I do not own Card Captor Sakura, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Alone
Ok this is just kinda an experiment on whether or not I should write
fanfics at all…as of right now this has no smut, and is about a year old…I found it the
other day and decided to type it out and submit it…so…it’s up to the reviews yes or no…continue
or not…you decide….plus I don’t own any of the characters, though I doubt anyone would sue me
over them because all they would get is my anime collection, forty dollars, and some subway
stamps….
He sat there in the dark, all alone, just listening to the sound of his own breath.
In…out…in…out…It was enough to make anyone go crazy, but he wasn’t just anyone. He was used to
being alone, shunned by the others because they saw no purpose for him. They were right, even he
couldn’t seem to find his purpose in life, but that didn’t matter much. He was thinking of one
thing…of one person. One person that he could never get close to even though Clow had made him,
Yue was used to being alone by now. He was only a few months old, and had all the knowledge in
the world. At first he strived to be alone, to ponder things on his own speed, but that had one
nasty side effect. Kero, Spinel, and Ruby Moon all thought that he hated them thus plunging him
deeper into his seclusion. And Clow was always busy, not that Yue was mad for that.
(He was the most powerful magician after all and had other business other than his creations)
But Yue was lonely…He stepped out of the room, his bare feet touching the wood floor to soft to
be noticed, and walked down the hallway to the only door that had light coming from it, the
Library. It was Clow’s favorite room he would spend hours just reading, he would even fall
asleep in his chair with a book on his chest. Yue carefully opened the door hoping that this
was another one of those occasions, because then Yue could look at his master without fear.
It’s not like Yue was afraid of Clow himself, he was afraid of the rejection he would most
certainly receive if Clow ever got the hint of Yue’s love for him.
He gently pushed the door open a little more, careful to not be noticed, just in case
that Clow might still be awake. Yue felt a slight smile creep across his face when he saw his
master snoring lightly in a big armchair with a book draped over his lap. He took the book and
placed in on its proper spot in the huge library then went back to his master to take him to bed.
It was a nightly routine by now; Yue would take Clow to his bed, dress him in his night clothes,
cover him up, kiss him on the cheek, and leave after whispering a good night. Yue’s arms were
around Clow’s waist, just about to lift him up, when Clow opened his eyes and smiled. Yue gasped
and dropped him back onto the chair.
“I-I’m sorry, Master!” Yue said blushing with his eyes on his own feet, but Clow only
chuckled and patted the arm of the chair. Yue stood there not sure what to do.
“Yue…please, sit.” Clow smiled as Yue balanced himself on the plush arm of the chair
and tried to get his pony tail out of Clow’s lap, but it wouldn’t budge. Yue looked at his hair
in alarm only to find his master holding it gently, “You have such fine hair…” He put Yue’s hair
up to his face and inhaled deeply, “It smells…so wonderful…” Yue’s face turned crimson as Clow
rubbed the silver hair in his hand gently against his cheek, “..and very soft…” Yue had no idea
what to say to his master as he rubbed his hair back and forth against his face.
“M-master…you should go...go to bed.” Yue said as he gently tugged at his hair, trying
to get Clow to release it.
“It’s softer than any silk I have ever owned…” Clow replied obviously not listening to
Yue.
“M-m-master…you n-need sleep.” Yue said once more a little louder, and this time caught
Clow’s attention.
“I’d prefer it if you called me Clow…” Yue nodded his head blushing even more.
“I-if you would like me to Mas-..Clow.” Clow smiled in response leaving open a silence
that tore at Yue’s heart. Did Clow know that it was Yue who put him to bed every night? Did Clow
know about the good night kisses? Did Clow know how much Yue loved him? No…he couldn’t…Yue shivered,
and Clow stared into his eyes. Yue pretended to be preoccupied with his shirt, feeling the
fabric between his fingers, trying with all his might not to look up into Clow’s mesmerizing
eyes. Eventually he did look up again expecting Clow to be staring at him, but instead Clow was
looking out the window with the saddest expression on his face. “Is something wrong, M-Clow?”
Clow looked at Yue and sadly smiled.
“No…do not worry yourself over my problems…Now…it’s getting late.” He lifted Yue off of
him and gently held the angel in his arms, “I know how irritable you can be when you don’t get
enough sleep…” Yue couldn’t talk, he didn’t know what to do…was this an invitation to Clow’s bed?
The thought made his whole face turn crimson, but then Clow placed him on the chair and started to
walk out of the room. “Good night, Yue…”
“Good night, Master…” Clow gave that sad smile again then turned and left the room,
leaving Yue to figure out what the hell just happened.
