Chapter One:
Things that are said…

“ Eclipse?” Raenef looked up from his notes at the demon framed in the high window and he sighed softly. Eclipse, demon of the third order, ranked number four in existence and…Raenef\'s teacher. The young lord watched the older demon turn to him and smile slightly. It made his heart jump and he bit his lip, he forgot what he was going to ask, how embarrassing.


“What is it Raenef?” Eclipse smiled slightly at the young lord sitting at the desk across the room from him and he sighed softly as Raenef blushed and mumbled something about forgetting what he was going to say. Lord Raenef, the young heir to Lord Raenef the IV and just the opposite in personality. Raenef was like a child and Lord Raenef IV had been a master in incantations and spells. And of course Raenef always seemed to be asleep during lessons and he sighed, Raenef seemed to be off in his own little daydream again.


Raenef was lost again in his thoughts; he bit his lip as the older demon sighed and gave him a semi stern look. He yawned and laid his head down on his desk, he was supposed to be writing an essay on Incantations but so far all that was written on the paper were things about Eclipse (well there was some things about Incantations but…) the way he stood, the way he talked and even the way he looked at him was all exotic to the young lord and having nothing else to write, he wrote it down, making the dark haired demon think he was working on his essay when really he was drifting in his thoughts and he closed his eyes.


Eclipse watched as Raenef laid his head down and closed his eyes. He was supposed to be writing but it looked like he was ready for a nap and the dark haired demon watched as the younger boys breathing started to slow and become rhythmic. ‘ Lord Raenef…what am I going to do with you?’ He stood by the boys desk and picked up one of the heavier books, “ Lord Raenef…” He said sternly receiving no answer from the slumbering demon he reached down and yanked the paper out from under the sleeping lord. ‘Exactly how much did the boy get done…’ What Eclipse saw made his face flush a deep red and his breath catch in his throat. He had some of the paper done, like the first paragraph was about Incantations but things started to get off track after that and Eclipse could feel his blush deepening as he read. / He is so beautiful and I can hardly sit here and concentrate on writing this stupid paper with Eclipse standing over me, I would much rather have him panting and moaning over me …OMG I cant believe I just thought that! Ok Eclipse is beautiful but to love him has to be forbidden or something and if he ever found out…I think I would die. Or rather I would die if he didn’t return my feelings…Eclipse why can’t I tell you how I feel? /


Eclipse bit his lip and looked back at the slumbering Raenef, he had always assumed the young lord was about as innocent as he looked, ‘ I guess he’s not as innocent as I thought’ Did the young demon really feel that way about him? He had had an intimate relationship with the previous Lord Raenef IV but they had to keep that a secret and he wasn’t too fond of it. He would never be allowed to stay the night in Lord Reanef\'s bed lest someone caught them and there affection was often sent to each other with innocent touches and looks. He gave another gentle look at Raenef before gently sliding the paper back under his folded arms. He sighed and held the large book he had picked up earlier over his head, Raenef had enough of a nap.


Raenef was already awake though and his heart was beating in his throat. He had awoken when Eclipse had taken the slip of paper out from under him and it took everything in him to keep from springing up and ripping the paper from Eclipse’s hands. He knew exactly what he had written on that paper and he knew Eclipse would read it, but he wasn’t sure how the older demon would react. ‘Is he disgusted? I bet you he hates me know. Whaaa!’ He held his breath as Eclipse read his paper silently and he bit his lip and shut his eyes tightly. ‘He’s going to yell at me…’ He whimpered as Eclipse slid the paper back under his arms and he jerked as a book suddenly slammed down by his head.


“Oi morning Eclipse” Raenef said with false sleepiness in his voice and he looked up at Eclipse, smiling. He could see a slight blush on Eclipse’s cheeks, he felt his own blush cross his cheeks and he looked down refusing to look at Eclipses dark eyes.


Why was Raenef blushing? He wasn’t the one who had just read a love confession that wasn’t meant for him to read and he felt a twinge of guilt in him. He wasn’t supposed to read that but he couldn’t help it and now as they stared at each other there was an awkward silence brewing up between them. He hated it and he took a step toward the blushing Raenef.


“Raenef.” Eclipse whispered and he stood in front of the desk smiling slightly down at the half-asleep demon lord.


Raenef felt his heart jump up into his throat as Eclipse smiled down at him, ‘Why is he looking at me like that?’ He gulped as Eclipse leaned down slowly and by the time he was a few inches away it registered what Eclipse was doing. He closed his eyes hesitantly and leaned forward slightly expecting soft lips only to jump when he heard the study door being thrown open. He jumped away from Eclipse and blushed, staring at his hands as Chris waltzed into the room.


“Hey, Rae what are you guys doing?” Chris asked not noticing Reanef\'s flushed face and the death glare Eclipse was sending him.


“We are studying now will you please leave?” Eclipse hissed as he glared at the annoying Cleric and glanced at the blushing Raenef. He wanted Chris to leave so him and the young demon lord could continue their ‘lesson’.


“Well excuse me~ But Raenef looks like he has had enough studying “ Chris grabbed Reanef\'s hand and pulled him after him out of the room swiftly. He laughed manically and turned a random corner.


“Ummm…Chris you don\'t know where you are going do you?” Raenef asked timidly as Chris pulled him along and they stopped finally, panting and Chris was laughing.


“Eclipse is so clueless” Chris laughed as he slumped against the wall and he looked up at the still slightly blushing Raenef. “ What’s up with you?” He asked tilting his head at the unusually quiet demon lord.


“Nothing, I think I’ll go to my room, take a nap.” Raenef whispered as he turned to leave when Chris suddenly grabbed him.


“Hey, hold up Raenef, I’m not stupid and I know you have a thing for Eclipse, so tell me did I barge in on something?” Chris tried to look Raenef in the eye but the demon lord refused to meet his gaze.


“ No it was nothing.” Raenef whispered and he stared at the ground nervously. He could feel his face go an even deeper red and he bit his lip.


“Ok…if you insist.” Chris nodded unconvinced and he suddenly turned to pin Raenef against the wall. “ I know you want Eclipse but your awful shy about it and so is he…you’ll never get together if you keep pussy-footing around.” He nodded and let Raenef go, eyeing him before the young lord disappeared with a mumbled ‘Go’


Raenef couldn’t believe he had just had that conversation with Chris, he rubbed his shoulder where the cleric had grabbed him and he fell on his bed sighing loudly. He did like Eclipse, he liked him a lot but he wasn’t sure how to work on this fact and now that Eclipse knew, he was sure this was going to be harder than it should have been. He buried his face into the pillows and sighed again. ‘And now Chris knows…Great, just great.’ He closed his eyes and dreamt of the dark haired demon, Eclipse.


Eclipse sighed as he leaned back against the desk, normally he would be furious that his student had just been snatched away from a lesson and now he was just tired, very tired. He put his head in his hands and massaged his temples, this was a lovely nightmare. Raenef loved him and he had almost done something stupid, he had almost slipped and kissed the young demon lord, but that annoying cleric had barged in and saved them from a very awkward moment. He slid to the seat behind the desk and laid his head down on the desk, wondering how Raenef could possible sleep during his lessons.


Eclipse wondered where the young demon lord was and he stood up slightly worried. The cleric had a knack for trouble and the older demon had a slight lump of worry in his stomach. He stood up and after mumbling ‘go’ he appeared in the garden, casting a weary glance around before sighing. He whispered again and appeared in his room flopping onto his own bed in a way that would make other demons gasp. He closed his eyes and sighed again then he was on his feet in a second as he heard a strange noise emitting from the room next to him. ‘Reanef’s room is next to mine!’


Eclipse jumped out of his bed and stood silently for a moment, listening for the sound again. He heard it, it sounded like a small whimper and he felt a slice of fear go through him. He whispered ‘go’ and found himself in the middle of Raenef\'s room, the silence crashing around him uncomfortably. He didn’t move for a minute as he listened for the source of the sound and he turned sharply as he heard the noises coming faintly from the bed. The bed, surrounded in silk drapes and bathed in a soft light was huge and Eclipse cautiously approached it. He pulled back one of the drapes carefully and poked his head through the silk and his eyes widened at the vision lying before him.


Raenef was immersed in the most pleasant dream he had ever had and he sighed, rolling over in his bed, burying his face deeper into his pillows. Eclipse was whispering such sweet things in his ear and he was filled with a bubbling feeling he had never felt before, it made him feel so light. He sighed and leaned against the warmth that was pressed against him, he never wanted to wake up from the blissful dream because it was indeed a dream, Eclipse would never do anything like this in real life. He smiled in his sleep before suddenly starting awake, giving a small whimper in disappointment and he closed his eyes, trying desperately to recapture the dream. Suddenly he was aware of another presence in his room and his breath speed up as a cold fear crawled through him, the presence with him was sending off the most fearful vibes, it sent shivers of fear through him. He bit his lip and closed his eyes tightly as he felt the silk drapes being pulled back, ‘Oh Eclipse…help me!’


Eclipse looked down at the trembling figure of Raenef and he inhaled sharply, ‘ Why is he trembling?’ He watched silently as the young boy trembled and he felt a stab of worry shot through his being. He leaned a gentle hand down and stroked the young boys brow. He felt the young boy under him jump slightly at the touch and he ran soothing fingers through the boy’s loose hair. He felt the boy shiver again and Eclipse heard the young lord emit a muffled whimper. “Raenef?” He whispered, not sure whether the boy was having a nightmare or if his dreams were being filled with more…x-rated images. He could feel his breath catch in his throat and he took a step back, if Raenef was having a wet dream he wasn’t sure he wanted to know what the young lord was dreaming of.


For some reason he couldn’t pull himself far from his sleeping master and he watched as Raenef rolled over… right out of his bed. Eclipse couldn’t help but give a startled yelp as Raenef dumped himself at the older demons feet and came awake with a loud cry. He watched as the young demon lord fought with his sheets and cursed as he tried vainly to untangle himself. He couldn’t help but laugh as the young lord finally untangled himself and stood, face flushed and breathing heavily. He was doubled up with laughter and the lord puffed out his cheeks at the older demon.


“What’s so funny?!” Raenef cried as he tried his best not to laugh with Eclipse, he was surprised that he fallen out of bed but even more surprised to find himself at the feet of his mentor, Eclipse. The older demon was laughing so hard he was doubled over with laughter and the young demon lord had to bit his lip to keep from laughing too. He finally smiled and looked up at his dark haired teacher.


“ Hee…that was the most interesting thing I have ever seen.” Eclipse gasped out as Raenef looked up at him innocently. He reached a hand down and pulled the young demon lord to his feet. “ You ok?” He asked as Reanef stumbled a bit before finding his balance and flashing the older demon a smile.


“Yeah, I’m ok” Raenef whispered and he felt his face flush as Eclipse nodded a smile still present on his lips. “ Umm...Eclipse?” He whispered as he toyed with the end of the blanket, he decided that if any time was good time to tell Eclipse he loved him, this was probably the right time.


“ Yes, what is it Master Raenef?” Eclipse glanced at Raenef who wasshinshing again and playing with the sheets. He bit his lip as the young demon lord looked up at him and opened his mouth, he was tempted to just lean down and capture those sweet lips, but he held himself back as Reanef stuttered.


“ I-I…ummm…I want to tell you Eclipse…that…I love…” But the door burst open and a tangled Chris and Erutis fell into the room cutting off the fumbling Raenef, who was blushing furiously.


“ God damn it Chris!!” Erutis yelled hitting Chris over the head with her wooden sword, “ I told you!! I told you that only one person could stand by the door!! I even told you not to touch the door handle!! Damn It!!!! You ruined a beautiful moment!!” With every word came a blow from Erutis’s sword and Chris was scrambling to get away, running around the room frantically as Raenef blushed and Eclipse sweat dropped.


“ It wasn’t my fault!! You were the one who was leaning against the door!!” Chris yelled as Erutis chased after him and he dodged a few more swipes from the sword. He eventually ran behind Raenef who was still blushing and refusing to look Eclipse in the face. Suddenly Erutis sword came cutting through the air and thonked the young demon lord on the head, causing him to fall over into Eclipses waiting arms.


“If you two don\'t get out I swear…” That was all Eclipse needed to say as Erutis and Chris fought over who left the room first. He looked down worriedly at Raenef, who though he was still awake and conscious looked a little dazed. “ Are you all right master Raenef?” He whispered as the young lord in his arms blushed deeply and nodded.


Raenef sighed softly as he leaned slightly into Eclipses chest, he had never noticed how much skin that robe showed and he pressed his cheek against it, unaware of his actions. Suddenly Eclipses arms tightened around him and he gasped slightly as the older demon stroked his hair out of his eyes.


What was he doing? He shouldn’t be acting this way but it was too tempting with the young innocent looking demon lord in his arms, cuddling against his chest and looking at him with those eyes…His eyes widened when suddenly Raenef ld upd up and pressed his lips awkwardly to the older demons lips. He closed his eyes at the feel of the boy’s soft lips against his and he gently pressed back against those soft lips.

Raenef whimpered as he felt Eclipse kiss him a little, just the gentlest pf pressure against his lips and he leaned in to the slight pressure wanting more of these tingle feelings in him. He sighed against the older demon, whimpering as he became bolder and his tongue left his lips to tease Eclipses lips. He opened his mouth invitingly but moaned in disappointment when his teacher pulled away and looked at him with dark eyes.


“Raenef, you need to study.” Eclipse whispered before turning and walking out. Leaving a startled and slightly flushed Raenef in his wake.


Raenef watched silently as Eclipse left, closing the door silently and he felt a twisting pain in his chest. He gently placed his hand over the pain and he felt tears flood his eyes. ‘ Maybe I shouldn’t have done that...’ he though as he sat on the edge of his bed and he put his head in his hands. ‘ Damn… I though lik liked me too and so I kissed him but now he probably thinks I am disgusting…kissing a guy! Damn…’ he could feel the tears start to leak out of his eyes and he fell back on the bed, burying his face into the pillows to cry softly.


Eclipse leaned against Raenef\'s door, quietly cursing himself for allowing Raenef to kiss him and then cursing even more for allowing himself to be persuaded by those gentle, soft lips. He couldn’t help it those, those lips were so soft and tempting but he had caught himself before he had gotten in too deep. He liked Raenef…ok he loved the young demon lord but he didn’t want to scare the young lord. ‘Even though it was him that kissed me!’ he sighed, to be honest he wasn’t sure why he hadn’t taken Raenef\'s offer when the young lord had opened his mouth to the older demon and yet he had pulled back. ‘Damn’
