Angels In Toyland

Cha bla blinked wide purple eyes in confusion as he passed a shop window that had been completely covered in a mural of virtually nude
dancing forms. While the mural was visually stunning, the dark angel couldn\'t fathom why that precious display space had been covered by a
painting. Most stores used every bit of display space they could get their hands on. Here the store was completely covered. With a little yank on
his lover\'s arms Chihaya stopped for a closer look.

\"Oh, It\'s THAT kind of store!\" Chihaya whispered as he realized that the dancing forms proved not to be dancing after all.

Still holding onto Chihaya\'s hand Kagetsuya paused to make his own inspection of the mural. \"Would you like to go inside? I don\'t think you
have ever been in an adult store before.\"

The lanky blond looked on as the battle between Chihaya\'s curiosity and his natural shyness towards private matters clashed across the
brunette\'s angelic face. Kagetsuya moved his attention back to the painting as he waited for his lover to come to a decision.

Finally Chihaya\'s hand tightened around Kagetsuya\'s. Tossing his head shyly, the dark angel brought his eyes up to meet his partner\'s clear blue
gaze. Despite the obvious shyness there was spark of pllneslness in the depthless amethyst eyes.

Kagetsuya felt himself responding unconsciously to his lover\'s sweet smile with one of his own. It was nearly impossible to resist Chihaya when
he was in such a playful mood.

Pulling his lover behind him Chihaya entered the adult toy store only to stop suddenly as a riot of colors and shapes danced in front of him. A
muffled \"Ophhh,\" was heard as Kagetsuya walked into his diminutive partner. He was about to scold Chihaya for stopping so suddenly when he
caught sight of his lover\'s face.

With huge eyes the dark haired angel looked about him as if unsure of what to do next.

The Kagetsuya chuckled as he lead the unresisting angel away from the doorway. Neither of the two angels noticed the dark stranger who look
over at the smaller bishonen with a predatory gaze. When they were out of the lane of traffic, Chihaya turned his violet orbs on his lover. \"I never
realized there was so much of this kind of ...\" He blushed as he searched for an appropriate word to describe the merchandise that filled the
shelves and walls. \"...stuff.\" He settled on as he swung his arms about to indicate what he was referring to. \"I don\'t know what we should look at
first.\"

Spreading out long fingered hands, Kagetsuya pointed to a tightly packed table not far from where they were standing. \"Since we are here why
don\'t we start looking at this table.\"

The long narrow table was set up next to the wall. It was brimming with vibrators of every shape, color and size imaginable. There were even a
few colors Kagetsuya couldn\'t put a name to. Leaning back against the wall, Kagetsuya smiled fondly as Chihaya picked up one of the oddly
shaped vibrs ans and looked at it closely.

Unable to identify the shape, the dark angel held out the toy to his lover. \"Is this supposed to be a cat?\" He guessed. \"Why would you want a

\"Hmm, Yes I think your right. It is a cat. And it\'s a special vibrator for women. The tail moves just like the rest of the vibrator.\" Kagetsuya
tugged on the tail causing the \"body\" of the cat to react to the motion. A shiver passed through his spinal cord. He had a feeling they were being
watched. No, it was more than that. It felt as if they were being stalked. But when he looked around the room he saw only one solitary figure
reading a magazine and the clerk. Shrugging it off he turned back to his lover.

Chihaya quickly set the vibrator back in its place. He watched it as if at any moment, it might come to life and bite him if he weren\'t careful. He
edged away from the table still looking askance at the cat. \"It\'s watching me.\" He whispered just barely audible.

Amusement flooded Kagetsuya\'s normally serious face,\" It can\'t be looking at you, Chihaya. It\'s made of plastic. \" The amusement faded as a
sense of foreboding filled the tall blond. Taking the smaller man gently by the arm he guided Chihaya towards the dildos, hoping the little angel
would find them less offensive.

\"Oooh, look at this one!\" Chihaya held up a lime green jelly dildo with gold sparkles that glinted under the bright store light.

\"You can\'t be serious.\" The blond angel looked dubiously at gaudy toy for a moment. He relaxed when his lover turned back to wink teasingly at
him.

\"I just wanted to see what you\'d say.\" Chihaya admitted as he set the toy back onto its spot on the table.

Kagetsuya\'s head snapped up catching the lurking stranger staring straight at Chihaya. A very unpleasant smile tingeing the rough face. Stepping
in front of his partner, Kagetsuya stared the man down. His eyes growing hard and as cold as ice.

The predator\'s face darkened with displeasure at having had his hunt interfered with. Dark brown eyes narrowed nearly to pinpoints as he
stepped closer to the tall blond who was blocking his prey.

Oblivious to the face off happening behind him, Chihaya\'s attention was caught by some brightly colored packages at the front counter. He
looked over the little packets carefully. Then digging out some money he had shoved haphazardly in his pocket he picked one out and passed
the change to the clerk. Neither Chihaya nor the clerk were aware of what was happening in the back of the store.

In the back of the store the leather-clad predator had pulled a knife. His eyes glinted with insanity as he jabbed wildly at the angel. Moving faster
than any human could hope to follow, Kagetsuya easily avoided the sharp dagger. Dodging displays with agile grace the angel kept the predator
at bay until he was certain the man had tired. The blond angel turned to face his enemy. It was an easy thing to grab the dark creature by the
neck. With a small heave he lifted the human trash off the floor suspended by his neck.

\"He is my partner,\" Kagetsuya indicated Chihaya with a lift of his shoulder. \"I have no intention of letting scum like you hurt him. If I ever see you
try to come after him again, I will not hold back. Do you understand?\"

Unable to breath or even make much of a sound the predator nodded. His eyes widened in disbelief. He had thought himself invincible.
Kagetsuya shook the creature one more time to make his point and then released him.

Kagetsuya\'s heart quickened within him as he scanned the store not finding Chihaya anywhere. Walking quickly to the front of the toy store he
sagged with relief as he caught sight of the dark angel standing in the alcove the cash register was in.

His bright blue eyes widened in astonish whe when, just as he approached Chihaya slipped a condom out of its package and into his mouth.

The clerk made a startled noise as Chihaya\'s face crinkled up in disgust. \"This is the worst tasting gum I have ever had.\"

Kagetsuya just stared at his lover his moth hanging open. Slowly his shoulders began to shake as laughter took its hold on him. Taking a deep
breath, he wiped the tears from his eyes. \"Ah, Chihaya you are an absolute treat. That is a condom, not gum.\"

\"So that\'s why it tasted like latex.\" Blushing deep crimson Chihaya spit the condom out in the trash basket near the register. Grabbing his lover\'s
hand he pulled Kagetsuya out of the store before he could die of embarrassment.

Once they were safely outside the store Kagetsuya stopped walking. When Chihaya paused to look up at him he clasped the small angel to his
chest in a tight hug. Startled at the fierceness of the touch, but wanting to give Kagetsuya everything he needed Chihaya returned the embrace.

Kagetsuya lifted Chihaya\'s chin up so he could gaze into the violet oceans. When the fear of what might have happened had subsided somewhat
he traced his lover\'s jaw. The long feathery eyelashes blinked closed for a moment depriving him of his purple seas. Leaning forward he set a
gentle kiss on Chihaya\'s waiting lips. \"Promise me something Chihaya.\"

\"Anything,\" The smaller man murmured huskily.

\"Don\'t ever go into a place like that again, unless I am with you.\" The blond looked seriously into his lover\'s eyes hoping Chihaya would pick up
on his seriousness.

It was an odd request, but Chihaya sensed that his answer was very important to Kagetsuya for some reason. So he nodded. \"I promise.\"

Kagetsuya smiled, his eyes clearing of the fear that had clouded them. \"Lets get going. I have a special treat in mind for supper tonight.\"

Arm in arm, the couple turned to walk away. \"MMMM, food. I am hungry. And your food never tastes like latex.

\"I should hope not,\" Kagetsuya shook his head as a chuckle escaped him.

Smoldering in anger, a pair of narrowed brown eyes watched the lovers as they made their way down the street. Rubbing his neck the figure
sighed. He turned disappearing down an ally in the opposite direction.
