The night was darker than ever. The leaves were rustling in the wind. The rain was smattering against the window…
“I’ll…I’ll…kill you, Setsuna…”
Two bodies twisted together in the dark. Dark stains of blood were painted on the cold stone floor…
“I…love you…”
Setsuna could feel the cold steel of the knife edge against his back. Tears of hatred were welling up in his eyes. How could Kira do this to him? He felt Kira’s heavy body leaning on him with its full weight, and pearls of sweat dripping down on his neck. He was sweating too. This hurt so much. Would it ever end?
“Come on Kira, if you want to, then kill me…but please stop talking nonsense…my head hurts…”
Setsuna felt sick. Soon he wouldn’t be able to keep it down any longer. Kira was inside him and it was horrible. It felt like he was going to die, bleeding away from inside. He wanted to scream but he couldn’t.
Kira was moaning of pleasure. He was going way too fast and too hard. Setsuna couldn’t take this any more. He had never felt this bad ever. He vomited. He could hear Kira gasping from surprise. It felt like the sound came from a different world. Maybe he really was dying. He was thinking of Sara… His beautiful sister, she had been his only true love. He had valued her more than his own blood, but she was already dead. If she was a diamond he had been her keeper. He felt so ugly beside her, but at the same time so beautiful. She made him look beautiful. He missed her…
“Sara!...” he cried out…
Kira didn’t seem to care, he just got more brutal. Setsuna was crying heavily by now. Why had this have to happen to him…His, his beautiful Kira…He really didn’t want to admit it, but he loved Kira. Those dark brown strands of hair, almost black of sweat, hanging down in his eyes, those eyes…on the same time so warm but yet so cold. Setsuna used to love looking into those eyes. He adored Kira. Without him, he wouldn’t even e alive by now…and yet, Kira did this to him. This wasn’t love…Setsuna was unable to see the meaning in this stupid sexual act. It was just weird, perverse and ugly… He liked beautiful things…Things like roses, poems, long dark hair blowing in the wind… This was nothing like it.
Did Kira enjoy this? He was screaming and doing nasty grimaces. He couldn’t possibly enjoy this, could he?
Setsuna started to feel sick again…he was so exhausted…would Kira ever let him rest? I didn’t seem like it. For how long thi this been going on? Setsuna couldn’t remember how they ended up in here. He thought they must be in some kind of castle…no, it wasn’t… they were in a church. He saw crosses, crosses everywhere.
Which were the Seven Deadly Sins? Setsuna tried hard to recall them. Pride, Envy, Anger, Avarice, Sadness, Gluttony and…what was it…? Lust? Yes that must be it. Lust… Had they really gone so far as to commit a Deadly Sin in the church? Will our spirits be corrupted…?, he thought.
Besides that, Kira was a Devil…he belonged to Hell…Setsuna an Angel , belonging to heaven.
“Shit! I can not…” Kira wasn’t finished but he pulled it out anyway. He gave up?
Setsuna could feel he was bleeding heavily… bleeding from inside…
“You know, Setsuna…this is a Mortal Sin… This will kill you, in time…”
“I know…what about you?”
“I am a Mortal Sin…I’m the Devil himself. I don’t care if I die…my life is nothing to live for.”
Setsuna heard their hearts beating together…blood flowing through their bodies…black blood…blood of Hell…
“You’re not of Hell, Setsuna. God will forgive you.”
Kira got up. His body looked so worn out. The ribs were showing through the skin. His hand was bony, with slender fingers. They were holding hard onto a knife. Its edge was shining in the dark, reflecting the lights from the candles. Setsuna tried to get up too, but his whole world was spinning around him. He wanted to touch Kira so badly. Feel his muscles under that soft skin…touch his soul.
He heard tree branches smashing onto the windows, and the wind blowing his world apart. Kira just stood there, looking down at him.
“You look pale. Maybe you should rest a little. Get up, I’ll drive you home…everything will be alright.”
Setsuna finally got up. There was blood running down his left leg...
The floor looked really nasty covered in a mix of blood and Setsuna’s vomit. It didn’t smell so good either… Kira looked impatient, but he didn’t say anything. He was looking on his knife. It was so perfect… He wanted to try it. Feel it cut into human flesh. See the blood flowing out, blood of life…
“Setsuna?”
“What is it?”
“Can I cut your wrist? Just one time. You can cut mine first…”
Setsuna took the knife in his hands. It was pretty heavy. He let it rest against Kira’s wrist. He looked at the fine blood vessels going across each other. It was so pretty, the art of the body.
He cut slowly into Kira’s wrist very carefully so he shouldn’t cut off the artery. The blood flowed out like a red flood. Kira closed his eyes.
Kira cut him. It hurt, but soon the pain faded away. He saw his own blood. It dripped to the floor. Their bloods mixed in that dark sea. Kira pressed his hand on Setsuna’s wound to make the bleeding stop. It didn’t work, but none of them cared. It would stop when it stopped. Kira smiled at Setsuna and picked up his blood drenched coat from the ground.
“Let’s go home”, he said.
