Summary: Shen Go Xi, a transfer student from China with the ability to use magic 2,000,000 times, chooses to give some of those times to Kazuki. However, complications do arise.... M/F.

A/N: Maburaho was, admittedly, very cliche and not that good an anime. This story tries to take the characters, and shake things up a bit. It takes place when Kazuki has two times left, branching off the storyline there.

Life for Kazuki seemed to be stumble from one mishap into another. He has only three more times to use magic, but his carefree attitude towards life often conflicted with this problem. "She will not take Kazuki." Rin added.
The teacher came in and everyone stood at their seats.

"Well then, I shall make the preparations." Go Xi said.
It was a full week later that Shen Go Xi asked Kazuki, Yuuna, Rin, and Kuriko to come with him to a cabin in the woods nearby. Inside was a single wooden table on which was painted the yin-yang symbol. Kazuki was told to lay on the table. Nearby was a curtain wall. Shen Go Xi went behind this wall. A bit later, he came out dressed as an onmyou mystic.
"There is a 15% chance of this not working, plus another 15% chance that his body will reject the spells." Go Xi said.
"I accept that." Kazuki said.
"Then I shall begin." Go Xi said. He started chanting in Cantonese, with a Schezuan accent. A beam of light went from Go Xi through Yuuna and into Kazuki.
"Huh? Why is this light going through me?" Yuuna wondered aloud.
"Ssh! Don't ruin the spell!" Kuriko admonished. About 5 minutes later, the light ended and everyone relaxed.
"The beam went through you because you are Kazuki's one true soulmate." Go Xi said.
"Then... I have pursued him for no reason." Rin replied. Suddenly Kazuki started shaking like a leaf. He turned very pale and sweatted bullets.
"What's going on!?" The women asked in unison.
Shen Go Xi waved his hand. "This has rarely happened." He said.
"What is it? What's going on?" They asked.
"His body is accepting the spells, but they are not completely compatible with him. His brain is becoming messed up. If we do not act fast, he will turn into a vegetable." Shen Go Xi said. Kazuki started making gurgling noises.
"What do we do?" They asked in unison.
"He must make love to his one true soulmate. The chemicals produced during sex by the brain should help ease things." Go Xi said.

"While it is true the family fortune has suffered of late, such losses are temporary. It is a deal that would benefit both families. The Shen magic has gotten more powerful with each passing generation." Shen Go Xi replied. "I have studied your family's situation as well."
"Well, someone as astute as you are would be a perfect match for our daughter. For the moment, you have our blessing. However, we shall continue to monitor you and Kuriko." Kuriko's father said.
