"I hate
you guys sometimes!" Nagi began frantically shedding his blood-drenched
school uniform as soon as he slammed through the front door."Only sometimes?"
Schu raised an eyebrow as he wheeled a straight-jacketed Farfarello into
Schwarz’s current residence on his upright gurney. He glanced in mock-dismay at
his grinning, one-eyed charge. "Farf, I don't think we're doing our jobs
right!""Maybe you're
not," the psychopath's voice grated out. "God cries this night. My
work has been well done." His yellow eye shone even brighter.Schuldig
cackled and wheeled his teammate toward the padded cell in the basement.Nagi screamed
his teenage frustration as he headed for the downstairs shower, unconsciously
trailing random objects through the air behind him..A few moments
later, Brad Crawford casually sauntered through the door which had been left
wide open. He took in the bloody clothes on the carpet and the muddy prints of
wheel tracks and knock-off Armani boots. But Bradley was in an amiable mood
tonight. The mission had gone well (aside from Schu getting bored and
intentionally aiming a target's arterial spray at Nagi). So instead of yelling
for Schuldig to clean up the mess, Brad left the bloody clothes in the German's
800-threadcount Egyptian cotton bed sheets and went to his own bed with a
smirk, thinking he wanted to replace the carpet anyway … and maybe put a
leather couch in the space room.- 1
