Hello everyone and thank you for reading. For those of you who are
familiar with my past stories, this one is slightly different. First, it
actually has a plot, and second, it has major psychological ANGST - you have
been warned. This is my first attempt at writing a story of this length
and having this kind of content, so feedback is greatly appreciated, as it
motivates me to be a better writer. Special thanks goes
out to Nightstalker, my wonderful beta reader and good friend who encouraged me
to conquer my fears in creating a story with meaningful character portrayals
and real-life psychological situations that have a powerful impact on
people. I hope I don't disappoint you wonderful readers and I hope that I
can write half as well as some of the other fantastic

The
titles of the chapters from the story are all from songs, so I will include the
artist after each subsequent chapter. The title 'Don't Know What You've
Got Till It's Gone' is from a song by Cinderella.

from their recent lovemaking and so full of an expression of pure love just for
him. "It just seems to get better every time," Dee mused. "I love you so
much, Ryo. You are my world," Dee whispered as Ryo snuggled closer
to him, putting his head against Dee's broad chest and lovingly stroking his sides as Dee soothingly caressed Ryo's
back.

"I love you too, Dee," Ryo said
passionately. "More than anything."
Ryo tilted his head up invitingly and smiled at Dee. Dee brushed a wisp of hair away from
Ryo's dark eyes and leaned down to gently press his lips against his
lover's. "Mmmm, Dee," Ryo moaned against Dee's soft lips, parting his own to
allow the grateful intrusion of Dee's tongue into his mouth. Their tongues languidly
caressed each other, basking in the aftermath of their soul-devouring
experience as they fell asleep contented in each other's arms.

One had yet to find any two people
more perfect for each other, for they completed each other like two halves of a
whole. Little did they know that this wonderful disillusionment was going
to end in shattering reality��
