In the Summer Rain

The summer had dragged on into a nice lull for Tsuna and his friend. It had been a long time since anything bad had happened, but still…Reborn had seen to it that they were never slacking. Tsuna rubbed at his forehead with the back of the mitten he wore on his hands. “It’s really to hot to continue,” he complained as Reborn watched him with that same look he always did when they were training.

“Quit complaining Tsuna. Gokudera, Yamamoto and the others have harder training.” Of course Reborn’s voice was the same it always had been, unaffected by all the complaining shot his way. Tsuna just sighed and rubbed at his forehead once again as Reborn stretched and moved over to him. “You’ve improved a whole bunch. If we have any problems that arise…Hopefully your current level will be more than enough.”

That was true. There hadn’t been a day that Tsuna hadn’t worried about being stuck in the future again and having to fight for the sake of the past and for his teacher. The others had also done so, biting his lip Tsuna just shook his head and sighed, “I hope we don’t have to do anything like that ever again.” I almost lost Reborn and lost my future because of it. I never want to have something happen like that again.

It had been a source of nightmares. Sometimes when he was asleep Yamamoto would wake him up and check on him if they were sharing a bed. He couldn’t let it go. “Reborn. I’m glad you’re here.” Reborn didn’t respond as usual and Tsuna sighed when he noticed the bubble protruding from Reborn’s nose. “God I wish that I was that carefree.”

“He’s not exactly carefree Tsuna. I am sure Reborn was just as worried about what was going on. It would explain the training we’ve had to go through.” Yamamoto’s voice interrupted his thoughts as he turned to look at the dark haired man standing amidst the cherry blossom trees. “If anything, I think the extra training is to show you his gratitude for saving his life.”

Reborn moved in his sleep and fell right back as he yawned and curled up. Yamamoto moved over picking up the smaller male as he smiled and looked to Tsuna. “Let’s take him inside and then lets go for a walk. The weather is gorgeous today…Don’t you think?” Tsuna could only agree with Yamamoto as the stronger man moved into the mansion and put Reborn down on the couch motioning for Tsuna to follow.

“So is your training going okay?” Yamamoto spoke conversationally as they moved outside once again. Tsuna smiled and sighed as Yamamoto raised an eyebrow, “Tsuna you’ve become really quiet recently. I’ve been worried about all the nightmares you have been suffering from as well.” How do you tell the man you love that you are glad things are okay, but that you aren’t sure what’s going to happen or if you’ll be strong enough?

“My training has been hard, but things are going really well. With those techniques I learned from our trip into the future. I’m pretty sure that things will be okay. I’ll be the leader that everyone wants me to be.” Tsuna spoke as they moved. Talking about being a mafia boss was not something he would have thought would have been on his mind at all, but now that consumed his every waking moment. Learning to better himself was part of his duty as a mafia boss. “I guess my new temperament has to do with all the etiquette and classes I’ve had to take lately.”

“Yeah, those seem really hard. Even Reborn has been making us try to be less informal when out in public. It feels weird to call you boss and tenth.” Yamamoto confided as they walked. “These suits are even weird. I understand that we have to keep up appearances, but we are only almost out of high school now.” Tsuna took the time to glance at Yamamoto as they walked. Indeed the suits that Gokudera, Yamamoto and the rest of his subordinates had to wear were stiff, but they all looked so good.

“At least your formal suit isn’t pinstriped or white.” Tsuna joked, “Seeing you and Gokudera in suits makes me realize that I don’t look all that good in them. You guys are so handsome…Even Hibari looks hot when he is in a suit.” Yamamoto laughed and Tsuna smiled rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly at the others humor. “I still don’t understand why it had to be me. All I’ve ever wanted was to stop being called no good Tsuna. Now I am the heir to the most powerful mafia family in existence.”

Yamamoto noticed the others good mood sober up somewhat at the graveness of the situation he found himself. “Tsuna you have many strong points that will lead you to be one of the best bosses. You should strive to be just as good as the first boss was. Never forget that you are Tsuna though, and don’t forget the values and such that have been given to you by your parents and the events around you. That what makes you such a good leader.”

Tsuna blinked as he stopped turning to look at Yamamoto as he smiled, “You know that most of the time you have all the right things to say. Thank you Yamamoto.” Thunder rumbled in the background and before either male could react the rain started to pour down around them. “Ah! We are going to be soaked…We are so far away from the mansion!” Tsuna shivered as Yamamoto laughed and grabbed his hand dragging him towards a thick grove of trees. “Yamamoto we should go back to the house!”

“Why should we? The rain is warm and it’s warm enough outside. Come on Tsuna!” Yamamoto laughed as he pulled the other along with him as Tsuna stumbled slightly to keep up. “Besides…I want to take this damn jacket off.” Complained Yamamoto finally as they came up under the trees. Both were thoroughly soaked and their suits wet enough to become a burden. “Come on…take off your jacket Tsuna! Reborn won’t care till later.”

Watching Yamamoto, Tsuna reached up his hands gripping the damp fabric as he slicked his fingers down the front as water ran down and dribbled off the bottom of Yamamoto’s dress coat. “We got wet in such a small amount of time…It’s really pouring out there, huh?” Pushing Yamamoto’s jacket open a little more his fingers explored the fabric of the white shirt as his lover watched him fascinated by the way Tsuna was acting.

The rain shielded them as best it could from prying eyes, but Tsuna had never once reached out for Yamamoto in public. It was far and few in between when they actually had time alone to be together. “Tsuna…” Gently reaching his fingers up, Yamamoto traced his jaw with his pointer finger, “Are you sure it’s okay? What if someone sees this? Aren’t you worried at all what the others will say? What about Gokudera?”

“I am going to live my life according to the way I want to live it for the most part. Reborn and the others will respect that. Gokudera…He is a good friend.” Tsuna let his hands smooth down the cold and slick shirt as he reached up fiddling with Yamamoto’s tie. “I’m entitled to being happy, just like everyone else. I’m only me after all…I’m only Tsuna.” Yamamoto shivered as he watched his usually passive lover unbutton his shirt one button at a time.

Once the shirt was open Tsuna flushed and looked away, “I said something weird again didn’t I?” Yamamoto could only smile. it’s like he is wavering between being the boss that everyone wants and finding himself completely. Yamamoto smiled as he reached out ruffling Tsuna’s soaked hair in a gesture of undeniable affection before grabbing his chin forcing Tsuna to look into his eyes.

“There is nothing wrong with the way you are choosing to live your life.” With that Yamamoto placed a gentle and quick kiss to Tsuna’s lips. “Now off with that damn jacket!” Tsuna smiled as he nodded and quietly slid off the white jacket he had been forced to wear that day and then of course the tie and black shirt. Yamamoto pushed the jacket off his own shoulders and was about to take off his shirt and tie when smaller hands stopped him.

“Leave it on.” Tsuna blushed and looked away as Yamamoto could only grin. His eyes roamed across his lovers chest noticing that Tsuna was indeed getting stronger and his muscles had some substance to them now. He had been so skinny before that his muscles really didn’t stand out much, but now even Tsuna’s body was more attractive with that hint of powerful muscles underneath everything.

“You know that your muscles are showing a lot better these days.” Yamamoto reached up his hands touching at skin as his fingers slid down Tsuna’s chest. Tsuna shivered a little and Yamamoto gently guided Tsuna’s back to a tree his eyes softening a little more as his fingers traced the contours of his body. Leaning in closer Yamamoto allowed one of his legs to part Tsuna’s thighs and he rubbed up and down experimentally gaining a gasp from his young boss.

“Is that so…” Tsuna found himself trying to keep up in conversation even if his body was saying other things. Not everything had to be spoken and that was what Tsuna loved about Yamamoto. He understood what he was trying to say before he himself even understood it. “Yamamoto..” squirming Tsuna sighed his lovers name as fingers rubbed at his nipples causing his back to arch semi off of the tree. Yamamoto could only smile.

Leaning in Yamamoto kissed at the brown haired mans neck as he leaned up to whisper, “You know what would be hot Tsuna?” When Tsuna didn’t answer he didn’t have to look at his lovers face to know that it was probably completely red. “Sex in the rain…” He breathed as his mouth took in Tsuna’s ear lobe to nibble on causing a sharp cry to come from Tsuna.

There was little that Tsuna could do trapped against the tree by his lover. Sex outside was not something he would have expected and entertaining the idea his body pressed closer to Yamamoto’s unconsciously. He would never do anything to hurt me. He would shield me from people’s eyes and make sure I’m comfortable. The risk of getting caught…Is kind of a turn on. Tsuna really didn’t have much time to protest as Yamamoto unbuttoned his pants and slid them down his slender pale legs.

All he wanted to do was help his lover. Yamamoto had noticed that Tsuna had been tense and that he and Reborn had been working harder and harder. Even if he won’t tell me the real reasons why he is working so hard or why he always checks on Reborn. I will do what I can to ease his worry if only a little while. His slender fingers gently reached up and pressed against Tsuna’s lips. “Go ahead …Suck on them.” Watching Tsuna open his mouth and draw in the fingers made Yamamoto shudder as he moved around his fingers and Tsuna coated them as thoroughly as he could.

Reaching back down between them Yamamoto quietly prepared Tsuna and with each twitch and small noise he found himself getting more desperate to be inside of his lover. Finally spitting on his own hand he reached down and blinked chuckling as he used his free hand to unbutton his own slacks and then he pushed them down enough to let out his erection as he coated it with his own spit.

Groaning as the slight pressure around his cock actually stimulated him more he gave out a husky sigh as he picked up Tsuna a little more holding him up. “Tsuna…Look at me.” Tsuna looked up into Yamamoto’s face his eyes wide. It wasn’t a look he often received. Yamamoto looked serious, but the tenderness in his eyes spoke volumes as he was lowered down onto Yamamoto’s member. His back arched and his fingers dug into his shoulders as gravity helped him to slip down a little more fast than both men would have liked.

“Fuck.” Yamamoto whispered as he thrust up into Tsuna causing a whimper to spill from the smaller mans lips. A few more thrusts and he had established a rhythm that both were happy with and that made Tsuna writhed. My legs are getting weak… Slowly dropping down to his knees Yamamoto winced as Tsuna groaned jolted and that special spot inside hit causing him to cry out.

Thrusting up into Tsuna is what mattered to Yamamoto at the moment as the pain only added to his excitement as he trembled and continued to thrust into his lover. Tsuna tossed his head back and continued to try and press down to keep Yamamoto inside him as deep as he could earning a sweet moan from Yamamoto as he continued to control the pace.

“Yamamoto…I love you.” Tsuna whispered shakily as he reached up with a shaky hand to cup Yamamoto’s cheek as Yamamoto stopped he let out a soft whimper. Those words triggered something inside Yamamoto …It was different to know than to hear. He really means it. Tsuna you’re so adorable… Trembling and panting Yamamoto looked into Tsuna’s eyes as he gently leaned the other back into the warm wet grass as he nodded.

This was bliss. It wasn’t something that Yamamoto had experience before as his heart threatened to explode right out of his chest and the lack of air made his head dizzy. this makes me happy. Being here with Tsuna is all I need. With that Yamamoto started to thrust a little more insistently into his lover as he held onto his hips bucking with each thrust straining to hit that spot each time as he heard Tsuna continue to whimper trying to mask the louder moans and cries so as not to be heard. Not that they would have been heard through the rain. But, one could never be too sure.

It was only a few more thrusts before Tsuna came bringing Yamamoto with him as they both panted and laid there in the grass together bodies twined together. Taking a few moments to grab air Yamamoto leaned up his eyes looking into Tsuna’s half hazy eyes, “I love you too.” Shivering his placed his face against Tsuna’s chest for a moment as Tsuna reached up and tentatively played with his short black hair his eyes falling shut. Taking a shuddering breath Yamamoto felt hot tears bathing his cheeks as he held Tsuna close. I want to always protect this person…Please God don’t let me fail again. That was the prayer that Yamamoto made on that summer day in the rain.
