I Will Follow You Into The Dark...
Bikky was being dragged along down the hall by Carol. Rather helplessly, I might add. He was, in his right, confused and annoyed.
"Hey! Where's the fire?! Slow down!"
"It's Lai! He somehow locked himself into the janitor's closet. You've just got to help him!"
They were fastly approaching Lass, who was (what looked like) frantically trying to open the door.
"Any luck, Lass?" asked Carol.
"No, I can't seem to get it open. Bikky!" She turned to the helpless boy, all teary-eyed. "You have to help us!"
"No waterworks! Nope, not allowed. I'll help, just no water works!"Exclaimed a panicking Bikky.
He walked over to the door, and turned his back to the girls, missing their cat-got-the-canary grins.
"How'd genius boy get himself stuck? The door's unlocked." His eyes went wide. "Hey! Why's the door unlocked?"
He finally turned round to face the two girls...
Who were advancing on him like panthers to prey.
Lass spun Bikky, while Carol opened the door and together they shut the door behind him and Lai.
Bikky looked to a sulking Lai.
"What just happened?"
"We both got scammed."
"How'd they scam you?"
Lai blushed and mumbled something incoherent.
Bikky was confused, so he sat.
"Huh?"
Lai sighed. "They told me thatyouweren'tstraightanymore..."
Bikky blinked.
"What was that last part?"
Lai buried his face in his hands and said nothing.
Now Bikky was getting sulky.
"Come on, already. Out with it!"
Without lifting his head, Lai said it again.
They told me..." He sighed. "They told me that you weren't straight anymore and that you were in here waiting for me. There, happy?"
He looked up at Bikky, blushing.
Bikky grinned and reached up behind Lai's head to turn the light off, and laughed.
"Lai, I've never been just straight."
