A pale hand glided over the hard wood banister, the other gently holding back waves of flowing golden hair that danced in the gentle wind. Laughing children ran passed her, their feet thumping on the sun bleached wood of the small bridge, their mother's heels quickly following as she ran after her unruley offspring. Birds gave glorious songs to anyone who would spare a second to listen, the gentle flow of the river under the viaduct playing background to the wind in the trees that followed the bird's choir.
Throughout the sounds of the wilderness and the joy of the young running around together in the emerald green grass, other sounds registered around the park, getting louder as the time ticked away. The heavy sounds as people moved around the woods twenty one yards away, the buzz and whirl of electricity passing though hi powered computer terminals twelve yards from the bridge, the static in the ear piece of the man five yards away.
Blood pumped faster and faster through the young woman heart. How did this happen? She didn't move, eyes fixated on the crystal clear sapphire blue water gushing quietly under her wooden perch, her hands, both on the painter dark red banister, holding on firmly as if the water would engulf her at a moments notice.
A hand landed strongly, protectively, onto her small frail shoulder, giving a soft squeeze before falling to the side as the man leaned onto the wooden railing, elbows resting onto the timber as he stood looking away from where the woman was gazing.
"What should we do?" She whispered so low he barley heard anything." They've surrounded the whole area" Her voice sounded small even to her own ears.
"Are you that afraid?" He asked her looking strait ahead, dark eyes following soccer match the children played in a clearing not too far away.
One of her hands gripped his arm as she turned around to look at him, her eyes looking into his.
"But what if…?" She started
"It'll be fine." He stated calmly
"But something could go wrong" Her voice was pleading, broken.
"Nothing will"
"How can you be so sure? If something can go wrong it usualy does!" Her voice was getting slightly higher.
A pause was marked and lasted several minutes
"Nothing will happen,"
"How can you be so damn confident?" She asked harsly
"Amon's with her. Nothing can happen"
Yurika sighed and leaned onto sakaki as they looked sadly at the two at the other end of the park.Silently waiting
