Midnight Rendezvous

It had been a month since life decided to give Kyo a break. He never thought it would happen, but he was finally in love. Although it's not with who one would think. Tohru was not as involved in Kyo's life as she had once been, but thats ok with him because he is accepted by someone besides her and the pain he feels in his heart has been lessening as the days go by.

Unfortunately he doesn't get to see his lover everyday which bothers him, but when they do see eachother it's magical. Do to the fact that he was the cat and was still considered an outcast they had to keep the relationship a secret. If Akito found out somehow Kyo would be put into his cage early and his lover would be severely punished. Kyo was abruptly brought out of his thoughts by the beeping of his alarm clock. It was midnight and if Kyo didn't hurry he would be late.

For the past month Kyo had been meeting his secret lover near an isolated park at midnight. It was the only way they could see eachother. They would spend hours together in eachother's presence making love and just being together. While it was unfortunate that they couldn't be together in public, Kyo was at least satisfied that they could find some time to be together. As he was walking to the park he thought about the first time he had realized he had these feelings towards this person. It was very awkward for him. He had never been in love before and he had never really been loved before (if you don't count his shishou that is, but thats a father-son love). When he was first feeling those peculiar stirrings in his stomach he wasn't sure what to make of it.

He was suddenly brought out of his thoughts when he ran into something...no make that someone. Kyo had to crane his neck just to look into the person's eyes, but he knew who it was when he saw the long dark trench coat and the tie around the man's neck. When Kyo's eyes finally stopped on the others he found himself staring at a smirking Hatori. Yes he was smirking, which was something he would rarely do for anyone else but Kyo.

Kyo opened his mouth in order to greet the older man but before he could utter the words his lips were being ravished by Hatori. Kyo pulled away surprised by his lover's brashness. Kyo was usually the one to initiate the contact. Hatori just smiled at the shocked look Kyo was giving him.

"I missed you Kyo" was all he said before he bent down a little once again claiming Kyo's lips as his own. Kyo wrapped his arms around Hatori's shoulders pushing the older man to a nearby bench causing him to sit so Kyo could straddle his lap. Hatori rested his hands on Kyo's hips and gave them a light squeeze. Oh how he missed his young lover. He really wished there was some way for them to just come out and say that they were in love but he knew there would be dire consequences if he did. Just like what had happnened with Kana. But there was something different about his relationship with Kyo. Hatori couldn't even bare the thought of having to erase Kyo's memory like he did to Kana. He didn't think he could live without the red headed fire cracker. He found himself falling more and more in love with him as the days went by. Everytime he looked into those vibrant eyes he felt himself melt.

Hatori knew he would do anything to keep Kyo safe. He wouldn't ever turn his back on him and when the time comes he will fight to keep Kyo out of the cage. Hatori looked over to see Kyo giving him a concerned look and it was only then that he realized his mind had wondered off in thought and he was not paying the attention he should be to the fiesty teen on his lap.

"Hatori is there something wrong?"

"No Kyo, everything is ok."

With that said Hatori tilted Kyo's chin up and gave him a chaste but passionate kiss. The fiesty boy immediately circled his arms around the others neck and licked at his lips begging Hatori for entrance. Hatori opened his mouth, let Kyo slide his tongue in, and then started to lap at Kyo's tongue his own. The neko moaned as he felt Hatori's tongue caress his own. This is the farthest they have ever gotten besides a little groping. Kyo wasn't sure how long he wanted to wait but Hatori always let him know that he would be there for him and could wait until Kyo wanted it to. Hatori was totally devoted to his neko and vice versa.

Hatori's hands wandered down from Kyo's hips to his thighs giving them a light squeeze. Kyo pulled back from Hatori and started to kiss down his jaw to his neck and sucked on the supple flesh. Hatori took a sharp breathe when he felt Kyo's little love bites on his neck. That boy just didn't know how he affected Hatori. Kyo brought his lips back up to Hatori's. He knew that their time together would be up soon so he wanted to savor his lover's lips as much as possible. Hatori pulled away this time to look at Kyo. The neko had grown so much in the past month, not in the physical sense, more in the emotional and spiritual sense. He was less explosive and more patient. He was also able to let Yuki's insults go and not react to them as much. Hatori was very proud of Kyo for that. He understood how hard it was for him to let it go. Hatori was shaken out of his reverie when Kyo started waving his hand infront of his face.

"What is it Kyo?"

"Sorry but I need to get back. Tohru will be up soon and if i'm not there she might panic. Plus I do need to get a little sleep before I wake up for my morning workout."

"I see. Well then you should be going. I'll see you soon."

"Bye, I-I love you...."

That seems to happen everytime they are together. Kyo is hesitant to say He loves Hatori thinking he won't reciprocate his love. Hatori just looks at his somewhat bashful neko and gives him a passionate kiss, easing his mind and letting him know he loves him.

" I love you too Kyo and don't you ever forget that."

With that said Hatori turns around and heads in the direction of the Sohma property. Kyo sticks his hands in his pockets and heads back in the direction of Shigure's house with a smile on his face. He couldn't wait until the next time he got to see his lover.

Ok so how was that? It was a bit short...sorry bout that. I was trying to be a bit more sensitive and plotty...wow that's not even a word. I plan on finishing my other story, but i've just had a major brain fart! PLEASE REVIEW! Sorry for spelling and grammar errors.

I recently went through the chapter and fixed all of the spelling and grammar errors I could find. This does not mean it will be without the errors completely, but it should be a bit easier to read! 6-2-08
