My story? Well, it’s pretty normal as stories go. It’s got mystery, love, and the supernatural. Jus about everything that makes a good story good. It’s chock full of choices and fights, and lots of death. Including my own.
That must come as quite a surprise to you. I must have forgotten to tell you before. My name is Shido, and I’m dead. Actually, that’s a bit of an over exaggeration. Technically, I’m undead. No. I’m not a Nightbreed. I’m something far far worse. I’m a vampire. But I wasn’t always one. I was once as human as you. And that’s where I start this story.
Like I said, it’s pretty much like any other tale of it’s kind. It starts off on a chilly, foggy London night. Then again, London was always like that in those days. Either chilly, or foggy, or rainy, or… well, you get the idea. Anyway; London at night. It never ceased to amaze me at how dismal that place could be. It was always a place almost foreign to me, thought I had lived there all my life.
It really started with an investigation in the wrong part of town. But, I’d rather tell you this in a third person omnipresent sort of way. This way, I can tell you and still remain impartial to the events that lead to my death and my new life.
