What's Done is Done

Well this is my first death note fic and I hope you like it. I just finished book 9 and I have to say book seven was the worst so far. I cried for ten minutes after he died with my mom and brother both making fun of me. Atleast my L turtle is still alive thoug. Well enjoy.

For what has felt like years but has actually been a few months I have been chained to this moron. The way he never sleeps though he knows I need it, the way he sits on a chair, the way he never eats actual food. All of these things annoy me. I mean who could really be that skinny after eating all of that junk food? I also hate how he dumps the whole damn sugar bowl into his tea. He should just eat the freaking sugar if he's going to do that. The one thing that annoys me the most is how he bites his thumb constantly. Shouldn't he have outgrown sucking on his thumb years ago? It's so childish not to mention unsanitary.
He's driving me crazy. I'm about to turn myself in so I don't have to be stuck with him. Surely jail can't be much worse then this? I can't though because only one thing is driving me mad more then him; his name. I've had my powers, my memories back for three weeks now with the piece of note still sitting in my watch waiting for me to jot his name down. Still I have not learned it! I'm starting to think this weirdo doesn't have one. That would be my luck.
I know he must have a reference to his name on his laptop, but I can never get near that thing. I have a plan though. I hear his stupid tea pot got off. It's loud whistling going right through me. L is so focused on his computer that he doesn't even notice. I get up and pour him a cup dropping a pill into it. I stir the spoon around in the cup until it dissolves and bring it out to him. Soon my plan will be set. Soon L will be dead!
About forty five minutes later L is passed out. The sleeping pill has managed to work even with all of that sugar in him. I move the laptop over and start opening up files. I'm about to give up two hours later when I finally see a file. It looks like a duplicate of another file. I open it up and inside are two birth certificates. One just says baby boy on it and the other one says his name: Lawliet. I finally found it! Thank god. Putting the laptop back in it's original position I lay down on the couch to get some much needed sleep until the soon to be dead man finally awakes.
We both don't end up waking until the morning, and I'm extremely anxious. I can't start my plan until tonight when everyone is gone. The day goes by normally; L attached to the computer and myself pretending to help. By midnight everyone is gone, L and I are alone. I lie down to watch television and about half an hour later I say,
"Hey Ryu. Why don't you take a break? You're working much to hard."
"I slept last night Yagami-kun."
"But you don't want to make yourself sick now do you Lawliet?" I replied drawing out his name. I smirked as L turned around and looked at me shocked, his big eyes growing bigger then normal.
Quickly wiping the shock off of his face he says,
"You looked through my computer didn't you?"
"You knew?!?"
"I figured if you were really Kira that finding out my name would drive you crazy. I am now 100% certain that Raito is Kira."
"Aren't you scared? I could kill you at any moment."
"I do not want to die yet, but I will admit that I lost. You now have the power to do whatever you like with me." L responded leaning over the table and grabbing a sugar cube.
Reluctantly I took my death note out from under the couch cushion which I had Misa hide there just for this occasion. I didn't want to kill him now; now that he had taken all of the fun out of it. He knew I was Kira though so I had to.
"You only have a few minutes left." I told him closing the book.
"Not that I'm certain I'll die I can do this Yagami- kun."
Then he leaned in and kissed my lips lightly. Slowly I kissed him back our tongue's intertwining, dancing. When we both pulled away I looked at him strangely.
"What was that for?" I asked shocked.
"I've wanted to do that for a while." he said grabbing another sugar cube.
"Why?"
"I love you Yagami- kun."
"I..I..I love you to L. I never though that you would love me back. It made me so fucking angry, but now that I have you," I paused caressing his cheek," I don't want to lose you."
"It's too late for that," he replied half smiling.
I stopped realizing that we didn't have much time left.
"Ryuk!!! Ryuk!!!"
"What?" he asked walking through the wall apple in hand.
"How do I stop the death note?"
"You can't you know that. What's done is done."
"There has to be a way. You know one! If you don't tell me I'll," Silencing my yelling L put his fingers on my lips.
"Shh Raito. I forgive you." Leaning in he kissed me once more. Pulling away he clutched at his chest with a pained expression on his face. Before he could fall I caught him. Hugging him to my chest tightly I laid my head a top of his and cried.

Whelp that's it. So this is supposed to be a one shot but if i get enough reviews I might do a second part to Mika's song erase. If you know what he songs about someone dies and they replace them with another. I might do that with Raito/Near and have it play out so that Raito comes to realize he can't replace L or something like that. Well review and tell me if you liked, hated or so so. Peace out
