Solace
- Three months. - whispered the silent raven haired girl. - I still can’t believe it’s gonna happen. - She looked at the blossoming Sakura trees that adorned the temple. - It looks like everything is getting ready for the marriage of the year.
Yes, Usagi and Mamoru were finally getting married. “Strange, somehow, I though this day would be very far away. Like another life we would live. Now it’s only three months away.”
The Earth was at peace for tree long years now. When the scouts received there so deserved rest, most of them did whatever they had planed for their future. In the beginning, it was, in a way, very strange. They had the peaceful life they so whished but, as much as they didn’t like it, their lives as scouts were a part of them, and somehow, someway, they all missed it.
Minako was in college taking Public Relations, although she said it was only to pass time because her real carrier was in the show business and it was only a matter of time until she’s discovered and become a major idol.
Makoto had started a traineeship in a prestige culinary school and is on her way to become a famous chef. She also worked in a flower shop in part time.
Ami was currently in the United States. She had won a scholarship and is forging her pat to become a doctor just like her mom. She visited whenever she could but still, her presence was very much missed.
Usagi had stopped after high school. She said that she wanted to focus all her attentions in becoming the perfect housewife for her dear Mamo-chan. So far, she still couldn’t make a soup without burning it. “Some tings never change.”
Mamoru was a counsel now, working for an extremely respected company. He had proposed to his Usako one year ago. Usagi parents were completely dumb folded and Usagi was hysterical for days.
“And what about me?”
Well, she had finished her training and now was a full priestess. And what else?… Yuuchirou had finally confessed his feelings for her…. She turned him down. It’s not like she didn’t loved him… she just didn’t loved him enough. He had given up and returned to his family.
And that was about it. “Gosh, it’s almost pathetic!”
Rei got up from the bench in which she was seated and pick up the forgotten broom on the floor. When she was about to resume her shore, she heard some voices coming from the long path of stairs that lead to the temple. “Must be some costumers.”
- I told you we could find it.
- Yeah, tree hours latter.
- We found it, didn’t we?
“Wait a minute… I know those voices!”
Suddenly, tree familiar heads appeared at the top of the stairs. The first one was the one with the most masculine features. Had brown hair and blue/violet eyes. The second one had a mischievous look and had black hair and deep sparkling blue eyes. The third one had white hair and vivid green eyes. “The Starlights.”
