(they are based off of my game characters. kate is from emerald. ami is from ruby. amanda is from crystal. i\'m a guy i just like to use girl characters. its the same in quake, red faction, tribes... and so on)

Girl play in later chapters, but for a while it will be reasonably clean.

Kate was relaxing on her own priavate island on route 110 where she had built her treehouse.
A few hours from mauville City wasn\'t that big a deal, not for her anyway. besides,
if she had any trouble she could fly of call for help.

She looked back and saw that her pokemon were too enjoying this day of rest.
leveling up for the league was hard work.
Combined with filling up her pokedex and participating in contests, she needed t, and so did they.
She smiled and lay back on the brach when her pokenav went off.
She guddingly dropped down onto the platfor an headed inside. \"Where is that thing\"
She said digging through the things in the room, Which was rather neat for her.
It went off again and she found it in an open pokeball.
\"Hello?\" She asked.
\"Hi Kate! it\'s Ami\" Came a voice from the other side.
\"Ami, How are you?\" Kate said cheerily.
\"I\'m fine. i\'m heading towards mauville, I\'ll be there tomorrow around five pm at this pace.
kate cringed. Every time Ami said she was fine meant she needed help and didn\'t want to ask for it.
\"Well, I\'m only a few hours away from Mauville. How \'bout I meet you at the pokecenter?\"
\"That would be great. See you.\"
\"Sure thing.\" Kate said before Ami hung up.

\"She said she was fine, she\'s okay.\" kate told hersalf as she gathered a few things on her way out.
\"Who am I kidding? Last time she said she was fine her dad was lost at sea.\" She closed the door and locked it.
\"Of course they found him. Stranded on an island with a broken arm, but he was alright. But Ami was at my house every day, crying.\"
She slid down the support post which, for her, doubled as somewhat of a way down.
\"Thing came in handy for more than holding up that porch.\" She smiled and then announced.
\"Okay everyone, we\'re going to Mauville.\"
Her pokemon\'s happy faces turned into ones of disappointment.
\"Don\'t worry. We\'re going to meet a friend of mine. She will be there tomorrow around five,
untill then I\'ll take you shopping. Sound good?\"
With that the smiles returned to their faces and they all ran to her.
Once everyone was in their pokeballs she removed her clothes and put them, along with her pack, in a waterproof bag.
She hopped in the water and made the short swim across the lake, redressed then headed off towards mauville.
