Stranger From The Past
It was well past midnight and the streets of Juuban were completely empty except for the lone figure walking down the sidewalk. The shadowy being stops and looks up at the full moon that shines brightly in the clear night sky. "Soon my Princess, very soon."
The stranger resumes his walk only to stop again, this time in front of the Shinto Shrine. A faint scent passes his nostrils. Inhaling deeply he grins to himself. "Sleep well Firestar." As he once again resumes his solitary stroll down the deserted sidewalk the stranger fades away into the blackness of night.

"SERENA..." Rei yells at her best friend, princess and lover. "I haven't read that one yet."
"Sorry Rei." Serena said to the young priestess. "But you know I can't resist your manga collection."
Sensing the beginnings of another tongue war the others picked up their books and moved away from the both of them.
However, before the first raspberry could be made there was a knock at the door to Rei's room.
"Who is it?" The fire maiden asked. The only responses she received was another knock. "Chad if that's you you're dead," she growls.
Another knock at the door tells her that it is not the former musician. Moving to open the door she grumbles, "Chill out I'm coming." She opens the door and stares at the man before her as her jaw nearly drops to the floor. CHRONOS some ancient part of her mind screams.
The man smiles warmly and lovingly at her. "Evening... Firestar," he says in a warm baritone voice. "It has been far too long."
The others had come to see who was at the door and they starred at the man standing outside the doorway. He was dressed in a black suit that appeared to have been especially tailored just for him. His crimson red hair, which reached to mid-shoulder, was tied back into a ponytail by an silver hairclip that they couldn't see. His face had the chiseled perfection of living marble with a deep rich bronze color.
His eyes more then anything else held their attention so completely they were almost lost in the depth of what they found. A warm mahogany color, they held an almost haunting feeling to them. Very similar to that of Trista's, it was the feeling of someone who has seen far more death and destruction in their life then anyone should ever have to endure in a hundred life times.
"Who... who are you?" Lita asks. Though she was the first to find her voice, she was uncertain if she could find it again. He's nothing like my old boyfriend but something about him is strangely familiar. An image flashes in her mind as she watches him. She's on the moon sparring with a young man about two or three years older then her. She's wearing an altered version of her senshi outfit while he's wearing some bizarre contraption with wires and latches all over the place. 'His gravity suit,' her mind told her.
The others stand there also lost in their own thoughts as flashes of memories begin to enter their minds.
Serena finds herself in the Royal Garden of the Moon Palace as a young nobleman walks over to her. His crimson suit matches his hair perfectly as his cape flutters gently in the warm afternoon breeze. He is the oldest and most powerful of all her protectors even though he was never meant to hold that position. 'His sister's death forced him to assume her duties.' She doesn't know where the thought came from but some how she knew it was right.
Amy was studying in the Royal Library when he enters. "Find anything good?" His warm rich baritone voice catches her off guard. Looking up, she gazes into his eyes and sees the gentle kindness that they always held for his friends. '"Big Brother" what happened to caused you so much pain?
They are walking the Palace Grounds and she was still swooning over her escort for tomorrow's ball. "Kunzite is so perfect, don't you think?" He just continued walking as she continued to gush about the General. 'He always listened, never judged, and was always there when you needed a shoulder to cry on. If it wasn't for the fact I was dating Kunzite I might have gone after him.'
Rei almost blushes at her own memory. They are in his room cuddling under the covers with her head resting on his chest. His powerful arms are gently wrapped around her as she smiles contently in the embrace of the only man she has ever truly loved. He was always so gentle despite the power he possessed and our time together was far too brief.
A warm friendly smile crosses his lips as he answers her question. "I currently go by the name Michael Hunter, but once upon a time I was known as Sailor Chronos."
