.
"I knew this would happen." Kero let out.
"What?" Madison asked.
"They have been so used to being able to feel each other that now that they are alone inside of their own head, they feel as if the other is dead." Kero explained.
"And the cards?" Yue asked.
"I don't know how their doing it, but they have found a way to draw magic from both of them at the same time without the bond, but that's only working while they are in card form. I hate to know what might happen if they have to use a card in combat." Kero said despaired over the whole thing.
"You might get that chance...ugly dark mage heading this way!" Meilin shouted and everyone scattered as Var attacked. Josh smirked and fired off his new freeze ray. Var had to teleported away before his left arm would have frozen completely.
'Damn him, he's improved that device of his.' Var thought annoyed. He could feel the broken connection of the two card masters and like a vulture finding its next meal, Var attacked. Holding on to each other for dear life, the two dodge his attacks. Yue and Keroberos cover their masters' retreat by attacking Var.
'Guess they aren't effected by...' Var pondered but a loud roar sounded and Ember, who had been acting unlike himself ever since Void had been sealed was attacking like a mad dragon.
"Oh dear," Eli said worriedly.
"What is it master?" Spinner asked.
"This does answer once and for all where Ember came from. He is exclusively made from their magics, but unlike the cards, Ember relies more on that bond at the moment than do the cards." Eli explained.
"Lee, Sakura, I know you're suffering withdrawal, but call off Ember! In the mind set he's in he'll bet hurt!" Kero shouted.
"Ember...come to me!" Sakura managed to call out. Whatever madness gripped the beast seem to leave him and he transformed back to his false state, but that was a mistake as Ember's flight path was disrupted by a harsh attack sending him crashing hard into Sakura who had to be held up by Lee. Two angry guardians start attacking violently the dark mage before them.
"I've never seen them like that." Eli commented.
'No, they are gong to overwhelm me if I don't leave.' Var thought frustrated at the whole situation. He avoids another attack from the violently angry guardians and teleports away.
"Darn, he didn't stick around long enough for me to test the rest of my weaponry." Josh complained and Meilin rolled her eyes but was amused that Josh was picking up a vicious streak for their enemy.

"How long will they be like this?" Aidon asked Wei.
"I'm not sure. Yelan is looking into any information the family may have on broken bonds that weren't broken through death." Wei answered.
"They seem not to be able to be apart from each other." Aidon commented.
"Yes, as long as they are in the same room they are fine, but if they aren't in the same room, their auras panic and they feel compelled to find each other." Wei explained.
"Can they recover from this?"
"That is what Yelan is trying to find out. Clow might be an ancestor of the family, but we do have our own magical archive to fall on in these unusual situations. Are you sure you would want her to stay...I'm sure Lee..."
"No. I don't want to give Tori an open shot at trying to break them apart further. Just look at them, they look as if they need to be together."
"Yes. Var's plan might not have worked in the way he intended, but they have been damaged."

'I've done what none of them could do and that's break that bond. I've taken away their greatest weapon away from them. Now, I must make sure they don't get it back. That combined attack I witnessed before they sealed void again was far beyond even Clow Reed. That reached into Merlin territory and I'm not gong to attempt to fight a force that powerful!' Var thought to himself. 'Karthing improved his toy...I must find someone that I can pick off easily.. I must not get myself caught in a fight against all of them.'
