Tsuna almost jumped clear out of his bed when he was awoken by a sharp and loud beeping sound just a few feet to the left of his bed, tumbling to a blanketed heap on the floor.
“Eeeh…?” Tsuna sleep addled mind couldn’t process what the startling sound was at first, but as his head cleared and realized that the annoying loud beeps were coming from his alarm clock... His alarm clock…? He sat up suddenly, looking around and finding the still beeping device, the bright block numbers flashing 7:32 at him.
Tsuna was still in a stupor. He woke up to his alarm? Not a kick to the face from his sadistic child tutor? Not to the sound of explosions and the high pitched scream or laughter of Lambo as I-pin chased him around his room and eventually jumping on his person? Well that was a first… in… what was it now..? Two years?
He looked around his room suspiciously, suddenly expecting a sneak attack of some sort. Why after so long was he woken is such a normal way? He had even forgotten that his alarm was set it had been so long! What was wrong? Did something happen? A million bad scenarios suddenly filled the Volgola’s next boss, each one worse than the last. Oh gods, after everything they’ve been through, what could it be now?! He was so preoccupied by his descent into panic that he was completely taken by when a shoe whacked him square in the face.
“Hii!” the young mafiaso squealed as he toppled back again, his head fortunately just hit his mattress, the front of his head wasn’t so lucky, wincing as he rubbed a light lump forming there, “Reborn!” he cried accusingly to his tiny tutor, knowing he was the one responsible.
“Don’t just stand there looking panicked, dame-Tsuna, turn the alarm off already! Leon feels bad enough already.
“A-ah..? Eh..?” Leon wasn’t feeling well, but even as he thought to ask, he was already turning off his alarm, knowing already to a subconscious level to obey what Reborn words no matter what or there would be dire consequences. Once the annoying beeps had ceased he walked up to the corner of his room the child-tutor had claimed as his own. “Is Leon sick?”
“Take a look for yourself,” Reborn said, jumping back off his hammock onto Tsuna’s shoulder. Left behind on the hammock was a nest of blankets in the middle was a pale Leon, his eyes drooped and his expression somehow pained.
“Oh… poor Leon… Did his tail fall off again?” Tsuna inquired and he leaned in closer. The shape shift chameleon flicked his tongue out in their direction, but even that was half-hearted, the poor little lizard not having his usual silent but cheerful demeanor.
“No, take a good look Tsuna, his tail is still there. Though, this is something completely different.”
Something different, Tsuna thought to himself. Could it be that Leon was actually truly sick, and this was not just some weird phase that the chameleon went through? “Reborn… what…” but before he could finish his question when a flash of light suddenly engulfed Leon, before being absorbed into the chameleon, a whole assortment of rainbow colors suddenly kaleidoscope-ing through over his body.
“H-hiiieee?! W-what is that?! What’s going on with Leon?” Tsuna asked, instinctively taking a step back from the weird and unknown.
Reborn smirked, hopping off Tsuna’s shoulder to land lightly on the hammock again. “So that’s what it is…” he said more to himself than anyone else.
“What is it, Reborn? What’s happening to Leon?” Tsuna asked curiously.
The child-sized home-tutor waved him off, “Don’t worry about it dame-Tsuna. Get ready for school or you’ll be led.”
Tsuna glanced at his clock, eyes bugging out, “Hiiii! He’ll never make it in time!” He quickly started to shuck off his sleep-wear and hopping into his uniform, too worried about being late to remember his sense of modesty in front of Reborn. Reborn wasn’t paying much attention to him anyways, studying Leon closely.
Tsuna grabbed his book bag and slung it over his shoulder, dashing for his door, “I’m off, Reborn! I hope Leon’s okay!”
Reborn shooed him off, “Leon’ll be fine. Get going, Tsuna or I’ll shoot you for each minute you’re late.”
“Hiii!” forget dying will bullets, that threat was enough to send him off fast pace, waving to his mother, saying he had no time for breakfast and promising to eat a good lunch in return.
Gokudera was waiting for him outside and instantly joined him in his high pace dash to school. “Juudaime! Good morning!” He greeted cheerfully.
“Haa aa, g-good morning Gokudera-kun!” Tsuna greeted back between pants. Somewhere along the way Yamamoto joined them as well, laughing good naturedly. “Gokudera! Tsuna! Good morning! Haha, you guys are running late, too?” He didn’t seem to have any trouble keeping pace with them, not even breaking a sweat as he slung his arm over Tsuna’s shoulder, almost sending the smaller boy topping.
“Oi! Get your hands off the Juudaime, baseball freak!” And so the regular morning routine started once more, only with a twist, because they were sprinting down the streets and they almost ran Haru over as she stopped on her way to greet them.
“Hahi?!” the poor girl, barely made it out of the ordeal without a scratch. “Tsuna-san!”
“S-sorry, Haru! Can’t talk now! Gonna be late!” Tsuna waved over his shoulder and kept going.
And things just got more hectic when Sasagawa Ryohei caught sight of the sprinting trio and grinned broadly, “Getting to school on time TO THE EXTREME!” he thought they were racing and quickly joined them. “C’mon, Sawada! Faster! Let’s see who gets to school first!”
“Hii! B-but I just want to get there on time!” Tsuna whined, already ready to collapse. He yelped as Ryohei grabbed him around the wrist and started to drag him along in his extremely fast pace. “Eeeeeeh! Nii-san! Wait!”
“Aaaah! Where do you think you’re going with the Juudaime lawn-head!” Gokudera shouted and sped up to try to catch up with them.
Yamamoto just laughed in amusement, keeping up easily with Gokudera’s increased pace as well. “Haha, this are always so lively in the morning!”
“You!” Gokudera turned his glare at his closest friend besides Tsuna, not that he would ever admit it out loud. “Don’t just stand there! Go save Juudaime!”
Yamamoto shook his head in amusement. “Tsuna isn’t in danger. C’mon… It’s Sasagawa-san. He’s one of the ring guardians, too.”
Gokudera just glared, and muttered under his breath about unworthy people always touching his Juudaime and how there was nothing he could do about it. All Yamamoto could do was pretend he couldn’t hear him, but reached out to ruffle the silver-haired exchange student’s hair, earning another scathing reprimand from the Italian boy, which he took in stride, just like always.
~
“So Leon is sick and the kid isn’t telling you what it is?” Yamamoto summed up the story Tsuna had just finished telling them as they ate their lunch on the school roof.
“Un…” Tsuna nodded, his brows furrowed cutely in worry, barely touching his lunch.
“A-aah! But Reborn-san told you not to worry! I’m sure it’s nothing, Juudaime!” Gokudera quickly put in, not wanting to see his boss look so upset. “Besides, if he’s sick and can’t transform, you still have the dying will pills in case there’s a pinch, right?
“Well… I guess so… but it’s not only that… But Leon belongs to Reborn… he’s very important to Reborn… so in a way doesn’t that make him part of the Family?” Tsuna’s brow was still adorably puckered with worry.
“Juudaime…” Gokudera breathed out in awe, once again inspired and awed by the kindness of his boss, renewing his oath to protect this kind-hearted boy with his very life.
Yamamoto ruffled Tsuna’s hair, smiling gently but warmly. “Don’t worry so much, Tsuna… If the kid says it’s okay, then it’s okay, right?”
“Oi! Stop touching the Juudaime so casually you baseball freak or I’ll blow you up!” Gokudera’s threat was only met with amused laughter by the rain guardian, which only enraged the storm guardian even more.
“G-gokudera-kun… Y-yamamoto..” Tsna waved his arms in a sheepish attempt to start this brawl before it started, “I-it’s okay, really. I… Thank you boy, I feel better.” He smiled sweetly to show them that he really was feeling better. At this point he knew how to diffuse the fights between pretty quickly. At least most of the time
“J-juudaime…” Gokudera breathed out again, then smiled brightly, bowing his head, “O-of course, Juudaime! Anything for you! I’m glad I could help!”
“That’s right, Tsuna, we’re both glad we could help you feel better,” Yamamoto added, slinging his arm over Gokudera’s shoulder casually.
The storm guardian blushed furiously, then pushed the taller boy away from me, “Don’t touch me so casually, either you baseball freak!” once again he was answered with light-hearted laughter.
But before Tsuna could start to break them up again, more like pull Gokudera away from Yamamoto, the door to the school roof opened and they all tensed at once when the school’s disciplinary committee president stepped onto the school roof.
“Hnn…” Hibari sneered lightly at the three of them when he realized that his trip to the roof for peace and quiet wouldn’t be so easily attained. “Crowding up on the school roof, Sawada Tsunayoshi and friends?”
Hii! Tsuna mentally squealed. Why was he the one he mentioned by name?! And he was glaring at him harder than the other two, who were already before him, ready to defend him, Gokudera with his bombs, and Yamamoto with his diffusing smile.
“We’re just having lunch, Hibari-san. We’re not doing anything wrong”
“Come near the Juudaime and I’ll fucking kill you!”
Tsuna winced, since he knew that was the exact wrong thing to say, though he also knew that Gokudera was only thinking about his best interests, he still wished his storm guardian would learn not to haphazardly challenge Hibari all the time.
Hibari’s eyes narrowed at the challenge, pulling out his tonfas and earning a real squeal of panic from that Sawada herbivore. “I’ll bet you all to death.”
“N-now just calm down, Hibari-san,” Yamamoto chuckled sheepishly and waved his hands non-threateningly. “If you want us to leave we’ll go. We know we’re technically not supposed to eat lunch on the school roof.”
“Don’t just give into him, you stupid baseball freak! Why should we have to obey all his little whims like a brat on a temper tantrum?!” Gokudera glared daggers at the calmly frowning Hibari.
“G-gokudera-kun!” Tsuna half-whined, half-pleaded that he’d stop fanning the flames around the dire situation.
Just then a foot collided with the back of his head, sending the young Volgola heir stumbling forward a step. Recognizing the tiny, but hard foot, he whirled around, tears in his eyes, even as he fixed him with an indignant pout, “Reborn!”
“Show some backbone, dame-Tsuna,” was the only excuse the tiny hitman offered for his actions.
“The baby…” Hibari’s rage diffused at the sight of the insanely powerful child. He really doubted he had even seen a fraction of the child’s abilities and it always left him curious to see him going all out. Of course such a thing had yet to happen.
As indignant as Tsuna was to be called spineless, his anger quickly gave way to his worry. “Reborn, is Leon okay now?” After all, Reborn never went anywhere without his faithful companion, not even when Leon had last his tail, he had strapped the blob he had turned into to his back.
“Leon’s fine, see?” Reborn tipped his hat down a little and sure enough, the chameleon was perched on the rim of his hat, looking just as perky as usual, his long tail flicking out at them all.
“Haaaa…” Tsuna breathed out in relief, a smile tugging at his lips, “I’m glad he’s okay. What was the matter with him before anyways?”
“The matter..? Well nothing, really” Reborn smirked a bit cryptically.
“But he looked pale this morning and then those weird colors.”
“That doesn’t mean something was wrong with him. Leon just finished developing a new present for you, Tsuna.”
Large, caramel colored eyes blinked in surprise. “Something for me?”
Reborn’s little smirk just grew, nodding, “Aa, something for you.” He suddenly held up a pink bullet up, and despite it’s cute color and the fact that it was just a bullet, Tsuna jumped back like Reborn had just pointed a loaded gun at him.
“Hiiii!! A… a bullet?!”
“Aah, is that a new special bullet, Reborn-san?” Gokudera knelt by Tsuna, looking at the pink bullet with a mixture of awe and a bit of revulsion. It probably held some great new ability for his Juudaime… but a pink bullet? That was so girly!
“What does it do?” Yamamoto asked as he joined the forming huddle, the Hibari threat now completely forgotten, but even Hibari couldn’t help but be curious at his safe distance. He had noticed it before. When the baby shot Sawada with thos special bullets the herbivore would become a much better challenge. He wondered what this ‘new special bullet’ would do as well, watching them all with narrowed eyes, especially on the baby.
“Well let’s find out, ne?” Reborn asked, loading his gun with the new bullet and point it at Tsuna in the span of a second, the Volgola heir blasted back the next second from being shot point blank, not even having had the time to look panicked before his eyes were wide and unseeing a bullet hole in his head, dribbling a small trail of blood, sprawled on the school roof.
“Juudaime!”
“Tsuna!”
Storm and Rain guardian were shocked by the brutal act, though they really should have been used to it by now. They both rushed to the ‘dead’ Tsuna’s side, Gokudera lifting his head to cradle it gently on his lap. Seconds passed and nothing seemed to happen and Gokudera’s heart was ready to burst in fear that the arcobelano had really just killed the 10th Volgola heir.
“J-juudaime! Juudaime, wake up!” He shook the lifeless form gently, then a little harder when it got now reaction. “Juudaime!!” He turned panicked and enraged aqua eyes on the expressionless face of Reborn. What did you do to the Juudaime, you fucking brat!!” He would have grabbed infant and shaken him hard, but he refused to leave Tsuna’s still form, angry tears pricking the corners of his eyes. “I-if you… i-if you… t-the juudaime… I’ll fucking kill you!”
Reborn’s response was a raised eyebrow and a smirk.
“Gokudera, calm down,” Yamamoto tried to soothe the storm guardian, though the knot in his own throat was tight.
“S-shut up, you baseball freak! The J-juudaime… H-he’s… he’s…!”
“He’s fine…” Reborn finished for him, “Look.”
Instantly both teens were looking more closely at the petite brunette’s still form. The bullet wound in the middle of his forehead had stopped bleeding and the hole itself was widening like a slowly splitting seam. It was then that Gokudera realized that the form in his arms was lightly. “J-juudaime..?”
The outer skin fell away and within… was… nothing..? “W-where’d the Juudaime go?!” Gokudera didn’t think he could take anymore surprises like this. He was ready to tear his hair out and blow up half the school.
“Calm down Gokudera, look,” Yamamoto motioned to a lump in the remains of Tsuna’s school uniform the ‘skin’ having already disintegrated.
“Juu… juudaime..?” Gokudera asked attentively. Tsuna was small… but not this small, right..? Could the squirming mass really be his Juudaime? He pulled off the torn shirt and vest and… was met by impossibly wide and bright honey colored eyes. “Aah! Juudaime! You’re okay!”
Gokudera could only sigh in relief to see regular Tsuna staring up at him, those bright and guileless eyes despite all the tragedies they had seen. Those cutely pinkened cheeks, the cute embarrassed look he always got when he was left in only his underwear after a normal dying will flame disappeared. The long white and fluffy bunny ears that poked out of the adorably messy brown hair… Wait… what?!
“Juudaime?!” Gokudera yelped in shock, pulling back to stare at his boss better. The boy in his arms was indeed Sawada Tsunayoshi, but… he seemed smaller, younger… and those ears! He knew that Tsuna was not supposed to have bunny ears! Not matter how cute they looked on him! And… and… oh gods, he had a fluffy tail to match! Oh gods! He didn’t just lean over the confusedly blinking boy to check that out!
Yamamoto was just staring in silent surprise. The transformation was even enough to much for the baseball star’s usual cheerful and oblivious remarks. At the edge of his vision he noticed that Hibari looked mildly surprised by the strange turn of events as well. And Reborn… that damn Reborn! He was just smirking as if he expected this to happen all along!
“Ah… Gokudera-kun…?” Tsuna’s soft voice, more child-like than usual, spoke softly up at him. “W-why are you holding me like this..?” the pink hue in those youth rounded cheeks became a bit darker and Gokudera yelped, dropping the young Vongola boss as if scalded by the touch.
“Itai!” Tsuna squeaked in surprise, his brows frowning in confusion, “What was that for, Gokudera-kun?!”
“J-juudaime… y-you…” but the words wouldn’t come, the storm guardian just staring dumbly and blushing darker by the moment.
“What..? Gokudera..? Yamamoto..? Why are you guys staring at me like that?” Tsuna’s brows furrowed in confusion, pouting lightly at his two oddly acting friends. “What happened with the bullet? I… I don’t feel any different… Ah..! Did you two get bigger?!” Tsuna noticed at last that even though they were all still on the floor of the school roof Gokudera and Yamamoto were towering over him.
“Fuu…” Reborn made a soft sound of amusement. “Still as slow as always dame-Tsuna. Pay better attention to your surroundings.
“Eh..? What are you talking about, I don’t see anything different. What did the bullet do..?” Tsuna said pushing his hands down on the floor to try to get up and then blinked in surprise when he noticed how small his hands were, his eyes widening in shock. “Hii?!” He plopped back down to the floor, his hands raising before his eyes, studying them hard. “M-my hands!”
“Ne, you got really small all of a sudden, Tsuna,” Yamamoto seemed to get over his shock and chuckled softly.
“S-smaller..?!” and Tsuna looked himself over my closely. “Aaah! I’ve shrunk! Reborn! What did you do to me?!” the young Vongola Decimo wailed. Reborn just continued to smirk.
“Aa, and your ears are really cute, too. This is a strange new ability, ne Tsuna?” Yamamoto, on a roll now, laughed.
“My ears?” Tsuna asked in confusion.
“Aah! Stupid baseball freak! Don’t say things that will only worry Juudaime more!” Gokudera tacked Yamamoto down and started to wring his neck in an attempt to silence him for good, but it was useless. Yamamoto just pried him off quickly and chuckled. “What? They’re cute.”
“You don’t understand anything at all, you idiot! If the Juudaime were to…”
But it was too late. Tsuna had cupped his hands over his ears, frowning at the odd shape of them, then with his fingers, traced the shape of them up… and up… and up, feeling the soft fur tickling the pads of his fingertips as he did so. Eyes slowly getting wider with each inch higher his fingers went, Tsuna finally grabbed the tips and yanked his ears down to look at them. His ears… long… cute… white… rabbit ears… RABBIT EARS!
Gokudera saw the growing panic in Tsuna’s quickly paling form and tried to do some damage control, “J-juudaime! I-it’s not that bed! Y-your ears… t-they’re… they’re really cute!” he blurted out with a blush.
Tsuna was still staring at the long floppy ears in wide-eyed shock, Gokudera’s words passing by him like water of a duck’s back.
“J-juudaime…?”
“Oi, Tsuna… are you okay..? You look… r-really… really pale… as white as your ears and tail!” worry now registered in Yamamoto’s eyes.
T-tail..? TAIL! Tsuna chanced a look behind him and was greeted by a fluffy little puff of a white tail to match his ears, eyes bugging out when it flicked and puffed in recognition of it’s existence.
The normal hustle and bustle of the school during lunch came to a stand still by a loud, long, ear splitting squeal.
“HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!”

To be continued
... Okay... why did I write this? Because Reborn is my current obsession and I want silly fluffy smutty goodness. Yeah, I'm that messed up.. XD;;
Don't expect a lot of amazingness for this fic, I'm just mainly writing it for my own sake... because I love shota and uke!shota!bunny!Tsuna is just... so awesome it hurts!
Pairing for this fic..? >3 Tsuna-bicycle! XD! Most of the guardians x Tsuna. Maybe Dino and a few others depending on how I feel. XD;
Why a bunny...? C'mon... Tsuna is so a bunny. There's not denying it! XD!
This fic won't follow events in the series to the letter, it's not meant to. It'll probably mention a few events in passing, but it works very well outside of the actual series as well... I think... Expect a lot of OCC-ness, especially from Tsuna. X3
Please Review! Reviews make me feel all warm and gooey inside!
Rating: PG/PG-13 for now (if only for Gokudera's language) for the first chapter, NC-17 in the following chapters. This is just meant to be smut. XD

To be continued
... Okay... why did I write this? Because Reborn is my current obsession and I want silly fluffy smutty goodness. Yeah, I'm that messed up.. XD;;
Don't expect a lot of amazingness for this fic, I'm just mainly writing it for my own sake... because I love shota and uke!shota!bunny!Tsuna is just... so awesome it hurts!
Pairing for this fic..? >3 Tsuna-bicycle! XD! Most of the guardians x Tsuna. Maybe Dino and a few others depending on how I feel. XD;
