Hello every one! This is my first fic ever! Poor ken is my first victim! Bwahaha! Sorry if you don’t like it! Feel free to flame!

Chpt. 1- Rejection
It was a beautiful day and everyone was out, including ken, who was sitting in
the park. Yesterday Takeru, whom ken thought was avoiding him for over a month now,
had asked ken to meet him in the park and ken had been waiting for over an hour. Just as
he was beginning to think he had been forgotten, Takeru came running up. He was
breathing hard as he tried to speak, “Sorry *huff* had to *huff* finish *huff* chores!”
He collapsed on the bench and tried to catch his breath. Ken smiled, “it’s alright I love to
sit in the park by myself sometimes anyways, it was nice.” Takeru caught his breath and
decided to get to the point,” Ken I have to talk to you about something important.” Ken
was caught off guard by the urgency in his voice. “I…well…you see…I know you’re
probably not…um…” Takeru was turning very red as he tried to speak, and ken was
very confused, “oh the hell with it! Ken this has been killing me! I have to tell you! I-I
like you! As more than a friend! I love you! I’ve loved you since I met you! I’ve
wanted to tell you so bad, but I was scared! Now I just don’t care! I love you!” Ken was shocked, millions of
thoughts ran through his head, what happened next was a blur, it was all so fast. Takeru tried to kiss him.
Takeru leaned forward and ken’s hand shot up, stopping his face merely inches from his own. Ken was the
first to speak, “Takeru I don’t like you that way, I’m sorry-“No, I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have tried to…” Both of
their faces were scarlet now. It was clear to ken that Takeru was holding in the tears for all he was worth so he
smiled and said, “Hey don’t worry about it, listen, I’m sorry I don’t like you like that but this doesn’t have to
change our friendship does it?” Takeru
shook his head gently and spoke softly, “No I would hate that, can we forget about this then? I should have
n yon you weren’t gay-“Wait a-“Oh crap! I have to go! Um ok, bye ken…” Takeru ran of before ken could
finish. He was trying to say that he WAS gay, but he just liked someone else- a certain brunette goggle head…
