Akito opening his morning paper was enraged when he saw pictures of Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, Aya, Haru, Momiji and Hatori taking turns kissing Tohru. Then he read the story that went with the pictures and hit the ceiling and went over to the phone demanded they come to his house now.

I could hardly believe it when I opened my morning paper to be greeted by pictures of Yuki, Kyo, Shigure, Aya, Haru, Momiji and Hatori taking turns kissing Tohru. Then I read the story that went with it.

Knowing that if Tohru's grandfather saw this story before I got to talk to him there would be trouble made me enraged. Quickly I called over at their house and demanded they come over to my house for an emergency meeting.

I was scared when Akito demanded all of us come over to his house for an emergency meeting. I was so afraid that he was going to remove his blessing on the upcoming wedding.

So I in way relived when after arriving at the house all he did was yell at us for getting our pictures in the paper.

More then a little scared at what had made Akito so mad. I was relieved when all he did was yell about how the newspaper article could mess up his upcoming discussion with Tohru's grandfather.

Damn, I never thought about more newspapers. I hope Tohru's grandfather doesn't freak over the pictures.

Why didn't it accrue to us that the press would be there yesterday. I hope Tohru's grandfather doesn't see this article.

I don't see what Akito is so steamed about. The pictures aren't that bad. After all we are fully dressed. Besides the story makes it quite clear that a wedding is in the making. Which reminds me I need to get started on Tohru's wedding gown.

O boy, Akito is mad. At least he isn't removing his blessing.

Thank goodness Akito isn't removing his blessing. I don't want to have to wait till I turn 20 to marry Tohru.

What if Tohru's grandfather gets angry over the pictures. I can't stand the thought that we might have to wait till Tohru turns twenty to get married.

Akito seeing them chastened sent them home after promising to do his best with Tohru's grandfather.

Seeing they were properly chastened I sent them home after promising to do my best with Tohru's grandfather. Besides in truth I can't blame them for getting caught up in the moment.

Chapter Two

Akito deciding it would be prudent to act quickly called Tohru's grandfather right away and set up a meeting for lunch that day.

Knowing the sooner I acted the better chances for a happy ending. I quickly called Tohru's grandfather. To my relief he was a quiet, pleasant natured man who quickly agreed to meet with me at my house that day for lunch. Of course I think it helped when I mentioned that it had to do with a urgent matter concerning his granddaughter Tohru.

I have to admit I was surprised when I sitting down getting ready to read the morning paper my cell phone rang. No one calls me unless it is emergency before
noon. So quickly putting the paper down I answered my cell. Boy was I surprised when the man on the phone introduced himself as Akito Sohma and asked me to meet him at his house for lunch today to discuss and urgent matter concerning Tohru. Of course I agreed. Unable to focus on such trivialities as the morning paper I begin to get dress in my best suit. Then left for the near by mall to pick up some kind of gift for my host. Finally I found a stainless steel and black Saki set. Looking at my watch I realized if I was going to be on time I need to leave
now.

While Tohru's grandfather had gotten ready this morning. Akito-san's servants had been preparing a wonderful luncheon. Finally it was time and Tohru's grandfather knocked on the gates to leading into the main house.

When I saw Sohma's home I almost run for it. Until seeing this house I didn't realize how wealthy the Sohma family was. But concern for my granddaughter made me raise my fist and knocked on the gates.

After being let inside by servants I was made even more aware of the wealth and power of the Sohma family. Somehow I wondered why my granddaughter hadn't run away in fear.

Suddenly I noticed a man standing by a window in one of the house. What startled me was how much he look like Yuki. I wonder if he might be Yuki's older brother. To my surprise he came out and greeted me before introducing himself as Akito Sohma the head of the Sohma family.

I could tell Tohru's grandfather was feeling threatened by Sohma family wealth as he walked across the grounds to my house. Trying to put him at ease I came out of the house and greeted him before introducing myself. I could tell he had been expecting someone much to be the head of family but o well.

Akito-san quickly led Honda-san into house and had him seated at his table.

Once the food had been seated in front of us. I bid my servants to leave and said { Sir , I see the no reason to beat around the bush. Your granddaughter wishes to marry into the Sohma family as soon as possible. But since she is not yet 20 she needs your written consent. After I suggested as head of the Sohma family it would be best to let me ask you if you will sign the papers. So Honda-san will you or do you intend to make them wait until Tohru turns twenty. }

To say I was surprised when Sohma-san revealed the reason he asked me here was to obtain my written consent for Tohru to marry into the Sohma family. I not sure why but the first question wasn't who is she going to marry. But is Tohru pregnant? I was relived when Sohma-san not to my knowledge.

I was about to say no I wouldn't sign the paperwork when a vision of Tohru's smiling face when she was with Yuki and Kyo. Then a vision of her laying sobbing on ground when I told her she had to move back in with me. After these visions I was so shaken all I could say was
{ if you have the paperwork here I can sign now }.

I was concerned when Honda-san smiled when I told him that Tohru wasn't pregnant to my knowledge. I had the feeling he was going to say no to Tohru marrying into the Sohma family. Then he got this weird look on his face and said { if you have the paperwork here I can sign now }. Having come to love Tohru like a sister I was glad I would have good news to tell her this afternoon.

Not wanting to give him time to change his mind I called the Sohma family lawyer in from the other room with the paperwork . I also called in to of my servants to be witnesses.

After signing the papers and finishing lunch I drove back home. Now the excitement was over I decided to go ahead and read my morning paper. Boy was I surprised when I turned to the second page and saw pictures of my granddaughter being kissed by seven different men. Since I knew two of them were Sohmas I guessed the others were too. Suddenly it clicked why Akito-san had been very
careful not to mention who Tohru wanted to marry and I screamed.

Now that the paperwork was safety signed I called Tohru and told her the good news. I have to admit I smiled at the pleasure in her voice.

I had been sitting by the phone all morning waiting to hear from Akito getting more and more nervous. So when the phone finally rang at 1 in the afternoon I was ready to cry. So I was overjoyed when Akito said the paperwork was safety signed and sealed. I was so overcome I could help but say thank you over and over.

After I finally hung up the phone I started running the house telling all the guys the good news and kissing them.

All morning Hatori, Aya and I had sat in my library talking about what to do if Tohru's grandfather refused to sign. Suddenly I hear Tohru joyfully saying thank you over and over. A feeling peace filled my heart and I was certain it had been good news. I knew I was right when she ran into the room kissed me before kissing Hatori and Aya before saying { he signed I can't believe it he signed} . Then she was off to tell the others.

All morning I worried that we might have to disappear with Tohru for a couple years to ensure Tohru's grandfather didn't separate us. Then I heard Tohru joyfully saying thank you over and over. Seconds later she burst into the room and kisses Shigure before kissing me & Aya. Then almost bouncing she says{ he signed I can't believe it he signed }. Then she was off to tell the others.

All morning I thought about ways to take off with Tohru if her grandfather didn't sign the consent. Then I heard her saying over and over thank you. Then she burst into the room. Seeing her joyful face I felt my heart grow lighter and I knew he had signed. I was so happy that I didn't even pout that she kissed Shigure and Hatori first. After they were closer to door.

For the past few hours I had been practicing martial arts with Haru trying not to worry but not really being successful. I was getting ready to perform a spinning kick when Tohru ran up to me and knocked me. My first thought was o no her grandfather not only said no but wanted her to return his house. Then I saw her joyful face and happily accepted her kiss. Only After she had kissed Haru too did she start bubbling { he signed I can't believe it he signed }.

All morning I had been worrying about what to do if Tohru's grandfather refused to let Tohru marry us. Then suddenly I saw Tohru tackle Kyo to ground with a joyful face and knew he had signed. Knowing this I didn't even feel upset that she choose to kiss Kyo first. After all I got my kiss too. Only after she had kissed both us did she joyfully tell us { he signed I can't believe it he signed }.

I was weeding my garden worrying about Tohru's granddaughter would say. When suddenly Tohru came running down the path with the most joyful smile on her face. Seeing the look on her face I knew her grandfather had signed and gladly let her kiss me senseless.

I had been sitting beside the lake for several hours worrying what I would do if Tohru's grandfather tried to take her away from us. Then out of no where Tohru jumped me causing us to fall into the lake. Once we emerged she covered my face with kisses and said { he signed I can't believe it he signed }.

Thou Tohru's grandfather regretted signing the forms when he realized Tohru planned to marry seven different Sohma men there was nothing he could do. So the wedding was scheduled to take place in two months.
