This story contains characters that are the property of Game Freak and Nintendo. Valdrade is based on a character that Ace Sanchez created. Being an Anti-AAML fan, I was disappointed in the last part of Ace's story even though I recommend it to anyone who likes long multi-part fics. Valdera should have ended up with Ash. Valdrade is similar in appearance, but her personality is totally different. This was a long one shot that I couldn't find a decent place to split the thing. This and it's sequel will be posted as a two part story.

A black haired teenage boy was lying asleep on his bed with his most loyal pokemon at his side, his Pikachu. This boy was the runner-up of the Johto League finals. It had been the furthest he had ever gotten in a League sanctioned event. Now, he was just snoozing away without a care in the world.
"Ash honey, breakfast is ready! Don't forget to change your "you know whats"!" A female voice called from downstairs.
The boy rolled over and yawned. Ash Ketchem had just woken up from what some people would consider a comatose sleep.
This is because he was so hard to get up in the mornings. The only thing that could get him up in the mornings is the smell of food, or the announcement that food was ready to be eaten. His Pikachu stirred and yawned.
"Mornin' buddy," Ash says as he changes into a black shirt and jeans.
"Mornin' Ash," Pikachu says stretching and hopping onto the floor to follow his master to the dining room for breakfast.

"Ash, what will you be doing today?" his mother asks as she watches her son devour another stack of pancakes.
Ash groans inwardly as he wipes his face. For the past two weeks he has been doing a lot of chores for his mother. He had to find a way out of doing more work and there was only one thing he could think of doing.
"I was going to Professor Oak's to check on my other pokemon." Ash says glad to be able to do something that didn't involve cleaning or gardening.
"Well, have a good time," Delia Ketchem says.
"I will, mom!" he says running out of the door before his mother could tell him to pick up something from somewhere that would be so heavy that he would need one of his pokemon to help him.
"He left before I could ask him to pick up another 150lbs bag of fertilizer, oh well, I'll get it myself" she says to herself.

"That was close, Pikachu," Ash says relieved that he was able to escape.
"Why did you leave the others at the preserve?" Pikachu asks.
"They had a hard and long battle through the Johto League tournament, they deserve to be out of their pokeballs."
"Where did Brock and Misty go?" Pikachu asks.
"Brock went back to Puter to see his family again, and Misty had to take over the gym for her sisters."
"You sound as if you are relieved that Misty is gone back home." Pikachu says looking at his master.
"I am, Pikachu. We might have gotten along there for a while, but we would've gotten into a fight somehow. She always criticizes me about almost everything I do. I wish that I had a girl traveling companion that would stand by me instead of looking like she stands by me. She probably still wants me to pay for the bike that saved your life. I don't want a fan-girl, but I don't want another Misty following me around." Ash says falling into somewhat of a depression."
"Cheer up, at least you've only had to do chores for your mother instead of doing some dangerous mission for Lance." Pikachu says trying to cheer up his trainer.
Ash smiles at that comment. What not even his closest friends knew was that he had been approached by Lance after the center at Viridian exploded from that attack that Jessie and James made in order to get the pokemon inside. Apparently Lance knew of his father who had been the one to get Lance into training in the first place. Lance says that Ash had potential to be as great as his dad was, but Lance wanted him to not go through the ranks of trainers so fast. That would alert Giovanni that Alex had a son. So he had to act like a dumb rookie. This seemed to be working especially when Charizard first evolved. It just wouldn't listen to him. It was that and Team Rocket's interference before his match with Richie that cost him the Indigo League Championship. During his adventures in the Kanto region he had went on secret missions to help Lance defeat the Rockets. When he left for the Orange League he lost contact with Lance. He then met back up with the dragon master when the red Gyrados was being threaten by Team Rocket. Afterwards he had said that there may be a mission that could be the most dangerous, but it was also the best chance to bring down the criminal organization. This would take place after the Johto contest. His instincts were telling him that Lance would show up sometime soon.

Samuel Oak knew a lot of things about pokemon. If he didn't then he would have never been given the title of professor in the first place. He knew of trainers who had to let their pokemon back into the wild, a few were lucky to get back maybe one of those that a trainer let back into the wild if said trainer had let more than one go. Ash was one of those that let several go back into the wild or let them go back to their friends like in the case of Squirtle, or let them train with others of his species like Charizard. It was a surprise to Oak when not only did Charizard come back, but every single one of Ash's pokemon came back. Ash was elated to know that even his Butterfree had found his way back to him. Oak on the other hand could only think of one reason why Ash's pokemon had returned to him. They had become so loyal to the boy that they could not stand not being by his side in battle. Although Squirtle came back as a Blastoise. The other possible reason that they all had returned was because they felt that Ash would be in danger soon. That was impossible because what trouble could Ash get in? Then he heard an explosion and saw those two members of Team Rocket that had been chasing Ash from one side of the continent all the way to the other side were here again wanting Ash's Pikachu.

"Hand over da Pikachu ya twirp. Witout your friends ta back ya up ya don't stand a chance against us." Meowth says with Arboc and Weezing ready for battle.
"I suggest you change your tune, Meowth. If you haven't noticed, you're staring down a small army of pokemon including Pikachu!" Ash says as at least over a dozen pokemon stood in front of him.

"WAAAbaffet!!!!" Wobbuffet says as it comes out of its pokeball.

"Go Victreebel!" James says as he throws out his plant type, but as usual, the plant type snacks on James's head.
"Get off of me!" James says as his head is devoured by his Victreebel.
"You guys never learn. I'll just have to give you a lesson that you'll never forget. Kingler, Totodile, give them a soaking." Ash commands and the crab and crocodile pokemon shoot jets of water towards the rockets. They thought that the twirp would blast them off with Pikachu, but the lesson was not over.
"Charizard, Cindaquill, use your flamethrower to dry them off." Ash tells his two fire types and the two blow streams of fire at the group, but it wasn't over yet.
"Bulbasaur, Bayleef, whip 'em with your vine whip, then use razor leaf to cut them down." Ash says and the two plant types whip the pair of humans and their pokemon. Then they threw sharp leaves which cut into the attacking rockets. Ash, however, was not done with them.
"Torros, hit them with take down, Phanfy, hit them with tackle, and Muck, smother them with your body slam." Ash says smirking as his bull pokemon crashes into them with Phanfy right behind. Muck then let them have it with its body slam.
"Blastoise, hydropump!" Ash shouts and the giant turtle takes aim with its canons and almost drowns the rockets.
"Now, Pikachu, use thunder." Ash says and the electric rodent shocks the group blasting them away.
"Very good, that'll keep them off you while you go on this mission." a voice says from behind Ash.
"Lance, I knew you would be coming sooner or later. Although, I would have preferred it to be later."
"Sorry for spoiling your vacation."
"No problem, this is more important anyway. I just don't know what I'll tell my mother."
"Just tell her that you're running an errand for me."
"I guess that'll work since she knows that I've met you."
"You've probably been wondering what this mission could be, well here it is. We have a good chance of sneaking someone into their main headquarters by disguising them as a black rocket."
"This is dangerous but what does it have to do with me?" Ash asks getting a little worried.
"The rocket that was nabbed looks a lot like you, Ash."
"I think I know Where you are going with this."
"We've been able to take his uniform, his rocket ID card, and have rehabilitated three of his pokemon. They'll now listen to you." Lance says handing Ash a duffel bag.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Go to Black Island, gather all information and report it to me via the special phone that I've put in that bag."
"How long do you want me to stay?"
"Until the day I can gather enough trainers to join up to attack the base." Lance explains.
"That could take months!"
"Don't worry, Giovanni has never seen the face of this rocket agent, and he has a number of friends that could mistaken him for you if you wear that uniform."
"All right, but if I'm caught, I'm screwed."
"Just don't stir the pot too much, Ash."
"I won't," Ash says and watches as Lance lets loose his Dragonite and flies away.
'That Lance, what will happen when you have to tell Ash who killed his father? You better make sure that he does not find out the hard way. This is ridiculous, sending such a young trainer to do an adult's job, although Ash has shown in the past that he can handle these high pressure situations. Good luck, Ash.' Oak thinks to himself as he watches Ash leave with Pikachu and Charizard and Blastoise's pokeballs.

Ash was in the backyard holding up the three ultraballs that contained unknown pokemon. He looked towards Pikachu, Charizard, and Blastoise to see if they were ready in case the three attacked their new master.
"Ultraballs...go!" Ash shouts and the three balls open up to reveal their contents. What came out of the first ball was the scariest looking Gengar that Ash had ever seen. It was black with its red eyes and white teeth gleaming in sharp contrast to the rest of its body. The second pokemon was an Alakazam that was holding a shiny metal spoon. It studied Ash like a lab rat trying to determine whether this human was friend or foe. The third and last was the most impressive of all three of them. A Dragonite stood tall and proud over all the pokemon. It was the biggest one of its species that Ash had ever seen. The Alakazam held up a hand to the other two telling them that this human was the one that the one named Lance told them about.
"Ash, the Dragonite is female," Pikachu commented.
"How can you tell?" Ash asks.
"Charizard is trying to show off in front of her."
Ash sweats at that comment. He then shakes it off to address his three new pokemon.
"I am Ash Ketchem, your new trainer. I know that you were with a human that was not very nice, but I can guarantee that I won't mistreat you. What I can't guarantee is the fact that you'll never have to see Team Rocket again. I've been assigned to infiltrate the main rocket base. I must only act like your former master, but I'm not like him at all."
The Alakazam seemed to be holding a conference with the other two pokemon through its psychic abilities. Charizard and Blastoise tensed up thinking that the three would not listen to Ash and attack.
Then, the conference seemed to have ended. "We are yours to command, Ashura Satoshi Ketchem," The Alakazam says.
"Just call me Ash. These three pokemon are my friends as well and your teammates for the mission we are going to be on." Ash says. The other three relaxed when they found out the new comers were not going to turn wild and uncontrollable.
"Ash honey, dinner is ready!" Delia calls out to Ash through the window.
"Ok mom, I'm coming," Ash says leaving the six to get to know one another.

It was night and the town of Pallet was dark. Everyone was in their beds asleep. One person on the outskirts of town was the soul person up.
"Pikachu, are we the only ones around?" Ash asks.
"As far as I can tell we are the only ones out here." Pikachu replies wondering why they were out here in the middle of the night just before Ash's most dangerous mission ever.
To answer Pikachu's question, Ash pulled out a necklace which looked like it had over half a dozen small spheroid objects configured in such a manor to look like a charm.
"Hey, isn't that what Luigia gave you after..." Pikachu started to say before Ash interrupted him.
"Yes, it is Pikachu." Ash says and then lifts the necklace up, "I, chosen by Luigia to protect the balance and the legendary pokemon that control that balance, call forth those pokemon to me." Ash chants and the charm on the necklace lights up white. All of a sudden, Ash is surrounded by more legendary pokemon than any one human has ever seen. Ho-Oh and the three cats, Luigia, and the three birds, Mew, Celebi, and even Mewtwo. This came as a surprise to Ash since the clone had not found his way in life yet.
"Chosen one, what is the trouble?" Luigia asks.
"I have been chosen to help to once and for all eliminate the threat known as Team Rocket. I cannot do this without knowing that you'll be safe. I request that you come with me." Ash says to the legendaries.
"We would be also able to help eliminate this darkness that's been plaguing the world. We will come." Luigia says.
"Thank you," Ash says and the necklace seemed to suck in the pokemon. once one was inside, one part of the charm would glow. Zapdos and Raikou glowed yellow for electricity, Moltrace and Entei glowed a bright orange and red for fire, Articuno and Suicune glowed an icy blue,Luigia glowed a light purple, Ho-oh glowed in rainbow colors, Celebi glowed green for plant, and Mew glowed a deeper purple. These colors were now visible on the charm now instead of the clear color it had been. Mewtwo was the only one outside of the charm, apparently he wanted to talk to Ash before going in himself.
"Ho-oh found me and told of this chosen one prophesy to me. I believe that is why you survived during my battle with Mew. If anyone has a grudge against Team Rocket, it is me. I wish to see the end of Giovanni myself." the psychic cloned cat pokemon says as he too entered the charm glowing a fiery purple. Ash smiles and tucks it back under his black shirt. He would have to hide the thing under that rocket uniform, but as long as they don't strip search him and no one knows about that charm's purpose and ability, his decision would not turn out to be a mistake.

"Now let me get this straight. You are posing as a rocket named William Kiddington, and since they like movie references for all their agents his code name is Billy the Kidd?" Pikachu asks.
"Yep, apparently he seems to have made a name for himself in the organization. He has never reported in person to the boss so Giovanni does not know what he looks like. I somehow match up with this picture on the ID card, with a little adjustment to my hair, which is a miracle in itself. Remember Pikachu, you have to act and look tough." Ash says as he and Pikachu rode Dragonite to Black Island.
"Like this?" Pikachu asks and made a face.
"AAAhahhahahahhahhhahh!" Ash laughs as Dragonite flew over the ocean.

The site that greeted Ash was an unnerving one. From the air he was able to see a large structure that was black and shaped like a pyramid.
"There it is, land on the beach. We don't wanna look like we are attacking." Ash says to his Dragonite. It lands and Ash makes the journey to the entrance on foot

"Halt who goes..." the rocket guarding the outer gate says before he sees who it is.
'Here's the first test,' Ash thinks to himself.
"Billy, you've come to home base for the first time?" the rocket grunt asks.
"Yes, and you will address me as William, not Billy."
"Ye...ye...yes sir," the guard says nervously.
"Inform the boss that I'm here and wish to report in," Ash says in a gruff tone.
"Right away," the rocket grunt says and Ash enters.
'Sucker,' Ash thinks smiling to himself. He turns to look at his Pikachu. He seemed to have gotten down that mean look he had to have. Now, it was time to meet this Giovanni.

"Well, if he is like any good criminal boss, his office is at the top floor." Ash says hitting the button on the elevator panel. So far he had met up with several guards and a few black rocket members. It was funny to see fear in there eyes for a rocket member who was not that high in the chain of command of the organization.
"I could give this elevator a little jump start." Pikachu offered.
"Nah, it's fine going up this slow. It gives me time to calm my nerves."
"Well, you better get them calmed because the door is opening." and as Pikachu says, the doors parted and led into a dimly lit hallway. It looked like only the emergency lights were on, but taking a closer look this was all the lighting they would get.
"Trying to look ominous for his underlings. He's only faking that he is tough, when inside of himself he's weak." Ash says walking down the corridor.
"He has a weak soul," Pikachu comments as the two come to an ebony door with a large brass knocker. Ash pulls it back and knocks on the door several times.
"Come in," a smooth sounding voice says from the other side.
"He must use a voice scrambler when he talks to his agents over the phone." Ash says quietly to Pikachu.
"I smell Persian," Pikachu says as the two enter.
"Ah William, you got out of jail without my assistance. I must congratulate you on such a feet." Giovanni says looking at him with an emotionless expression.
"I have this rebellious Pikachu to thank for that feet. I was able to train it while on the road back here."
"Why is it sitting on your shoulder?"
"It is always good to have an extra set of eyes to watch your back."
"If you had selected a partner you wouldn't need a pokemon outside of its ball to watch your back." Giovanni says in a tone of admonishment.
"Since I'm at home base, I should be able to find one here, shouldn't I?"
"Yes, you better stay here until the heat blows over. I would be a lot more angry with one of my best got caught, but with Lance around I must be a bit more calmer since he has made it his personal goal in life to rid himself of me. The only thing he hasn't done is send someone posing as a rocket agent." Giovanni says smirking.
'Shows how much you know, jerk,' Ash thinks, "Yes, that would be quite foolish." he says smiling along with the boss.
"William, take this room key, you'll live here until I see fit to send you back. You will choose a female partner while you are here."
"I understand," Ash says and with a nod from Giovanni Ash leaves.
"once he is partnered up, I can keep a better eye on him. He'll probably go crazy from having to be contained here." Giovanni says stroking his Persian.

"Phew! I never wanna be in that man's presence again." Ash says as he pushes the button that his room is on.
"You did very well, Ash." Pikachu says complimenting his trainer.
"Thanks buddy," Ash says and leaves the elevator to come face to face with Butch and Cassidy.
"Well, if it isn't the most eligible male black rocket, William. You know, you could have a lot of fun with me," Cassidy says rubbing her body against what she thought was William.
Ash had to admit it, she could give a dead man an erection, but her personality was disgusting.
"I thought you went for the guys that sound like they've been smoking for their entire life." Ash says referring to Butch's voice.

"Wow! William must be either feared by the boss or he must be respected." Ash says looking at the room that He just entered. It looked like a room from an expensive hotel had been copied and put here.
"Wonder why Jessie and James never come here?" Pikachu asks.
"Probably from fear of being chewed out by the boss or the fact that they are low level rockets." Ash says checking the room for cameras.
"Yeah, so what do we do now?"
Ash pulls out the phone and heads for the bathroom. Pikachu follows. He hits a few buttons and waits.
"Lance...it's me...I'm in...no one can tell who I really am...yes, even Giovanni was fooled...three weeks...I'll contact you then...bye," Ash says and hangs up.
"Well," Pikachu prompts.
"Lance wants me to contact him in three weeks with any new info." Ash says and to come back in to the main living quarters. He was about to peel off the uniform when there was a knock at the door.
"Damn, if that is Cassidy, there'll be blood all over the hallway." Ash says to himself before he opened the door. When he did, it wasn't Cassidy that greeted him, it was someone else. She had blond hair that went down her back, crystal blue eyes, and was curvacious. The uniform was not leaving anything to the imagination.
"Hello, I'm Valdrade," she says with a voice of an angel.
Ash's brain had crashed and was in the middle of reboot. When the operating system kicked back in, he recovered enough of himself to talk to her.

"I want to help. I just need to see for myself what they do to pokemon."
"They've probably got a lab, so we'll start my info gathering there."

"What's that?"

"We better go to breakfast then,"

"First of all, if you weren't beaten by that boy that foiled about a half dozen of your plans you wouldn't be in Giovanni's doghouse." Ash says gulping down the food that was given to him.
"Face it Cassidy, she's the sweetheart of the black rocket division, but I could take Bill to new heights." a new voice says coming to the table.
"Domino, I thought you were going to fuck the boss and become his new Persian." Cassidy says getting angrier about this whole situation.
"I know that the boss is getting on in years. I have to find someone that will be young enough and strong enough to take over." Domino says but before more can be said two thunder shocks hit both girls and Ash and Valdrade leave.

Valdrade was in Ash's arms shaking. She had been traumatized with the sight that she saw. Ash was holding her on the bed that they were now sharing. He rocked her to sleep and went to retrieve her stuff from her old room.

"No! If she is psychic then you'll have your mind fried by her psychic powers.. I've looked into William's eyes and saw a fake evil glint to them. He is an imposter. Which also means that Valdrade is either not psychic, or she has turned trader."
"Kill'em both boss?" she asks ready to spill blood.
"No, we have a chance to catch Lance off guard if we capture the fake William and force him to tell us what Lance is planning." Giovanni says, and then the lights in the room went off and a blue emergency light came on.
"Control room, what is going on?!" Giovanni asks through his hand held radio.
"A massive EMP pulse was detected before all the systems went down. All power systems to the base are out. It'll take days or even weeks to repair." the voice on the other end says.
"Prepare all rockets to battle the invading force!" Giovanni says and flipped the switch off on the radio.
"Invading force?" Domino asks.
"Yes, apparently they move faster than we can figure out what's going on. That son of a bitch Lance will die today. I wonder how...I'm going to the roof. I believe that our two traitors are up there.

"It's dark in there now. I can feel everyone's confusion, but they are trying to get organized." Valdrade says reading the thoughts of the rockets.
"Lance, ya there," Ash asks through the phone.
"Yeah, we're heading in now. That was good using Zapdos to generate an EMP wave. It's probably thrown Giovanni off." Lance says and he cuts the connection.
"We better get out of the area, we'll just be in the way." Ash says reaching for Dragonite's ball but he hears a voice.
"Going to leave so soon, the party has just begun.." Giovanni says with Domino coming behind him.
"You knew?" Ash asks looking at the most hated man on the planet.
"I had just figured it out when you cut the power out on us."
"So, you turned traitor on us didn't you, Valdrade?" Domino asks looking like she could kill Valdrade.
"I now know the horrors that you are capable of doing." Valdrade says reaching for her own pokeball.
"No, you two just watch and learn. I will deal with Valdrade myself." Giovanni says pulling out his pokeballs and Domino keeps her gaze on Valdrade.
"So, one on one for all the marbles huh, Giovanni?" Ash asks with disdain.
"Yeah, and I'm going to enjoy this. Go, NidoKing." Giovanni says and the poison/ground type emerges.
"You must be slipping Giovanni, this is too easy. Go Blastoise!" Ash says and his giant turtle pokemon comes out locked and loaded for battle.
"It's not going to work, Nidoking, use thunderbolt," Giovanni says and Nidoking uses the electric type move.
"Ha, Blastoise, withdrawal and fire your hydropump!" Ash says and the turtle hides in its shell and takes little or no damage from the shock.
"Interesting, if you fought this way back at the Indigo League you probably would have won. Nidoking, use your thunder punch." Giovanni barks and it charges up one of its fists and runs at Blastoise intending to knock its head off.
"Aim your ice beam at the ground in front of Nidoking and freeze the ground." Ash says and a jet of frozen water comes out and freezes the ground making the Nidoking slip and almost slide off the roof. Giovanni returns it and shakes his head.
"I'm impressed, you remind me of Alex, well, until I killed him." Giovanni says smirking.
A chill runs down his spine hearing that the man before him killed someone after a battle.
"I won't lose to scum like you." Ash says ready for the next pokemon.
"Before I destroy you, who has Lance foolishly gotten to help bring me down?"
"I'm Ash Ketchem from Pallet." Ash answers.
Giovanni's left eye twitches with the mention of that last name.
"Now I know why you remind me of Alex Ketchem, it is because you're his son!" Giovanni says with rage in his voice.
Ash was unnerved now. He could not believe it. All the lies and no one had the balls to tell him the truth.
'Listen to me, don't let that get you down. I know you can do it. He's evil and must be stopped. Once this is over you and I can live out our days as the best pokemon masters in the world.' Valdrade sent to Ash.
"Yes, I understand, I won't let you win." Ash says getting refocused.
"who are you talking...oh so you are psychic you little bitch. I will make sure that you remember the death of your lover." Giovanni says and throws out a Nidoqueen.
"Hey Ash, I think I can fire Hyper beam out of my canons." Blastoise says to Ash.
Ash smirks and had a perfect name for this new attack. "Blastoise, hyper canon."
Giovanni was perplexed, what in the hell was hyper canon? Then he got his answer as the Blastoise's canons glowed hot white and two hyper beams come out of the canons and almost vaporize the Nidoqueen. Giovanni returns his pokemon.
"You'll never win against my Rydon." he says and the horned pokemon comes.
"Blastoise, return. Alakazam, come on out!" he says and his psychic comes out to take on its foe.
"Kingler, Persian get on out there now!" Giovanni says and a large crab and the cat pokemon stand beside the Ryno.
"You can't just do that!" Ash yells to Giovanni.
"I do what I want. You are on my turf now boy, so play the game."
"'Let us help in this final fight, chosen one.' Luigia says in Ash's mind.
'Ummm, are you sure?'
'He has enhanced these three. Even with the six you have the three will beat them.'
"'But which three'
'You know'
'Suicune could beat the Rydon, Raikou can fry the Kingler and...'
'Pick me'
'Mewtwo?'
'Yes, I will do battle with the Persian.'
"Alakazam, return." Ash says returning the psychic.
"Are you throwing in the towel?" Giovanni asks mockingly.
"No," Ash says and pulls the necklace out, "I Luigia's chosen, summon forth Suicune, Raikou, and Mewtwo to dispel the enemy before me."
"What, a chosen one!" he says as the three legendaries took to the battle. It was over in five seconds as Mewtwo uses his psychic attack, Suicune froze the Rydon, and Kingler was fried with a thunder attack from Raikou.
Why you little, I'll get you for this. Rockets, abandon base, code 666." Giovanni says and pushes a button on the radio that he just talked into and grabs Domino and disappears back into the base.
"What is a code 666?" Ash asks but Valdrade knew.
"He has ordered the rockets to get out and leave the island because the base is about to blow!"
"Ash, it's Lance it looks like they are giving us the base."
"Lance! Get our people out of here now! The place is set to blow any second! I'll be on my Dragonite."
"Damn! All units, get off the island as fast as you can!" Lance says over the radio that he had.
Dragonite go!" Ash says and he and Valdrade get on and head off.

It had been a couple of weeks since the explosion on Black Island. Team Rocket went underground since Giovanni escaped. The threat of Team Rocket would be back. Ash had introduced his first girlfriend to his mother. At first she didn't approve thinking that she was a dumb blond, but she quickly changed her mind seeing how happy his son was. Valdrade had added pink highlights to her hair and was now ready to leave with Ash to the Hoen region. All of lances people had gotten out alive, but the pokemon had needed treatment when they all got back to the mainland.
"Bye mom!" Ash says as he and Valdrade left his home for the unknown.
"Don't forget to change your..."
"Don't worry, he won't!" Valdrade says smiling.
"Take care of him, Valdrade."
"So, we are off on our first journey together." Ash says clasping her hand as they walk.
"Yes, and I couldn't be any happier." she says as the two walk off towards new adventures.
