You wake up stretching and yawning as usual in the morning. Kneeling on your bed you pray to the gods and look out the window to see another gorgeous, wonderful day. Smiling you jump out of bed and get changed. You change into a light blue kimono that off set your green eyes and black hair. You rush down the stairs to eat breakfast and get ready to do your daily exercise with the others of your level. Your village didn't go by status as many of the other ninja villages did. Everyone was equal here in the Village of the Hidden Elements. After downing your brek-ie and cleaning up as best you could you run down to the training grounds. Waving to everyone you settle down to wait for the others to come.

Meanwhile:

"Naruto you suck!" the pink haired girl yells at a yellow haired boy. "You can't even beat Sasuke, which I didn't expect you to but you should try a little bit." She turns to point at a black haired boy standing with his hands in his pockets. The yellow haired boy cringes at the stinging sentence. "But Sakura, I wasn't trying to kill him." Naruto stands up, brushes his self off, and sticks his tongue out at Sasuke. Sasuke turns around and looks at Naruto. "How immature." he says and walks away. Pouting Naruto walks away also to look for his sensei, Kakashi. Wandering around he sees him with the Hokage talking rather quietly about something. He wanders over after ordering himself a bowl of ramen from the ramen store right there. Sitting down Naruto starts to eavesdrop. "Hokage-sama, what will we do if they catch him and the rest of the nine beasts?" Kakashi asks sounding slightly concerned. "We would have to launch an all out attack on the Aketsubeki and get at least one of them back, which would definitely be Naruto." Kakashi nods and puts his head in his hand. "Things get more and more complicated don't they?" the Hokage looks at Kakashi and shrugs. "We know where at least three of them are. Gaara, Naruto, and Karin(Car-in)." Kakashi looks up at the Hokage, "Karin? Where is she from?" "The Village of the Hidden Elements." "I haven't heard of that before. Why haven't I?" "Because it is so hard of a place to find that you need one of the people from the village to find it, and they don't venture out very often. It's an island off our coast a ways and it's surrounded by many dangerous things, mostly all of the elements, hence the name. There are giant rocks, whirlpools, dangerous animals lurk, fog, and if you get far enough to the island there are dangerous vegetations, sand traps, ice and snow, more dangerous animals, booby traps, and who knows what else. The only person I know of going is the last Hokage, and he didn't leave me too much info on what there is." Kakashi sighs and looks up to see Naruto not to far away done with his ramen bowl. "Oi Naruto, you weren't listening in on us were you?" Kakashi gets up as Naruto starts to stammer and sweat about how he wasn't. Kakashi slaps him on the back and laughs. "There isn't any need for you to get so upset, I was just joking." Kakashi looks back towards the Hokage and a knowing look passes between their eye's that is lost to everyone but them.

Back to you:

Your partners finally arrive a few minutes later to train. You are the youngest in your sparring group but the strongest. "Hey Karin, were you waiting long?" Hiro, a brown haired brown-eyed young man asks. "Nope, I sorta can time these things for not waiting long. Anyways how is everyone today, ready to train?" You punch Hiro lightly on the arm for effect and smile looking at everyone. There were five other people in your training group who were really close to your level. Hiro, Chiyaki, Kotuko, Subaru, and Chun Young. Chiyaki is a bit mellow and he is few years older than you with blue hair and eyes. Kotuko liked flirting with the guys and she has blonde hair and purple eyes. Subaru was the oldest at the age of 23, and she has red hair and kept her eyes covered. Chun Young was a spaz in most cases so no one could guess his real age, and he has black hair and dark eyes. Chun Young punched the air enthusiastically and struck a pose "Oh yeah, I'll beat you today Karin!" You nod and the group walks over to the fighting grounds. While walking Hiro tugs on your growing ears and tail. "I see that you are still absorbing the Nibi (cat demon). Is everything going all right with that?" You swat his hand away and smile. "Yes I have frequent talks with the Nibi and it says that it doesn't mind being absorbed by me. How goes the newest addition to the family." Hiro frowns slightly. "Even though it's a dog demon it doesn't seem to be taking as good as we hoped." He looks up at you and smiles "But it seems that everything will be okay. It's not totally rejecting Kyo's body we figure that it will accept it in a week or two." "That's good because I would hate for it to reject the body." You all arrive at the training ground and set up in pairs to help warm up a bit. After everybody warms up then you again select partners but for more rigorous training. Hiro walks past you to Subaru. "I'll fight you today if you don't mind." He bows in front of her and she nods. Chun Young comes bouncing towards you "Karin your mine today!!!" "Okay." you say back and walk towards the stands to watch the first fight between Hiro and Subaru. That left the last fight between Chiyaki and Kotuko who also sat down to watch. Hiro and Subaru stand in their stances waiting for the other to break first. They were like this for the first five minutes but they both seem to disappear into thin air but since all of you were at exceptionally high levels you all saw this clearly. A few people came in to watch the fights and soon the stands seemed packed. This match seemed to be for strength because neither of them had used a ninjustu or genjustu. Hiro was sent flying into the far wall of the training ground but gets up brushing himself off. "That was a sneaky punch Subaru plus that hurts." he whines to Subaru who rolls her eyes. You snicker at Hiro and he smirks. "I heard that Karin, I get the next fight against you." You wave your hand at him as Subaru appears behind him and attempts a kick at his head. Hiro blocks and pushes Subaru back and as she regains her balance he punches her in the gut sending her flying into the air. A gasp comes from the ground as Hiro kicks her in her back sending into the ground. She coughs a little but gets up and launches an all out assault on Hiro. He was having a hard time blocking a few of the attacks and finally loses his footing. Subaru kicks his feet out from him and pins his throat with her hand. He puts his hands up in defeat and smiles. The crowd claps and cheers wildly for the fight and they both come over. "I'll show you how a real pro does it." Chun Young says to Hiro and you smile at both of them and walk onto the training grounds. "Are you ready today Chun Young?" you ask as you bow to him. "I'm always ready Karin." He does a few experimental punches and gets ready. You stand for a few seconds and attack. Chun Young doges the first few punches so you kick at him. He barely blocks your kick so you turn with your other leg still up there and kick with your other foot. Chun Young can't block it so he is sent flying a few feet. He picks himself up and smirks "Your holding back aren't you?" you smile and incline your head. Chun Young tries to take advantage of this and launches some kunai at you. You catch most but let the rest pass by harmlessly. Putting more speed into your attacks you run at him and put two kunai in his back, throwing the rest at him from above. He avoids the attack from above and pulls out the kunai from his back. Chun Young gets on the defensive and launches a jutsu at you. "Banshou No Jutsu (setting sun jutsu)." The area gets to a reddish hue and a large fireball is launched from the sky at you. You smile at this and do your own jutsu. "Bakufu No Jutsu (waterfall jutsu)." you say and a column of water rises around you and the fireball is extinguished while a stream from the waterfall engulfs Chun Young and he struggles uselessly against it. You control the water so that all but his head is imprisoned and walk over to him. "Don't end it like this Karin." he pleads with you and you nod your head again. You loosen your bonds and make it look like he broke out of it himself. He grins at you and summons a beast. You look at this with mild interest and summon your own. He had summoned a fox like creature with flames covering it and you summoned your own special beast. Your aura turned blue with intensity as you summoned the Nibi. It emerged spitting and hissing at the fox creature and they began to fight. While they were fighting you and Chun Young commenced fighting as well.

The stands sat there wondering which amazing fight they should watch while the four other contenders from your group watched your fight with Chun Young. "Doesn't that strain her superbly?" Kotuko asks Hiro. He studied your face and sighed. "It does immensely, but I am pretty sure she can handle it." Chiyaki shook his head in disgust. "Why does Chun Young try to fight her even fighting like this when he knows she is out of all our league? And that is fighting dirty trying to wear her down like that." Subaru twitched and pointed up to the fight. You were transforming more since the Nibi was let out under your control. This was a good and bad thing. Good because you were stronger, faster, and more accurate but bad because you could go out of control. Chun Young noticed the change and really went on the defensive. You went for his throat with your clawed hand but he managed to knock your hand away. This enraged your almost combined spirit and the Nibi got strength from this. It quickly finished off the fox creature and came over to you. Chun young really was starting to panic since he might have to go against you and the Nibi but you calmed down enough to call back the Nibi and turn to normal. After you were done with that you walked off of the training grounds and back towards your house. Hiro came running after you while the crowd dissipated. "Are you okay Karin?" you stop and breathe in a long deep breathe. "I could've killed him and everyone here. And I almost did but I regained control in time." You turn towards Hiro with tears in your eyes. "I understand that it is safer having these demons sealed in us but the strongest ones are much more dangerous than the others. They take over your being depending on what their effects are. It can be almost too much to handle Hiro." The tears start to fall as Hiro takes you up in his arms and holds you.
