When Normal meets Ab-normal

AN: This has many twists and turns and may start off slow. So, if you are expecting me to finish this within the month....you may want to read it when it's done. BUT!, if you don't mind waiting to see what happends, please....READ ON!
I own nothing, characters, songs, mention of movies....NOTHING! I just got bored and had read a really great crossover with FAKE and Pet Shop of Horrors and had to do this, so....whoever it was that wrote THAT story....THANK YOU*big hugs*!


Part One: New to the office....


It was a normal day at the office. Or so Leon thought. It wasn't bad enough that he started to see Count D in a very friendly way...although he won't say it out loud...but now he has two new people to try into the way things are done in his unit. He had gone from detective to boss of his own unit in the four years he has known the Count. He suspected that the Chinese man had something to do with it.

Leon was not happy. To say the least. He waited, drumming his fingers on his desk for nearly an hour before his two new underdogs came in. It shocked him when the taller one patter the blond on toosh as they shut the door.

"DEE! Don't DO that...."

Leon looked at them as the one called Dee just grinned as they sat down. It was the blond that spoke directly to Leon.

"I'm Randy 'Ryo' Maclean and this is Dee Latener."

Leon looked them over. If they were going to work on his unit, then they needed to know what went into the job. He would bet that they won't like what they find out about his Special Unit.

"I'm Leon Orcot. I will be your boss from now on. I have read up on both of you and have chosen you over the others becausde of your skills. I want you both to read the files I'm giving you and take a few tests. It's not all THAT bad, but there are some things you need to know about my unit before you start."

He handed them each a folder that was a good inch and half thick. He knew it would them a while to read, so he excused himself so they could use his office. And like clockwork, Count D came into the office with a basket and wearing one of his more beautiful drees things. He never could pronounce what those things were.

"Detective. I have brought you lunch. Is your office not open?"

Leon was still amazed at this man. It didn't matter how much he tried to hide it, seeing the Count always made him smile.

"D, I'm not a detective anymore. And no, it's not. I have two new people joining my team. What's for lunch today?"

Now, it was no secret to anyone in HQ that Leon had a thing for the beautiful Count. And that COunt D returned his affections. But they did try to stop from openly saying so or showing it while in public.

D smiled charmingly and sat at an empty desk. Leon pulled up a chair and opened the basket. The smell of food caught many of the others attention but knew better then to say anything about shareing unless Leon was in a good mood. And he seemed to be on edge about something today.

D had notice the tention i n Leon, even if the human tried to hide it from him. He smiled as the blond started to eat.

"What is bothering you Leon? Please talk to me."

Leon sighed in the middle of after swallowing some of the vegy thing D made.

"I can't talk it about here. After work, I'll come by the shop. I'm sure Chris would love to visit with T-chan and the other animals. It has been almost a week and he's been nagging me anyway."

This got a smile out of the Asian that made Leon want to melt. He was about to finish his food, but the slaming of the main doors made him jump and look up. Count D and everone aswell, looked to see who it was. Dee and Ryo looked out of the office, having gotten half way threw the folders and not getting most of it and Dee nearly slamed the door again.

"DEE!!!"

Leon and everyone else watched as the short male ran into his office and then heard this...

"GAH! GET OFF JJ! GET OFF!"

"BUT DEE!"

"Get away from him JJ or I might have to shoot you...."

Leon had had enough and got up, the count doing the same, and they made their way over to the office and opened the door. Leon wanted to laugh and growl all at the same time and D just smiled.

Dee was on the floor with 'JJ' in his lap and Ryo looked ready to kill him. That's when Leon stepped in.

"Excuse me. I would like it very much if you didn't make such a ruckuse in my office. And who are you?"

He directed his eyes to the young man, now getting off of the angery Dee.

"I'm JJ Adams. I just got a notice of transferance from both my old boss and your boss. I'm to go to work for you now Mr.Orcot."

Dee almost fainted and Ryo was deffenatly red. Leon just stared dumbfounded before exploding.

"WHAT!?!? I wasn't expecting more than two and now I have THREE!?! Oh this just does it. They can't keep giving me people! They just can't! I'm going to call them right now and...."

As he was ranting, D had snuck up on him and placed his hand on the back of his neck, calming him. Leon sighed and took a deep breath to relax a little tention from his shoulders.

"Thanks D. Now, let's start over from the top."

No one questioned the Asian or Leon, but the other three in the room knew something wasn't quite right with them. And they knew it was all D's doing.

FOUR HOURS LATTER


Dee, JJ and Ryo stared at Leon. Count D had gone home a little after JJ showed up. Now, the three just couldn't figure out what to believe and what to cal a bluff. It was all so much to take in.

Ryo was the one to break the silence.

"So, you're telling us that your unit deals with abnormal things that go on in this city that no other people can because all the strange happenings have something to do with the pet shop in china town and you are friends with it's owner and that's why they put you on as the Unit leader?"

Leon nodded and watched as the others stared at him, then each other, then back at him.

"It's the truth. Now. I'll start each of you off with special training tomorrow. You have good records and I want to add a few things to them. So, have a good rest tonight, because tomorrow....the real work begains."

With that, he motioned them all out and locked up his office. He headed off to his appartment to get Chris and then go over to the pet shop. He smiled as he drove. Things were about to get interesting and he couldn't wait to hug all that wonderful asian beauty to him.

He was so caught up in his thoughts, he didn't see the car fallowing him, or the person jumping from ally to ally.
