Greetings. Some of you may remember the beginning parts of this story from fanfiction.net and think I stole it. Do not worry. One cannot steal from themselves. I am Evelyn Allison from ff.net. I just moved over to aff.net because it better suits me. Anyway, to elaborate on the familiarity you find, this was a story I put only the first two chapters on ff.net. It was incomplete so I thought I would finish it. It’s a pretty good story line, I think, lest I wouldn’t have bothered with it. I combined the first two chapters into the first one chapter I’m posting on aff.net. A lot of my chapters tended to be short on ff.net and that’s a habit I’m hoping to break. Now that I’ve rambled on here, I’ll let you read the story.
Once again, for those of you who ignore the top paragraphs: This IS my story. It always HAS been my story. You see a similarity, because it is also on ff.net, just incomplete.
Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon. The characters are NOT mine, I do not claim them, but what I make them do on here, I do own.
He was a playboy. A real ladies-man, you could say. And he had no other pleasure in life than to date a girl, make her love him, sleep with her, and then break her heart. This was a game he was good at. A real pro…
“But… but Darien!” A female voice screamed out. “Did the past six months mean nothing to you?”
“Look… Colette, it’s not that it meant nothing, it’s that-” Darien was cut off by a stifled sob from Colette.
“Colette, babe, come on. I wouldn’t call you good, but you weren’t all that bad. I couldn’t have asked for more from a virgin.” He smirked and chuckled lightly at her foolishness.
She couldn’t contain her broken heart any longer and let it cry out.
“Well if you’re going to whine about it, I can give you lessons. I’ll even do it for free since it really seemed you were trying to please me.” He laughed a little more. “Even though you failed miserably.”
She slapped him. “You bastard! How could you say that to me! You told me you loved me! I thought I had changed you… I gave you everything I had!”
He scoffed and rolled his eyes at her, turning to walk away.
“Darien… please. I love you… Can’t we work this out?” She asked after him.
He turned back to her, glaring. “What part of “you’re pathetic” do you not understand, you whiny little bitch?” He pushed her lightly back against the lockers. She gasped, afraid.
He smiled once more. “You’re a fool to think I could ever love you. And as long as there’s pussy out there to win, I will never love you. Honestly, I don’t see how any man, worth his dick, could.
She turned away from him, trying to hide her tears.
He pinned her against the lockers and grabbed her jaw. “Look at me!” He growled in her ear.
She tried to shake him free, but he only held tighter. “Look at me, damn you!” He shouted, forcing her face to turn back to him. “Look at me.” He was calm again grinning ear to ear. “You’re just another name on the list, baby.”
He leaned down to her ear. “You’re nothing.”
With that, he shoved himself away from the lockers, and her. Turning his back to her, he walked away still grinning as she sobbed.
*Later*
Goddess, I invoke the… bind this man to the heart of another. Let him feel what he inflicts on others…” Colette began to wrap a picture of Darien and a red paper heart together with black ribbon.”
She chuckled darkly. “Fuck with me, will you? We’ll see just how well you deal with this, Chiba…” She spat his name.
“I bind your heart, Darien Chiba, to a love you will never have. I doom you to know my sorrow and pain. Mine, and others you have afflicted. I doom you, Darien Chiba. By the power of justice, I take what you have done to me and send it back to you times three.”
With that, she threw the bundle into the flames, watching it as it burned and curled into oblivion. Feeling a power course through the room, she knew her deed was successful.
************************************
It was cold… gray, and cold. A fair-haired woman let out a deep sigh, and then watched her breath float away. “Christ… I’m going to freeze to death! She dropped another box inside the house. Taking a moment to let the feeling return to her fingers, she had an idea.
“Daddy, can I break for coffee?” She yelled out the door.
Her father stumbled out of the moving van, carrying a huge box. “Sure, Serena.” He grunted out. “But only if you make me some.”
“Sure thing!” Serena turned and went back into the warmer parts of her house and shivered as the heat reminded her of just how cold she was. “God… I hate this place! It was never this cold down South!” She turned the coffee maker on, and put in the grounds.
The smell of fresh french roast filled her lungs. Receiving the scent as well, her father stumbled in.
“Well honey, it looks like we’re done. You safely managed to miss hauling in the rest of the stuff.” Her father took a seat at their new kitchen table.
“Thanks daddy.” She said, purposefully ignoring his sarcasm.
“Yep… your mother would be proud of us, managing like this without her.” Her father said, trying to hide sorrow.
“Yeah… maybe. But let’s not think about that now.” Serena answered her now morose father. “Here daddy.” She handed him a mug and took a seat next to him.
After she finished, she felt warm and refreshed. “I’m going for a walk.” She stood to leave.
“Wait, hun. Take my cell.” He handed it to her. “You don’t know the neighborhood. So if you get lost, call the home phone. It’s all hooked up and connected. The number is in there and I checked the new house phone three or four times already. Maybe I should check it again…” He said absently to himself.
She smiled. “Dad, you’re going to have a melt-down. Don’t worry. I won’t go too far, ok?”
He sighed. “Alright. Just be careful, ok?”
“Ok, ok. I’ll be fine. I’ll be back in an hour, ok?” She said as she walked out the door.
“Alright!” He yelled after her.
As she emerged from the house, she immediately felt the cold air hit her face and a chill went down her spine. “God… maybe a walk isn’t such a good idea.” She said to herself as she made her way down the sidewalk.
She walked on for about 20 more minutes before she finally noticed that there was no one else outside. “I wonder why.” She said with a scoff, as she looked at the various houses about her, all warm and full of people.
As the cold finally got all the way through her, she decided it was time to go home. “That’s it. I’m going to die out here.”
“Well hopefully not.” She heard an overly sexed male voice pipe up, and rolled her eyes. “I wouldn’t want such a pretty think like you to die out here in the cold. It would be a waste to men.
How could they possibly think she was pretty? She was covered in cold weather attire!
She turned in the direction of the voice, to give them a piece of her mind. No doubt it was some hormonal teenage boy, just trying to get on her good side, and eventually into her pants.
“Look, you silly little idiot, I’m freezing. And, I’m not getting any warmer just standing here, letting you hit on me. Badly, might I add?" She looked up the male stranger. On normal, warm day, she might be smiling and flirting back. Right now, however, she just didn’t care. He was attractive, though.
Still, why was he hitting on her? She obviously didn’t belong in this town. She was bundled up to the point of having no body shape and looking like an Eskimo. The man, however, was wearing only a medium heavy coat, no gloves and not shivering.
Slightly taken aback by her response, frowned at her. “You’re not from around here, are you?” He let distain overtake his voice.
“Good guess, Sherlock!” Was her over-enthused reply.
“I can tell because of the clothes.” He explained, unneeded.
“Wow… I’m glad I found me a big smart man to tell me what everybody else knows, and I don’t ‘cuz I’m just a stupid little blond girl! Yua-huk!” She responded with her best hillbilly impersonation. “Look, Junior, first of all, go home, second of all, stop looking a girls like they’re just vaginas with legs, and third… just do everyone a favor and grow the hell up.”
She walked away from that confrontation the victor.
So, this is chapter one. I hope you enjoyed it.
