A friend in need
the injured
It was about sunset in the small forested area where a feraligatr named Shu lived. He was on his way back to his small cave by the small river running though the forest. hopefully a released pokemon hadn't taken it again. for some reason, pokemon that were abandoned always ended up here. It was quite depressing. As he neared a scarred oak tree he heard a faint sound. "gar........cho...." the voice sounded in much pain.
Approaching the tree, he looked for the source of the sound, "Who's there?" It was then he looked to see an injured garchomp laying proped up against the tree. It looked very sickly indeed. It's body was covered in various scrapes and bruises, even some burn marks. He knelt down, "what happened to you?"
The garchomp looked at him with saddened eyes, "My master abandoned me here. He did.....terrible things to me...." "What's your name?" "My name is Lenna.....at least master called me that..." Shu picked her up, "you can stay with me until you heal. That way you have a chance in the wild." she looked at him, "Why? Why are you helping me?" "Because every pokemon deserves to be treated well, and obviously, your master didn't. So I will help you for now." she smiled at him, "Thank you....thank you very much." she slowly drifted to a painful sleep as he walked back towards his home.
A/N: YES I KNOW IT IS VERY SHORT!!!!!!It's late, I'm tired, and I needed to stop procrastinating. and don't complain about spell check issues....I can read as well. Please no flames. Constructive critiscism please.
