Deep Forest
I thought a Li-En X Wonrei fic would make a nice WAFF story. Be kind, I suck at lemons. This was written mostly cus I need practice at writing lemons. Over-all its more lime than lemon. I try not to use appalling words, you know the words I’m referring to, so I don’t need to say them here (lol)

Deep Forest (one shot)
_______________________________________________________
The forest was a kaleidoscope of shadows and color. The late afternoon sky hinted at dusk, tints of orange and deep blue hues filtered through the lush green canapé above. The leaves sparkled with dew. It rained around noon and the misty droplets clung to the foliage and sprinkled to the earth below.
Wonrei walked a few paces ahead of his partner, Li-En. He looked over his shoulder taking glimpses to see if she were safe. She wore emerald green silk brocade over black pants, dark colors to remain hidden in the forest. Wonrei wore mostly black too. They wanted to remain concealed until they both regained their full strength. It was also Li-En's idea to survive off the land for a while. She saw it as a test, a test she was currently failing.
She released a tired sigh, and collapsed to her knees; “Can’t we stop for a few moments, Wonrei?”
He looked up at the sky it was getting quite dark. A quick inhale of air told his mamodo senses that rain was not in the forecast. "Let's spend the night here." He walked toward her and took her pack. The silver-hair mamodo sat his down along with hers under a large oak tree. Wonrei quickly returned to Li-En and knelt in front of her. He gently laid a cool hand to her forehead. "You feel a little warm..."
"I'm alright," She said, and then whispered something incoherent. After the last mumbled syllable, she fainted. With a gasp, Wonrei caught the petite girl in his arms before she collapsed upon the fern-coated forest floor. Nervously, he shook her and captured her face with a free hand. "Li-En..." She was breathing. To Wonrei's relief, it was only exhaustion. He carried her to a small clearing to lay her down on the thick pad of soft ferns. The green fronds engulfed her, wrapping her in ticklish warmth.
Wonrei cleared away some ground, creating a pit and lined it with rocks. He placed some firewood into the hole and used some matches to start a fire. By this time, the sky had gone completely dark. Thanks to his acute senses, he could see quite well in any light, even the moonlight.
He returned his attentions to his partner, who lay sullen in her sleep. The mamodo searched his bag and retrieved a bottle of water. He popped the spout and squeezed a little into Li-En's mouth. She swallowed and cracked her eyes open.
"How are you feeling?" His deep voice rumbled through his chest and against her ear. Li-En sighed and sat up. "I'm sorry..."
He lightly snickered, "Why are you sorry?" and handed her the bottle of water.
Li-en placed the bottle to one side, leaned forward and gathered her knees to her chest. "For fainting."
"You were tired." Wonrei replied while turning his attention away to stoke the fire with a stick.
"I feel like I'm failing you," Li-En rested her head on the crutch of her knees. Wonrei looked at her from the corner of one eye for a split second; he turned and reached for her, grabbing her, pushing her to the ground beneath his body. She turned her face toward the warm glow of the campfire. "Don't."
He gripped her wrists in one hand and pushed them above her head. "Dammit, look at me!"
"No..."
"I'm not going to let you go until you tell me what's wrong!"
She turned to him, tears streaming down her cheeks. "I'm going to lose you someday." She took at deep breath, trying to control her emotions. To no avail, she wept. Wonrei's blue eyes shifted. He did not know what else to do. She was right; he would leave her one day. All that mattered were the moments he could spend with her now.
"Li-En..." Wonrei gruffly called. "Look at me... I am but a simple Mamodo. I cannot read your mind."
"And I am...a human..."
"Does that matter?" Wonrei asked.
"No..."
Moonlight had long replaced the sun; casting silver beams upon the treetops. Stars filled the sky. Li-En could see them through the openings in the forest ceiling. She focused on a single star that was pastel blue in color. He took her face with both his hands. Wonrei gritted his teeth together in frustration; he was quite irritated because she was ignoring him.
The blue flame of his eyes drew her back to him. Li-En reached out and touched Wonrei's silvery mane. It was thick and soft like fur, but it was hair-like human hair. Everything about him was human-like except his strange eyes and hair color. His body looked and acted male. His attraction to her was prominent and pressed hard to her inner thigh. She could feel him; his body heat sailed through her, his scent invaded her senses.
"Let me go..." She chimed. "We can't..."
"Why? Has your heart changed?" Wonrei asked.
"Because, it will hurt when you leave." Wonrei could no longer resist the temptation. He captured her lips with his own. Her body went from rigid to lithe and pressed against his. She wanted this and needed it as much as he did.
Wonrei gave her words consideration. ~ What is the difference between human and mamodo? Power, a power, which in this realm humans control. Our physiology is practically the same. Some mamodos are freakish looking, but most are rather human, so much so that it is hard to tell. One day, he would return to his world and, if in his power, if he were to become king. She would be at his side. ~
His face went slack; his lips caressed her ear, his chin rested against the curve of her shoulder. "When I'm king, if I'm King, I will make it possible for you to come with me. I will make it possible! I don't care how." Li-En gasped against his neck. "You will be my Queen."
"Wonrei..."
His lips touched her forehead. "Your temperature is gone." He moved away from her and sat in front of the campfire. "There is a stream behind us, just beyond that row of trees. You can wash there if you like." Li-En nodded.
As she turned to leave, he whispered, "I will protect you always."
She smiled and turned away, walking toward the background. On the way, she thought of Wonrei's passionate plea. It gave her a new hope for the future. She would gladly give up everything in the human world and go to the mamodo realm with him. And if she couldn't, she would search for a way to go there.
Wonrei was right; there was a stream and a pool of water. She dipped one hand in the temperature was perfect. The water was warm, as if a hot spring fed it. Li-En undressed and waded out into the water. The water came waist high and lapped at her skin, slopping and splashing. The coolness against her flesh caused her to shiver, even with the water above sixty degrees. It was still cold against her sweaty, pale skin.
The silver-hair mamodo sat Indian-style, legs carefully folded into a nest shape. He gingerly poked at the fire with a stick, stoking the flames higher. It was a mild night, but a little too humid for his liking. With little rain, it caused the air to be clammy. Wonrei took off his top and neatly folded it. He placed it on top his pack, just over his pastel purple book.
Li-En moved through the water completely use to the temperature. Just then... something slimy wrapped around her ankle. She shuddered and didn't move, at least not at first. Her footing slipped and the move caused the foreign object to snake tighter around her leg. Unsure of what it was, she screamed in terror and her body stilled with fright.
"Wonrei!"
He looked over his shoulder. Li-En screamed again. He bounded from his sitting position and raced toward the sound of water, peeling away his shoes. He stood before the pool, taking note she was safe. "What's the matter?" He asked.
"There's something wrapped around my ankle." She hesitated. "I can't move."
"Is it a snake?" He asked.
"I think it’s a vine," Li-En replied. "Could you make sure?"
She kept her body turned, making sure he could not see her silhouette under the water. Wonrei removed the rest of his clothing and waded out to meet her. He dove under the water and released her ankle. It was a simple task. She probably could have remedied it on her own. It was just a mere vine as she thought. She had snagged onto it while wading. He stood back up, flipped his wet hair back and wiped water away from his face.
When she calmed, Wonrei moved back toward the shore. "Hurry up... It's getting late." His voice was gentle as always. He did not sound the least angry by her false alarm.
"Wonrei, don't..." She rested a hand on one of his muscular shoulders. He turned around and latched onto her, holding her against his solid frame. He was warm, heavenly warm. All of his skin was as soft hers except his hands. His hands were calloused from the hours of kung-fu training, his wrists were still healing from the rough treatment he received while held captive by her Father.
He kissed her brow and the tip of her nose. A breath landed hotly on her lips. Strong but sensual fingers wound into the thick hair at the base of her nape, his other hand touched her lower back. His rough fingertips slid up and down the length of her spine, earning him a gentle shudder. Wonrei leaned forward, tilting her head to one side. He licked the water away from her collar using just the tip of his tongue. He watched the droplets of water leak from her hair, down her shoulder and chest. The tiny tear drizzled over the bud of her left nipple and dropped into the water below.
Instinct set in, he leaned over and licked a thin trail to her breast and lapped at the straining nub. He took it into his mouth, letting the pallet of his tongue delight it. The texture of the muscle grated against it until she writhed under his touch. He turned and gave the other the same attention and retreated to her mouth.
The kiss was complete rapture; their eyes closed at the casual touch of parted lips. The slow, seductive slide of exploring tongues and an occasional gasp for a fleeting breath mingled with moans of utter desire.
Li-En placed her palms to his chest, taking in every inch of hard muscle: running graciously over hard pecks, down his sides only to feel hard muscle of his rib cage, up his back to strong tense shoulders, only to rake her short fingernails down rippling muscles.
His hands slid down her spine, gripping the back of her thighs. He brought her up from the water, curling her legs around his hips. Carefully, he walked toward a mass of rocks rising from the edge of the shore, with water sloshing around them; he sat her down onto the steely foundation. Each ripple of dark water rolled onto the rocks, landing between her legs and rush out until Wonrei closed the distance.
Moving away from her lips, he pressed his forehead to her chest, gathering every ounce of resistance; his body screamed to take her. His hands rested on the tops of her thighs and a heated breath landed upon the valley between her breasts.
"Lay back." She complied with his throaty demand. She lay back against the rocks, only to feel the planes of his rough palms moving excruciatingly slow up the inseam of her thighs. Li-En bit into her lower lip and gasped. A steamy pant landed upon the cool skin of the soft triangle at the crest of her thighs. With a touch of his tongue, he had her writhing beneath him. Under his ministrations, the tip of his tongue encountered a tiny pearl. Each time he stroked the minuscule jewel, Li-En thrashed.
Her hands laced through his hair, feeling the soft mane weave between her fingers. Just when she thought she could take no more, he added a finger, pressing the tip of his index to her center. It slid in, parting through the wetness and keeping perfect rhythm with his mouth.
Something was building, the feeling spread from between her thighs to the pit of her stomach below her navel. Behind closed lids, she saw starlight and tides of silver. Just as she was about to release, a pressure formed inside her opening. It was slow and her walls stretched to accommodate the fullness. A pang of pain made tears form at the corners of her eyes. When she opened them and looked, Wonrei was leaning over her; his head resting calmly on her shoulder, his body was shaking. Every muscle was tense and he gritted his teeth.
Li-En moved against him, taking as much of his length as she could. She gasped, "How does it feel?"
He looked up at her, groaning. He leaned close, touching his forehead to hers. "So tight and warm." His arms enveloped her. With his gaze lowered to their union, he watched their bodies move as one.
The slow steady pace of his movements caused the feelings in her abdomen to build again, stronger than before. Each thrust shook her to the core, each strong movement of his hips made a sharp growl rumble in his throat. It became primal; they looked for one thing- to be complete. His lips captured hers with one quick swoop. His hands grappled her hips, pulling her so close their thrusts were just grinding frenzy. She lowered her hands to his bottom and gave it a light squeeze. She clung to him, feeling the sensation over come her entire body. She shook, gasping and moaning. His name spilled a million times from her lips. With a sharp grunt, he spilled into her, filling her completely with his seed.
When it was over, Wonrei withdrew from her, but he still held onto her. He lightly kissed her forehead, sighing at the gratification he felt in every region of his body. "Are you all right?"
"Mmmm-hmmm," She blushed.
"No more doubts?"
"No more doubts," Li-En whispered.
Tomorrow was going to be a fresh new day. With renewed spirit, they both looked forward to the morning, prepared for what ever it was they were going to face. They will face it together...
