Comes The Dawn

As dawn broke, light filtered through cracks in the thick window shades of the Imonoyama mansion falling across the two sleepers who lay spooned together on an oversized futon in one of the mansion\'s larger bedrooms. The smaller of the figures, a blond with scraggly sleep mussed hair stirred in his dreams turning his elfin face away from the light, mumbling a barely audible complaint. \"But, I don\'t want to wake up yet Suoh. I promise I\'ll finish the reports today.\"

Lifting his sapphire crowned head the other figure stared at his bedmate with foggy topaz eyes as he tried to figure out what the blond had said. When wakefulness finally returned to him, Suoh laughed out loud rubbing his angular face against the gracefully curved neck of the blond who lay nestled in his arms. \"I am pleased to here that you intend to work on the reports today, Rijichou.\"

Suoh\'s Lips trembled with his laughter as he pressed a kiss against the soft pale skin where his lover\'s neck and shoulder joined. \"However, I must insist that you wake up now Nokoru.\"

A sleepy Nokoru turned his head back to its original position squinting as the light penetrated his eyelids. \"No,\" Nokoru pouted snuggling closer to his bedmate,\" I feel so safe and warm with you here. But if I wake up you\'ll disappear again. Let the dream last just a little bit longer, please?\"

The humor evaporated from Suoh\'s face when he heard the wistful note in his friend\'s soft voice. Tightening his long arms around Nokoru\'s slight frame Suoh tilted his head sideways seeking the blonde\'s lips. He could feel Nokoru\'s chest lift and fall as a soft sigh escaped from the handsome blond.

Gently breaking off the kiss, Suoh lifted his head back far enough so that he could see his lover\'s profile. \"I promise you Nokoru, I won\'t disappear if you wake up. But if you don\'t wake now we will be late for work.\"

Two flaming Sapphires were revealed as Nokoru\'s eyelids slowly fluttered open. His full lips stretched into a beatific smile as he realized that Suoh was still there. \"I am glad you weren\'t a figment of my imagination.\" Nokoru caressed Suoh\'s cheek with his finely boned hand. Suoh leaned into the touch with a quiet chuckle. The chairman\'s expression became more serious as he sighed. \"But I suppose we do have to start getting ready to go to work.\"

Turning his head Suoh kissed the palm of the hand resting against his angular face. \"Yes we do.\" Sunlight colored eyes gleamed as they looked up mischievously at Nokoru, \"But that doesn\'t mean we don\'t have time for a nice long shower.\"

Enchanting laughter filled the room as Nokoru\'s vivid eyes glanced down at his friend\'s lower body. \"A marvelous idea, but you\'ll have to lose these first.\" He said indicating Suoh\'s pants by pointing an elbow at the offending garment. With one last caress against Suoh\'s chin the chairman\'s hand brushed down the ninja\'s finely toned chest. Playfully Nokoru let the digits of his hands slide to his friend\'s side as he moved them down.

The ninja\'s back arched upwards a surprised moan escaping from his lips as Nokoru swiftly pulled the pants off of his hips. Glancing down he watched the blond haphazardly fold the garment. \"How did you know I was so sensitive along my sides? I didn\'t even know.\"

Rinsing himself off Suoh smiled at his friend and now lover,\" It would be my pleasure.\" Nokoru was so pleased he finished cleaning himself up without any further complaints.

\"Amazing\", Suoh thought to himself as he dried off,\" We may actually get in to work on time despite everything that\'s happened.\" The ninja hummed lightly under his breath as he dried his arms off. \"Today is turning out to be a very fine day indeed.\"
