Blood\'s Desire
The Sequel To Sibling Rivalry
By Spiral Breeze
Prologue
The dew still clung to the morning glories, which wrapped themselves around the chain link fence. The smell of freshly cut grass lingered on the dawn breeze, mixed with the faintest tint of death. It was a subtle stench, barely noticeable, yet it was there nonetheless, and unless one knew what death smelled like, they would surely pass it off as last nights garbage. The mangled and defiled corpse of a newborn lay on the elderly woman\'s doorstep. Blood smeared the stone walkway; entrails lay splattered in the English garden among the wild flowers, and smashed cartilage was twisted and disconnected. What it was, no one knew… but it had been a living-breathing creature once. When the widow Mrs. Chatter, found the soiled mound of flesh on her doorstep, she screamed in horror yet merely dismissed it as a dead Pokémon killed and laid to rest by some practical jokers. After all, dead things were a common sight on poor old lady\'s lawns.
The police came and plopped the remaining pieces in a bag to send off to the lab for further examination. The forensics team went to work, but oddly enough, no evidence was found, as if it had been completely erased off the face of the earth…
