INTRO
\"Nakago-sama, what is the matter?\" a worried Soi asked. He was distracted- not a good sign when they were in the middle of a war. \"Hmm? Oh, nothing, Soi.\" She looked at him strangely, unbelieving. \"Are you sure?\" He glared er. er.
\"Yes, I am sure. Now leave me in peace.\" He watched her leave. ‘Soi...’ She had been there with him through a lot. ‘But...’ He looked to the sky, watching the clouds float overhead- without a care. He smirked. ‘To be a cloud.’
Nakago shook his head and sighed. He had more important things to worry about- such as beating the shit out of that bastard, Tamahome. He actually dared to injure him! He still had a scar on his shoulder from the burn. Nakago smirked, glancing at his shoulder. But the girl... The miko. He did it to protect her. What would it be like to want to protect someone that much? To be willing to give your life for one person... Nakago’s eyes bore all to the world. Forbidden emotion. Forced, harsh cruelty. He sighed. Soi was the only one that could see the depth in his eyes. Suppressed emotion, pained glances, and forced hatred.
He looked up, watching her look over everything with precise scrutiny. She hated failure. She had failed killing the miko once, but it was overlooked as she got him in her pants. Nakago wondered if this battle was actually was futile. So many times, they had managed to foil the miko and her plans for a period of time, but they never succeeded in destroying them.
A slight breeze began to blow, sending his silky blonde hair in every direction. His ice blue eyes softened for a moment, melting away. Maybe this war was all an illusion... A guard came up behind him, causing him to cease his thoughts and come back to the reality of his life, the sole fact that kept his fire of determination burning- It was a lie.
This is a really short start, but I have more chapters finished. There will not be an actual descriptive lemon until chapter 3. There is a different version on fanfiction.net- the lighter version. R&R
