Regrets
First, i would like to mention that this story is sort of an auto-biography of a very best friend of mine. She had been through too much searching for her love but when she thought she had it in her grasps, it would slowly fall into millions of tiny shards, slowly cutting into her soul. Many various events within the story are exaggerated in order to create a fan-fic, but the core of this story is what truly happened to my best friend. There are elements of drug/alcohol abuse and suicide attempts included in the story so if anyone feels uncomfortable reading this auto-biography, please leave now. Haruhi has been chosen to represent my friend and even though the characters might not act the way they should in the manga/anime, they have been slightly modified to retell the story of my friend which i think should be known to everyone. Some characters might be non-existent or un-involved in the story, for which i truly apologize for. I would just like you guys to know that the main reason i'm writing this story is to let the people know that things that are fantasized in the world of anime/manga could truly happen to people around us. That love is fragile. It could mend a broken heart, and shatter it into millions of pieces with just one, deadly word.
i hope you guys like it ^^

she huddled her legs close to her chest as she shivered slightly from the chill of the morning breeze. The coldness sweept through the air like a sharp blade, cutting deep into her, leaving burning trails of icyness on her bare skin. She stared blankly across her disaster struck room to a poster on the wall. A pair of dark sepia eyes glared back straight at her; the caption reading, "God sees all" in German. Today will be a better day, she told herself, holding her legs tighter towards her shivering body. It will.

-All Begins with Music in the Soul-
The huge mahogany doors of the 3rd music room slowly creaked open as Haruhi peered through the cracks and slowly stepped inside. She sighed a breath of relief when she finally found a quiet place to rest and keep her thoughts to herself. She slowly scanned the room ; the piano stood alone, glimmering white as the sun shone its bright rays through the heavy, sunken curtains creating a mirage or colors. The piano casted a lonely shadow, resting silently on the grand marble tiles.
Haruhi skipped across the marble and carefully sat on the chair. She lifted the dusty cover and slowly placed her long, delicate fingers on the keys. Thoughtfully, Haruhi plucked out a few notes from her favorite lullaby, her favorite lullaby which her mother would sing to her every night. Now, she is gone. and Haruhi knows, the lullaby will only live forever in her sweet memories and be forever forgotten when she leaves this world. Captured in her own memories, Haruhi didn't notice the fantastic ashen figure that had gracefully advanced behind the doors, listening attentively to the eroded soul expressed through the sorrowful tunes of the lullaby. Soon he was also enraptured by the delicate piano notes.
The figure instinctively walked foward and inched his way step by step, closer to the unknown shadow of this girl. Then, by accident, the figured stumbled across a piece of wire on the ground and pushed on the door to support himself, resulting in a loud screech from the slightly rusted hinges of the giant door. with lightning fast reactions, Haruhi stopped abruptly and spun around to scrutinize the figure fallen on the marble, sprawled flat on their stomach with a very red forehead. She walked over hesitantly and looked down onto the falled figure. She reached out a hand and offered it to the stranger.
"need a hand?"
The stranger quickly reached for the hand and pulled himself up, revealing his sparkling purple eyes under his messy blonde hair. He looked into her chocolate-brown eyes and smiled a radiant smile. He quickly held out a hand and motioned to shake.
"I am Suoh Tamaki, the presiden of the ouran highschool host club. i just came by to check up on our soon-to-be club room. You are welcome to visit any time you want." then he leaned down and kissed her on the hand.
Haruhi felt her heart speed up as he leaned down and turned bright red the moment his soft lips touched her hand. Tamaki chuckled at her reaction and pushed his hair back. Haruhi froze on the spot and was speechless to the continuous events that occured in the last five minutes.
"i know the piano, too. very well actually. would i have the honor to accompany you?"
"uh.... uh... no...no i mean yes! yes, tamaki-kun. i would love to play the piano with you." Haruhi stuttered nervously as Tamaki led her by the hand back to the white piano. Yet this time, the tune danced with joy across the room and soft laughter was heard, echoing throughout the hollow room. Just the two of them, Haruhi and Tamaki.
The cupid has picked his next victim.
