NO REST FOR EXAMS
CHAPTER ONE - PAPERS
"You sure you can handle it?" A smooth voice came through the cell phone.
"Yeah no prob. Anyway...she's only bedridden, not on her death bed."
"You need anything, call me hun..."
"Sure, bye." Tan fingers folded the phone shut, chucking it in the passengers seat. Sighing, he put
both hands on the wheel, shifting in his seat.
~~~~~
Wanted:
Someone to live in and care for elderly female. Must have medical background and flexible
schedule. Will pay generously, as well as provide living and food expenses. Apply in person, with
documentation before 5PM.
~~~~~
The spiky haired student wasn't sure what about the ad caught his attention; but he couldn't turn it
down. He wanted to take a break from school to focus on his personal life; what better way than
by becoming immersed in someone else's?
A sigh of disbelief left his lips as he pulled into the large white stoned driveway. As he exited his
car, he truly experienced the houses size. It was a mansion, had to be four or more floors. The
building itself was covered in many different black stones, the contrast of the drive and home was
striking.
"That's almost as big as the college." Intimidation began to swirl inside him.
//Bullshit, you'll be fine. Just be honest...Relax.//
The vast landscape surrounding the home was all red. Another amazing color contrast. As he
approached the main door he was sure he seen a curtain move upstairs.
//I thought she was bedridden?//
Swallowing hard, he willed his hand to ring the doorbell.
A few moments of waiting, felt like forever. Before the large door opened.
"Yes, may I help you?" The door opened to reveal an older man in black suit. Short kept white
hair framing his ears.
"Uh, hi, I'm here about the ad. I called this morning, Mugen Ryutaka." He smiled rubbing the back
of his head.
"Hmph...Fine, follow me."
//He looks like a vagrant.//
Mugen took a deep breath walking in, slowly shutting the door behind him. Everything was deep
wood or delicate porcelain. A few maids and such walked by, staring nervously. Whispers began
to fill the long and ridiculously tall halls.
"Right behind this door, the Madam is waiting for you."
"Thanks." Mugen bowed before opening the door.
"Ahh, come in young man."
"You must be Mrs. Arakawa." Mugen bowed again entering the room.
"That I am, call me Sayoko. Now, tell me why a boy your age would want to take care of an old
lady?"
"I was looking for a way to get away from school for a while, don't want to burn out. Plus having
a place to live and stuff in very nice. You seem to be a nice woman."
"It won't be easy, there's much to do..."
"Yes. Your head maid told me on the phone. She said she'd be here on the first day and night."
"I'll be honest, I liked you since we first spoke over the phone. You're not like the other stiff's who
applied." She laughed weakly. "Two weeks trial. If you like it, you may stay as long as you wish,
deal?"
"Thank you Mrs. Arakawa, you will not be disappointed." He bowed happily.
"Sayoko. Well, come give me a hug. You'll be working that boney ass off soon."

WEEK ONE
It was approaching seven days since the tan one first moved in. His duties around the house took
on instantly, and his relationship with Sayoko had strengthened. It was perfect to him. As his
hands busied themselves, his mind was free to wander.
Finishing early on the last night of the week, Mugen decided to walk around outside. He lit a
cigarette on the low-low, tossing the hood up on his red hoodie. She had said it was all right, but
he still felt guilty about smoking in the house.
Halfway to the garden he stopped, when his lighter fell from his pocket. He leaned over to
retrieve it, when blue entered his vision.
//Eh?//
He crouched down to remain hidden.
Sitting on the ground a few feet ahead, was a thin figure in blue hakama and gi. Mugen licked his
lips, as he traced the silver glasses and delicate features with his eyes.
//Wow...//
He stood and began approaching.
"Hello!" Mugen waved happily.
The pale form jumped, turing quickly.
"Sorry, didn't mean to sneak up on you."
"You. You are the one taking care of Mother." He backed up, curling his legs farther to himself.
"Mother? You mean Sayoko?" Mugen made sure to keep his voice low, as something about the
others posture made him think he felt threatened.
"Yes." He scooted away a few more inches. "You came here to sit, I shall leave you now."
"Woah, wait up. You were here first."
The pale one blinked, adjusting his glasses nervously. Shifting his eyes back to the sky.
//He certainly looks interesting...//
//He's so beautiful I can barely think...//
Mugen snubbed the cigarette, placing the butt in his empty pack.
"Do you go to school around here?"
"No. I have instructors who come to the house."
"I see..."
"I really should be going."
"Am I keeping you from something?" Mugen turned to face him.
He was chewing slightly on his index fingernail. "No, not anything in particular. It is just...I
should go." The pale one stood and began running away from the house.
"Wait, what's your name?" Mugen called out, but to no avail. "Hmmph, weird..." Sighing, he lay
on his back.
The stars were clearer out in the country. He was sure he had never seen them so bright.
//That guy was so hot.//
It had been a long time since the tan one had a real relationship. He would hook up with a few
guys at clubs occasionally, but nothing to write home about. Then there was him...his last
boyfriend. But he didn’t want to think about that right now.
//I wonder where he was going?//
Smiling, he imagined what the boy would look like with his hair down, face glowing with a deep
red blush. Panting and moaning, being fucking into a tree.
//What am I thinking?! That's my new boss' son. I couldn't...//
Despite his will he couldn't get the image out of his mind.

WEEK TWO
The two week period was up, and Mugen was even more thrilled about the job than before. It was
the last day of the week so he had the night off. Deciding to go see a movie or something, he
began towards the front door.
"Escuse me." The man in black suit stopped him.
"Yes?"
"I know you are on your way out; but would you be so kind, as to drop these papers over at the
dojo? It's right outside of Madam Arakawa's roses."
"Dojo? I had no idea..."
"Yes, well it is mostly the young master's."
"Oh, about him. I seen him last week, didn't get to catch his name."
"It's Jin. Don't mind him, he can be as cold as his Father. I must be off sir, have a wonderful
night."
"Yeah..." Mugen nodded slowly.
//Who's his Father?//
He began walking out the door and to the garden.
//Jin...Nice....Woah, stop! I thought you weren't gonna think about that?//
"Kuso..."
- - - - -
"That's hard to miss..." Mugen stopped seeing the large dojo.
//So that's where he went, why he was dressed like that...//
"Hello?" He called out.
There was no answer, so he entered the door, sliding off his geta sandals.
"Is someone there? I have some papers..."
Still no response.
"Is anyone here? If not I'll come back later..." Mugen sighed inwardly.
//I wanted to see him again...//
"Just a minute!" A very smooth voice called out from somewhere in the back.
//That voice...//
"Hey, Jin! I have some papers for you. Not sure what they are for though." Mugen smiled largely,
relishing the chance to feast his eyes on the milky splendor.
"How did you know my name?" The thin frame of the other man stepped from a back room.
"Hi. Oh, the butler guy told me."
"His name is Mitscher. Are those the documents?" A slender finger pointed to the stack in the tan
hands as he approached.
"Yes, here ya go...Is this place really yours?" Mugen turned around admiring the artwork and
scrolls. Many swords and shinai aligned the wooden walls.
Jin blinked a few times. "No. Well, yes...I mean, it was my fathers. Now it is mine." He cleared
his throat, feeling stupid for faltering.
//I have never seen anyone like him before...//
"So you can fight?" He turned back to face the pale one, smiling in a challenging way.
"I would not call it fighting, but yes in the sense you asked it."
//His eyes...//
"Cool...What are you doing tonight?"
//Stupid!!//
"Escuse me?" Jin backed up a little.
"I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound weird. It's my night off, and I was wondering if you'd like to go
out to the city with me? Not many other people around here near my age, can't see me and
Mitscher going to see Land of the Dead..."
"Land of the Dead?" Jin looked completely confused.
"It's a zombie movie, you've had to have heard of George Romero?!"
"No." Jin adverted his eyes. "I am sorry, I could not impose on you. I should remain here..."
"No way. I'm not taking no for an answer, you can't stick me with an old guy." Mugen smiled,
hoping he wasn't speaking out of line.
Jin looked torn. "I do not see what joy you would gain from having me accompany you..."
//Is he serious?//
"C'mon it will be fun. You can go dressed like that..."
//You're sexy like that, samurai boy.//
"How else would I dress?"
Something in the pale ones eyes let Mugen know he was honestly asking.
//Weird...//
"Nevermind, we can take my car. This way."
Jin felt a wave on paranoia strike him as he dragged his feet, following the spiky haired one.
- - - - -
"You sure you're all right?" Mugen couldn't help but smile.
The pale one was clutching at the seat belt hard enough to make his knuckles white. "Fine." His
voice only wavered slightly.
"Guess it's stupid to ask, but have you ever been in a car before?"
"No." Jin answered simply, looking at the many vehicles passing and moving around them. “Not
in the front seat at least.”
"I see. You've left the house before, right?"
Jin was quiet for a while before sighing. "Not in a very long time...Forgive me, I do not mean to
be dreary."
"No, not at all. I'm happy you're getting to go out then. Can't stay cooped up in that dojo all the
time, ne?"
The pale one nodded, loosening his deathgrip a little. Something about the others presence made
him feel somewhat at ease. Truthfully, he was very nervous. He had never gone out anywhere in
his life for recreational purposes, especialy a movie; he was sure he had never seen one. Plus
Mugen came off as friendly, that was something almost as forgien a concept.
"Jin?" Mugen's voice snapped him out of his daze.
"Yes?" He turned to face him quickly.
"You seem kinda spaced out, you sure you're not motion sick or anything?"
"No not at all, forgive my lack of attention. It will not happen again." He stared down at his
hands, once again feeling stupid.
//You’re already freaking him out.//
"We're almost there. Do you want to eat first or after the movie?"
"Um, it is your preference. I do not mind."
"Let's eat first...I haven't really ate anything today." Mugen sighed, taking a brief glance to the left
to see the pale one.
//I want to kiss him so bad! Pull over right now and lay it on him...//
"You really did not have to bother taking me, it seems like so much trouble."
"How do you figure that? We're both in the same area, same end destination...Don't worry so
much, I like you..."
//In more ways than one.//
"Thank you."
//He is so strange...It is as if he wants this to be a date.//
"Here we are..."
- - - - -
"That's disgusting!" Jin covered his mouth, as his wide eyes stared at the screen.
"Nah, that's cool as fuck...He's just gnawing on his own arm." Mugen laughed watching the
zombie stare blankly.
"I cannot look at it..." Pale hands covered his eyes loosely.
Mugen had to sigh softly. Dinner was quiet, awkward, and less than informative. The movie
however was at least getting a reaction.
"Why not just cut them?" Jin finally opened his eyes.
"They ain't got no skill. Heh, plus guns are louder in a theater."
"Eww! " He gasped again as a whole corner of bowel feasting zombies was revealed.
"You must be sick to enjoy this..." There was a slight smile on the thin lips.
"Yep." Mugen smiled as seductively as he could. Hoping the darkness would hide it. "Personally
I've seen so many like this, it's almost impossible to shock me anymore. It's nice to see what's
supposed to be frightening."
"I did not say it was frightening, just disgusting." Jin turned and their eyes met.
In the low light both eyes seemed to glow slightly, his glasses causing the light to reflect. Mugen
slowly reached a hand out and brushed the inky bangs back.
"W-what?" Jin froze.
"Shhh..." Mugen leaned over the small space and pressed his warm lips to the tense ones.
He felt Jin gasp and took the opportunity to rub his tongue over the silky one inside. Smiling into
the kiss as he felt the tense body begin to calm.
Mugen pulled back to allow breath to return to the pale one.
"I'm sorry. I've wanted to do that since I first saw you..."
Jin stared in shock, touching his lips. His whole body felt as if it was tingling.
"What was that?"
"I kissed you."
"I know, I mean why?!"
"Because you're so beautiful." Mugen smiled again.
Even in the dark light the tan one could see the blush begin to cover the pale face.
"But...I am a male."
"And I'm gay."
Jin swallowed hard. "You mean you like other males?"
Mugen nodded, finding his chaste response adorable.
"Is that sort of thing possible? I have never heard of it before...Just in old books."
"Oh it's possible. I don't know what you prefer, but I'm honest when I say you're beautiful."
//I...I do not know what I prefer.//
Jin began chewing on his index finger again.
"I know a way you can tell. It's almost deserted in here...Let's make out."
"Make out?"
"I don't know, kiss and stuff...If you don't like it we can stop." Mugen brought another hand over
to caress the smooth face just inches from his own.
Every moral principle in his life told him to say no, but he found himself nodding in agreement.
Before he had time to debate his decision the warm lips were wrapped around his again, this time
with more force.
As the rest of the theater gasped and screamed at the blaring movie, the quiet sounds in the back
row were nonexistent. Jin felt a moan try to force it's way past his clenched teeth; as Mugen's hand
dipped down to grab his core, through the fabric of his hakama.
"You're so wound up...I can feel how bad you need release...You've been up there in that dojo all
alone..." Mugen whispered into the pale ear as he teasingly rubbed the rapidly firming flesh.
"Mu...gen..." Jin tried as hard as he could to remain silent, fear of being caught creeping into his
mind.
"I'm gonna give you head, right here..." Mugen smiled crazily before situating himself on his
knees, between Jin and the seat.
"Head?" Jin looked confused again, as he watched the tan hands untied his red belt. Beginning to
pull some of the blue fabric down. "Mugen?! What are you doing, we are in public?!" He
whispered in shocked worry.
"Calm down. Just try to be quiet and we won't get caught, ne? Now..." Mugen sighed, pulling the
semi-errect organ from it's prison.
Jin bit his lip as the cold fingers wrapped around him, nervously glancing at the others around
them. They seemed distracted, so he closed his eyes.
//Have you lost your mind?!//
Mugen took another second to absorb the moment, before placing his lips around the smooth head.
"Uh.." Jin gasped covering his mouth. He had no idea what the other was thinking, but never
expected anything like that.
//He's...//
Wasting no time, Mugen began running his tongue up and down the quivering shaft. Causing the
form in the chair to squirm mercilessly. His breathing was now a rapid pant, as the tan one sucked
harder, running his tongue over the small slit.
"Oh my God!" He screamed.
Luckily everyone else was doing the same at the moment. Mugen laughed, just making the pale
one moan more.
//Fate always seems to be in my favor.//
"Oh...Mugen..." Jin reached his hands down, to shakily play with the mass of brown hair.
//This is incredible...//
His thin thighs began to shake. He felt helpless to protest as the tan one took one of his legs,
placing it over his shoulder to get a better angle. Now anyone with eyes, could see what was
going on, but they were too enthralled with the screen to care. Jin felt his eyes begin to slip back a
few times as he sank into the seat and Mugen's ministrations. His other leg promptly adjusted just
like the other.
"Ohh...ooh..." He felt all his control leave him as the building wave became stronger.
Grabbing hard onto the seat next to him, his entire being shattered into a thousand shards.
Breathing became a task as he felt a soft tickling tongue clean up his moment of weakness.
Before he knew it Mugen was sitting next to him again, after retying his hakama politely. Jin felt
like his body was made of water as he leaned heavy onto the tan shoulder.
"That, that was life altering..." He sighed smiling.
"Damn, never been told that one."
"Please...May I stay like this until we have to leave? If it would not be too much to ask..." There
was much fear and apprehension in his voice.
Mugen turned slowly and took one of the shaking hands in his own. "You shouldn't have to ask
that, of course you can..." Mugen felt amazed he even had to say that.
//What's with this guy?//
"You are much too kind. Domo." He practically yawned, closing his eyes.
Mugen sighed, sliding his arm around the small frame.
"You're really sweet, I've never met anyone like you before. I'm sorry if I make you feel weird,
but some of what you say is weird to me too." The former med student smiled as he realized Jin
was asleep.
//Over 25 lovers and you've never had one pass out like that...//
The peacefulness of the moment caused Mugen to fall into sleep as well, as the sounds of zombies
feasting filled the room.
- - - - -
"Oi, lovebirds!" A gruff voice called, clacking a large flashlight on the chair.
"Huh?" Mugen snapped awake, rubbing his eyes.
"Wake the fuck up and go home, we're closed baka's!" The man screamed before taking off.
"Fucking tried to wake them for hours! Damn freeloaders..."
"Hey, Jin...Wake up...It's time to go..." He nudged the sleeping form clinging to him, marveling at
it's beauty.
"Rib..." Jin winced sitting up, he had fallen asleep laying on the chair arm.
"Heh, c'mon before they call the cops on us." Mugen laughed getting up stiffly. Looking at his
watch he determined they had been asleep for 3 hours. "Damn..."
"It is all right, there's no set time to return..."
"You're right."
The two began walking outside, it looked like a wasteland. No one was in the parking lot but
them. This time Jin decided the car was comforting, it was much better than walking.
//I cannot stay awake...//
He found himself drifting off again to the soft lull of the tires on the road.
Mugen took every chance he could to stare at the sleeping brunette. His mind was racing with the
fact he probably gave the boy the thrill of his life. Hell, he couldn't stay awake.
//Life altering? I wonder what he meant by that?//
More than that the tan one wondered if he would have the chance to do more, or even a repeat
performance. He wasn't going to rush this. It was Sayoko's son, he couldn't anger or frighten him.
//I'll let him set the pace as much as possible. Tonight was do or die.//
Not really having any other plans or funds, Mugen decided to go home. Besides, he thought,
getting Jin to his room was going to be hard enough.
//But so so worth it.//

//His eyes...//
"Cool...What are you doing tonight?"
//Stupid!!//
//Is he serious?//
"C'mon it will be fun. You can go dressed like that..."
//You're sexy like that, samurai boy.//
"How else would I dress?"
Something in the pale ones eyes let Mugen know he was honestly asking.
//Weird...//
//You’re already freaking him out.//
"We're almost there.
//In more ways than one.//
//I...I do not know what I prefer.//
//Have you lost your mind?!//
Mugen took another second to absorb the moment, before placing his lips around the smooth head.
"Uh.." Jin gasped covering his mouth. He had no idea what the other was thinking, but never
expected anything like that.
//He's...//
//This is incredible...//
//What's with this guy?//
//I cannot stay awake...//
//But so so worth it.//
END CHAPTER ONE
((So, what do you think? I have more written, I just wanted to see how this went over first. It has
been very interesting writing this piece, for better or worse. AU can be fun if you're not afraid to
