~*~Chapter 1~*~

He could feel him, and he was inside of him now. His much larger member filled his virgin depths. He cried out his lovers name as they rocked against each other, crying out loudly. He could feel him kissing his neck and shoulders gently, and he shuddered in response. Little gasps and moans escaped his mouth as he cried out the older mans name. "Harder!" He panted, and his request was granted. He trembled with the pleasure of it all. After a few more thrusts, he came, his hot seed spilling all over the sheets below. A few more thrusts and his lover came as well, and he cried out as the stream of cum hit his prostate sharply. After a few moments, he felt his lover pull out—and away—from him. He flopped over onto his side and sighed. He was in heaven. "I love you, Touma," he murmured sleepily.

"I love you too, Suguru."

*~*~*

Suguru woke early the next morning, he yawned and shook his head from side to side trying to rid his thoughts from last night's dream. Slowly he dragged himself out of bed to take a shower. Once he was done, and after he got dressed, he went into the kitchen and was able to force down a couple pieces of cinnamon-sugar toast and a large glass of orange juice. Silently he looked around his small apartment. It was small, it had one bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room, but it was alright. The rent was cheep, and even though Suguru was only seventeen, Touma had pulled some strings behind-the-scenes, and Suguru was allowed to move in nine months ago. The good thing, as Shuichi always reminded him, was that it was within walking distance of N-G Pro.

Today was Monday, he thought sourly. That meant that he had to go to work today. He sighed, he had already missed last week—plus the weekend—and he supposed that K was right. Missing a week because of a head cold was pathetic. But the truth was, Suguru wasn't sick at all, he just wanted to get away from Touma, who was doing a music and studio check of Bad Luck's recording room last week.

Suguru sighed again. He had been avoiding Touma for the last six months, and for the most part it had worked. It had started with the birth of Touma and Mika's first child. A baby boy. Tons of people showed up; Ryuichi and Noriko did, and so did Tatsuha, and then there was Shuichi and Yuki, K, Sakano, Hiro and Ayaka (but she was only there because she was with Hiro when Shuichi called him and told him that *it* was happening. Suguru was also pretty sure that Yuki was only there because Shuichi dragged him along), a lot of other people showed up later, but Suguru either forgot who they were, or he had no idea who they were to begin with. And of course, he was there too.

When Touma came out into the waiting room, he grabbed Suguru and hugged him tightly, and the only thing he could do was mumble 'congratulations' into his chest as Touma announced to everybody that it was a boy, and that Suguru himself had earned the position of godfather. He was surprised that Yuki had not been given the right, but Suguru accepted it as—yet, another—one of his responsibilities.

He sighed again, and pulled his mind out of the past and back into the present. Deciding that it time to go, Suguru put his now empty cup into the sink and, slipping on his shoes as he went, he locked the door on his way out.

"I'm telling you Hiro! Me and Yuki are gonna get married!" Shuichi bragged as Suguru walked into the room.

Suguru stopped in mid-step and his eyes widened as the word 'married' set in. 'Oh no!' He thought, 'married?! If they get married then… then he'd be a brother in law to Tatsuha and Mika… and Mika is married to… to…. Touma and he's my… cousin.' Suguru sat down on the bench to his synthesizer, and hung his head, feeling deflated. Shuichi was the last person he wanted to be related to. He sighed and hung his head.

"Wait a second," Suguru heard Hiro say, "when is this supposed to happen?"

"No idea," was Shuichi's reply, and Suguru could hear the smile in his voice, "but I'm positive that it'll happen within the next thirty-five years!"

Suguru snorted.

"Oh, hey Fugisaki! Feeling better?" Shuichi asked as he finally noticed Suguru.

"Uh-huh."

"Well that's goo—hey! What's that?" Shuichi asked excitedly pointing to a small white box that was sitting on the corner of Suguru's synthesizer.

Looking up Suguru followed Shuichi's outstretched finger with his gaze until his eyes rested on the box. "I-I don't know," he said stunned.

"Well, open it!" Shuichi exclaimed.

Nodding, Suguru reached out and grabbed the box that was the object of everyone's attention.

"Are you sure it's even yours?" Hiro asked, suspicious.

"Yeah," Suguru replied, "it says 'Fugisaki Suguru' on it."

"Open it, open it!" Shuichi chanted bouncing up and down.

Glancing up at his band mates, Suguru looked back at the box and pulled off its lid. Sitting inside was a card, 'it looks like one of those cards you get when someone sends you a bouquet of flowers,' Suguru thought. On two corners that were opposite of each other, were little music notes, on the other two corners were little keyboards. He couldn't help but wonder which store in town sold cards with this design on it.

"What does it say?" Hiro and Shuichi said at the same time when he pulled the card out of the cardboard. Suguru glanced up at them once more before reading it aloud;

"'The heart is made of fire.

You can't command the flames.

Burning, twined together.

Love's a force untamed.'" (1)

Once he read it through a few more times, he looked up at the other two. "There's no name," he said quietly.

"Well, what else is in the box?" Hiro asked.

"Nothing." Suguru stated, looking inside it once more.

"What?!" Shuichi yelled, "Nothing? Nothing? Why should somebody send you just a card?"

"Good question," Suguru mumbled.

"I think a better question would be who sent it, and why." Hiro said calmly as he crossed the room to take the card from Suguru. He read it through a few times just as Suguru did. "Well," he said as he put the card back down and glanced at Shuichi, "there was nothing here for you last week."

"Nope, nothing at all!" Shuichi said, looking at Suguru.

"I think we should keep this a secret from K and Sakano, at least until we know who sent it." Hiro said looking at Shuichi. "Alright?" He asked and Shuichi nodded. "Alright?" He asked Suguru and he, too, nodded. "Alright." Hiro said, confirming it.

"Big news!" K exclaimed as he bust through the door. Shuichi yelped and dove to the floor in fright. "I have gotten you guys a new assignment!" He said happily.

"Oh great! What is it?" Shuichi asked as he got up off the floor.

"I hope it's not another game show." Hiro put in. "It's about time Bad Luck were treated as a band, not a comedy act."

"Well said," Suguru said watching Shuichi dust invisible dirt off of his stomach, "but it's nothing that hasn't been said before."

"True," said Hiro.

"Enough!" K said loudly and he pulled out his beloved magnum. "In exactly one-hundred twenty hours, thirty-six minutes, and twenty-seven seconds you will be on stage!"

"You mean we have a concert?" Shuichi asked, confused.

"Twenty-one."

"Excuse me?" K asked focusing his eyes on Suguru.

"Well, by now I'm sure it'd be something like fifteen seconds by now…."

K laughed, "Well now we know why Touma puts so much faith in you. You really are as brilliant as he claims!"

Suguru winced slightly when K mentioned his cousin. But at the same time he felt a warmth flow through him and stop at his abdomen at the thought of Touma. However when he turned his gaze away from K his eyes met Hiro's, who was giving him an odd look. He quickly dropped his gaze and instead looked at a still-confused Shuichi.

"I don't know how long a hundred and twenty hours is!" He whined.

"It's five days," Suguru murmured, and once again six pairs of eyes focused on his face. Feeling slightly nervous he turned to look at K and asked, "So where are we playing?"

"New-Port Coliseum," K said happily.

"Seriously?!" Shuichi yelled.

"Isn't that the same stadium where every concert is filmed live on TV?" Hiro asked.

"The very same!" K said.

"Well, what are we waiting for? C'mon guys, let practice, practice, practice! I wanna be perfect for our concert!!" Shuichi said loudly.

Suguru looked at Hiro, who shrugged. "Might as well," he said, and for the rest of the day they practiced each song over and over until Suguru thought he could play Rage Beat, Super Drive, and Blind Game Again when he was dead and lying in his coffin. They were all completely exhausted when K said it was time to leave, and Suguru sighed in relief when the three of them walked out of N-G Pro and into the crisp night air. He bid the other two farewells in the parking lot, and then walked the few blocks to his apartment.

He had only been home for a few minutes when Suguru heard a light knock on the door. Sighing, he stood up to answer it grumbling along the way. 'Of course, it's my luck to have to get up and answer the door right when I sat down!' He thought angrily as he looked through the small peep-hole and into the face of the person on the other side. Instantly he froze. 'Of course, I don't have to let him in….' He thought as he took a small step back, but after a moment's hesitation, he sighed again and unlocked the bolt on the door, then he undid the chain and opened the door to his unexpected guest.

Touma turned his head around and the sound of locks being undone and he smiled softly as his little cousin opened the door. "Hello, Suguru." He said smoothly, and Suguru shuddered at the sound of his voice.

"Hello Touma," he said in response and he opened the door wider to admit him. Touma smiled again and strolled inside and went straight into the living room to sit down. Suguru quickly closed and locked the door behind him and went into the living room. He stared at his older cousin.

'It's not to bad for a first house,' Touma noted as he looked around Suguru's living room. On one wall, there were a few posters of Bad Luck and a couple of pictures that seemed to be taken in the studio, and then there were a few magazine and newspaper articles as well. Touma noticed with great amusement that everything—including the posters—was framed. On another wall there was pictures that Suguru had brought from home, these too, were framed. The last wall, which was the same wall that the couch was set against, had nothing on it. And to the left of the room were a breakfast bar, and a small kitchen. 'It probably only holds at least two people comfortably, maybe three, if no one in it was fat.' Touma thought.

"Ah, Suguru," he said as he looked at his cousin, who blushed lightly as their eyes made contact. "Shouldn't you offer me something to drink?" Suguru turned a darker shade of red and looked away.

"What would you like?" He mumbled.

"What do you have?" Touma said sweetly.

"Uh, I have milk, water, I might have some frozen juice in the freezer…. Tea…" He counted them off on his fingers as he named them.

"Tea will be fine," Touma replied, and he watched as the younger man busied his self in the kitchen. Neither of them spoke until Suguru sat two cups of tea on the coffee table and sat himself on the couch, but he made sure there was a respectable amount of space between him and the older keyboardist. "So I understand that you have a concert at New-Port Coliseum in a few days," Touma said as he took a sip of the hot liquid.

"Uh, y-yeah," he said as he watched his cousin's mouth open slightly to let the drink flow between his lips so he could swallow. Suguru vaguely wondered what his mouth would taste like after he had drunken a cup of tea. He blushed and looked away.

"You know, it's very hard to get an appearance on that stage." Touma said setting his cup down and looking at Suguru. "But I must tell you that I am very proud of you."

"P-proud?"

"Yes. I am glad to say that myself nor K had any part in getting you on that show. Bad Luck achieved it all by itself. In fact, I had just received a letter this morning from the staff at New-Port that they wanted to have you guys as a guest, I suppose that they saw your concert last month and they thought that you guys had some talent, which you do." Touma added hastily, "I immediately informed K, and then he was sent straight to inform you three this morning. I'm sure Shindou's is very excited?" He said, and Suguru nodded. "You know, it took Nittle Grasper almost two years to appear on New-Port's stage. And yet, it's only been eighteen months since Bad Luck was signed with N-G Pro, I can't wait to see how ..:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Japan will respond to your music in the following years." Touma smiled when his mini speech was finished.

Suguru blinked as he realized that Touma was finished talking, and he noticed that Touma was staring at him strangely so he muttered a quick 'thank you,' and sipped at his tea some more. None of them spoke for awhile, and it was nearing eight-thirty when Touma announced that he had to go. So Suguru took their cups to the kitchen and walk the older man to the door to see him out. "Good-bye, Suguru." Touma said smoothly.

"Good-bye Touma," Suguru replied, and he quickly shut the door and locked it as soon as Touma started to walk away. He sighed, and went into his bathroom and started to get ready for bed.
