Yun Kouga owns Earthian and all its characters. I am only borrowing the boys for a little fun. This story is Yaoi and has that zesty lemon zing. It\'s also pretty much a PWP. Not that stories without plots are necessarily bad things. Please do not read further if this sort of thing offends you or you are underage.

Preening

Darkness descended upon the moderately sized white walled living room as a short slender man with shoulder length raven hair and a delicate angular almost feminine face pulled the cord of the blinds closing them. Looking towards the middle of the room Chihaya blinked large long lashed violet eyes several times as they adjusted to the darker room. There were two lamps one in each corner, but they couldn\'t compete with daylight for brightness. Dropping the blind\'s cord Chihaya wrapped his arms excitedly around himself. A giddy feeling was building up from deep within him. \"It took us all morning to prepare the room for this but it\'s almost ready.\" He breathed softly casting his gaze around the sparsely furnished room to make certain all was in order.

Incense curled up in graceful rings from a table on the far side of the nearly empty room. On top of the large plastic tarp that covered the floor were two brightly colored waterproof mats. Chihaya walked over to the bright purple mat and knelt down inhaling the intoxicating aroma of the incense. Reaching out to touch the objects that had been set out in front of his mat Chihaya listed everything that his partner and he would need. \"Scissors, oil, pick, and gauze bandages, it looks like almost everything is here.\"

When the items were arranged to his satisfaction Chihaya bounced up full of energy. Hopping over to the other mat he knelt down again. This mat was bright blue but it had the same objects in front of it as the purple one had. There were no adjustments to make so he stood back up and walked over to the stereo. A quick peek under the lid showed him that the right CD was indeed in the player. The cd was all instrumental. Chihaya had chosen it because knew that it was a particular favorite of Kagetsuya\'s. He turned the power on and then looped the cd into continuous play.

\"Now everything is ready except for the water bottles and Kagetsuya is seeing to theo I o I might as well get ready.\" Pushing himself to his feet once more Chihaya began to pull the light green angora sweater out of his pants as he walked over to the purple mat. He smiled appreciatively as the soft material ghosted over his bare skin. Folding it neatly he set the sweater down out of the way where it wouldn\'t be damaged by water, oil or feather dust. Unbuckling his pants he pushed them off and then folded them setting them on his sweater. His underwear and socks followed a heartbeat later.

\"Being free of clothing feels wonderful. Now I just needed to relax a little or I will be too tense for Kagetsuya to do anything.\" Clasping his hands together, Chihaya stretched his arms up over his head. Shifting his weight he moved one shapely leg forward in a lunge. Chihaya\'s back was arched as he turned his jubilant face upward to follow the motion of his hands as they moved sinuously above him. Chihaya\'s lips parted and a barely audible yielding sound came from his throat as Ink black wings unfurled from his dainty back. The dark angel swung his hips forward to balance himself when his center of gravity shifted as it always did when his wings were unfurled. Chihaya\'s midnight hair lengthened flowing past the small of his back as he revealed his true angelic form.

A tall blond man with vivid blue eyes set in a classically handsome face appeared in the doorway. Kagetsuya\'s breath caught in his throat when he walked into the living room. Captivated by Chihaya\'s unconsciously sensual dance, he involuntarily took a step forward. Instinctively drawn to the alluring dancer that was his lifemate. He had to fight the urge to respond to the soft sound that Chihaya made as the dark wings emerged. Holding tight to the extra large spray bottles in his arms he drank in the sight of his beloved. The light of the lamps kissed the black angel\'s slightly dusky skin burnishing it to a light gold. Chihaya\'s vivid amethyst eyes glowed with a radiance that could compete with the golden light of the sun. The sweet curve of the dark angel\'s smile grew wider as he turned his head towards the door and noticed his lover stag thg there. Like the wings of a raven Chihaya\'s long black hair held hints of deep green and violet luminescence that shimmered asspunspun slowly around to face Kagetsuya.

\'Please don\'t say anything, Chihaya. Don\'t break the spell of this moment.\' Kagetsuya urged his lover silently. He wanted to hold onto this moment as long as possible.

Chihaya could tell just by glancing at his lover\'s awe filled face that Kagetsuya wished this to be a special moment. So instead of saying what had been on the tip of his tongue, Chihaya gave Kagetsuya a shy come hither look a rea reached out towards his lover with open arms in a clear invitation.

An answering smile lit Kagetsuya\'s face as he realized that Chihaya had gotten his silent message. Sensitized by watching his diminutive lover\'s dance, Kagetsuya was acutely aware of his own movements as he bent down to set the bottles in front of each mat. Standing back up in one graceful motion Kagetsuya gazed upon the gentle love filled expression Chihaya wore as he slipped his hands underneath his turtleneck and pulled the dark fabric up the chiseled surface of his chest.

Amethyst eyes widened appreciatively following the play of light and shadow that moved over Kagetsuya\'s powerful muscles as the blonde\'s upper body was slowly revealed. Chihaya let his gaze roam the hard smooth surface of his lover\'s chest as Kagetsuya threw his turtleneck on top of the pile that Chihaya had started.. Swaying his hips towards Chihaya, Kagetsuya slipped his pants down his long legs looking up at beautiful brunet with a teasing smile.

Chihaya looked at his lover with surprise and then approval in his eyes when he saw what Kagetsuya had done. With a bit of clever wriggling his lover had managed to get both his pants and underwear off at the same time. These also found their way haphazardly onto the growing pile of clothing that had been tucked away where it wouldn\'t be damaged.

\'Finally we get a chance to preen.\' Kagetsuya thought to himself. \'Showers are all well and good but there isn\'t enough room to clean your wings inm. Bm. Besides preening is a good bonding exercise.\' Kagetsuya found he had to stifle a laugh when he looked up at his slim lover. All of Chihaya\'s glossy black feathers were fluffed out displaying his excitement. The leading edges of the dark wings were vibrating ever so slightly as if the dark angel needed to move something or he would burst. Taking pity on his adorable partner Kagetsuya revealed his own angelic form. The bright angel stretched his gleaming white wings out behind him, as his golden hair grew longer.

As one both angels reached down to pick up the spray bottles. Making sure the setting was on fine mist the lovers began to spray each other with the warm water. Tiny rainbowlledlled the room as the jewel like droplets of water hung in the air. The angels danced for each other as they continued to spread the small droplets through the air.

Opening his wings to the mist the dark angel shook his feathers to get the best water coverage he could. \'It feels wonderful to finally be clean!\' Chihaya thought, sighing happily as he looked across at his lover. He could feel his feathers growing heavier from the moisture in the air. Chihaya shivered despite the warmth of the water as the moisture made its way through all the feathers of his wings. The dark head lifted, causing rivulets of water to run down his smooth chest. His wide violet eyes were bright with surprise as something warm brushed the edge of his wing.

Seeing his lover shivegetsgetsuya reached his left arm around Chihaya\'s back pulling the smaller angel to his chest as his right hand caressed the long black feathers. As the warmth of his body heat wrapped itself around the smaller angel, Chihaya ceased his shivering. Nuzzling against his dark angel\'s damp hair Kagetsuya gave the man in his arms a tight squeeze. He knew that Chihaya was so thin he tended to be sensitive to changes in temperature.

Warmer now, the dark angel cuddled close to his beloved. His eyes closed as his childlike face reflected pure bliss. \"You can hold me like this any time you want to.\" Chihaya whispered not realizing he had spoken aloud until a deep chuckle stirred the hair on the top of his head. The dark angel felt Kagetsuya\'s arms tightened around him as tender lips caressed his forehead. \"Mmm.\" He moaned tilting his head back while leaning in closer to Kagetsuya\'s broad chest. The warm lips gently kissed each darkly fringed id cid causing Chihaya\'s groin to tighten pleasurably.

Reluctantly opening his eyes, Chihaya took a step away from his lover so that he was now on the purple mat. Holding his hand out palm up he looked up into the sea of the bright angel\'s bright blue gaze. Kagetsuya\'s hands met his and they intertwined their fingers as they knelt on the mats in complete rapport with each other. The white angel let go of Chihaya\'s hands once they were both on the mats. Together they hed hed down each one taking a feather pick. The angles extended their left wings to each other as they leaned in to have a good look at the feathers before them.

Chihaya hummed softly to the music as he worked his hands into the luxuriant white feathers of his partner\'s wing searching for any kind of build up along the wing shafts that would need to be picked or trimmed away. The movement\'s of Kagetsuya\'s hands as they wound through his dark feathers was invigorating.

A warm molten knot was forming with Kagetsuya as he watched his smaller lover out of the corner of his eye. Chihaya was beautiful at any moment, but it was at times like these when a happy smile spread across his face that he appeared truly angelic. If it weren\'t for the color of his wings he could easily have been a model for any of the angel statues in churches and museums around the world. Kagetsuya\'s lips lifted into a tiny inward smile as he caught Chihaya glancing his way. \'The mind behind that face is even lovelier and all of it is mi'

A tingling pleasure shot through the dark angle as he caught a glimpse of the possessiveness in his lover\'s clear cerulean eyes. \'It is a nice feeling to know I am wanted. I have always needed you. Because of the color of my wings I never even dared to hope that one day someone would need me. Who would want a black angel after all? Or so I thought. But you do love me. I know that beyond a doubt. The color of my wings doesn\'t matter to you one bit.\' Chihaya mused to himself as they switched to working on the other wings. Chihaya looked adoringly at his lover\'s bold face. \"I\'t \'t know how I managed to get so lucky but I am grateful for each day we have together.\"

The dark angel\'s head jolted up to glance at his own wing as something cold touched one of his main wing bones. Kagetsuya was using the scissors to pry out an impacted feather before it could become infected. Chihaya sighed as he watched his lover carefully extract the her her in question. Impacted feathers were often a consequence of the earth bound angels not being able to extend their wings as much as angels on Eden were able to. There was less of a space problem on their home world. Buildings and homes were designed to be comfortable weather one had their wings revealed or not. Here they couldn\'t spread their wings out as much and so the angels of earth had a higher occurrence of impacted feathers.

When Kagetsuya set the feather and scissors down Chihaya picked up his pot of oil. Pouring the light oil over his fingers he made certain there would be enough for Kagetsuya\'s whole wing. Setting the pot down Chihaya leaned forward to kiss his lover as he spread the oil in an even coat over the white feathers. Kagetsuya snaked a hand around Chihaya\'s waist pulling the darker angel to him. Tracing the bumpy surface of Chihaya\'s left nipple with the other hand, Kagetsuya angled his hips so that his groin pressed against Chihaya\'s rising member.

The dark angel paused only long enough to pour oil onto his other hand before brushing excitedly against Kagetsuya\'s shaft. Moaning in pleasure the blond angel pulled away reaching down to grab the oil container. \"Turn around and put your hands on the mat.\" He commanded in a velvety soft voice.

Chihaya did as instructed going down on all fours. He arched his back upwards as Kagetsuya straddled him. The blond\'s hard shaft pressed against Chihaya\'s back as the bright angel covered the dark wings with the oil that would keep the feathers in good condition.

Kagetsuya ran his hand over the long dark feathers one last time before letting his oily hand slide over his own shaft. His legs tightened around Chihaya\'s waist involuntarily as he made certain the shaft was well lubricated. Gently he pushed the dark wings down until Chihaya realized what he wanted and lowered them to the mat. Laying forward he shifted his hips far enough so that he could reach between Chihaya\'s legs and the warm tunnel that lay hidden there.

A pleasant fire scorched across Chihaya\'s skin as Kagetsuya\'s hand caressed his rear end. Chihaya couldn\'t help but gasp as the slippery fingers stole into the darkness between his legs. His sensitized body bucked as pleasure raced over him. Kagetsuya chuckled as Chihaya pressed himself up against those invading fingers. Quickly removing his hands the blond drove his hungry shaft into his lover. The black angel arched into his thrusts. Both angles were panting heavily when Kagetsuya reached down to stroke Chihaya\'s shaft.

Chihaya bucked once more at the sudden pressure on his sensitized member. With a groan of pleasure seed shot from the tip of his shaft peppering the purple mat with gems of pearly white. As he came, Chihaya\'s inner muscles caressed his lover\'s shaft forcing it deeper into the dark warmth. Kagetsuya shook as his own body reached the point of release. Arching his back so that his shaft was as deep within Chihaya as it could go Kagetsuya stretched out his glowing wings calling his lover\'s name.

Pulling out Kagetsuya lay down beside his dark angel and wrapped his arms around the smaller man. \"You were incredible.\" He murmured nuzzling Chihaya\'s face.

Blushing with pleasure Chihaya nuzzled back as a languid feeling stole over him. With a soft chuckle and a gleam in his eyes Chi gla glanced up at Kagetsuya. \"Mmm, so were you. I love preening. Who says you have to be vain to love preening.\"

\"Earthians say that. I suppose it\'s because they are not in the habit of preening each other. That is a little sad, because I think there would be many more happy couples if they took the time to preen each other. \"
Kagetsuya leaned forward to nibble on Chihaya\'s chin. \"You don\'t need to be vain to preen someone else, but being henti helps.\"

Chihaya giggled at that as the fire started to smolder within him once more. \"So are you henti?\" The black angel asked with amusement in his voice.

Kagetsuya didn\'t answer he was busy licking the rim of Chihaya\'s ear.

\"I\'ll take that as a yes.\" The dark angel chuckled as Kagetsuya claimed his lips. It didn\'t take Kagetsuya very long at all to prove him right.
