What if...

What if…

The title really says it all but I’ll elaborate, this is my take on what would have
happened if Kase hadn’t drug Ken or tried to kill him, if Rejin Takakori hadn’t
killed Ran’s parents or put his sister in a coma, if Asuka was still alive, and if Omi
had never been kidnapped. Would there be others who become the Weiss?
Would Omi, Yoji, Ran and Ken ever meet? Okay and the story is going to take
place during the same time as the show, so everyone’s still the same age and
what not. Ummm… yeah I’m still a major fan of Yaoi so that’s gonna be in here,
just thought I’d like to warn you. I know I don’t write well so if you’re going to
review you can just leave that out, you don’t need to tell me what I already
know. Well anyways, enjoy.

What if…

Chapter 1: Ran Fujimiya

A dim light shown through the window in Ran’s room, gently waking him from
his slumber. He slowly awoke to greet the day. Yawning he stretched and got
out of bed. He had a lot today. He had to get up, shower, get ready, wake Aya
up, start breakfast for him and his sister, drop her off at school, go to class, and
then go to work all to come home and cook dinner for them. He knew what he
had to do, now it was just a matter of doing it. He yawned again as he headed
for the shower with his towel.

Returning to his bedroom, dressed in only his towel, Ran looked through his
closet for something to wear. He decidn a n a pair of black leather like pants
and a red button down shirt that he left open a little. He looked at himselfthe the
mirror and smiled, he thought he looked great. However he knew that it
wouldn’t be appropriate for neither school nor work so he changed into a pair
and blue jeans and an orange sweater.

Now satisfied with the way he looked Ran brushed his hair and made it look nice
before headed out of his room down the hallway, bright with the rising rays of
the sun, and down the hall to Aya’s room. Ran opened the door and looked in
on the sleeping form of his sister. ‘She looks so peacein hin her sleep. It almost
seem cruel to wake her, but I have to, she has school.’ Sighing Ran gave up his
thoughts and moved farther into his sister’s room.

“Aya, you have to get up. You need to go to school today.” Ran said softly while
gently shaking her awake.

“Okay Oniisan, I’ll get up.” Aya said, yawning as she woke up.

Ran smiled at his sister before leaving to let her get ready. He went into the
kitchen to prepare something for them for breakfast. Ran’s parents had left to
go on a much need vacation at Ran’s insistence. He thought that they had been
over stressed lately and had gladly agreed to look after things while they were
gone.

“What’s for breakfast Oniisan?” Aya asked walking into the kitchen dressed for
school.

“I thought we could have some pancakes for breakfast, what do you think?”

“Sounds good to me Oniisan.”

Ran smiled before turning back to cooking. It didn’t take long for him to finish
cooking, and Aya set the table. They sat down together and ate in silence,
which was usual for mornings in their house. It was at dinner that they talked
about their days. They both finished eating at the same time and put their
dishes in the sink.

Aya started washing the dishes but Ran stopped her.

“Go make sure you have everything ready for school, I’ll take care of these.”
Ran told her as he started cleaning.

“Okay Ran.” Aya said as she smiled and ran off to her room to make sure.

Once everything was done they were ready to leave. Getting into the car Aya
asked Ran, “Oniisan, would it be all right if I went over Nagi-san’s house after
school, I agreed to help him with his project.”

Ran smiled at his sister, he knew she had a thing for Nagi Naoe, even if the boy
was almost three years younger than her. He had met him once and he seemed
like an okay kid, but Ran thought that there was something a little off about him.
‘Maybe he just had a rough childhood.’ Ran thought, ‘that could be why he’s so
withdrawn.’

“Sure Aya, I’ll pick you up there when I get out of work, okay?”

“Okay, thank you Oniisan.” Aya said as the car stopped and she got out. “I’ll see
you then.”

“Bye Aya, have a good day at school.”

“I will.” She giggled running off to greet her friends.

Ran watched his sister for a minute before driving off to go to his own class.

Katsuu: Okay so that’s all I have for chapter one, chapter two will be about Omi.
I’m not really sure what I have in mind for the story but it’s going to focus on the
four Weiss boys, but Schwarz and everyone else will be in, I’m just noting to
write whole chapters on them… I don’t think I could even if I tried, I’m not that
creative ^^;;; Well I hope you all will join me in the next chapter, and I hope
you’ve enjoyed reading this one.
