To all of my Neko,
Chapter 1: finally my love
(come to me my beautiful manslave at last we can be together once more) ,(flowers may arrive when least expected.)
She could tell that a long time had passed since her sleep had begun. Her nest was warm but constricting. She wondered if any one was still there to remember her for it had been so long. “Saya is it time yet?”
though his voice was muffled through the strong shell, she could hear his deep caring tone. She felt the pulsing in her head. Her eyes set out a blinding light as she savagely ripped through her cocoon. Her feet touched the cold floor.
She was pure in his sight her eyes not shining with rage but with hope. Her hair was in pools on the floor. the cold air stung her bare skin.
A warm arm pulled her close. She looked up “Haji.” She held him tighter taking in his familiar sent of faint roses and wood rosin. “your awake.” He smiled to her. He took of his warm jacket and placed it around her. “thank you …Haji. how long?...” “three years.”
“that’s not as long as I thought.” “yes I am glad to have you back so soon. Every moment without you has seemed like an eternity.” “Haji?” “are you ready?” he waited for her nod before turning around taking his dagger and slicing his cursed hand. he sucked at the blood pouring out of the wound until it closed. It tasted sweet and fragrant for his blood was hers. He bent on one knee and she tilted her head to press her lips against his. He opened his mouth as his essence touched her lips. He embraced her holding her tightly.
Her eyes burned brightly as she explored his mouth searching for more. Her fangs scratched his lips as she begged for more. He released his grip. “Saya.” “I’m so thirsty Haji.” He unbuttoned his shirt and pulled back his collar.
She looked in to his soft eyes before sinking her fangs in to his strong shoulder. “ahh Saya…” he looked at her a flash of passion in his eyes. She relinquished her grip and finished the blood around the wound.
“Saya… you need more.” “Haji.. I need you to keep your strength. I can get more when I see Julia.” “If that is your wish.” He did not rise. “Haji I missed you so much. But I could feel you when you came to visit.
I could hear you play our song. Haji I was sad when I could not see you before my sleep. I wanted you to know,” she looked in to his eyes. “That I love you,” he embraced her holding her in his tight grip.
“I wish I had said so earlier, I could have stopped all of the pain and longing.” “Saya you can not blame yourself. We had to focus on our mission. Now that it has been completed we can share our reward, a happy peaceful life, together with family and friends.”
“Haji.” “Saya I love you not just as your Chevalier but as the boy who you held in your arms and who you comforted and loved so many years ago. Saya I may not be able to give you children but I will love you as no other man can. I will honor your every wish as I always have and always will. No mater if you cast me away or turn in to something else I will always be with you. When you call I will answer. I will push myself as farther than I believe I can go just to see your smile one more time. Saya, if it is your true wish, will you be my bride?” he bowed holding out a ring with a pink sapphire surrounded by diamonds on a platinum band. “Yes Haji Yes I will.”
He placed the ring on her hand before she embraced him. After holding each other for what seemed forever, he picked something off of the marble shelf turning to her with a slight smile. “Haji why..?” the solid image of the long yet soft genuine horse heir cello bow was clasped in his strong hand. “a message to alert my visits to the outside world.” He ran the tip slightly against her neck.
“Haji stop that you’ll ruin this beautiful two hundred year old Antonio Stradivari bow.” She took it from him running her hands across the beautifully carved wood taking in the familiar sent exciting her.
“Saya..” she opened one eye defensively her lips pouting. “Getting jealous are we?” she prodded him slightly as though playfully stabbing him with her sword. “Saya.. maybe it’s you who is the jealous one.”
She smiled mischievously letting his coat slip a bit to revel her attraction to the cold before scrunching the coat tightly in her hands turning abruptly so as to let the charcoal material fly in motion. She walked smugly out of the tomb stating, “I think I’ve won my case.” Saya took her first steps outside in three years changing her tone. “It’s cold Haji” he held her close to his warm body.
“ahh it’s snowing! I didn’t know it could in Okinawa.” She saw something out of the corner of her eye. “Haji?” she questioned as she picked up the frozen pink rose his ribbon tied around it. She saw him for the first time in the light. Though it was clean his hair had grown longer in the years. His face had not changed except for the softness of his smile and the glow in his eyes. His bandaged hand did look different though she reached for it. Haji was startled a bit.
“What’s the matter?” “Saya when you killed Diva, some part of me began to awaken a part that had been locked in me when she.. killed me.” “Haji?” “my arm is healing bit by bit. And I do not want you to see it until it is completely healed like before. it is almost complete it won’t take much time.” “Haji please.. I need to…” he nodded knowing that she would not give up until she had what she wanted. She unwrapped the bandage over his hand and lower arm. She gasped as she saw the human flesh mingling with the chiropteran appearance. Haji was surprised when she bent down to kiss his hand. “we can be just the way we were then.” Haji was a little sad. He remembered when she had awakened the last time. The fear I her eyes as she saw his cursed hand almost killed him inside. And the only time that he released his true power her fear was more painful to him than any physical pain could ever cause. “Haji what’s wrong?” “It has passed. I will enjoy the time when I am able to hold my hand in yours with out people staring at the bandage. “Haji I don’t think that they are staring at the bandage.” She said cupping his cheek in her hand gently caressing the soft skin behind his ear. “Saya. You tease.” “Haji, let’s go home.” He scoped her up then dashed off to Omoro’s.
