  Everyone was right. I’ve had too much sake. Makimachi Misao thought one night after a late night carousal with her friends. Normally, she didn’t drink sake but tonight was different. The reason for that because her beloved Okashira, Shinomori Aoshi, had just told her that he was in love with her. There was no reason why he said it. It just came out of the blue when he found her sitting alone, trying to get over all that sake. Then he said it much to her surprise. That’s why she didn’t believe this was real.

  “I’m flattered.” She said. Stammering, she added. “B..b..but why are you telling me now?”

  “I love you.” He repeated. His voice, no longer filled with a cool edge, sounded strange. She never heard him speak so softly and honestly before. His eyes were no longer glaring at her. Instead, he looked at her with love.

  “I love you.” He said again. Then he began to do something she never expected him to do. He began to take off his clothes in front of her. Blushing, Misao tried hard to keep a straight face.

  
  

   

  
  

  “Aoshi-sama, I…” She began to close her eyes but kept them slightly open to check him out. Indeed, his naked body was beautiful and bronzed. She would have done anything at that moment to hold his body.
