Scorpinac: Hmmm, lovers would be the way to go, but it would be risky. The card might want to play and the entire city would want to...well, you get the idea.

"How long?"
"Thirty minutes."
"That's all?"
"The withdrawal seems to be greater than any of us thought." Wei said to Aidon.
"Has Lee's mother found anything?"
"The only thing that she was able to come up with was using the lovers card again. The problem is that the card could go wild and that could prove to be a greater problem."
"i hope this ends soon. Tori has been coming around again and if he notices that she is gone every time he comes around..."
"The problems seem to mount don't they?"
"Indeed they do."

"You're usually not this sloppy."
"Damn it! This whole thing with Lee and Sakura has messed my head up!" Meilin ranted to Wulf.
"Have they figured anything out?"
"Only to use the Lovers card again, but..."
"But if that card is used the entire town would go sex crazed."
"Or worse, Lee and Sakura could end up with a kid due to the fact that they couldn't control the card."
"Or even worse all of the women in the city could end up pregnant." Wulf countered and Meilin slapped her forehead.
"Oh you're a ray of sunshine aren't you?" Meilin asked sarcastically and Wulf grinned.
"I'm her for you."

'Madison, I must go after her. Capturing her and luring Josh to fight me one on one would be the best way to go about it. The others would come running and Lee and Sakura would try to stop me with the cards but the cards won't listen to them because the cards would be trapped between two unbonded magics!' Var celebrated. 'Now, to capture Madison.'

"Hello, Madison," Var coldly greets. Madison tries to run off, but her body seizes up from a spell by Var.
'Darn it, this wasn't the day to go shopping by myself on foot!' she panicked.
"Don't worry, you're boyfriend will be along shortly." Var mused and the two vanished.

'Damn him!' Josh thought. "Damn him!" Josh shouted at the top of his lungs. Fortunately, he was in his bedroom so his father didn't hear him. 'So he wants me one on one. Ok, he'll get me one on one.' he thought. He stopped and thought for a moment. coming to a decision he grabbed his phone and wrote out a quick text message. He puts it on a time delay and retrieves his goggles and wrist band.

The old building Josh entered was dark. He then sees a light shining on Madison who was hanging with her wrists above her head by a chain attached to one of the struts in the roof.
"Welcome Karthing, I didn't think you'd come alone." Var's voice announced in the darkness.
"I wasn't going to come with everyone if you were just going to kill her right on the spot if I did that." Josh retorted.
"No wonder you've been able to stay alive. Unlike the others, you've got a brain between those ears of yours." Var chuckled.
"What do you want Var?" Josh demanded.
"Simple, you beat me, you get to leave with her, you lose, and you both die." Var informed and Josh growled and activated his head sensors.
"Fine." he quietly said and fired off a missile.

'Now she's fighting better.' Wulf thought. The two stop in mid strike hear their phones beep at the same time.
"O," Wulf began..
"Shit." Meilin finished and the two go over to their phones and check them.
"It's Josh, he and Madison are in trouble." Wulf said.
"C'mon, we better go and get them out."
"You think Lee and Sakura got messages as well?"
"I doubt it. Odds are he only sent the message to us knowing that we'd be more useful than Lee and Sakura."

"Here Var, try this on for size!" Josh shouted and a ball of blue energy forms at the end of Josh's wrist band. The ball increases in size and is launched. The explosion makes Josh smirk in triumph.
"Damn you!" Var shouted. He had taken that blast on his side, but it had destroyed his robes on his left side.
"Like my charge shot?"
"Ooooh, I'm going to..."
"Do absolutely nothing Var." Meilin spat. We've got Madison Var."
'What!?" Var yelled.
"I said I'd come alone, but I didn't say that I wouldn't have a plan." Josh said joining the other three and the four vanish.
"Noooo!"

"We've got to do it, Lee." Sakura said.
"I don't know about this, Sakura. If we lose control of the Lovers card..."
"We can't use the cards if we're not bonded, Lee. We've been bonded for so long that's second nature to us to be able to sense each other's thoughts and feelings."
"I do miss that, ok, we'll do it."
"Good. I don't want Var doing that to Madison again."
"Josh certainly tricked Var though." Lee added. They would inform Wei of their decision and use the card in an attempt to bond again.
