Belladonna's Pleasure Slave

I don't know why this story was removed. I have been locked out of my Yahoo account, so I got no notice. Here it is again.

Belladonna’s Pleasure Slave

“It is agreed, then?” the voice of Umbra boomed over the Earth. A hologram of the five-eyed face of the evil computer spoke to a young man standing on a dais, apart from the crowd.

“Yes,” the young man answered. “I –the Orbots’ Commander—surrender myself to Shadow, to do with as they please. In return, you will spare the people of the planet Earth.”

“Rob…no…” Boo sobbed. She was afraid of what her inventor and leader was promising.

“I’m sorry, Boo,” Rob looked back at her. “But there is no other choice. Umbra will destroy the Earth unless I give myself up.” He turned back to the image of Umbra floating above them. “How much time do I have until I have to leave?”

“I have already sent the ship on which you will travel, Commander,” the bio-computer answered. A Shadow spaceship lowered itself to hover near the dais. “I am, however, not without some compassion. Say your farewells, then enter the ship.”

Rob nodded, and turned to his friends. Rondu was there, a consoling hand on Dia’s shoulder. Dia was holding back tears as he approached them. The Orbots were standing around the two Elvadorians, giving what support they could.

“Rob…” was all Tor could say. Even the large robot was choked up about losing his leader, and gulping to keep from crying out in front of everyone.

“Tor…” Rob replied in a whisper. He clasped hands with the huge, red Orbot. Unable to voice what he was feeling, he turned to Bort and Crunch. He held his hands out to them, as well. Both robots –not as reserved as Tor— had tears running down their cheeks as they gripped his outstretched hands.

“Good-bye, guys,” Rob whispered. He turned to Bo, Boo, and Oh-No, who were crying even more openly than Bort and Crunch. With a huge, collective sob, the three girl Orbots all threw their arms around Rob’s neck –Oh-No grabbed his legs—and gave him a long, farewell hug.

“Oh…Rob!” Boo sobbed.

“Shhh…don’t cry, Boo,” he tried to soothe her tears. “It’s for the best.” He gave each of his girls a farewell kiss. He then turned to Rondu.

The old elfin man reached out and clasped Rob’s shoulders. Wetness gleamed in his eyes as he gazed at the younger man.

“If I had been granted a son…” he said softly. He then pulled Rob into a fatherly embrace.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better father…” Rob replied just as softly. He returned the hug, and for one moment, they were as father and son. Rob then moved to stand in front of Dia.

“Dia…” he began. So much to tell her, so much he wanted her to know, and no time to say it all.

“Rob…” she continued to fight back tears.

“Dia…I want you to be the new Orbots’ Commander,” he said. “Just because I’m leaving, it doesn’t mean that the Orbots’ job is finished.” He looked over to the Orbots, and Dia followed his gaze. “Let the Orbots’ teach you what you need to know.” They then turned back to look into each other’s eyes. “And don’t give up hope. Have faith that we’ll see each other again.”

With that, what little control Dia had faded, and she broke out into tears, throwing herself into Rob’s arms. For several minutes, they held each other like that, until Umbra’s voice broke the moment.

“Enough! Enter the ship, Commander! Or Earth is doomed!”

Rob bowed his head and parted from Dia, giving her hand a couple of gentle kisses. He backed away for one last look at his friends and family, then turned around and walked toward the ship. Resigned to his fate, Rob entered the craft and settled himself in the seat waiting for him. As soon as the door closed, the ship took off, carrying the noble, young hero to the Shadow Star.

*~*~*

Rob was lead through the corridors of Shadow Fortress, his hands manacled behind his back. As he entered Umbra’s throne room, he looked around. All over the room were Shadow agents, cheering his capture and jeering at him.

“Not so tough without your robots, are you?” one shouted at him.

“Look at the puny human!” another cried. “Is that what we’ve been afraid to fight all this time? A boy?”

“Why, he’s little more than a child!” another exclaimed.

“An infant!” another added.

“Silence!” Umbra’s voice boomed throughout the room. The agents became quiet, although they still sneered at the captive Rob. Rob stood before Umbra, his feet apart and his head proudly held high.

“So we finally have you, Commander,” the computer said evenly.

“Yeah,” Rob answered. “You have me. But that doesn’t mean the Orbots won’t continue to fight.”

“I don’t doubt it,” Umbra replied. “No doubt another Orbots’ Commander is being trained, even as we speak.”

“No doubt,” Rob nodded, a grim smile on his face. The Shadow agents gasped and whispered amongst themselves at this news.

“Then what was the point of taking him?!” one Shadow agent demanded. “If they’re just going to train another to take his place?”

“The point is,” Umbra answered mensingly, “that he was very close to their hearts. A friend; even family. Without him, the Orbots’ spirits are at a low ebb. They have just lost their beloved Commander, friend, and even…father!” Even Rob gasped in surprise at the computer’s words. Did that mean that he knew…?

“Yes, Commander,” Umbra smiled. “I know that your real name is Robert Simmons, and that it was you that created the Orbots!” There were angry cries around them, all calling for the youth’s death. “Silence!” Umbra shouted, and the agents went quiet again. “I now call upon all of you to decide his fate. And whichever agent comes up with the best fate for our young foe, they will be allowed to carry out the sentence!”

“Drown him!” cried one agent.

“Beheading!” called out another.

“Torture!” came another. From all around them, more suggestions were called out.

“Throw him to the dragon-monsters!”

“Dissolve him in acid!”

“Cut him apart!”

Rob tried to keep from blanching at the suggestions being made. Each sounded as bloody and painful as the one before it. All he could hope for was a quick and merciful death.

“And you, Belladonna?” Umbra asked the blue female agent. “You have been silent all this time. What would you do with the Orbots’ Commander? How would you end his life?”

Everyone turned toward the female Shadow agent sitting quietly to one side. It was true –Belladonna had not said one word throughout the entire proceedings. What was her opinion on the fate of the Orbots’ Commander?

Slowly, she stood up and walked over to Rob, moving around him as if appraising what she saw. Presently, she stopped the pacing, and faced Umbra. Rob watched her, wondering what she had in mind for him.

“I would not kill him, Lord Umbra,” she finally said.

”What?!” the agents gasped. “Not kill the Orbots’ Commander?”

“Why would you not kill him, Belladonna?” Umbra asked, interested.

“Too easy,” she replied. “Far too easy. And if he died, he would become a martyr. The Orbots would rally around their new leader, and fight even harder to destroy us, all in the name of their ‘late’ former Commander. What’s more, they will fight with revenge in their minds and hearts. You know how powerful the Orbots are!” she pointed at the Shadow Agents. “How they have defeated us, time and time again! Now think of that power, backed up by the desire for revenge! Do you want to face them, when the only thing on their minds is the total destruction of Shadow? No! It’s not worth it! Not worth the trouble to end his existence.”

“Then what would you suggest?” Umbra questioned. Belladonna turned toward Rob, her eyes on his, a smirk on her beautiful face.

“We make him our slave,” she answered. There were excited whispers among the other agents. “Imagine: the creator and former leader of Mighty Orbots, serving Shadow. Can you see it?” She grabbed Rob’s lower jaw, causing him to tense up, although he did not fight back. “He kneeling before you, calling you ‘Master’, scrambling to quickly obey your commands. “’Yes, Master Umbra,’” she mocked, smiling wickedly. “’No, Master Umbra’. ‘As you wish, Master Umbra.’ ‘This slave awaits his punishment, Master Umbra.’ All from HIM!” With the final word, she pushed Rob to his knees, where he remained, trembling.

For long moments, the throne room was silent as Umbra and the agents mulled over this possibility in their minds. The only sound was Rob’s heavy breathing as Belladonna’s voice echoed in his mind with her suggestion. He raised his head to look at Umbra. His fate rested with the bio-computer, now. What would it be: Death, or slavery?

The throne room shook with Umbra’s evil laughter. “I LIKE it!” he shouted to the crowd. “The Orbots’ Commander, a slave of Shadow! Very well, Belladonna: The Orbots’ Commander will be a slave! And, since it was your suggestion, he is your slave, to do with as you please.” Then, his voice became dangerous. “But hear this: Keep him out of my sight. I do not wish to see him ever again. The sight of him only serves to remind me of the many times he and his Orbots have defeated us. That, I cannot stomach. So keep him out of my sight, or he dies!”

“Yes, Lord Umbra,” Belladonna said, stunned at the last command. She had not expected the Orbots’ Commander to be given to her so completely. “And thank you,” she added. She forced Rob to stand again, and led him away to her quarters. Rob followed meekly, too stunned at Umbra’s show of mercy to protest.
