I do not own Sailor Moon, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
Prologue
Emerald and Aquamarine
Flora Winters
I do not own Sailor Moon, but the gods know I wish I did.
Summary: Kunzite and Zoisite use a love potion to destroy the Sailor Scouts once and for all and that’s where things go hilariously wrong. MM, FF, LANG, and tons of silly violence and other crude things.
Prologue
The palace was dark, save for the cold violet light from the candle flames that lit the dark passages. It was the kind of place where love was thought to never bloom. But, love is a force that can take root, growing anywhere, and blooming into something beyond what the word beauty can ever hope to describe.
Molten jewels of emerald fire were glistening with moonlit glee as they skimmed through a new romance novel just snatched from a bookstore. They were glimpsing into a world where a young man had fallen in love with a man of a few more years.
Mystical forces with great magical powers strove to keep them from forever being in each others arms. The power of Light and the power of Dark would not let their love be. Light cannot exist in darkness and darkness cannot exist in light. It was just the way things were in this little man’s world.
A pale finger was twirling a few strands of golden perfection around itself when a petal pink mouth opened in a slight gasp. He had so not seen that ending coming at all.
“Oh, but why?” He asked the book, slamming it shut with a snap. “Why did they both have to die like that?”
Zoicite made a note to remind him self to have a monster capture the author so he could be questioned at a more convenient time. He simply had to know why the two star crossed lovers could never be with each other while alive.
His booted feet touched the marble ground and with a slight flick of his wrist, the book went soaring across the room to find a home for itself on a shelf with all the other books on romance. It made him smile as he glanced at the shelf. His collection was growing more and more.
Each time he went to Earth to do battle with the Sailor Saps, he would stop by and get himself a nice book, and maybe a few pretty shiny to cheer himself up. He would simply get those bitches next time.
What he needed was some kind of magical boost. Those silly twits were always beating him by the hair up their nose holes. He couldn’t figure out why that was either and it was seriously pissing him off.
Sailor Moon was always tripping and falling flat on her face right at the moment a beam of deadly doom should have struck her dead. She was so whiny and that damn Tuxedo Mask was always flapping in to give her some stupid words of encouragement.
“You can win this, Sailor Moon,” he mimicked the moron’s voice, switching over to Sailor Moon’s. “Oh, Tuxedo Mask, you’re so dreamy.”
He then proceeded to bounce up and down on one foot, giggling like an idiot. Suddenly he struck the infamous Sailor Moon pose, spouting her annoying spill.
“In the name of the Moon,” he said, doing her little hand gestures. “I will punish you!”
A deep melodious chuckle snapped him out of his dramatic performance and he spun around to see that it was his lover. He began to blush as pink as cherry blossoms at being caught.
“Have those Sailor Brats finally caused you to snap?” The silver haired general asked in a teasing tone. “Should I get you a room at Deadly Nightshades?”
Zoicite pursed his lips and stuck his delicate nose up in the air at him. “I’m not speaking to you ever again.”
Silver hair shimmered like streams of soft moonlight as he walked forward to embrace the smaller man. “Would you truly condemn me so, Zoi?”
It was in these moments when they were truly alone that he could show his true feelings for his golden haired beauty. He gently held that chin, gazing into pools of green light. That bone white face was so flawless.
“No,” Zoicite said, resting his head against that broad chest. “How could I ever keep from speaking to you, Kunzite?”
Eyes the color of moonlight on seawater glowed like aquamarine. He sniffed his fragrant flower, smiling, and squeezed him softly.
“Did they hurt you?” Kunzite asked with concern, looking to see if there were any scratches on his beloved.
Zoicite shook his head, telling him that he was fine. The only thing hurting him right now was his bruised ego. It was pounding like a hammer against a nail.
“Does my defeat cause you to love me any less?” Zoicite asked, emerald orbs filling with tears.
Kunzite shook his head, wiping the tears away. “No, it does not. But, it does cause Queen Beryl to lose faith in you.”
“I try,” the blond whined, pulling free from the bigger man’s embrace. “But those bitches beat me every time.”
“Calm down, beloved.” Kunzite soothed like cool water flowing over and around ice. “I’ll help you.”
“Really?” Zoictie asked, eyes lighting up like twin stars. “You would really do that for me?”
“What have I done to cause you to ask such a question?” Kunzite asked with some hurt evident in his cool voice.
Zoicite blinked and threw his arms around his neck. “I’m honored and grateful for your aid.”
“That’s not an answer to my question,” Kunzite told him, looking more still than a flawless alabaster statue.
“You’ve done nothing but love me,” Zoicite answered him. “I just don’t want Queen Beryl to hold you responsible for my failures.”
Kunzite was touched by such honesty and the icy glare melted into blue pools of liquid light. “I won’t let you fail.”
Zoicite giggled. “What do you have in mind?”
“Well,” Kunzite said, kicking off his boots. “I thought we’d…and then…followed by…and then we’d kill the Sailor Scouts.”
Zoicite shivered at such talk and was all for it. He knelt down, placing a kiss on each solid white foot.
“Why do you do that?” Kunzite asked, looking down into emerald eyes. He had never asked why before.
“Because,” Zoicite smiled up into orbs of aquamarine. “I want my love to follow your every footstep.”
Kunzite lifted him up into his arms, carrying him to the bedroom. He could not wait to show him just how much he truly loved him.
“Kunzite,” Zoicite asked with an impish grin. “Could you…”
Kunzite snickered. “If you want to…”
Zoicite squealed, happily wrapping his arms around his lover’s neck.

Queen Beryl was residing on her jeweled throne with a bored expression plainly written across her beautiful, timeless face. She rolled her eyes, yawning as she listened to the voices in the ever present throng all around her in the Great Hall of her grand palace.
She got to her feet and all became silent as a tomb. It made her smile for the first time all day. She simply loved fear. It made her cold heart bloom with such joy.
It was such a lovely day on Earth and she decided to do something about it in person. She was going to go for a little stroll.
Her tall, slender figure shimmered like a great ruby red star and she vanished in an echo of thunder. She was in the mood for some shaved ice and a show.
