Thoughts of regret

Why couldn\'t I see?
Before it was too late
The cause of my actions
Letting your heart to break
I am truely sorry
I\'m such a fool
I didn\'t mean to
But that won\'t change anything
I have to face the consequences
And live with these memories
Of you and I together
From good times and bad
But now these moments are gone
along with every part of you
Why didn\'t I notice?
I was blinded from the truth
The truth of your suffering
I wish I could turn back time
Just to change every mistake
To be together with you again
But that is a mere dream
My reality is you left me
I must live with these regrets
The last thing I wanted to say
Something I never told you before
Just three small words
That could have changed everything
Words the would express my heart
Before it was too late
I wish I could have told you
That I love you
